Yet another reason I love RG3

You know I love Robert Griffin III.

It's been that way since the midway mark of the college football season. And it's about more than just his ability to run a 4.41 time in the 40 or the fact hes already graduated, or the fact his folks were both military personnel who instilled great discipline in the kid, or the fact he completed 72 percent of his passes with 37 touchdowns and only six interceptions last season.

No, it's the total awesomeness of this young man. He's bright. He's gifted. He handles himself like a successful 40-year-old man but manages to maintain a certain enthusiasm about things.

I love all that.

And I love what I saw below. I heard he had wowed practically every team he interviewed with at the Indy combine -- the Dolphins included. Check out how he handled the coach's interview with the NFL Network via the Sportsgrid:

Whatever team picks up Henne I hope have a custom helmet maker to create a helmet for that planet hanging on Henne neck.

Henne = Great Gazoo

Somebody will pick up Henne for their practice squad.

Report: Dolphins turned off by cost to acquire Rams' No. 2 pick

Later guys.

P.S. Henne sucks.

Ross has a hard on for Manning so he can sell some tickets.

Henne will start somewhere sometime during the 2012 season. I guarantee it.

For my final post. Henne sucks, Get Rg3, Manning old, Flynn = Kolb, and shout out to my haters.

Hi Hater :0

We'll catch up later ladies and germs.

Miami Police looking for rapper Rick Ross after responding to gun shots at his house turned up a dead body.

Personally, I think people get overly wrapped up in sterotypes...not racism necessarily, but sterotyping in general. Happens all the time in sports and in life.

Ever notice that when you have a great pass rusher, be it a DE or OLB...and he's black....he's almost always identified as a superb and dominating athlete...a BEAST! When it's a white guy that does the same thing, you hear things like..."he's got a great motor"....or "he really works hard at his craft..and has a great motor."

When it comes to the QB position and having an athlete at the QB position...if he's white, he's generally labeled as "mobile" whereas the black guy is labeled as a "running QB". If he's white, you hear things like, "he's a great athlete and extends the play with his legs...he opens up other options." If he's black, you hear things like, "he tends to run around and hold the ball too long...he just needs to throw it away."

By the by, if you look at the top 10 QBs in sacks in 2011, only one of those guys is a "running QB"...i.e. a mobile black QB....the rest of them are just mobile QBs....i.e. white athletic guys. Also, Vick is like 24 or 25 on the list.

Griffin is too expensive,& Flynn is a former 7th round project.I would draft Tannehill @8 & let him compete w/M. Moore. He’s got nice size & athleticism. He can throw on the run in either direction & he’s familiar w/the offense the Phish plan to run.His stat line at A&M is not bad. Also,I think w/coaching & patience Jerry & Murtha could be killers on the right side of the O-line.In FA sign Reggie Nelson & move Reshard Jones to his natural position @ SS.At TE bring Jeremy Shockey home. He’s still hungry & would be a young QB’s best friend. In the Draft take the best available DE/OLB types we can develop into Tom Brady’s nightmares(I'd say take a TE too but the class is not deep at the position)

If Ireland gave up 3 picks to get Thomas, he will give it up for RG3!!!

Do any of you really want to see any of those others else behind center??? How dull they are in comparison!

Sorry but that video wasnt all that impressive. He's a football guy, I hope he can remember a simple, VERY simple play moments after it was given to him. Hell, I could've drawn that play that soon after it was given to me

I would say it is probably like the proverbial pinball in the coffee cup. Yes?

I don't care if a Quarterback is young, old, black, white, green, pink, or polka-dotted; as long as he can help the Dolphins win, who cares?

Manning to Miami 13 March 4:01 PM.....

Case in point to my post @ 5:34:

Someone early mentioned Steve Young as a "running QB"...then someone else saie, "no, he was a mobile qb."

If you don't think Steve Young was a running QB, you need to go read a little bit of bio on the guy. This guy was Tim Tebow before Tim Tebow.

He was originally recruited out of high school by North Carolina to run their option offense...he opted to stay in Utah and go to BYU where he ran more of a spread that would require him to throw much more. He struggled mightly throwing the ball early on and BYU considered moving him to DB because of his insane athletic abilities. Ultimately, his passing progressed, but BYU still used him in unusual ways....lining him up as a full back, etc. In fact, Young ended his college career in the Holiday Bowl catching (not throwing) the game winning TD (lined up as full back).

Because Steve Young was considered more of a "football player" and an "athlete" than a QB, he was not really considered for the NFL and started out in the USFL. While in the USFL, Young became the first professional football QB to throw for 300 yards and run for 100 yards in a game. He most often played out of the shotgun formation and often ran a version of what is now often referred to as "the wildcat" formation.

But....since he's a white dude, he's simply a "mobile" QB....who could extend the play with his legs.

One must be of the CHAMPIONSHIP MIND GARDEN that all flows outward from DESIRE and DETERMINATION. One that has read the MORAL ABC and explicate in the Dr. Bronners Guide will know of this. ALL APPLIES TO FOOTBALL AS WELL LIKE ADHESIVE LOGIC!

Daryl Dunphy.....your post was so good...I had to re-post it...hope you don't mind...

Some of you guys live in fantasy land..It is easy to say trade everything for RG III..Many of you will be critical of Ireland should he be out bid..He will be called gutlees, spineless...more of the same. I can see it now.

At what point is it too much? Especially when there are other options available that would would also improve our team. You guys act like Griffen is the first guy to throw the forward pass. Don't get me wrong. I like the kid. I think he is cerebrial, obviuosly off the charts atheletic, has an arm. But like I said he isn't the first to drop the scouts jaws. He will not be the last.

From the back of a keyboard it is easy to say..Trade the farm. It is the only thing to do, and the only scenario I(I being unreasonable outerspace blogger) will accept. If we can aquire Griffen. I'm sure the deal will be very handsome, it will favor ST Louis as far asthe amount of players they can choose. If we do not...The price would be just too much. Will some of you be able to deal with this without throwing a tantrum?

I hate that this the Dolphins have FALLEN so far that WE as fans are chomping @ the bit for any QB not named Henne.....

Dear Mr. Salguero,

"Yet another reason I love RG3"

We here at the Blog are all very happy to hear that you've finally found true love.

We were very worried after your recent split with JT. You were right, he just wasn't worth it. The way he was two timing you with sportswriters in DC and then New York of all places. When he finally came back and just expected you too pick up where you left off? You're too good for him Armando. He's just NOT worth it.

I wish you and RGIII nothing but happiness in the coming years.

Chin up Armando and remember, "Bouncing Back" doesn't HAVE to mean you're on the "Rebound".

Am trying some physical therapy in the hopes of avoiding neck surgery. Rehabbing sucks, but a few of my therapists are Hotties :)

PS: How are the english lessons going? Not too good I can see. Oh well, Hope all is good.

(Buffet Of the Linguistically Challenged)

wasnt it kris last year the one saying its time to do everything possible to get a high first round pick? not to waste time with 2nd rounders? now there is a guy there, possibly within reach, and he is backing down? smells funny. do you think defensive coordinators are going to worry more about rg, flynn or tannehill? and peyton, 2 years of service maybe and back to square one? grooming some avg qb that will amount to nothing?

Beerphin did you actually watch the Fiesta Bowl? the Stanford kicker miss the field goal, come on man.STOP LYING!
I wouldn't mind drafting Weeden. After We trade down.

What's up losers?

just wondering if it might be racism, even if only subconsciously.

If RG3 is so good then why doesn't Indy take him?

Who cares about RG3 . We have such a slim chance to get himm its all a pipe dream. Bottom line Cleveland wants him they get him. They simply have more to offer. And Washington has better picks to give. Stop dreaming, it's embarrassing.

cause luck is so good also. cant lose with either one

they dont have more to offer. u just offer more than they do. next year picks are something the rams want also. lucky for us the rams arent u phins and have to have everything in this one draft. fisher smart enough to know that

I'd love to see RGIII in a Miami uniform. It's not gonna happen 'cause the Browns and 'Skins can make better offers.

no they cant mbl, u just outbid them

Dusty, Outbid the browns?, They have a 6th and 23 pick, I can see them trading both, But what would they do with McCoy?, Is he done there?, Also I see Odins been posting sinse 10 AM, I guess they wake you up before noon in Rehab., Odin must be Hating it.LOL

yes but miami can trade picks also from next years draft. plus the browns offer didnt include the 23rd pick. they want to hold onto that one. either washington or miami will get the pick

Collage players are a crap shot, Though if he's anything like Newton Miami could win more then 10 IMHO.Miami's got players in the right poistions wherethey could go from 6 and 10 to 11 and 5or better, I just hope that Phibin is a better coach then Sporono., It would be hard for him to be worse. IMHO.

just think in a couple years with griffin how good they could be

Holmgren can offer the Rams TWO 1st round picks THIS YEAR.

Miami cannot! They don't have two 1st round picks.

Not only can Cleveland make a better offer, they can afford to moreso than us as well.

Holmgren has enough pull and prestiege to sell the farm for RGIII. If he goes bust, Holmgren survives on his past sucesses and lives to fight another day.

Ireland on the other hand, is an entirely different situation. If he gooes "All In" on RGIII and it's a bust, Ireland is toast and he knows it. He'll probably never get another shot at being a GM.

In summation, Cleveland does have more and better picks to offer. Clevelands GM has more guts and is in a far better position to gamble the Farm on a guy like Griffen. Holmgren can survive a blunder here, Ireland cannot. EVERYBODY involved knows it.

PTWFDP is very insecure with himself that's why he needs to tear down others.
What's that matter PTWFDP, did your momma not breast feed you?

Posted by: Home Knows Best | February 29, 2012 at 04:49 PM

You're such a dumbazz. Who needs my mom when I still have yours? She has ample supply!

In all seriousness, you're dumber than a piece of driftwood. Nobody cares what you think will happen. All they care about is the day you no longer come to this blog to make everyone dumber with your childish posts.

I know miami has made some absolutely horrible personnel decisions in the past { almost all of them } but right now you sign Manning, get Reggie Wayne, draft the best tackle on the board at 8 for the right side to replace marc " Whiff " Columbo, then start filling in the needs as you go and I guarantee we will at least be in the afc championship game this year.

Forget RG3. Let's stick with what is tried and true. Get a white blood that can comprehend today's sophisticated offenses and forget the neeg that may have his share of highlight plays on espn but will never take you anywhere.

But Odin, Are they through with Colt McCoy?, What's the word up there?

Dusty, Outbid the browns?, They have a 6th and 23 pick, I can see them trading both, But what would they do with McCoy?,

Posted by: Coalition To Ban Ireland and Odin. | February 29, 2012 at 08:13 PM

The Browns have the 4th and 22nd picks.

Instead of just making up bullshyt about bloggers and fantacizing about Mario, why don't you learn a little something about blogging and the NFL.

You won't look AS ignorant.

Glad I could help and you're WELCOME in advance.

PS: You don't follow question marks with commas. Duh!

Odin, BTW I to see Mando's Man-Love for Griffen too, Now that Taylors retired.Just saying A Man's gotta have a Hobbie.

yea I watched the game OSU won. Win or lose though Brandon Weeden throws the nicer ball.

My Bad Odin, Now that your in day 4 of rehab I see that your using spell-check, I on the other hand I'am using my Phone., Congrats on getting clean, I'am rooting for you.

just because the field goal kicker missed a field goal doesn't mean anything. It's not like it was a chip shot especially at college level. Luck had a better completion % but Weeden had 3 TD 1 int with 400 yrds and almost had a 4th in ot so in my book that is better. Luck played near perfect as well 350yrds 2 td 1 int
Weeden still won the bowl game you can keep telling yourself otherwise it won't change that fact.

yes but miami can trade picks also from next years draft.

Cleveland can as well.

plus the browns offer didnt include the 23rd pick.

So, Free Agency hasn't even started yet and Holmgren has publically made an offer for the Rams pick?

Hmmmmmmmmmm, I must have missed that one.

they want to hold onto that one. either washington or miami will get the pick

Posted by: dusty bottoms | February 29, 2012 at 08:16 PM

Did Mike give you the inside scoop on keeping his 22nd pick?

Has he announced it in the Press or something? Yeah, NFL GM's always let everybody know exactly what their offering and planning. It helps the competition get the upper hand on them come draft day.

C'mon You Two-SHEESH!!!!

Hi Odin!!!

Will you bring the chocolate condoms tonight?

Ah Ho, Odin starting to get upset.Easy Odin, Easy.

The Dolphins have said repeatedly that they covet Manning overall, they have already on NFL Network been reported to be the 1st of the

Will you teach me how to cut and paste? I am bored and want to destroy the blog tonight.

But Odin, Are they through with Colt McCoy?, What's the word up there?

Posted by: Coalition To Ban Ireland and Odin. | February 29, 2012 at 08:28 PM

I don't think so. McCoys contract is very Back Up QB friendly.

I think Holmgren will try and develop him into a commodity(ala Cassel, Kolb, Flynn) while keeping him as RGIII's back up.

fin4 = another gullible blogger that will never learn year after year after year after year to ignore the smokescreen info in the media pre draft.

i heard rg3 is going to do dancing with the stars and skip the nfl in 2012.

My Bad Odin, Now that your in day 4 of rehab I see that your using spell-check, I on the other hand I'am using my Phone., Congrats on getting clean, I'am rooting for you.

I think this rehab is a waste of time. How do you rehab degenerative discs in your neck and a blown rotator cuff.

I hate the thought of more surgery, but it's looking like just that.

Oh well, my Therapist is a Hottie and the Meds are G-G-GREAT!

most pre draft gossip is actually true. its a fact.

Come on Man!!!

There is almost 57 Days until the draft and everyone's getting all pumped up and down and in between over this RGIII fiasco.

The saliva from some of the RG groupies is really getting deep.

I mean is Armando going to post a blog each day for the next 56 that RGIII did they or that? Next thing you know we are going to be blogging on what socks he wore yesterday.

What the heck are you all going to be doing come draft day and the Rams take him or trade him to anyone but the Dolphins.

Do you REALLY, I mean truly really think that the Miami dolphins are going to trade the world and move in to take him?

I give THAT a .10% chance of happening.

Make sure that your mental health policy is up to date because you just may need it after you watch RGIII go elsewhere.

Again folks.. 57 days and everyone is hysterical.

If that floats your dingy, enjoy.
