The Redskins are not going away -- despite pleas by people who love watching great football asking them otherwise.
The Dolphins got themselves a shot Dan Carpenter field goal but he missed on a 49-yarder. (Don't you hate good fist-pumping opportunities being wasted?)
Anyway, let me introduce to you Washington's best offensive weapon: Graham Gano. The kicker. He's got two FGs so far. He missed one.
This is a barn-burner!
The live blog continues in the comments section. Join me there as we continue to burn the barn.

I understand some of you are upset about the Dolphins finishing the half by basically giving up with 1:10 to play.
Truth is, Matt Moore's accuracy is so far not sharp today. He is just as likely to throw an INT as a TD.
And if he did that, you guys would want people fired.

Posted by: nyfinfan | November 13, 2011 at 02:45 PM
Watch the Dolphins run the ball for the rest of the game now...So predictable...
Posted by: #1 Dolphin Fan in Montreal | November 13, 2011 at 02:45 PM
dear armando,
sparano is going to be fired anyway..so he should always coach like he has nothing to lose.
Posted by: austin | November 13, 2011 at 02:46 PM

Exactly Austin
Posted by: PhinFan4Life | November 13, 2011 at 02:46 PM
Both Matt Moore and Mark Columbo seem to be getting worse as the game wears on. 10pts maybe it for our scoring today.
We may need a defensive score to eek out a win today.
Posted by: yesterday's gone | November 13, 2011 at 02:46 PM
Mando,
We want people fired anyway, so I dont understand the logic of not trying....WERE 1-7 FOR gods sakes.....you expecting playoffs this year??*LOL*

Posted by: #1 Dolphin Fan in Montreal | November 13, 2011 at 02:47 PM
Sparano is such a great guy, he wants to secure the best possible pick in the draft for the dolphins, even if he is gonna be fired

Posted by: David | November 13, 2011 at 02:50 PM
Oh, and when the Dolphins lose this game on a last second field goal we will all debate the missed opportunities by the Dolphins AND want the coach fired on Monday.
Posted by: dbmfins | November 13, 2011 at 02:50 PM
Mando,
WE need an article of the logic behind timeouts and why miami even are allowed to have them....
Posted by: superPHIN | November 13, 2011 at 02:50 PM
I'm just explaining the strategy.
Frankly, I don't have a lot of confidence they could accomplish anything anyway.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | November 13, 2011 at 02:51 PM
LOL! Fail. Just Fail.

False start after a timeout...LOL!!!
Posted by: #1 Dolphin Fan in Montreal | November 13, 2011 at 02:51 PM
Since Moore is a mobile QB, why no pocket movement at all? I agree with the FOX people. The Redskins are missing key players and we still can't sustain a drive.
Posted by: nyfinfan | November 13, 2011 at 02:51 PM
false start out a T.O. arghhhhhhhhh!
Posted by: nyfinfan | November 13, 2011 at 02:52 PM
I miss seeing bess this yr
Posted by: Ruben | November 13, 2011 at 02:52 PM
Not a wasted timeout. Matt Moore saw Bryan Arapo lined up on the same side as Ryan Kerrigan.
Columbo hasnt had an answer for the rookie Kerrigan pass rushing all day, now you have Arapo lined up next to him too.
Matt Moore saw injured reserve waiting to happen. Good timeout Moore!

Why not more of D BEss?
Posted by: PhinFan4Life | November 13, 2011 at 02:52 PM
