Reggie Bush has a neck injury and his return is questionable.
Sean Smith is also out of the game because he has cramps. His return is questionable.
It is also questionable the Dolphins can mount a comeback against the Jets, as they trail 17-6.
Let's see if the can.

Sporano's interview text from tomorrow..."Okay we showed some really good effort last night, okay. Okay, the defense played really well in the first half, okay, but got a little tired in the second half, okay, because the offense struggled a little, okay. Then Reggie got hurt okay in the third quarter okay and that really hurt us okay. I've told my guys to forget the Jets okay and think about Denver okay." Reporters response to that will be "okay".

Posted by: Steve | October 17, 2011 at 11:01 PM
I have never seen a professional team give up quite as obvious as this
Posted by: CreteJohn | October 17, 2011 at 11:01 PM
Feed the Deer!Ross just vomited all over Carl Peterson. Pathetic. And why didnt Tony try for something at the end of the half w one time out left. He is a gutless meatball, maybe we should make Tony Jr quality controller extordinaire acting head coach.
Posted by: Bootris | October 17, 2011 at 11:01 PM
souless team!!!
i remember tony saying: this is gonna be an amazing season!!.. im very excited!!!

Posted by: sagneul | October 17, 2011 at 11:02 PM
Panthers scored 7. Pressure is on Phins. Don't get beat by a hockey team.
Posted by: Turd Ferguson | October 17, 2011 at 11:02 PM
We have such poor execution Marshall didnt even get himself kicked out of the game.
Posted by: sevensharp | October 17, 2011 at 11:02 PM

WHEN THE JETS FINALLY FIGURE OUT MIAMI HAS QUIT. THEY'LL SCORE FAR MORE POINTS!
Posted by: yesterday's gone | October 17, 2011 at 11:03 PM
Lol I hope we lose the rest of our games! There I said it
Posted by: DKM | October 17, 2011 at 11:03 PM
BRING IN ROSENFELS!
Posted by: Swamy | October 17, 2011 at 11:03 PM
There is one thing I can tell you for sure. The Jets will go 0-3 the next 3 games. You can put money on it. They are not a good team.
Posted by: Akguy | October 17, 2011 at 11:03 PM
Be a man, Armando. Or find a buddy in the press corps who will hold this fraud of a coaching team accountable.
Posted by: Angry Elf | October 17, 2011 at 11:03 PM
6 more field goals and we go into OT. FIST PUMP!
Posted by: finsfan72 | October 17, 2011 at 11:03 PM
I'm not going to write anything else. This is too sad the coach has quit. It's just too embarrassing.
Posted by: VENOM | October 17, 2011 at 11:03 PM
I actually couldnt stand to watch anymore of this debacle. Was a trip when all 8 commentators picked the Jets. This may be a low point of the franchise. Trade Marshall asap because he is all hat, no cattle.
Posted by: Bootris | October 17, 2011 at 11:03 PM
Feed the dear!! LMAO
Posted by: sevensharp | October 17, 2011 at 11:03 PM
Understatement of the night. It's going to be a long 11 games for Miami fans
Posted by: vx-jeff | October 17, 2011 at 11:03 PM
Sparano couldn't throw the flag... His mind is somewhere else...he knows this is it.
Posted by: Bkaczor1 | October 17, 2011 at 11:03 PM
Ok, I can't do this anymore. At some point we have to stop punishing ourselves with this BS. Goodnight everyone, sorry we are Dolphins fans. Ross, fix it or get the he'll out.
Posted by: woody5077 | October 17, 2011 at 11:04 PM
Not that it really matters... But the refs did a piss poor job tonite.
1) missed an obvious pass IF on Revis which led to a TD.
2) there is absolutely no way that they should have been able to overturn that Catch by marshall. It looked to me that both there hands were under it. IT DEFINATELY wasnt 100% conclusive
3) Although the game was pretty much over. There was a clear block in the back that led to the Santonio TD. Clear as it gets
Posted by: Chase | October 17, 2011 at 11:04 PM
Burnett's play on that last score sums up the season so far.
Posted by: Chris in the 623 | October 17, 2011 at 11:04 PM
Brandon fields is the only reason the game is this close. We blow goats! Andrew luck start looking for real estate in south Florida now.
Posted by: buckeyephinfan | October 17, 2011 at 11:04 PM
Odrik, another one of our wonderful 1st round wasted picks. Who the hell does the scouting for our team??? Stevie Wonder?
Posted by: vince from canada | October 17, 2011 at 11:04 PM
By the way to all the Moore fans: ..|.,
Not that Henne is much better but he was at least better; we all knew Moore sucked. If you wanted change make it positive, not another Joey harrington.
Posted by: MiamiD20 | October 17, 2011 at 11:04 PM
THIS IS THE WORST DOLPHINS TEAM EVER AND THAT INCLUDES THE 1-15 SEASON AT LEAST THAT YEAR THEY FOUGHT HARD, I AM TELLING YOU WE MAY GO 0-16 AND WE GOT SOME DOGS COMING UP, JEFF IRELAND AND TONY SHOULD BE FIRED FOR THE TEAM THEY PUT TOGETHER AND PARCELLS SHOULD GIVE HIS MONEY BACK
Posted by: scott from delaware | October 17, 2011 at 11:04 PM
'76 Bucs, '07 Lions, '11 Dolphins. I wonder if Ross will cry like the last owner the next time they win a game in 2012.
Posted by: THE BRA1N | October 17, 2011 at 11:04 PM
I POSTED IN A BLOG TODAY I8 DIDNT SEE MIAMI SCORING 10PTS THIS GAME. IM EMBARRASSED THEYVE PROVEN ME CORRECT!

Posted by: SOD | October 17, 2011 at 11:05 PM
Now that New York has the "Occupy Wall Street" protests, how long before Miami has the "Vacate Sun Life Stadium" protests?
Posted by: riosaddles | October 17, 2011 at 11:05 PM
Mr Ross says Tony Tony he's my man, if he can't get me Luck, no one can!!!!!!!
Posted by: suckforluck | October 17, 2011 at 11:05 PM
So two weeks to prep and we can score 6 points. Does that mean we score 3 points next game? What do you fix first? Everything is broken.
Posted by: Calgaryfinfan | October 17, 2011 at 11:05 PM
No sh*t Bootris, that was unreal, u get a 1st down at mid field and u let the clock run out on purpose, what league do these phins think they are in?????

Kris, Craig M, DC Dolphan, Dying Breed? Crickets....What gives?
Posted by: TAO | October 17, 2011 at 11:06 PM
Now we know why Denver was really willing to trade Marshall.
I remember many were against him being a Fin others said let's give him a chance.
Now what?
Posted by: Swamy | October 17, 2011 at 11:06 PM
While the odds are it will be Packers and Patriots in the Super Bowl, we couldn't beat the Rams in the Toilet Bowl!
Just think about it everyone. This team had 2 weeks to prepare, no flee flickers, no double reverse, no nothing. Face it, this team you see on the field is a direction reflection of coach preparation!
Clap at that Sporano!!!
Posted by: finzfan | October 17, 2011 at 11:06 PM
Feed the Fairy.
Posted by: Mr. Bing | October 17, 2011 at 11:07 PM
This team is significantly worse than the 1 - 15 team of 2007.
Posted by: OHdolfan | October 17, 2011 at 11:07 PM
Fire sparano and go the rest of the year without a head coach......we haven't had one in two years anyway!!!!
Posted by: Frankie White | October 17, 2011 at 11:07 PM
Can we forfeit the rest of the season , fire the whole team and just start completely over next year !!!
Posted by: fool737 | October 17, 2011 at 11:07 PM
Just 7 more fist pumps and we win!!!
Posted by: fists of fury | October 17, 2011 at 11:07 PM
Just 7 more fist pumps and we win!!!
Posted by: fists of fury | October 17, 2011 at 11:07 PM
well, its obvious sparano has quit. they weren't prepared, and gruden just said as much.
Posted by: austin | October 17, 2011 at 11:07 PM
Fan poll, who thinks Ross should fire Sparano? Hopefully he reads and does some soul searching.
Posted by: d-dense | October 17, 2011 at 11:08 PM
Does this mean we have to rebuilt all over again
Posted by: abe odeh | October 17, 2011 at 11:08 PM
My God...this is so pathetic. The worst QB play in the NFL. Man I can only hope there is light in the tunnel. Ive been a fan for 38 yrs but this is painful. This team needs a fresh start. Cut bait and move on, running out the clock at the end of the half clinched it for me. No heart from the staff, week 5 and the season is over, what a proud franchise this used to be but no more. Im goin to bed...goodnite Dolfans...
Posted by: catfinfan@yahoo.com | October 17, 2011 at 11:08 PM
If you enjoy punting, you cannot miss a Phins game!!! I think our punter can make it to the Pro Bowl. Let's hope Sparano is not fired so our can keep on punting so well, and at same time Sucking for Luck! Go Phins!!!

My God.
Posted by: vince from canada | October 17, 2011 at 11:08 PM
Since Stephen Ross is contributing the devaluation of the Dolphins and by extension the NFL brand as a whole, what are the chances the NFL would assume full ownership of the team similar to how the NBA took over the New Orleans Hornets?
Posted by: riosaddles | October 17, 2011 at 11:08 PM
blow for barkley!
Posted by: SOD | October 17, 2011 at 11:08 PM
