The Dolphins snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
God, they are terrible.
They allowed Tim Tebow, who was sacked seven times and didn't seem to have a clue for 3 1/2 quarters to author a comeback victory. He helped the Broncos score two touchdowns and then get the winning field goal in overtime.
Owner Stephen Ross spent the entire final 5 minutes and overtime standing next to former Gators coach Urban Meyer. That doesn't mean anything short-term because Meyer isn't a coaching candidate today. But add him to the eventual list that will interest Ross. No doubt.
Also, the future of current coach Tony Sparano hangs in the balance tonight. Check back later for updates.

FIRE EVERYBODY.

None of you seem to get it. It doesn't matter if Sparano is fired or we get the first pick in the draft. Ireland and Ross are close friends. Ireland isn't going anywhere and if you think he's drafting Luck, you're insane. We're doomed until Ross sells.

Phin 78, Go with Marc..., You need some lovin or something, And going with Marc you'll get that "Something".... what that something is, I dont know...... Not that there's anything wrong with that.......

Bye bye, Dolphins, I've had enough. Wake me when I should start caring again, please.
Posted by: Olindo von Shula | October 23, 2011 at 05:50 PM
this is the worst dolphins team in their history. Is sporano's bags packed?
Posted by: myron | October 23, 2011 at 05:50 PM
Even I knew Tebow was going to run for 2. And I'm dead!
Posted by: M. Gadhafi posting from hell | October 23, 2011 at 05:51 PM
Does anyone else get it?
Tebow could have scored at any time during the game that he wanted.
He didn't want to offend the residents of the State of Florida so he acted incompetent for the first 50 minutes of the game.
Had he wanted he could have put up 15 points on his first 2 drives and then ran out the clock.
Posted by: PriceMaster | October 23, 2011 at 05:52 PM
I wish this fool would stop posting about the Vikings. No one here cares about the Vikings.
Posted by: Buster Leeson | October 23, 2011 at 05:52 PM
HELP... has anyone seen the Sparano Post Press conference??? I didnt see it in the 5th quarter yet.
Posted by: NY "G" | October 23, 2011 at 05:52 PM
As pissed as I am, I feel for Sparsno. Ireland and Ross' terrible personnel decisions and tight pockets doomed this team. We all saw this coming with the lack of talent acquisitions. An Olineman, TE and safety and this team is 3-3 right now. Not that that's great but it's not all Sparano. My point is if Ireland stays its a travesty.
Posted by: jrljr2 | October 23, 2011 at 05:53 PM
Johnsdolphins,
Will Allen came from the corner free untouched
and ran right by Tebow. Thats why he scored easy.
Posted by: robert | October 23, 2011 at 05:53 PM
if Ireland stays IT WILL BE THE SAME CRAP!!!!!
Posted by: johnsdolphins | October 23, 2011 at 05:53 PM
Even I knew Tebow was going to run for 2.
Posted by: Unborn Fetus | October 23, 2011 at 05:54 PM
Price, Is Lil Timmy(I want to thank My Lord and Savior) Tebow that cloose to God????? Thank god he had mercy on us for the first 55 minutes......LMAO..
Posted by: Cuban Menace | October 23, 2011 at 05:56 PM
I tried something different today. I watched the game with the sound off & them music from "The Benny Hill Show" playing instead. It really fit.
Posted by: Turd Ferguson | October 23, 2011 at 05:56 PM
Even I knew Tebow was going to run for 2. And I'm dumb as a box of rocks!
Posted by: Governor R. Scott | October 23, 2011 at 05:57 PM
Embarrassing.
Goodbye Tony. Doesn't matter who the interim coach is or who they want next season. The collapse at the end shows this team is simply bad and in disarray and in tbe 4th season under the same coach, they can't bet either and have him keep his job.
Wow that was bad.
Posted by: mark saxton | October 23, 2011 at 05:57 PM
ROBERT. THEY SCORED BECAUSE THE COACHES ARE TOO STUPID AND LET THEM SPREAD OUR DEFENSE OUT WITH NO ONE IN THE BACK FIELD I MEAN COME ON WHO DIDN'T KNOW TEBOW WOULD RUN IT???!!! THESE COACHES ARE TERRIBLE !!!! And sean smith should never have stayed on this team at least not first string!!! All the passes were against him cuz what team doesn't know about throwing at him he stinks!!!
Posted by: johnsdolphins | October 23, 2011 at 05:57 PM
LOL At Turd....................

Did u see sparanos presser? Even he knows he pumped his last fist.
Posted by: buckeyephinfan | October 23, 2011 at 05:58 PM
Cuban, I will never be a part of the Gang of Defeat. I will continue to hope my Dolphins will win. I just have never seen such a deflating loss, and for no reason. It is time to make a change, and I really like Sparano but there really is no other choice. This has to be the lowest point EVER for this team.
Posted by: bobbyd12 | October 23, 2011 at 05:59 PM
Keep up the good fight Bobby......... Go Fins...
Posted by: Cuban Menace | October 23, 2011 at 06:00 PM
Even I knew Tebow was running for 2. Miss me yet?
Posted by: Cam Cameron | October 23, 2011 at 06:00 PM
Okay, so the Dolphins will maybe not win the Super Bowl this year, but they have tons of good young talent and an improving Quarterback. I say they won't be down for long.
Posted by: Stephanie Lee | October 23, 2011 at 06:01 PM
Jeff Ireland and Tony Sparano are the Chupacabras!!!!
Posted by: bahamadolphan | October 23, 2011 at 06:02 PM
Hey Stephanie I like your positive attitude. By any cahnce are you single?
Posted by: robert | October 23, 2011 at 06:03 PM
You suck for luck dummies are truly dumb. You think Luck wants to come to this dumpster fire??? He can pull an Elway/Manning and tell the Dolphins to take a hike.
You fans are dumb, don't you read history? Obviously not.
Posted by: Funny | October 23, 2011 at 06:03 PM
Rondo, I need to know if you have heard from your source(s) if Sparano has been fired. After that debacle, he does not deserve to finish the year. Keep us informed....
Posted by: Aaron | October 23, 2011 at 06:03 PM
Do you people think this team can beat LSU or $aban's Alabama right now ?
This was beyond awful. Did they not know Tebow is going to run on the 2pt try ???
We have a trap game in a few weeks against Washington because are we bad enough to lose to John Beck ????
I think so
Posted by: Eran | October 23, 2011 at 06:03 PM
LOL
Posted by: Stephanie Lee | October 23, 2011 at 06:04 PM
I don't want to hear that by making a change at the coaching position will not help anything. I really don't give a f. I will at least be super happy to see this clown leave. It had become hatred what I feel about this guy. I pay money to win not to lose. This clown leaves this coming week and that will be my playoffs and super bowl victory for this year. FIRE THE CLOWN NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: oristela | October 23, 2011 at 06:04 PM
Even I knew Tebow was running for 2. I just wanted to get Tony fired. Oh crap! Did I actually type that?
Posted by: M. Nolan | October 23, 2011 at 06:04 PM
HEY D FLUTIE YOU CLOSED YOUR EYES ON THAT PLAY YA MIDGET!!!!
Posted by: johnsdolphins | October 23, 2011 at 06:04 PM
great sense of humor Steph we need that now after watching this team.
Posted by: robert | October 23, 2011 at 06:04 PM
I especially liked the fact that our d-line & lb's were pushed downfield another 5 yards after contact on most running plays. No heart.
Posted by: Turd Ferguson | October 23, 2011 at 06:05 PM
Even I knew Tebow was going to run for 2.
Posted by: Stevie Wonder | October 23, 2011 at 06:06 PM
John I understand what you mean yes the coaching is terrible. When you don't have confidence in your players it shows. It also means the players have 0 confidence in the coaching staff. This is just plain bad no other way to describe it.
Posted by: robert | October 23, 2011 at 06:06 PM
Even I knew Tebow was going to run for 2.
Posted by: Michael Jacksons Corpse | October 23, 2011 at 06:07 PM
The problem with this team seats at the top with ownership. Mr. Ross is more interested in being a celebrity, having famous minority owners as part of the team rolling out the orange carpet and making game day a specticle then winning or having winning players and coaches. That explains the lack of of moves to pick up good players by his staff. Also, when your building has a tenant you don't honor one of their rivals in their building. Today's Gator fest is an insult to Hurricane fans and players in my opinion.
Finally if we keep any form of current ownership and/or management/coaches the team will probably screw up the draft and we will either not get Luck or when he gets here he will fittingly suck like we did to get him in the first place. There is no guarentee he will be great if we get him. You never know what other QB might turn out to be a star. Until we have the right leadership to figure that out we will continue to suck.
I never thought in my 30 years of being a fan I would see this team be this bad. All the pride and history is long gone. Who is gonna have the balls and brains to bring it back?
Posted by: Scott | October 23, 2011 at 06:07 PM
Exactly !!!!!!! THE WHOLE FREAKING WORLD KNEW TEBOW WAS GONNA RUN IT !!!!!! OH EXCEPT NOLAN AND THE DOLPHINS
Posted by: johnsdolphins | October 23, 2011 at 06:08 PM
I knew the 2 pt. play was coming, too. And I'm of a completely different species.
Posted by: Cardisoma guanhumi | October 23, 2011 at 06:09 PM
Yea, but even if Luck forces a trade not to come here Miami will get more 1st & 2nd round picks out of it. Luck is not the only highly rated qb possibly coming out.
Posted by: Turd Ferguson | October 23, 2011 at 06:10 PM
I didn't think this team could get any worse...I was wrong. I'm still in shock. The Dolphins set a new standard for sucking today. If this team was Japanese, they'd all kill themselves.
Posted by: Lucadawg | October 23, 2011 at 06:13 PM
You know the last touchdown could have been avoided if Marlon Moore recovers the onside kick.He leaped had it got hit fumbled.
Posted by: robert | October 23, 2011 at 06:14 PM
Thank god we don't play the Rams this year because losing to John Beck and AJ Feeley in the same 0-16 year...
This team couldn't beat Georgia Tech right now
Posted by: Eran | October 23, 2011 at 06:14 PM
Stop going to the games Jerk offs
Posted by: MIke | October 23, 2011 at 06:15 PM
How in Gods name do any of them still have jobs!!!!!!
Posted by: Mitch | October 23, 2011 at 06:16 PM
WAIT SCOT!!! IM AGAINST ROSS FOR SOME THINGS BUT THE FACT IS HE THOUGHT THIS STAFF WAS GOING TO SUCCEED AND WIN GAMES HE HIRED THEM WITH THE THOUGHT THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING SO THEN HE TOOK ACTION TO TRY TO BETTER THE ATMOSPHERE AND EVERYTHING ELSE TO ADD TO IT!!! SO I DON'T BLAME ROSS YET!!!! BUT IF HE KEEPS IRELAND AND DOESN'T CHANGE THE GM AND THE STAFF AFTER THIS YEAR THEN I BLAME HIM COMPLETELY!!!IRELAND HAS TO GO !!!! Get a coach who can be coach and GM do he can get the players and coach them!!! IRELAND GETS MEDIOCER GUYS AND MAKES THE COACHES CREATE GREAT PLAYERS WITH THEM
Posted by: johnsdolphins | October 23, 2011 at 06:18 PM
I am assembling a petition to stop this from happening

Has Sparano been fired by now?
Posted by: Robert | October 23, 2011 at 06:20 PM
WOW. HOW BAD DO WE SUCK? TIMMY JESUS BEATS US FOR GOD'S SAKE. I'LL CONTRIBUTE TO THE MOVING VAN FOR SPARANO.
Posted by: Brian Dupree | October 23, 2011 at 06:23 PM
THIS TEAM IS GREAT AND I'LL FINALLY HAVE A QUARTERBACK TO CHEER FOR SINCE "GUS FORRETTE!"
YEAH! I SAID IT! GUS FORRETTE!!! Only Q.B we had since DAN THE MAN. Penny is a jet, i can't count that fluke year or him.
Ross made coach T a lame duck this season with that Harbaugh fiasco back in January or whenever it was at the beginning of 2011.
Thank you Ross!
SHUT THE HELL UP ABOUT FIRING TONY SPARANO!!!
I WANT THE 1ST PICK IN NEXT YEARS NFL DRAFT.
Pull for the Colts and Rams to get a win if you need to feel productive.
Posted by: Dolphono | October 23, 2011 at 06:24 PM
I wonder if Ross when he fires Tony will do a fist pump? that would be appropiate.
Posted by: robert | October 23, 2011 at 06:24 PM
Our coaching is just putrid. What kind coach would go for an unnecessary 2pt conversion? If he just kicked the PAT, we would have our 1st win. Sparano has lost this team. Also what made me throw up in my mouth besides the Fins collapse is Ross the owner chopping it up Urban Mayer while the team is in meltdown mode. Hey , Ross if you are interested to bringing & hanging with stars instead of putting a competitve product on the field, SELL THE TEAM!!!!
Posted by: bknyfinfan4life | October 23, 2011 at 06:25 PM
Denver was suppose to WIN it was Tim Tebow day.
Didn't our Owner celebrate his return to Florida and his collegiate championship?
Ross told Coach T to throw the game.

Any announcement of this franchise moving forward or
we continuing to march as the "cake walk" of the NFL ?
Dallas may be releasing Columbo's brother today.

PLEASE SHUT THE H.E.L.L UP! PLEASE!!!

CHEER THE LOSING THIS SEASON! YOU'LL FEEL A WHOLE LOT BETTER. I DO.
FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE, I HAVE EVER FELT GOOD BEING CALLED A "LOSER" BY loser jet fans. =)
