The Dolphins are leading the New York Giants 7-3 to start the second quarter.
No, this is not April Fools. It is not a misprint.
The Fins held New York on fourth down to end its first series of the game and held again on third down to force a field goal on the second drive.
The Dolphins have a TD run by Steve Slaton.

Marc-
No one is suggesting that the players should intentionally tank. That IS ridiculous.
This is strictly a fan-based movement. No cooperation is being requested from the team in any way.
I played football, basketball and baseball from 6th grade through high school and I would never expect a coach or player to Suck on purpose for any reason.
But as a fan, I recognize that the team will be better off if we manage to get the 1st pick in the draft so we can select the best QB prospect in 20 years.

YES!!! WE NEED LUCK!!!!

I am not jittery with excitement as the Dolphins lead this.......I now the cold hard facts are Tony Sparano is formulating his halftime adjustments as we speak....I will not be lulled into a false sense of Dolphin pride

ALMOST THERE, G-MEN!!!!

Holy crap Jimmy Wilson keeps getting BURNED....
Posted by: Chase | October 30, 2011 at 02:21 PM
Ugh.
Posted by: Sandoval | October 30, 2011 at 02:21 PM
Why wouldn't they put WILL ALLEN at RCB or LCB?!
Posted by: Marc | October 30, 2011 at 02:21 PM
Ron Wolf for years and years would draft quarterbacks and turn them into draft picks later on after a little development. They were like a savings account with high interest for him.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | October 30, 2011 at 02:21 PM
Still a great half!!
Posted by: bobbyd12 | October 30, 2011 at 02:21 PM
Armando,
If I were gm, even if I got Luck, I would double down with Kellen Moore in rd2. For some reason I think Moore lasts top of the 2nd rd like Brees did.
Doubling down with Luck and Moore gives potential future 1st rd trade value with Kellen Moore. The way our luck has gone the past decade, drafting a qb 1st and 2nd rd, would be absolutely brilliant!

Damn. There goes my back-rub after the game.
Posted by: bobbyd12 | October 30, 2011 at 02:22 PM
Poor Jimmy. Give him time before we start hating.
On a brighter note... the regime's Vontae Davis choice is paying dividends again this year... no?
Posted by: Arnsy | October 30, 2011 at 02:22 PM
Can this D ever come up with a Turnover... One clutch stop from time to time would be nice..
Posted by: Chase | October 30, 2011 at 02:22 PM
You can only burn Jimmy Wilson so many times before someone's gonna get shot
Posted by: SoiledBottom | October 30, 2011 at 02:22 PM
Perfect even got fantasy points on that 1!!
Posted by: blazzin ace | October 30, 2011 at 02:22 PM

Posted by: Mark | October 30, 2011 at 02:23 PM
Haha, don't worry imposter, your boyfriend will still go down on you
Posted by: bobbyd12 | October 30, 2011 at 02:23 PM
this is another prime example of even when miami looks good, THEY will still find ways to look incredibly bad
This is why WE must have an Overhual after this season....
WE MUST SUCK FOR CHANGE!!!
Posted by: superPHIN | October 30, 2011 at 02:23 PM
well at least we get the ball first in the second half
Posted by: nyfinfan | October 30, 2011 at 02:24 PM
Problem with Weeden is there isn't much time to develop him before he's ready to retire.
Posted by: Chris in the 623 | October 30, 2011 at 02:24 PM
You people actually rooting for the dolphins to lose are just horrible HORRIBLE fans. Theres no f r icken way that i could root against them and i want Luck as much as the next guy.
Posted by: Chase | October 30, 2011 at 02:24 PM
Im very proud of the fight our outmanned Dolphins have put up in the 1st half. Win or lose today I commend them for that!
Posted by: yesterday's gone | October 30, 2011 at 02:25 PM
You will never get a turnover with this secondary. You have to within a mile of the reciever for that to happen and these corners are in the parking lot
Posted by: Ken | October 30, 2011 at 02:25 PM
The old Miami Dolphins Knee with time on the clock....Brilliant....
Posted by: kris | October 30, 2011 at 02:25 PM
Rams 10 NO 0!
Titans 13 Colts 0

Seriously you all that are rooting against the dolphins for the purpose of luck are no d amn better then the jets fans that come on here just to talk crap
Posted by: Chase | October 30, 2011 at 02:26 PM
OK. We outplayed them in the first half. The second half, we have to mantain momentum and counteract the adjustments the Giants are going to make.

Root to lose in order to get rid of Idiots like Ireland...coaches that dont have backbones like sparano....YOUr DAMN RIGHT BUDDY,
You go ahead and root for the status qoute all u want...but I choose to look at losing as a cause for WINNING in the future.....do what u will
Posted by: superPHIN | October 30, 2011 at 02:28 PM
Even Vince Lombardi... ultimate team coach ... knew that all players on the team are NOT equal... QBs are key.
This football truism always bothered him.
But it's a fact. To win at football you need an elite QB. They make up for deficiencies elsewhere.
Posted by: Arnsy | October 30, 2011 at 02:28 PM
This would be a great year to pull the 1-2 double QB draft idea.
There are a LOT of really good QB's set to be drafted this year. Wouldn't be surprised to see some 2nd rounders develop into quality starters.
Trade bait savings account. I love it. We need some clever modern-thinking in our organization.
Posted by: finsfan72 | October 30, 2011 at 02:28 PM
Jimmy Wilson doesn't have a prayer covering those receiers. Too inexperienced.
Posted by: oscar canosa | October 30, 2011 at 02:29 PM
superPhin what happens happens. If your a true dolphin fan no fricken way could you actually root against them. Get outta here
Posted by: Chase | October 30, 2011 at 02:29 PM
Is there any doubt that Indy is going to get Andrew luck? They are about to go 0-8. It's a good century to be an Indy fan

Rams are winning! Cards are winning! (hmmm St. Louis AND the Cardinals are winning - the World Series ghost is helping the SFL Cause thus far!)

Outmanned? Not on that first half.
Posted by: oscar canosa | October 30, 2011 at 02:31 PM
The Colts are milking this season with Manning.
I believe very soon you will all see something official come out with a Colt conspiracy which unfolds that Manning can play but the colts wish to keep him out and milk the medical crap.
Manning will not be a Colt next season if they draft Andrew Luck. Look for Manning to potentially become the next Dolphin QB.
Just say -in.

30 minutes left folks. The Fins always find a way to lose since Ireland and the buffoons came to town.
