Jeff Ireland is not the devil

This post is not going to be popular. This post absolutely will not fit the current popular narrative surrounding the Dolphins the past week. And I don't take this undertaking lightly because I don't enjoy taking a bullet for someone who is not my family or close friend.

But ...

This Jeff Ireland hatred is getting more than a tad ridiculous.

To begin, I cannot say I agree with every single move Ireland makes. I don' agree with his approach with the media. I am aware agents talk behind his back (if they do it with me I'm assuming they do it with others) and complain of an arrogance that is baffling and approach that sometimes borders on bullying.

But I also do not agree he is a total screwup and gets everything wrong -- maybe that's because he doesn't.

I thought the David Garrard signing was a very good one, assuming the projected use for him is what I believe it will be and isn't followed by a crazy chase of Alex Smith or Tim Tebow. I thought the re-signing of Paul Soliai at a bargain price -- $6 million per year when he had a bigger deal on the table with Denver and for a price that is half of what the team paid last year -- was a coup that got whitewashed in the negative theme of the day.

I like the fact the Dolphins held to their guns in coming to a organizational value for Matt Flynn, remembering that coach Joe Philbin knows this guy as well as anyone. People are saying Flynn picked the Seahawks over the Dolphins. I think it's more accurate to say the Dolphins picked something else over Flynn because I don't believe they wanted to outbid Seattle. I like that Miami made a move to explore Alex Smith. I like that Miami won't be paying Smith $8 million a year because that's crazy money considering seven years of watching this guy has offered only one season of promising production.

I understand (I think) why the Dolphins traded Brandon Marshall. I like Marshall and think he's an engaging guy. He really is great if you speak with him. Guy's charming. But he is a trouble magnet. He is immature and the lack of a father figure in his life gives him no foundation on which to sometimes understand right from wrong and being an adult from being a kid. I believe unless that changes, he's going to be in trouble again eventually. So the move to jettison him is logical on several levels.

I also understand and cannot criticize Ireland for letting Kendall Langford go. Quick, what was the last game-changing play he made? What was his signature moment in Dolphins history? Correct, he didn't have one. He was a grunt, a role-player albeit a nice one. Certainly, he's not a guy worth $6 million per year and a $12 million guarantee, which is what he got from St. Louis.

And, because I am not a hypocrite, I also cannot rip the idea of cutting Yeremiah Bell. Bell is one of my favorite players. He's a tough blankety blank. He's a good locker room guy. But he's 34 years old and his play isn't likely to get better. And for years I've urged the Dolphins to be one of those teams that jettisons players before they totally break down and lose it rather than waiting an extra year and suffering the actual fast decline while the player is on the roster.

The Dolphins cut Bell on Monday before he completely fades out. I cannot rip them for that, considering he brings $4.3 million in cap relief. (Also, we don't know if Miami offered Bell a chance to cut his salary and he refused or not.)

So all these moves that Ireland is getting destroyed for ... tell me how they were terrible. Tell me what he should have done.

The Garrard signing, by the way, is being panned because David Garrard is not a franchise quarterback and Ireland has promised a reach for a franchise QB this offseason. "We need to add a quarterback that can get us over the hump," he's told The Miami Herald.

No kidding. That's been the case for a decade, including five offseasons during Ireland's employment in Miami. And Garrard is not that guy.

But Ireland hasn't said he is. Ireland hasn't said that's his signature QB move of the spring. Seems to me Garrard is a move to add a veteran backup presence who might get a shot to win a job in the short-term. Hello? Compeition is good.

Unless I miss my guess, the Dolphins aren't done adding at quarterback. I believe they will draft a kid on which the club's future hopes will rest. At least that is my sense.

Maybe that rookie will be a bust. Maybe he'll be a star. The point is to rip Ireland for a move not yet made in an offseason not yet complete is hating for hating's sake.

On that front, there's plenty headed in Ireland's direction now. I hear there is a fan protest scheduled for today to rip Ireland. On Sunday, Pittsburgh safety Ryan Clark ripped Ireland on twitter and blamed him for Miami's ills and talked of how "the guy running things is not a good" person.

Then yesterday on NFL Network, former Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter blew up Ireland on national television. He blamed the Dolphins inability to close on, say, Peyton Manning and Flynn on Ireland.

"I think Jeff Ireland has a big part to do with it," Porter said. "I don't think when you come in being recruited by him, you totally believe things coming out of his mouth. I think he's a guy that's not trustworthy. He really doesn't hold up to what a GM's supposed to be."

Well, I really don't think Porter holds up to what a man is supposed to be. Porter is a great guy to have on a team when things are good. But as soon as things go bad, he becomes part of the problem. And as soon as he's no longer getting his way or is out of contract, he bites the hand that feeds him. He previously blew up Cam Cameron. He previously blew up Tony Sparano. He previously blew up Mike Tomlin.

The guy has a history for ripping people that either cut him, let him go in free agency, or stood up to him. So while you don't have to dismiss his criticism, at least understand where it originates.

By the way, this idea that Miami can't land anyone is getting on my nerves. No, they didn't get Harbaugh. No, they didn't land Fisher. No, they didn't get Manning. Which one of those was Ireland responsible for?

Manning, of course.

Well, the Dolphins didn't get Manning. And neither did San Francisco, Arizona, or Tennessee. The Jets, Kansas City, and Seattle all have good to outstanding GMs. None of them could even get a meeting with Manning. So Ireland is a bad guy because the Dolphins swung and missed on Peyton Manning?

Look, I do not agree with every move Ireland makes. To me, the Manning chase was a waste of time that I didn't agree with. I would have been in Mario Williams' jock and tried to sign him and I would have outbid Kansas City for Eric Winston. It would have been two blue chip additions to the team and my overall talent would have gone way up.

Instead the Dolphins are shopping at K-Mart with Artis Hicks and Jamaal Westersomebody.

I also would have gone to the wall (yes, even giving up FOUR first round picks) to land Robert Griffin III. I would have gotten my franchise QB one way or another. Ireland didn't.

But does that make the guy a loser? A man to revile?

Someon hacked into Ireland's Wikipedia page Tuesday and edited in some unkind things about him being born in a Denny's parking lot etc... Maybe that sounds funny to you. Maybe you're cheering the imagination of that move. I guess I'm not talking to you.

I am talking to the folks who are thinking for themselves. Break down the moves on their own merit. Tell me what you would have done. Tell me where you would depart from the current course.

Be fair.

Obviously, Ireland hasn't gotten all his moves right in the past. By the way, no one does. And the pressure is on him to land some, you know, actual stars this offseason because the Dolphins don't have any of those.

He might do that. He might not. But I'm not ready to say this guy is the devil for blowing it when we're only one week into free agency and the draft is on the horizon. I don't judge a team's gameday performance in the second quarter.

I wait until the game's over.

Armando....great points, particularly in RE to Manning and Flynn. I have said all along that the Phins won't overpay for Flynn. I'm sure Philbin told Ross/Ireland what he thought Flynn was worth and what he thought of his overall potential, and that's what they offered up. Some have said it's a low ball offer.....anyone stop to consider that maybe that offer is indeed what Flynn was worth in RE to his potential?

In RE to Manning, I don't think the Dolphins "lost out"....like you said Armando....a lot of other teams "lost out" too. Heck, he's golfing buddies with Wisenhunt and didn't pick AZ....The 49ers finished one game out of the SB and would seem the most promising in that RE, and he didn't pick them....He loves Tenn and has publicly stated in the past that he would like to work for the Titans organization in some capacity...they offered him a "life time" contract, and he didn't pick them.

Yeremiah Bell should never be spoken again in decent company!

He should simply be known furthermore as the "Player Whose Name We Shall Not Mention".

Lets look at reality for a second. I know that's difficult for some of you but, TRY!

The perception of Ireland is that he's a lousy GM, rubs everyone the wrong way. Whether he is or isn't, isn't the question!

The question is does Ross let this lingering cloud hang over our heads or does he wisen up & get rid of him for the good of the franchise?

He is known & viewed as all the bad things people say about him. That's reality. Can't change that. But, if you want the best for the franchise, YOU MOVE ON FROM HIM ASAP!

Idiots everywhere have been saying Tebow cant play or is a gimmick for 10 yrs now

Time to stick your filthy foot in your mouth

Tebow Wins!

The Manning chase was ugh, I mean I understand that his boss was probably behind this, but come on make a stand to the guy, this + the Harbaugh fiasco just gives the impression of ineptitude!

And then Tebow went against a real NFL team and was slaughtered.
Posted by: yippers | March 20, 2012 at 10:15 AM

Exactly! The Broncos and Tebow were slaughtered by any real NFL team that wasn't running on one cylinder due to injury. The good fortune of playing a number of those teams, when they played them is almost mind boggling. How does any team get so lucky as to play some good teams right after they lose a bunch of star players to injury?

One other thing about Sapp and Porter, guys like that have a 'hate' on for guys like Ireland who never played in the NFL. They don't respect him for the fact. They are probably very jealous that he has a position like that and the best they can do is get an occasional gig on NFLNetwork (yes, I now Sapp is a regular). The truth is Jeff Ireland has worked VERY hard to get to where he is, something guys like Sapp and Porter would never do. They played in the NFL, made the big bucks and they are living of their reputations. It's easy for them to sit back and criticize because they don't care, they've made their money. But part of the reason that they'll never be more than, that no team would want to hire them is because of their lack of class and NEED to be heard. They're not the nicest guys and I put ZERO stock into what they have to say. Porter has bad-mouthed three organizations that have dumped him now. Coincidence? I think not.

hey home,

is it a done deal that the broncos are dumping tebow? i mean why not keep him around to learn while watching one of the best ever at the QB position. no one will work harder them peyton and tebow so why wouldn't elway keep him and give him 10-15 plays a game.

What's up bro? We tend to be on the same page when it comes to the draft strategy at times. I agree with what you said that there is no reason to go Riley Reiff for Matt Moore. The idea is never to get your QB killed but Miami is drafting in a position to add a very talented skill player and for a change not grab a building block like Reiff because there is an outside chance Moore shines in this offesne and when I say outside I mean like outside and across the street but nevertheless he will be Miami's starter in 2012.

So just like you I am a guy who believes there is no such thing as reaching on a QB if you are picking outside the top 5. If inside the top 5 you are sacrificing a lot passing up on blue chip prospects but outside the top 5 in most drafts it goes from blue chip who don't always work out either to "potential" with guys like Coples, Ingram and Reiff this year. But then you have Tannehill who I don't see Cleveland picking him at #4. It's just too risky. They sacrificed a lot to build the right way to just take a stab at a player like Tannehill when they will have the chance to pick Blackmon, Claiborne or Trent Richardson who are cream of the crop players at their position and can't be passed on for the 3rd best, rated QB by most account in Tannehill.

Would you pick Tannehill at #8? Would you take him over guys like Quentin Coples or Claiborne if they slipped or would you wait until round #2 and hope for Weeden or Osweiler (who actually is Todd McShay's 29th rated overall prospect)?

UPDATE: For those making it out to the protest at the Davie facilities today at 12/1pm, our advice to you is come armed (with at the very least some signs, catchy protest slogans, maybe printouts of the various articles deriding our franchise that came out this morning so you can toss it on the property, and anything else that is peaceable) and come informed (re: laws regarding peaceful assembly in Davie). FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT, MY CHILDREN!!! ALLAH IS WITH US!!!

Mando, all that said is true, however He still lacks that big splash move that will make him a respectable GM in the NFL.
And that makes him vulnareble of all the attacks he's getting.

For the love of god, please stop addressing that homely idiot! As if he matters!

The more you mention his name, the more annoying he'll get. If you ignore him, he'll go away.

Please! For all of us!

Idiots have been calling people idiots for longer than you've been an idiot.

And, my feet are clean.

Face it, even when Tebow was miraculously winning games at Denver, Elway refused to endorse him. Elway might know a little more about being an NFL QB than you do. He just paid $95M to not have to start him anymore.

Hey Orange Crush, the Elway Broncos got Manning so that jettisoning Tim Tebow could be facilitated.Fox and John didn't like. They didn't him as their guy.

The Tebow circus has left town....his game is sloppy and highschoolish (made up word).....

oh...and the PATS are his daddy...

I'm celebrating the Bell move today. I liked the guy a lot but his time had come. I saw the Crowder move coming last year and the Bell move this year. These are pluses for the organization. Can Jones and Marshall do the job? No idea but we're about to find out.

What I'm really interested to see is what they do with Dansby and what they do with FA Anderson. My guess is if this team starts badly Dansby will be gone by the deadline. Makes no sense to keep him at his salary and I like the guy. Alternatively, they may look to deal him before the draft for a draft pick or two. For me, the next guy with a potential target on his back is Dansby.

The Crusher,

Same here I was never too excited about Gabbert and didn't see it happening but with some pieces in place I hope it's finally go time with skill position guys.

Tebow also adding to his winning ways as an NFL field general averages 5.5 YDs per carry rushing and RB Reggie Bush only earned about 350 more YDs rushing than scrambling QB Tebow last year

Only thing is Reggie Bush and the Dolphins had a LOSING season and Tebow had a remarkable WINNING season

Man That Crack works diferent way , this time make you blind and mute, see not evil hear not evil, What the F, be proud and be real One good cant make any bad correct, Stink because it stink and you are kissing As.. to get Ticket for free or you F the Owner Wife or you like the rest of Miami Front office on Crack.

Thank you, A loco, for posting in all caps. I can skip over the all caps postings and spare myself every moronic thing you have to say.

Thanks again.

I agree on his decision to pass on Alex Smith and Flynn for the price they were wanting so he did well there but he is in my eyes not a good GM and here is why. Several players and ex players laugh at him they think he's a joke. His comments about Dz Bryant's mom haunt our whole franchise to this day. His backstabbing of Sparano with the idiot owner Ross still haunt us to this day. His previous years of overpaying for talent still haunt us to this day. Tell me how we have no franchise QB actually we have no franchise anything now that Marshall is gone and we were still only 15 million under the cap. The closest thing we have to a franchise player now is Jake long and he doesn't score touchdowns. So I say we let Phiblin bring in his own GM that has the his mentality of building through the draft. And I mean drafting good players worth keeping not drafting them then having to cut them a year or two later. History= Jake Long= Great Player but should have picked qb with first overall pick. Chad Henne= Gone, Phillip Merling= Bust, Kendal Langford=Gone, Shawn Murphy= Gone, Donald Thomas= Gone, Jalene Parmale= Gone, Lex Hilliard= Good value for 6th rounder. Lionel Dotson=Gone, Vontae Davis=We shall see, Pat White= Not even in NFL Bust, Sean Smith=Inconsistent. Patrick Turner= Gone, Brian Hartline= Great Value solid mid pick, John Nalbone= Gone, Chris Clemons= Not even sure he is a good backup honestly. Andrew Gardner= Gone, JD Folsom= Gone, Jared Ordrick= We shall see but not a first rounder in my eyes= Koa Misi= Does this guy ever make any plays? John Jerry= Doubt he will ever pan out will probrably be gone after next season, AJ Edds= Gone, Nolan Carroll= Very weak player horrible when he is on the field, Reshad Jones= Jury is still out but good value for round picked, Chris McCoy= Gone, Austin Spitler= Good value for late round pick. Chris Pouncey= Good pick but we needed a qb, Daniel Thomas= Why did we pick this guy instead of Mallet? Clyde Gates= Waiting on him to develop don't hold your breath he will be gone next year, Charles Clay= I like this player but jury is still out. Frank Kearse= Practice squad but he is a seventh rounder. Jimmy Wilson= good value for late round pick. Honestly too many misses on early round picks and that is where a big chunk of our money has been going. Early round picks should be contributing starters and later picks add depth and special teams. We are letting go of many of our early round picks essentially wasting our money and putting in their backups middle round picks to start lol this guy doesn't have a clue and nobody wants to work fo or with him. Get rid of him and lets boycott Ross until he sells the team to a real owner.

Sounds like you got your patsies' jersey delivered to you overnight Kris.F UCK new england,CHEATERS!

How do the low Dolphins do against the Patriots?

TEBOW almost made the Super Bowl coming into a team that was 1-4

Good Job Tebow!

As was mentioned earlier, I would also like to see the Dolphins pick Brandon Weeden, after trading down, not at 8. He's an athlete with a strong arm. He could be ready to start at some point this year. I also agree that the age doesn't matter. If they could pick up another draft pick by trading down, Weeden is the best choice.

Armando this is not Balonpies, is American Football, go back to Cuba or Mexico and play with you head an keep smoking what you are smoking in you F country, because Miami Stinks because the GM and the punk Owner tht only wnt be on Show on on Sports.Keep smoking or eating your Crck that is the best you do Armando, You SUCKS, special this article

What I'm really interested to see is what they do with Dansby and what they do with FA Anderson. My guess is if this team starts badly Dansby will be gone by the deadline. Posted by: Craig M | March 20, 2012 at 10:53 AM

How on earth do you trade a guy with a contract like that? Insinuating it can happen shows how dumb you are!

Not to mention, all this talk of getting rid of Dansby coming from the guy who just a week or 2 ago said Dansby was indespnsible & couldn't let him go because the Jets or Pats would scoop him up.

Now he says he's expendable & will be gone LOLOL

yeah Ozkar...THATS what it sounds like....

The Crusher

Peyton is not splitting QB reps w anyone

Tebow needs his own starting job and it should be on the Miami Dolphins cuz the team is falling apart and let two of their best players go

Are you kidding me? The dolphins were once a proud and winning franchise. They competed at a high level every year, even the FIedler Wannstadt years, where they made the playoffs twice and would have made it in 2002 if Fiedler didn't break his thumb and Ray Lucas didn't give the season away the next four or five games.
Jeff Ireland has no vision. I understand the Marshall move, but there is no one to throw to. He hasn't improved the team at all this offseason, while NE and Buff have. They are falling further out of contention.

It seems Armando is giving credit to Ireland because he has some genius plan that will be implemented in the next few months. He doens't. Ireland lacks imagination, and he's still living off his association with Parcells. Being a NFL GM is one of the greatest jobs available, and Ireland hasn't accomplished or won anything in four years. He had his chance, and seemingly has no vision for this year.

Armando, you cna be the apologist, but we know how this season will play out w/o a WR or an improved rushing or passing defense. another year of missing the playoffs. There should be a rule, if a GM can't win a playoff game in five years, give someone else a chance. Ireland isn't the devil, but he's not a good GM either.

Dolphins are not drafting any QBs

Too many other needs now like DE, DT, WR

Dolphins have to be ALL IN 4 TEBOW

or the franchise is done for another decade of NO Playoffs

Yeah that was a really good article. I agree a lot with what you say. I like the fact that we still have Moore and now a veteran like Garrard for some competition. It's almost a certainty we'll draft a QB this year and I'm hoping it's Kirk Cousins. Sprinkle in a new DE, another WR and a playmaker TE and the Fins don't look too shabby.

Mando, you forgot about the Dez Bryant incident.

The Obama & Armando apology tour!

Craig M,

Yeah Miami did double up in the past with secondary guys but that was all Bill Parcells. Parcells had a history of going secondary early and often going back to his Giants days. Ireland played it safe last year and took what came to him except for the trade up for Daniel Thomas which could be good or not, haven't seen enough of him being 100 percent.

I just don't see Ireland as a guy who gets Miami over the hump and don't trust his evaluations as a whole. This has nothing to do with my personal dislike for the guy but more just what have done? Again, maybe Parcells controlled every move all along but Ireland is supposed to be known for his "eye" in scouting back in Dallas. I hope this holds true.

What a HYPOCRIT (not sure why I'm even addressing you, but whatever),

I think we would all agree things are different from where we were a couple of weeks ago. Manning and Wayne didn't come here and Bell's going. Is there a point to keeping Dansby at this point? He's $9-11 mil a year, not sure if he's a FA after this year or next but the clock is ticking on a 32 year old QB.

If you want to talk football great....if you want to be a smartass with your sarcasm every two posts then f*ck off!! That Ok, with you?

Ireland is like Pig Vomit from the movie Private Parts

Dolphins suck

Tebow wins

Tebow has had three dynamic performances at Sun Life Stadium.

In 2005, he led Ponte Vedra-Neese High to a state championship in his final game.

In 2009, he led the Gators to the BCS Championship against Oklahoma.

In 2011, he led the Broncos to one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history. They became the first team since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970 to erase a 15-point deficit with less than three minutes remaining.

It was the first of six late comebacks for Denver. Tebow ultimately led the 1-4 Broncos to an 8-8 regular-season record and a dramatic overtime victory over Pittsburgh in the first round of the playoffs.

Armando, I think you're missing the point. And I said this yesterday almost word for word. The problem with Jeff Ireland is, correct or not, he is now perceived around the league by many players as a bad guy who cannot be trusted. This perception, I believe, has blacklisted the Dolphins in many players eyes. This is not acceptable and I don't think can be overcome in the short term. That is why he must go.

Last post should have said 'a 32 year old LBER....not QB'.

My bad....

F-ing trolls!

Dolphins suck against the Patriots

Good Point Mando,
I think he is waiting on Bradley from USC next year. All the teams are picking QB either at free agency or draft this year leaving Miami as the only taam looking for a QB next year if they don't get one this year. I think Ireland is looking ahead for next year draft and just putting a team together to compete this year.

Armando, 1. I would have never, ever gotten rid of Marshall while you are looking for a Free Agent QB. What QB wants to come here without a alha receiver??

Mando, I think even Ireland had to know chasing Manning was a waste of time when the Fins asked Dan Marino to contact him in their behalf...We should have at least signed Winston and Mark Anderson if no one else. Who should I blame for our lack of signings? Stephen Ross??

Oh Please Armando, you writing this article like a be-atch. Does poor Jeffrey have something on you. Let me ask all of you something.

If the Jags feel like Garrad wasnt good enough for them, why is he considered good enough for the Dolphins? Shame

This is the worst offseason of Dolphin history.

Hey Kris, what I wanted to tell you about Mallet is this.Perhaps you've read it before, nevertheless here it goes.
With Ryan Mallet's rumored drug indulgences,He would have been like a kid in a candy store in Miami.Thank you Ireland for avoid a disaster and an enticement for Mallet. Now,please Jeff, with your black eye and all, trade for Tim Tebow.NOW JEFF!

Craig, if Tannehill is the plan, then great. However, don't count out Weeden. Moore and Garrard are on expiring contracts. Weeden could still be added and then if Moore craps the bed and Weeden shows he's ready, he can be the guy. Garrard is only there if Moore can't start the season in my opinion.

Don't know why everyone is so down on this move. This is exactly the kind of vet that should be added. The dolphins with the addition of a top draft pick qb will have all sorts of flexibility going forward. No albatross contracts at the qb position on this team.

Hey Andy, what's up man. Yes, we're very similar in Draft strategy.

If one of those top guys fell, I'd go against my better judgment and try for my cake AND eat it too (only because I like Weeden better than Tannehill).

But I have a suspicion they wanted Tannehill all along and will grab him #8. I'm not deadset against that either (about time we drafted a 1st-rd QB). But like you I'd find it hard to pass up on Claiborne or god forbid Blackmon (think Blackmon and Weeden, reunited in the NFL, it's too good to be true)!!!

Getting rid of the Pro Bowl MVP Marshall for a 3rd rounder was a huge mistake

Now What???

We need another #1 WR

Dophoons r doomed

Only Tebow can save this low franchise and frankly
Tebow deserves much better than this ridiculous organization

Dolphin's Suck!

Go Tebow!

I rather trade a sixth rounder to Denver for Tebow than sign some 34 year old QB who peeked 6 years ago. By the way Manning signs a 5 year 90 million dollar contract, WTH is he still really worth that much? I just wished we sucked for lucked last season. Sigh..

No trade for Tim Tebow!

Fans, we will be flying the FIRE IRELAND banner over the stadium for the first 2 home games. Talk of a ticket burning ceremony at the home opener also.. We will get Ireland out. Go to Finsnation.com to help the cause.

That's fair enough...I respect your opinion on Ireland, bud. But he did a nice job getting Moore in FA and getting Bush, where he had his best season in the NFL and he was bashed on here and other places for those moves. He was key in getting Cam Wake from the CFL and you've already mentioned the moves he made in last year's draft (you forgot Wilson in the 7th round, btw). He was right in not making the move for Orton last year, of which he was blasted on here for not making the move. He was also right in not giving up a first and a second for Srason Plamer last year, something that will take the Raiders a while to recover from and also cost them Jason Campbell. I happen to think he was right in not paying Flynn and Smith the money they wanted but let's see.

Craig, I think Dansby is up next on the trading block too. Not sure they'd make the move this year (you gotta keep SOME of your experienced talent), but sooner rather than later if things don't gel nicely.

I won't cry about it either. I like him too, but I like winning more.

Manning price = Way to high

Manning will be croaked in the first few games and Bronco fans will once again want the Home Game Winner and Savoir Tim Tebow!

Go Tebow!

Anyone, including us, drafting Tannehill sooner than bottom 1st rd at best. Are making a HUGE mistake! Marino was drafted 27th and Tannehill cant even dream of being as good as Marino on Marino's worst day.

A couple teams are getting "desperate for a qb"(Miami/Cleveland). Thats the only reason Tannehill's name is now being mentioned in the 1st rd.

PURE DESPERATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also would not have cut Bell and opened another gaping hole in the roster AFTER Free Agency is a week in. I also see no respect for players. A lot of people did not like Henne, but there was no press releases from the team. Even a thank you for your time and good luck. There is no connection with the average fan, just silence. Then they make highly publicized chases for players and coaches that never pan out. Add in the fact he stabbed Sporano in the back. Yea I don't like him.

Tannehill SUCKS!

He lost in college and got his coach (lol, now the Dolphins coach, Sherman) fired last year

So we want a college LOSING QB ???????????

U Girls r hopeless!
