FOXBORO, Mass. -- One quarterback completed a 30-plus yard pass down the sideline. The other QB has started the game 2-fo-9. One quarterback has moved his team. The other QB seems frustrated and troubled by the opposing pressure.
Yes, Tom Brady is struggling and Matt Moore is doing quite well.
Just like everyone expected, right?
Well, obviously not. The Miami defense has blitzed on numerous occasions and gotten good pressure on Brady. That's why New England hasn't moved the ball.
Miami leads 3-0 on a 47-yard field goal by Dan Carpenter.
Will it last?
The live blog continues in the comments section so the answer awaits.

Yeaaaaa, I mean booo. Want our team to win but I want a low pic in the draft. I hate being skitzo.

133.056, MATT MOORE'S CURRENT QB RATING. WOW!
Posted by: Yesterday's Gone | December 24, 2011 at 02:10 PM
I may have lost my mind, but I'm beginning to think we should keep this whole thing together-
Ireland as GM
Bowles as HC
Nolan as DC
Dabol as OC
Moore as QB
Use draft to fill in weak areas,
Draft best available players
AM I CRAZY??

Brady has poopy face... Poor baby... waaaaaaa...
Posted by: devildogfin | December 24, 2011 at 02:10 PM

KEEP THE PRESSURE ON BRADY!

Brady seems rattled.

GETTING SCARY, MOORE CONSISTENTLY PUTTING UP 100+ QB RATINGS.
IM SCARED TO SAY, BUT MAYBE MOORE IS OUR QB FUTURE?
Posted by: Yesterday's Gone | December 24, 2011 at 02:13 PM
A SHUTOUT TODAY WOULD BE VERY SWEET REDEMPTION FOR THE GAME 1 DEFENSIVE MASSACRE!
Posted by: Yesterday's Gone | December 24, 2011 at 02:15 PM
This kinda reminds me when Surtain & Madison used to lockdown receivers & frustrate Brady.
Posted by: Turd Ferguson | December 24, 2011 at 02:15 PM
WE ALL NEED TO GIVE THE DOLPHINS A LOT OF CREDIT!!!
I'M SURE ARMANDO WILL LOOK AT THE NEGATIVE IF HE CAN!!
Posted by: TONY'S CLIP BOARD | December 24, 2011 at 02:16 PM
all right Cruz, go over the Jets
Posted by: tony in miami | December 24, 2011 at 02:17 PM
For the last couple months, ALL I could think about was the new 1st RD franchise QB we were going to draft.
But now, our choices look slim to none for that.
Matt Moore, however, is playing like the franchise QB we were hoping to draft.
To quote the Rolling Stones-
You can't always get what you want, but sometimes....
You get what you need! YEAH!

Posted by: TONY'S CLIP BOARD | December 24, 2011 at 02:21 PM
Bush is gaining 8 yards up the middle. This is insane! Our Off line is playing awesome also!
Posted by: devildogfin | December 24, 2011 at 02:21 PM
Odrik's physically strength is one of the biggest contributions to the improved pass rush.
Posted by: Professor Lou | December 24, 2011 at 02:22 PM
Armando,
Do you bring back Soliai at 7-8mil per year?
Posted by: nyfinfan | December 24, 2011 at 02:22 PM
76YDS RUSHING FOR BUSH RIGHT NOW. HE SHOULD BE GETTING THE BALL AT LEAST 2 MORE TIMES AFTER THE 2 MIN WARNING.
BREAK A BIG TO GO OVER 100YDS REGGIE!

NE is tanking this game to screw us in the draft.
Posted by: PriceMaster | December 24, 2011 at 02:24 PM
At Half time look for Tom Brady to Change to a different air of UGG's and quick hair jelling to acentuate his looks. He will also be dropping the man purse to free himself in the pocket.
Posted by: SoiledBottom | December 24, 2011 at 02:25 PM
GUYS,
MOORE CONTINUALLY PUTTING UP 100+ QB RATINGS IS SCARY. I ALMOST WANNA BELIEVE HE'S OUR QB FUTURE!
Posted by: Yesterday's Gone | December 24, 2011 at 02:25 PM
Daniel thomas is out with a knee. His return is questionable.

SCREW US? MOORE KEEPS PLAYING LIKE THIS I DONT GIVE A CRAP!
Posted by: Yesterday's Gone | December 24, 2011 at 02:27 PM
NE can lose today and still have home field advantage throughout by beating buffalo at home next week.
NE is throwing this game.
Posted by: PriceMaster | December 24, 2011 at 02:28 PM
3rd and 12 'in' two minute offense and we run????? At basically midfield? Are u kidding me'????
Posted by: inimounts | December 24, 2011 at 02:28 PM
Thought, for sure, they were going to send Gates down the right side with the Pats overloaded to the left on defense.
Posted by: Professor Lou | December 24, 2011 at 02:28 PM
BUSH ENDS THE HALF WITH 81YDS RUSHING.
GUYS I THINK WE GOT THE NEXT USC'S OJ SIMPSON/MARCUS ALLEN. MUST ADMIT I DIDNT WANT BUSH IN FREE AGENCY.
LOVE WHEN A DOLPHIN PLAYER PROVES ME WRONG!
Posted by: Yesterday's Gone | December 24, 2011 at 02:29 PM
Matt Moore awesome against poor defences, the great pretender!!!!!
New England has the league worst defense so how does this make Moore a franchise QB, u guys are idiots, believe what you want but thy will be done
Posted by: Husketeer | December 24, 2011 at 02:31 PM
Why use gates-he's fast-we keep our fast people on the bench and take a pro red shirt so they have no development and are rookies again in their second year
Posted by: David | December 24, 2011 at 02:31 PM
INIAMOUNTS,
TAKING AWAY TIME FROM BRADY. INCOMPLETE GIVES HIM MORE TIME TO OPERATE. BY RUNNING WE TOOK AT LEAST 1 PLAY AWAY FROM HIM.
THAT'S SMART!
Posted by: Yesterday's Gone | December 24, 2011 at 02:31 PM
Ummmm patriots don't throw anything. They are playing all players. U sit people
Posted by: inimounts | December 24, 2011 at 02:31 PM
YG,
Please list the teams with winning records that Moore has beaten in his career.
There aren't any.
The is a reason he was undrafted and in his 6th year in the league makes $1mil/season.
Us winning today will guarantee that Moore is our starter next season.
Posted by: PriceMaster | December 24, 2011 at 02:31 PM
This is unbelievable. I put this all on dabol. U have to try for the first down!
Posted by: inimounts | December 24, 2011 at 02:32 PM
Looks like today is not New england day.
Posted by: tony in miami | December 24, 2011 at 02:32 PM

1ST HALF SHUT OUT!
HELL YEAH BOY!
Posted by: Powhitetrash | December 24, 2011 at 02:32 PM
No, it's conservative yesterday, and that's why we are 7-9 always. I'm done with conservative. And they are scoring now instead of us because we ran and didn't try for the first. Or almost scoring.
Posted by: inimounts | December 24, 2011 at 02:33 PM
Carbon copy second half!
Posted by: nyfinfan | December 24, 2011 at 02:33 PM
Point is, 17 isn't enough if a lead against this team.
