It is a battle of field goals so far.
That's good for the Dolphins because the Texans have dominated this game so far. They drove inside Miami's 20-yard line twice in the first quarter.
They had a 40 yard punt return by Jacoby Jones.
And still they're only down, 6-3.

The 400+ yards from Henne last week were empty yards. We were down most of the game. HE SUCKS!! If the fish lose today, Sparano should be fired!!

Carpenter's name suggests he should be something other than a kicker.
Posted by: Why Me | September 18, 2011 at 05:36 PM
Great idea Henne can play on the offensive line then move back to QB and then run to the end zone to catch his pass. Silly fans sometimes
Posted by: socalfan | September 18, 2011 at 05:37 PM
Parcels did this to us in purpose

16-3 at the half. worse than monday night. 3 pts? anyone see the first half? they have 166 yds passing and 54 rushing. how do they only have 3 pts? the only part of the game i saw was the fg right before the half.

It's sad that Marshall can make that amazing 19 yard catch but can't make a routine catch in the end zone! Run Thomas more tho loosen it up and slow the pass rush. He doesn't look hesitant!
Posted by: Jaison | September 18, 2011 at 05:39 PM
3yrs of fistpumps, if you were Carpenter your kicking leg would have fallen off too!
Oh boy, we may never score again!

I am not a Lions fan but watched what happens when you finally get rid of bad mgmt. Miami didnt do it and we are now condemned to mediocrity. Hope they tank so we can get rid of these leaders and get Andrew Luck. The whole world knew what was needed in backs and line. How did they miss this?

Peter King suggested we would be at the cellar of the AFC East. Two games into the season and, well, King is King. The Dolphins must not disappoint the King.
Posted by: Why Me | September 18, 2011 at 05:42 PM
Bright side is if we suck bad enough get Luck and bring in a real coaching staff I.E. Cowher, Gruden get someone who can motivate this bunch of losers

jaison,
henne doesnt have to put that mustard on a ball to Marshall in the endzone. A simple jump ball would do. No way Jason Allen out physicals him in the endzone.
Henne still doesnt quite know how to properly use Marshall. Marshall would make his life so much easier when he does.

ANybody see SANCHEZ shredding the competition?
Posted by: Marc | September 18, 2011 at 05:43 PM
Twice inside the redzone, against a high powered offense and we settle for field goal tries, then sack Schaub with 28 seconds and instead of calling a timeout to force a kickoff in the case of a field goal or a few throws downfield in case of a miss, we don't except for a stupid timeout to ice the kicker.
That's why we'll be 0-2 today...inexcusable no b*lls coaching. And how about the special teams. From a LONG time dolfan, this level of incompetence is embarrasing.
Posted by: Dolfan Frank | September 18, 2011 at 05:44 PM
Sanchez was awful too. The jags are just worse.
