Fins escort Bills to woodshed, administer whipping

This was a complete victory as the 35-8 score suggests.

The defense extended its streak of quarters without allowing a touchdown to 12. The offense rolled up four TDs in the first half to make this a walk before the second half was played. Matt Moore threw three touchdown passes and had a 133.3 rating.

And the special teams got a blocked punt and touchdown when Lex Hilliard recoverd a block in the end zone.

Complete.

Total.

Stampede of Buffalo.

The Dolphins have won three consecutive game. They are 3-7. They travel to Dallas to play the Cowboys on Thanksgiving.

agree with kris, he deserves another year, reid has been great

u mean other than loria saying there was zero chance that reid would be fired? said it right on nfl netwrok. but we shall see craig

dusty,

You're also the gusy who said Sparano and Ireland would be gone at the end of last year, that Henne would never start a game in the NFL again and that Cowher was coming to town, so with all due respect, excuse me if I don't put a lot of stock in your predictions.

dusty,

'reid has been great'? Really?? Hey, I like the guy too but this is a team that has been a huge disappointment this year. They spent a ton of money in the offseason and they are only one game better than the team and coach you rip 20 times a day on here for being 'garbage'. I'm just not getting you man...

hope u dont craig, not my fault ross wanted them gone but harbaugh and COWHER turned us down. and u saw how much garbage henne was after miami tried to find anyone to take over for him. i underestimated how bad the franchise had become and nobody wanted to coach or play qb here so we got stuck with these clowns one more year. looks like my 4-12 prediction will be much closer than your playoff one nostra

agree on that roberst, very sad how bad his sons have messed up. i personally would love to have reid as coach

dr. roberts,

Good points. Yeah, I'm aware of the family problems he's had. Wow, you live in Philly, eh? Tough, tough sports town.....they ran McNabb out of town, Eric Lindros....you name it. Tough, tough sports fans. Surprised Reid has lasted this long without a championship. Not the most patient fans in the world. They'll have a mutiny on their hands if the Flyers don't do something this year.

Dr. Roberts....

Good inside info from Philly....I hadn 't considered many of the things you mentioned....including the "fan base" issue...

Its hard to imagine Philly fan base not being happy with Reid after all the success he has had.....but in retrospect....when I live in B'more....after every loss...the fan base calls for Flacco to be benched...and Harbaugh to be fired....so it passes the common snes test.....

Personal issues aside....I will stick with my prediction....and eat my crow....should the time come....

hilarious craig comparing tonny to andy ,unreal. reid 122-79, 2 losing seasons out of 12. 10 playoff wins. one nfc championship. tony 28-30 0 playoff wins 2 losing seasons out of 3. get real

no doubt roberts, i would love to get a coach who loves offense

dusty,

We're talking about THIS year. I live in the now, man....not the last ten years. Too many circumstances to consider when comparing these guys over the last ten years. I'm not saying Sparano is anything close to Reid as a coach, I'm saying based on this year Philly and Reid have been huge disappointments.

well ill agree with u there craig, reid and sparanos teams this year are awful. eagles are all but done and miami was done weeks ago. pathetic year by both

dr. roberts,

Give dusty a couple of years with Reid as head coach and he'll be ripping him as 'garbage', just like Sparano. There's an awful lot that goes into a coaches success or failures, including a franchsies stability, stability at the QB position and good drafting and FA signings. Philly have done well for the most part. I'm not advocating Sparano should stay, I'm just saying it's not ALL on the coach. Have one decent QB for TEN years can do a lot for a coaches success. It works the other way too, as we saw with Bellichick in Cleveland.

So many things to consider on a good Coach...organization, attention to detail, motivating the players and getting their due respect, Game planning, adjustments during It, sideline presence, good use of the clock, instant and sound decisions in tough spots during play..ad infinitum + the imponderables. Not easy, uh?

This team isn't awful, u guys r idiots. They lack leadership on 'the field and more importantly off, pure and simple. Denver has no qb so' it's more of a coach and gm thing

But then I've never agreed with Craig. I think he's a secret jets fan

inimounts,

What are we disagreeing with now? I don't think the team is awful either. I put most of the blame on Sparano and some of the blame on Ireland. Aren't we saying the same thing?

dr. roberts,

I like Philly as a city. Had lots of good times there. Haven't been to the new baseball stadium yet.

How did you end up a Dolphins fan and not an Eagles fan? They are rabid fans, for the most part.

Oh, inimounts and darkbottom need not answer, either.

mmm... yes, I didn't remember Greg Williams was HC for the Bills and was conservative also, I pick him only for his work with New Orleans. Excuses I got to think twice.

The guy who 100% resonsible when they WIN....and who has ZERO ownership when they lose....

Thats what we will call the HC postin now....

Kris,

I hope you don't embarass me and make me change my name for saying this, but ah, SpOrano doesn't have any ownership whether we win or lose. He's the Coach!

Ross is the OWNER-Sheesh.

(PS: I LIKE my name......)

dr. roberts,

Good man. I'm in Canada and for whatever reason gravitated to the Dolphins during the early Marino days. I'll never switch but I have a funny feeling if I'd grown up in Philly, I'd be an Eagles fan today. I like Philly because their fans are so passionate about their teams. Reminds me of Boston in that way.

3-8 is awful and thats our record.

dr. roberts, I think those Eagles fans are in Jersey!

Whomever comes here as a Coach will have probably the best nucleus of young Players in the League, and more to come.

ill be really fired up for next season with a new staff and a drafted qb. our schedule will be the usual div games and : away games vs houston, indy, seattle, san fran, kc home games vs cleveland, jacksonville, tenn, arizona, st louis. cake schedule like we had the year we won div last

Whomever thinks that Clyde Gates will be a failure, is wrong.

I wonder if the Dolphins have become so irrevelent that the Herald is considering disbanding the blog?

I wonder if this is some type of "experiment" to see if the blogger hits warrant operating costs?

I got this really suspicious feeling going on. Until I get an explaination from Armando...............?

PS: Oscar, why can't I answer your questions ?

Brady Hoke!

PSS: I did anyways...................

gates wont amount to much, most likely another wasted pick. maybe a good returner?

The Future of Blogs is uncertain. Comments out of context, $ for hits made on it...hmm. A shame, I will miss them.

Dolphins front office threatening the Harold to shut down it's Mondo blog as they are sick of all the rantings against management.

OR, the Harold has summed it up that they don't really need Mondo as the fans (blogger) are actually making more sense and seem to have more inside information then Mando does.

OR, with Mando doing his Amigo show, Mondo wants a new contract with the Harold as his head has swelled and the harold has suspended him for 7 days.

Side note on the Amigo show.. That "other dude" talks more then Mondo does and Mondo seems like he's slow on the input. perhaps it was a bad day for his show but he sucks.

OR, Sparano made Armando an offer he cant refuse.

Or, who really gives a rats ass why Armando was told to relax for 7 days.. After all, just like when Obama goes on vacation or the Senate or Congress, we are better off when they are away vs writing a bunch of dribble or droll.

Happy Thanksgiving all.

I see kris is posting under his name again. Welcome back kris. Be careful with that sensitive mouse now.

This is a new "OdInsider Segment".

(Or anyone else)

Kris,

It's fairly certain that SpOrano is DONE!

Most likely we will use our first pick on a QB. So for this series or questions, lets assume QB has been addressed.

Question:

1. What do you see as the next most pressing need for this team?

2. Who or what position do you see as our weakest link(if different from no. 1, like depth, experience, scheme, etc, etc.)?

3. Who is our most over rated player? Break it down for off./def. if you like.

4. Who is our biggest underachiever? Break this down as well if you like.

5. What starter would you bench right now, if it were up to you? Include the roster player you would promote as well(note: This question is loaded as most will say Colombo. Lets skip the obvious here and go "NEXT").

I remember the post(s) of which you are referring. An "OdInsider Question Series" for you:

1. We know that Kris is knowledgeable when it comes to football. Do you TRULY believe he posts under multiple names?

2. Do you believe he is one of the Two(2) resident "Blog Hit Brothers" that terrorize others here at "Dolphins In Depth"?

3. If in fact Kris does post under multiple names, which do you think he uses most frequently?

4. Do you consider Kris:

A. Polite poster?

B. "Straight shooter" poster?

C. Idiot poster?

D. All of the above?

5. Have you ever had experience(s) with an "Over-Sensitive Mouse"?

The Odinsider Questionaire

Featuring Yesterdays Gone!

1. What college QB do you see as being the most explosive at the next level?

2. What college QB would you draft if Mr. Ross hired you tonight?

3. Out of all the college QB's playing this year, which one do you think has the nicest Long Ball?

4. If you were going to draft a college QB this year, would they have to be more, or less religious than Tim TeBow?

5. If you had to rank Kris as a blogger on a 1 - 10, what would you give him?

Odin...so that is you that keeps that going.....so be it...I explained it once...and as I said to you back then (although i didn't know it was you)....I won't be addressing it again....

But it is nice to see you reveal yourself....

Ireland seems better now that Fatcells is out of his way.

He brought in Barnett and since Dansby is calling the plays, the two are becoming a force. His other free agent signee was barn burner Reggie Bush. Were all seeing how good this is turning out.

Ireland's draft picks aeren't to shabby. Odrick is really coming on in his rookie season. Pouncey is one of the best already-future pro bowler for sure. Thomas has been hindered by injuries and when healthy the talent is obviously there. He's a beast.
Clay is a steal no matter what and Gates is getting there. All Ireland finds.

Dabooll and Nolan are both just a player or two away, but you can see the schemes are really starting to gel. One more off season/personal groups, one more off season learning how to use the talent available and these coordinators are elite. Miami's offense and defense will be elite.

If Tony goes, then so to do these coordinators. That's part of the reason I think Tony stays. It's obvious these players love him and run through brick walls for him. You can't put a price on that. The fact he didn't lose the locker room says everything you need to know. It wasn't all that long ago that Tony was a rookie head coach. I think he's learned his lessons the hard way but I think he learned them good. It would be a mistake to let him get away now.

With Moore getting valuable experience and a healthy Henne pushing him during training camp next year, we're set at QB for years to come. With the QB postition solidified Tony will shine as one of the premier Head Coaches next year.

All we have to do is solidify the O-line with a tackle, find a true ball hawking safety, then maybe a guard and tight end. Tony will then have the Dolphins in the playoffs for years and years. Miami will finally be elite again. Just stay the course, we are almost there.

Now Odin....

Go back and post the ORGINAL conversation in which you will find that I actually was giving OSCAR a compiment....why if I compliment oscar...who I never agree with....would i have the need to change my name....

Whats really funny or sick....depending on who you "poll"....is the fact that you save this....

How pathetic is your life man.....and how long have you been saving my post hoping for something.....

don't you have an imaginary "hottie"....to make up a story about....

Dusty Bill Connors

Every year people echo your thoughts, one or two players away. And every year our season is over before it starts.

Do you see a pattern here?

Kris!

I like to joke around quite a bit and a laughs a laugh. It's not me doing it. I would just tell you, laugh about it and move on. I saw those posts but that's it. I thought you knew me better than that.

I'm not going to go all ballistic and call names because we are after all, just blogging.
Still, I would've thought you knew me better than that.

For your own good, and whatever it's worth, it's not me. I was trying to get a laugh out of it(as usual), but I never post to you like that(the trolls that F with me-YEAH, you regular Good Posters-NEVER)!

Look at my "Odinsider" above. I wasn't even derogatory there. Though, I admit to asking some very leading questions-LOL. But still, in a respectful manner.

If you want to think it's me, that's fine, there's nothing I can do about it. But, it's not me and I did just go to great lengths to deny it. That says alot right there.

I thought you and I were kool since way back when we had the "PERIOD" exchanges. Even then we never went off on each other. I've always liked your posts and posting with you.

Honestly, it ain't me.

Kris,

Between you and I, the poster that did this tonight looks eerily similar to the troll that kept copying/paste the posts about me taking my kid hunting on morphine.

Same M. O. and everything.

Now Odin....

Go back and post the ORGINAL conversation in which you will find that I actually was giving OSCAR a compiment....why if I compliment oscar...who I never agree with....would i have the need to change my name....
---------------------------------------------

-Yeah, it doesn't make sense. Which is exactly why you should know it wasn't me. I don't mess with people like that. Not even the trolls. My "approach" is just a tad bit more direct! And I know you know what I mean-LOL.
----------------------------------------------

Whats really funny or sick....depending on who you "poll"....is the fact that you save this....

How pathetic is your life man.....and how long have you been saving my post hoping for something.....
-------------------------------------------

-That's my point Kris, the troll did the same thing to me and I said the same things to him. He went back over a year, re-posting my posts and putting his spin on them. Look at the M. O. Kris and re- think it Bro. It ain't me.
--------------------------------------------

don't you have an imaginary "hottie"....to make up a story about....
---------------------------------------------

-No! I'm not into imagination when it comes to Hotties. When I was 15? Yeah, but that was a long time ago.

Now I know you guys aren't going to believe this, but just since I got on the Blog, I got a call. I thought I was stuck home alone tonight, BUT NOPE!

I just got a call from a Smoking Hot little Blonde that I haven't been seeing for about two months. She wants me to come over and watch some tube ;)

I don't have to read between the lines to know what that means.

Odin's gonna GET SOME!

Odin's gonna GET SOME!

YEAH! Gotta Go!

PS: One last time Kris, IT AIN'T ME!

Mr. Oddeye---how I treasure your illuminating observations and witty bon mots. How wonderful it would be to apply a non-comedogenic lotion to your sagging and liver-spotted torso and snuggle by a roaring fire.

Remember, you can pick your friends and you can pick your nose

I cannot accomplish the latter as I am bereft of hands.

But you can't pick your friend's nose!

I would love to take it up the pie hole from Tebow? Anyone else thinks he's hot?

post at 12:09 was me...KRIS...I'm on a new keyboard and the mouse is very sensitive. I guess I'll just read posts for the day.

Man thisله mouse is ليsensitive! I'llবে just ঐread forহ the ہیday.

Well.....like the saying goes....you ain't NOBODY...till SOMEBODY trolls you....

This should be a good day....

and if the philly job opens that means that andy reid is out there and u better hire him

Posted by: dusty bottoms | November 25, 2011 at 03:33 PM

Personally, I'd rather see Andy Reid hired as the GM than HC. Although Philly has signed a lot of players and the team hasn't "panned out" this year he is a very aggressive guy on draft day, moving up and down the draft board, and he is very aggressive in free agency.
I don't agree with some of the assessments that he wouldn't be ousted in Philly after this year, especially because Philly fans are just as tough as NY fans when it comes to a winning team. They expect a winner year in and year out and are very impatient when they don't have one and, with all of the acquisitions the team has made and the expectations set by the way the team played last year, there was pressure for the Eagles to produce a SuperBowl-contending team this year.
So, we'll see just how impatient the fans in Philly are and if their owner is just as impatient, especially after parting with all of that money to bring in "the dream team."

If Reid is some how fired....and I doubt he will be.....but if he is....I am sure he will take a few years off....as Dr. Roberts mentioned earlier....he (reportedly) has some serious family issues....and I am sure stress related health concerns....and that weight can't be good either....

In my opinion....if he gets canned...or steps down....he will stay away for a a few years.....

Reid stuck too long with McNabb. McNabb was good enough to get you to the playoffs but never seemed to have the extra mustard when it counted most. It can be argued Reid made McNabb better too, because McNabb has been useless to two teams since leaving Philly.

I'd rather have a fresh face. Cowher and Gruden are committed to TV. Fisher, gee take a look at his stats, he had a few good seasons but mostly bad ones. He refused to put in VY when Collins was struggling, and once his boss made him do it, they won like 7 straight with VY. So, I'm not impressed with Fisher.

Get some one hungry, fresh blood, not someone tired or burnt out. In sports, NBA, MBA, NFL, all too often its a merry-go-round of the same coaches who often give the same results, I'd rather bring in someone new.
