I'm not a big Brock Osweiler proponent. He reminds me of Dan McGwire who was a good college quarterback but never made it in the pros. I guess you can understand the comparison because Osweiler, at 6-foot-7 and 242 pounds, is built like McGwire.
The Dolphins, however, are doing their homework and that work includes the former Arizona State quarterback. Nothing against the kid, but I don't like his mechanics, I don't necessarily love his mobility and his accuracy is inconsistent.
Oswelier has been addressing his mechanics since the end of the college season.
"It's more over-the-top now," Osweiler said of a revamped throwing motion. "I was kind of always dragging my elbow when I was playing here at ASU, and we really wanted to utilize my full 6-7 frame, or whatever it is, and make sure the arm and delivery is over-the-top."
Osweiler, who seems like a third-round talent to me, will go on multiple private workouts for several NFL franchises including the Dolphins.
"I'm meeting with the Chiefs and the Broncos next week and I'm taking trips to Miami and Buffalo and a few other places," he said.
During his workout today -- attended by Dolphins brass, including general manager Jeff Ireland -- Osweiler competed 66 of 75 passes with seven overthrows and one dropped pass, according to ASUDevils.com.

I was at the OB from the late 70's moving forward for the Fins and Canes but put the blame the old grand daddy ain't there anymore on the cheap politics of the City of Miami which turned down 75 to 150 Mil. in renovations countless times which forced the usually even cheaper Joe Robbie to build JRS which of course he did on the cheapest piece of land he could which is why that Stadium is located in no man's land on County line road. I will also add that while the Marlins new ball park looks nice it feels sacrilegious to pass that sight and not see the OB which of course eventually gets built for a sport with little local support on City pension fund money, go figure??

I know WE ALL want to see the silver lining in this event....after all...he's a FIN....but I see nothing but negativity in this one....never met Misi...and have nothing against him personally....all I know is this...

Marshall was arrested in Denver after nearly a dozen calls to his home on simple domestic battery. I also find it interesting that in 90% of his troubles she's somehow involved, thinking footballs version of Whitney and Bobby. I don't see any silver lining in this event and he could have shown more restraint but we weren't there and don't know exactly what was said that got him so bent.
I also caught your post my way yesterday about a response I made to JPAO and I just found his story a little exaggerated. By the way I take Tannahill at 8 but don't trade up a spot for him my thinking is even if it doesn't work out the rookie CAP lets you pull the plug in a relatively shorter time than before. If that is the case and he hurt the other guy so badly why wasn't he arrested on the spot but charged a full year later, common maaan!! In these situations if someone needs medical attention then someone is going in for assault, period!! Trust me here been in those situations, like I said I was once younger. It is a bad, thoughtless move by Misi anyway you slice it. First and foremost, as a professional, he has his team to think about. He can not let his actions jeopardize the team. Being provoked verbally is just petty in my opinion. If he was physically provoked it would be an entirely different matter, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.
He's getting paid like a pro to act like a pro. If he can' handle a little name calling directed his way, he might think about his next best option of employment, stocking shelves for Walmart.
