Dolphins beat Buffalo to escape AFC East cellar

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The Dolphins are no longer the worst team in the AFC East. Well, they're tied with the Buffalo Bills, both with 5-9 records. But the Dolphins have swept the Bills so they are effectively ahead of the Bills.

Hey, you take every smidge of good news with the 2011 Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins beat the Bills 30-23 today.

This is good: Todd Bowles got his first career head coaching victory.

This is good: Reggie Bush rushed for 203 yards and became the third person in franchise history to gain over 200 yards rushing in a game for Miami. It marked only the fourth time it happened in team history. (Ricky Williams did it twice, Lamar Smith did it once.)

This is good, too: Matt Moore played well Sunday despite suffering a mild concussion last week. He only completed 50 percent of his passes but threw two TDs, without an interception.

This was bad: Brandon Marshall dropped two TD passes. That left Miami to settle for field goals and thus make a clearly easy victory into a nail-biter.

This was bad: Marc Colombo gave up a strip sack that resulted in a Matt Moore fumble.

This was good: The Green Bay Packers lost today. Yes, the Dolphins remain the only franchise with a team that finished the season undefeated.

This was bad: The Dolphins have to, at some point, man up on defense. The zone defense simply shows its wear after a while. Seems to me Vontae Davis and Sean Smith are better suited for man coverage.

And then this: The Dolphins did not allow the Bills to convert a third down play this season. Buffalo was 0-for-12 in Miami.they were 0-for-11 today. Wow!

Will be interesting our game vs NE.

It is very hard to evaluate the talent of the Patriots. Belichick is a master at placing personnel in situations where they do best. I'm sure that Woodhead, Welker and even Brady would not be the same players they are in NE if they were playing for another Team.

Good Observation Oscar, Thats what a good coach does for a team, Thats why Soprono is now unemployed.

I have Nothing to saY but I like to wRite to pratice My capiTal leTters.

It is the more amazing to see this Team play as good as they have for the last 7 games without any real Coaching(sorry Tony but I believe that's true).

I know this is crazy and I have thought about it before as it is inconceivable to me that a Team coaches itself. Could there be somebody other than Sparano that has coached this Team for the past 7 weeks? Yeah, I know, I know....

To bad about the 0 and 7 start.

Have the fins beat a winning team yeat this year?

Been critical of Reggie Bush. Perhaps I should back off. Looks like a thousand yard season for him. Nice slide in the end zone. Ricky and Ronnie who?

Some draft boards have RGIII falling far enough for us to grab. Will see. Wanted Andrew Luck but will take him.

Thanks KC for the early Christmas present – Aww Right Miami (1972).

That loss to Philly doesn’t seem so bad now. That’s one tough team despite their record.

Not sold on Billick. Been a while. Has the game passed him by? Will keep an open mind however. Fisher is my choice.

Extended forecast for Foxboro, MA - Partly cloudy, with a high around 44 and a low around 24. Two games left to play, not out of the cellar yet.

DID you see and hear that 39 year old POP tonight on ESPN??

I relish in that each and EVERY season.

It IS the sound of greatness.. The sound of unbelievable accomplishment... The Sound of which is the envy of all the rest of the NFL teams.

Regardless if you are a Dolphin fan or not... YOU need to recognize the greatness and leadership of which the 1972 Miami Dolphins enjoyed. A team of which will live in infamy.

So it shall be written, so it shall be done.

That my post for the night..

Good night all and enjoy and feel comforted that you are amongst a great elite group of fans that can say their team went undefeated.

Sit back and think about THAT.

Your Boyfriend beats you and you ain't a winner.

Leave it to you, Armandito, to always find the bad. Why not ask the pertinent questions instead of finding the bad so you can have fodder for your radio show? How about: Is Todd Bowles the answer? Is he a coach to consider realistically and not just as Rooney rule check mark? What do we need in this team to become perennial contenders, not just in AFC east, but in the AFC, and how should we go about it? Who is a free agent that can upgrade our offense or defense? You talk about needing a quarterback. Well, just about every fifth grader in Miami knows that. How about other positions that are of need and can be gotten in the 2012 draft and free agency? Try constructive criticism. You might find more radio callers. DO-SHAN-WU!

This team is 5-2 as of late.

I don't give a flying fvck about 0-7. Those seven are already history. They don't mean a thing.

I don't give a flying Fvck about who they played either. They played the teams on their schedule and are 5-2!

The tards think these guys should lose on purpose and Armando thinks nobody will want to take over a 5-2 team!

OMG! I've encountered more intelligence at a pre school field trip.

Seriously, I don't want to fight with anyone, but I am enjoying the laughs!

Now, Kim Jong-Il is walking with Jesus. God Bless You, Dear Leader.

Kim Jong-Il - leader of an Idiocracy.

Fu[k North Korea and those who praise the leaders.

By far the largest number of North Koreans working outside their country are in Russia, where they do mostly logging and construction in military-style camps run by the North Korean government. When the camps were set up in the early 1970s, the workers were North Korean prisoners. But as the North Korean economy disintegrated in the late 1980s, doing hard labor in Siberia came to be seen as a reward because at least it meant getting adequate food.

For the last decade, Amnesty International’s satellite research shows slave camps expanding, their populations swelling with ‘criminals’ as the general population starves inside its borders and refugees who are caught trying to leave North Korea are executed…or sent to these gulags.

The nutcakes. Great.

Why don't any sane people stay up after midnight?

9 to 5 is nice(lol), but come on, there is a 2nd and 3rd shift as well.

Now, Kim Jong-Il is walking with Jesus. God Bless You, Dear Leader.

The irony of this statement is hilarious.

SEOUL -- In Camp No. 14, the North Korean political prison where Shin Dong-hyuk was born and where he says he watched the hanging of his mother, inmates never saw a picture of Kim Jong Il.

"I had no idea who he is," Shin said, referring to the leader whose photograph is displayed nearly everywhere in North Korea.

Inmates did not need to know the face of their "Dear Leader," as Kim is called. Behind electrified fences, they tended pigs, tanned leather, collected firewood and labored in mines until they died or were executed.

Usually, being judgemental and speaking of death is taboo for a Viking.

In this case though, this piece of shyt never deserved to live-LOL!

I wonder if Jesus died for his sins? That'd be a whole lotta dying. Just saying...............

Kim Jong Il = Mentally Ill.

Good riddance jackass!

Do not blasphemy the name of the Dear Leader. He has brought me to orgasm countless times and I thank Him for this.

May God hold and anoint you, Dear Leader.

I get it and that is a good one.

But believe me Buddy, I never ever claimed to be sane. I'm man enough to admit it.

However, when I was younger, and all my friends, aquaintences, family, teachers, Hobo's and the guys living under the bridge, the Judges, probations officers and social workers, They would ALL say I'm crazy. I didn't believe them at first. I thought they meant in a partying kind of way.

However, As I got older........well..........I found out they meant it.

PS: I also found out they were RIGHT!

It IS what it IS!!!!

I would like to piss on Kim Jong - Mentally Ill's grave.

Sometime later this morning, I would also like to shyt on Kim Jong - Mentally Ill's grave.

My two dogs and three cats will also be wanting to relieve themselves on the jackass's grave.

My neighbors don't know it yet but they too will be joining me with a human exxcrement salute to Kim Jong - Mentally Ill.

Fvck that crazy buzztvrd from north Korea. May he rot in hell.

Pot Kettle Black, I usually post the latest so I'm the crazyest! Oh well...don't pissss me of in a bar fight I guess......

Randy Starks, 5 sacks as a 3-4 DE got him into the pro bowl.

Odrick = 5 sacks this seson. 2 games left.

Oh my darling, oh my darling, oh my darling Clementine.....

Where the hell is ALoco Kim Jong?

Iraquib war over? That wasnt war is was sanctioned organized slaughter. Ask Saddam Hussien.

What scares me most is it took us 9yrs to win organized slaughter. What happens if we get into a real war with a real opponent?

ALo Kim Jong, Im sure you rest in peace right now. May the cuely wools of your counted sheep not be fleeced.

curly wools

ALoco Kim Jong where are you?

YG, if we get into a real war, we can kick anyone's tailend, as long as we stop worrying about collateral damage. The only thing our opponents respect is fear and they don't fear us 'cause we worry too much about being nice. That needs to stop!

We win. Bush ran between the tackles. Bush ran inside outside and up and down.
Our qb, hit Brandon Marshall in stride over the shoulder on a sideline throw and the tight end Fasano in the same fashion. Not having to break stride gets us in the endzone.
I haven't seen throws like that for quite some time. On the Dolphins at least.
Moore is a good qb. He isn't Tom Brady but I would keep him as our starter for next year.

Interesting. So, would you advocate Miami take someone like Justin Blackmon with their first and then maybe someone like Orson Charles in the second and start surrounding a quarterback with some offensive firepower?
Interesting thought. Would Aaron Rodgers automatically make this a better team? Would he be able to complete more passes to Brandon Marshall or would Marshall drop two td's like he did yesterday? Would Rodgers be THAT much more successful with the current cast of characters on this team? Rodgers has a tremendous amount of weapons on his offense. Do they make him a better quarterback? I don't know.

GM Ireland is starting to look very smart, after all team is very youg, kudos for signin Moore, Burnett, Dansby, Bush, Soliai, Wake, starks, findin Bess and Fasano, draft is starting to look very solid, Davis, Odrick, Pouncey, Jerry, Long, I think Daniel will flash once 100% healthy, Clay,Smith, even Nolan Carrol and Rashad all over the place yesterday...another draft and another year of free agency, but sparano was a moron for not allowing Moore to compete with Henne.

I think we're going to BEAT New England. THERE I SAID IT! Then we'll loose a draft slot and our lives as we know it will be OVER! I have an idea - let's TRY to loose ALL the game next year so we have BOTH records and a great draft pick! Or - we could just take the field wearing only a jock strap and see if that works. Or play Cameron Wake at QB... and Devon Bess at Defensive Tackle! THAT will DEFINITELY make us loose! As Al Davis always said, "Just Loose Baby!" (what is WRONG with you people who think we should TRY to loose - it's just amazing to me!)

Next week is when we will see what we are made of. New England at home isn't going to be easy. The Bills gave up a month ago and packed it in for the season.
