Stephen Ross: No coaching change now

Another Dolphins game.

Another loss -- this one a 20-17 loss to the New York Giants.

Following the game, Miami Herald report Barry Jackson asked owner Stephen Ross if a change is coming. It is a weekly post-game ritual now as the Dolphins are 0-7 on the season.

"No,' Ross replied.

So into next week the Dolphins go. They travel to Kansas City next week.

You seen him play? Guy lights up the scoreboard like no other. Yeah Luck is better overall, but if its Barkley vs. Moore, no question i go for Kellen. I also agree with Moneyman, he just has a more confident swag than Barkley. Gotta have that in a franchise QB. Don't see that in Barkley. He seems to me like he could easily get rattled.

The last great thing to come out of USC was OJ Simpson.....Just sayin'....

Red sky,
People hate Tim Teboe, people hate Florida.
People dislike Kellen Moore, people dislike Boise State.
Not a Florida fan, not a Boise State fan but ....
I like people who have the "it" factor and no how to win.
Do I need to say Montana.

top 3?? ur insane. guy can be had in the 2nd or third rd. he never plays anyone .

really? and whens the last even mediocre qb from boise st?? lol come on man

uh moneyman, tebow is a horrible nfl player

There are plenty of unemployed Americans looking to take the first job they can have. Anyone of them would be better than Fat Tony at this point.

yes luck but i want a good coach. find an up and comer like mccarthy or payton. need a good offense

Dusty Bottoms,
Tell me the sat QB to play at USC that won anything that became a franchise QB in the NFL?
Just asking?
If you dislike or hate Tim Tebow, that is your HO but is by far better than anyone we currently have on staff, IMHO, including Henne.
Sorry.

QB: Torretta
RB: OJ Simpson
HC: Dave Wannstedt
GM: Bill Parcells

What could go wrong?

I would love to see Luck come to Miami. But I really don't see this team going 0-16. The Raiders are the weak link in our schedule, and someone will more than likely have a colapse against us. The Colts however, are so back they would find a way to lose to themselves in a scrimage. I think the 1975 0-16 Bucs could win against this team.

hilarious, what are u talking about moneyman. did u watch tebow today? that guy is awful, worst qb by far in nfl. and i know usc qbs have sucked for most part. im simply saying i can say the samething about boise st. luck is by far the best qb but colts will probaly get him. so barkley or jones or even foles can really help us. i like barkley the most of the 3

When will IRELAND take the podium and answer questions like a MAN !!!! ROSS tell your do boy to take the stand !!!

Colts are tanking it on purpose. They know Peyton is finished. Guaranteed that they go 0-16. I fear we will probably sneak in a win somewhere along the line, but who knows, gotta hope for the "best".

peyton is not finished he stil has 5 good years

colts will win least one game , say home vs jacksonville or carolina. but no way more than one. we will prob beat oakland and washington. washington is horrible. so i think we win 2 to colts one

You should watch The Tree of Life, frame by frame.

peyton isnt finished, maybe 3 good years left. probaly be a favre-rodgers situation

tree of life SUCKED BALLS

That neck injury he has is serious business. I don't think he'll last too long before he's forced to retire. One hit and that's it.

Dusty Bottoms,
Do not disagree that we may not get Luck but we need a franchise QB not a a good college QB.
If Barkley is better than Jones, Moore or RG III so be it.
It is just the history of USC QB that scares me a little bit if you follow.
I do not have knowledge of Boise State QB in the NFL, please educate me.

Jeff Ireland drafts Luck and trades him to the Cowboys for Tony Romo. The Cowboy saga continues!

No way the Colts beat Carolina. Cam will smoke that D. Jacksonville is the only plausibility, but its still a long shot. I just can't believe they're that bad. Its gotta be intentional.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit. This franchise is at the bottom of the barrel.

Miss me now, huh?

Not completely sopld on RGIII. He began the season like a house afire. The Last 2 games he has seemed much more mortal.

He's seeming more like a bad trip to Vegas. First you win a million, then lose it right back. Still need to see far more from RGIII before declaring him worthy of anything.

He could be the type of nfl qb that wins you 8 games in a row then lose rhe final 8 games in row. Right now I would take Kellen Moore over RGIII until he shows his hot early start was not an abberration.

Certainly we knew.

no boise st qb has ever done a thing in the nfl. and rg3 is not even on kipers top 10 qbs and falling quickly

A Plurality is Two.

Losers. Still arguing about a franchise QB. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA....

griffin falling into 2nd or third rd. only 3 qbs with scout ratings over 90. luck is 99, jones is 95 and barkley is 91

u can mark it down right now 100 percent one of those 3 qbs is our starting qb next year

Out of here.
Thanks for the talk.
Nothing meant by my humble opinions, Dusty Bottoms.
Just care too much and this season is starting to make me not care.
How do you care for a team that has zero org, zero coaches and players that only care about how many millions they make.
Something has truly changed. For the good or for what?

Dusty bottoms, truth be told, I think Kellen Moore drops to 2nd rd. Still I believe he has the tools and potential to be the next Drew Brees.

Don't give up! We can still win the next 9 games!

Jetty,

You guys should still be arguing about a franchise qb too. You're dumber than you think if you think Mark Sanchez is one.

Mark Sanchez is only a glorified care-taker qb. Nothing more.

no way on moore being brees, lets be real. we draft one of the big 3. hire a entire new staff and start the turn around. for now just keep on losing for the better of this franchise in the future

We have always heard.

for now just keep on losing for the better of this franchise in the future

Posted by: dusty bottoms | October 30, 2011 at 10:28 PM

On that we agree.

Guys dont forget about Ok St's Russell Wilson. I believe he easily sneaks into at least bottom 1st rd.

@ Moneyman13 Henne will not be resigned. His days in a Dolphins uniform are done.

whos russel wilson? u mean weedon?

I wonder how many Jets fans will occupy Dolphin/Sun Life/Land Shark/Land Fill/Whatever stadium at the end of the year? Can't imagine too many fishies in attendance that day. Hell, Greasy Tony might not even be there, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA......

dusty bottoms:

#1 I didnt say Kellen Moore is the nexr Drew Brees. I said he has the tools and potential to be the next Drew Brees. The greatest knock on him right now is his 6'0 size, just like Brees. That's what made Brees last until the 2nd rd too.

#2 We aint drafting a 2nd rd qb 1st rd anyway. So you have nothing to fear from Kellen Moore. We would draft Russell Wilson 1st rd long before Moore.

If were going to get andrew luck the colts need to a couple of games. They will take him I don't care who says different especially if they promote jim tressell to head coach which is a very real possibility. Tressell likes to call his own plays and Peyton wont hand over power. Polian saw the train wreck here when a new head coach clashes with a superstar qb who had his run of the land down in Miami over a decade ago. They'll draft luck and cut ties with manning and move on to greener pastures.

Do-not-search.

dusty bottoms, my bad, Brandon Weedon's the qb Im thinking of.

You all go on and on about Luck like fat women with acne discussing nail polish. Get over it and move on.

What we need is a hunk for a QB. Maybe Moore if he gets ripped. Love to see the muscles on him.

Big dick. Lots of guys in the locker room, Armando. Nice. Towel-snapping rocks my socks.

It is the most beautiful Movie I have ever seen, or imagine.

So beautiful. So cute. Sexy. Fresh and cute. Nice.

Every frame. So wonderful. Its divine.

When drafting a Q.B. you just never know who will hit or miss in the NFL in large part because they are either to lazy or imature to handle the fame and money. I like Luck though because I watch him play calling out the audibles and switches at the line and it gives me a certain sense of dejavu of Payton Manning back in Tennessee. I really don`t feel that with the talent I saw on that Stanford team with their leaky D that they would even be a .500 team without Luck.

In watching the game between them and USC Sat. night I got the impression he will be a player in the NFL on his smarts alone and physically he has it as well. I will say that before you ask who the USC Franchise Q.B.`s have been remember that Palmer, Leinert and Sancheez all played on semi-pro teams. This kid Barkely was out there with a true freshmen at RB and both WR spots so it makes sense that they ran wrong routes or broke alot of them off and I watched him match Luck pretty much all game with that handicap, so in that capacity I won`t dismiss Barkely as another USC prodigy of a system and talent but just maybe a solid prospect and he has all the arm in the world as well.

not atraid, not afraid. The Tree has many branches, and many roots.

Nick Foles from Arizona is a possibility if the Dolphins win a couple of games and don't get Luck. The Colts seem to be losing on purpose they look lifeless. AJ Feely beat the Saints today go figure did not see that coming.
