Hey, lookie, lookie, Dolphins lead NYG in 2nd quarter

The Dolphins are leading the New York Giants 7-3 to start the second quarter.

No, this is not April Fools. It is not a misprint.

The Fins held New York on fourth down to end its first series of the game and held again on third down to force a field goal on the second drive.

The Dolphins have a TD run by Steve Slaton.

No one is suggesting that the players should intentionally tank. That IS ridiculous.

This is strictly a fan-based movement. No cooperation is being requested from the team in any way.

I played football, basketball and baseball from 6th grade through high school and I would never expect a coach or player to Suck on purpose for any reason.

But as a fan, I recognize that the team will be better off if we manage to get the 1st pick in the draft so we can select the best QB prospect in 20 years.

I am not jittery with excitement as the Dolphins lead this.......I now the cold hard facts are Tony Sparano is formulating his halftime adjustments as we speak....I will not be lulled into a false sense of Dolphin pride

Ron Wolf for years and years would draft quarterbacks and turn them into draft picks later on after a little development. They were like a savings account with high interest for him.

If I were gm, even if I got Luck, I would double down with Kellen Moore in rd2. For some reason I think Moore lasts top of the 2nd rd like Brees did.

Doubling down with Luck and Moore gives potential future 1st rd trade value with Kellen Moore. The way our luck has gone the past decade, drafting a qb 1st and 2nd rd, would be absolutely brilliant!

This football truism always bothered him.

But it's a fact. To win at football you need an elite QB. They make up for deficiencies elsewhere.

This would be a great year to pull the 1-2 double QB draft idea.

There are a LOT of really good QB's set to be drafted this year. Wouldn't be surprised to see some 2nd rounders develop into quality starters.

Trade bait savings account. I love it. We need some clever modern-thinking in our organization.

The Colts are milking this season with Manning.

I believe very soon you will all see something official come out with a Colt conspiracy which unfolds that Manning can play but the colts wish to keep him out and milk the medical crap.

Manning will not be a Colt next season if they draft Andrew Luck. Look for Manning to potentially become the next Dolphin QB.
