Dolphins taking 17-10 lead into 4th quarter

The Dolphins didn't collapse in the third quarter!

Actually, they increased their lead on a Dan Carpenter field goal.

So can they hold on? Is this the first Dolphins victory of the season?

Join me in the comments section as the live blog continues. We will find out together if Suck for Luck is dead.

I hate rooting for this team to lose but to get to the next level we need high draft picks and a completely new coaching staff. Another 7-9 or 8-8 season will not cut it. The enemy of great is good!

We aren't in suck for Luck mode, we just suck. Still can't see us winning a game.

A great effort....for about 3 quarters.

Unfortunately, football is 4 quarters long. This team doesn't give you a full game of football.

Effort without talent is empty. This team continues to fail in virtually every facet of the game. There is no area of the game anyone can honestly say this team excels in. It's way past time to blow this team up and start all over... ALL OVER. Too bad the owner doesn't have the guts, or give-a-crap, to do it.

Starting running back out with hamstring.
Starting left tackle playing injured.
Starting left guard out; Garner playin in his place.
Starting center goes out of game.
2nd string quarterback starting.
Starting cornerback out of game with injury. 7th round pick playing in his place.

And they didn't play with heart?!

The blame for this loss falls squarely on the shoulders of Matt Moore.

They played hard and their coach, for all his faults, is a better and more honorable human being than you will ever be.

Quite frankly, I'm OFF the "Suck for Luck" bandwagon for no other reason than I don;t want to be associated with a bunch of lazy, miserable, drunken oafs like a lot of you guys are.

Seriously, YOU are what sucks.

And I think it's awesome that Andrew Luck HIMSELF called you idiots.

lol, you Dolfans are such sad creatures. Actually debating whether or not to lose games. HAHAHA!

Moore is what is , the problem is Who brought him to miami
Ireland is a total idiot

Give up on the suck for luck stuff. The Colts are on a whole different level of sucking. We suck, but they REALLY suck!

I'm thinking they're a shoe-in for the first pick.

That bad interference call on Brandon I think was the final nail, who knows what happens after the 1st down that should have happend

and talent without effort is empty. I'd take football players anyday over divas. There is no place for anyone who is more concerned with their own personal agenda than they are with the team.

POOR BABY! DID SPARANO FIRE YOU AS HIS WATERBOY??? LOL!!!!

I would love to see Dansby punch Taylor in his Co$k Sucker. Taylor is a freaking traitor and I for one, wish he stayed a Jet. FU$% Taylor for leaving us. Screw him if he thinks he gets a spot in the Ring.
Another example of when Millionaire Players are all about themselves.

No the team absolutely did not play with heart. Who cares about the injuries all teams have those. Playing with heart requires the next man to step and and play to win. We have nothing at all positive about this team right now. They are the worst in the league and every week they find new ways to be worse than the week before.

Judy the reason there injured is BAD fisical workouts and every body knows

More pity comments from opposing coach, sad.

I cant wait to see the Post game Presser in the 5th quarter.

What's fist Pump going to say?

I hope he says I QUIT...

We just can't mantain the momentum. We clearly beat them in the 1st half. In the 2nd half, the Giants realized that they had to blitz Moore more, and they came. We couldn't handle it and we don't have the backups to replace a Mike Pouncey. So, that was it.

This was probably their best game all season against a tough opponent! Shame they couldn't at least tie it in the 4th.

i know we suck but do we have to suck with columbo. Hes going to get any QB killed

Great call by Brian Dabonehead on second and ten, no timeouts left, need to get at least a FG to tie, and he calls Reggie for an inside run and we're deep in our end of the field to boot.

I'm sorry but I see that as a flagrant attempt to lose the game, that was not a call a competent OC would make when the game is on the line and they are actually trying to win it.

And once again our OL plays their absolute worst at the most critical juncture of the game. Oh and has Moore ever heard of throwing it away when the pressure is too much?

After watching this I'm convinced this coaching staff is tanking it.

Seriously Jim and others, what possible good comes from winning a few games now, more mediocrity, out of draft position to do anything to change things ( franchise QB), is that what you really want? Personally I hate rooting to lose but it's the only way things will change in Miami unfortunately it is so obvious!

Ireland total idiot , but he goes home with millions on the bank

Hind sight

Mortgaging the future to move up and get Cam Newton.

Many Fins thought he wasn't worth moving up in the draft to get him because of his spread offense background. So far he's averaging the most passing yards for any rookie in NFL history.

I wonder if Ireland made the Pathers an offer for their first pick?

Fist Pump is speaking LIVE on the 5th quarter.

what game did you watch?

As i said ,

0-7 after today. But everyone still keeps there job.

Unreal.

Does it really matter? All of the games are the same. Get a lead, and collpase.

LMAO! "The Dolphins didn't collapse in the third quarter!"

Mando, you knew you were a quarter too early.
Dolphins ALWAYS collapse in the 4th dude.

ALL the personnel in that OL will get hurt before the Season ends. That is a shame and we might lose valuable players forever. It's time to raise the white flag, Tony.

The bottom line is that every team plays through injuries. They overcome adversity and win. This team doesn't have a winning mentatlity, b/c it knows it's not capable of winning. The last two weeks they've had a lead in the 4th quarter. They KNEW it wasn't going to last. Why? They have a losing mentality. Maybe it's true that this team doesn't suck.. There are just 31 teams that are better than they are.

Well really what is Luck going to say, I heard about it and I love it, come on.

The Dolphins play in the CFL.......Can't Finish League.

why no screen passes, draws, reverses? we are so predictable. Daboll should take a walk too.

Luck came within a whisker of being beaten by an unranked team last night. Just how lucky is he? The Fins will get him and, predictably, he will suck.

Ireland's acorns and other bad selections should get him fired.

The question is when?

I wonder if Sparano and Ireland have any "poison pill" in their contracts that will pay them some crazy amount if fired during the regular season (versus after the season)?

Really, navydolfan? Sparano has ruined Jake Long, probably forever. Others on the way.

I still root for Miami to win...and it still hurts when they lose. Heartbreaking again to seemingly have the game in hand and then collapse.

Did you hear Andrew Luck call YOU "stupid?"

He did.

Sorry if it hurts.

Moron.

Poor Jim. Sparano won't be giving him any more back-rubs after the season. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

they are unranked not because they are a bad team, they are actually very good. so that is a dumb statement. the reason why stanford won is because they are a better team than usc is. that's it.

Will you resign now, Tony Sparano? Will you fire Tony, Ross? People are getting hurt by your inaction.

As sad as it is to say, the only thing that I am confident of nowadays is that as long as a game has four quarters, the Dolphins will find a way to lose.

i hope no one truly believed the suckphins were going to win.

The only reason why I wouldn't is to avoid paying out any severance that might be due him for being fired.

Rams beat N. O., now if we can get the Colts to win.

The Dolphins lose on "porpoise"

Excellent Dolphan

It was clear to me. They showed they can beat them and then stop playing so they can get Lucky

Will Allen for Dancing with the Stars anyone?
Did a lovely pirouette for their winning score.

Taxi for Mr Sparano!!

Let us keep the spirits and hopes highs. Sparano is still hoping to win in any Sunday game and the Dolphin secondary to get better and start working in closing all the shown defensive gaps.

Bill Parcells ----- what a con man! Conned 2 owners into thinking he knew what he was doing. He has turned 2 teams into pathetic jokes. I envy him ---- he has made several million dollars of income with a lot of BS. ESPN should have him analyze tackling dummies.
