Armando,
Do you have any idea why Mel Kiper NEVER agrees with a pick we make?

Sparano also suppose to be able to develop OLmen. We all know how that turn out!!

Wait a minute!
Apparently Ireland just loves to gamble!
04/26/2012 - ROB RANG'S TOP 50 PLAYERS OF THE 2012 NFL DRAFT: 27. Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford*: While each of the rest of Stanford's "Fantastic Four" prospects met or exceeded expectations at their March 22 Pro Day, Martin, frankly, was a disappointment. It is hard to argue with the success he's had protecting Luck's blindside over the past three seasons but demonstrating less athleticism than expected during drills, some have concerns that he doesn't possess the feet to remain at left tackle in the NFL. Worse, with just 20 repetitions in the bench press, some worry that Martin might struggle at right tackle. I'm moving him down my board but do still believe that he'll ultimately
hear his name called in the first round. - Rob Rang, NFLDraftScout.com

Bro, I forgot we have two #3 picks. Hmm..
Posted by: oscar canosa | April 27, 2012 at 08:08 PM
Awesome!! An offensive lineman!!! More proof that idiot Ireland thinks we are still in the 70's. Maybe he'll take a punter next!!!!!! What a genius!!!
Posted by: amsmith965 | April 27, 2012 at 08:08 PM
dusty, 300# is normal at that position. They also have to have that upper-body strength which is a must.
Posted by: gus | April 27, 2012 at 08:09 PM
Reading Ireland's comments, he said Martin is a Left Tackle. Interesting considering Jake Long is a FA next year. Could be leverage in a new deal
Posted by: Jon | April 27, 2012 at 08:09 PM
This is really a perfect fit. Since Ireland says that the draft is his favorite time of the year, his idiotic decisions will continue to ensure that we finish low enough to keep us in the top 10! YAaaaaaaaa!!!
Posted by: amsmith965 | April 27, 2012 at 08:09 PM
Ireland must die!!!!
Posted by: amsmith965 | April 27, 2012 at 08:10 PM
if so jon ireland is even more retarded than any of us knew
Posted by: dusty bottoms | April 27, 2012 at 08:11 PM
BOYCOTT THE DOLPHINS UNTIL IRELAND IS FIRED!! WE’RE TIRED OF THE LOSING! HELP MAKE A CHANGE!!

Dolphins 2012:
2-14 overall. 0-6 in afc east
Both Ross and Ireland are "happy with our progress"

You people who say tannehill will sit are insane. I don't know how to handle insane fans, only relatives, but here goes, some simple undisputed facts:
1. You don't draft a qb in the first to sit unless u have manning or favre.
2. The knock on tannehill is game experience. Guess how he he gets more of that dum dum.
3. He will get approx 7 mill a year. If he's a bust, I don't want to find out on his second year and 14 mill to late.
4. The qb gotten 14 picks after tannehill has already been named starter to a team that already has a starter unlike us.
5. Anyone wanting him to sit has both never played football, and has not watched the last five years of rookie qbs in the nfl
6. No matter how bad philbin and Sherman are at their respective positions this year, if tannehill sits, it guarantees them two years at least, even if they make cam look like a hof head coach.
I'm done ranting to the dead. I just want all of you to note this: you better check out a qb at notre dame named gunner Kiel, a freshman, get used to that name because we will be debating whether to trade up from three to one to draft him in 2017..
Posted by: inimounts | April 27, 2012 at 08:13 PM
Martin hasGREAT technique. It's easier to add muscle than skill. Martin was projected to be a RT. he is a day one starter. Don't be shocked if tannehill is the starter before week 8
Posted by: Jaison | April 27, 2012 at 08:13 PM
BE A BUMMER FOR GUNNER IN '17!!! Lmao, admit it, that's clever. :)
Posted by: inimounts | April 27, 2012 at 08:14 PM
Jaison, I'll only be shocked if we've won a game by week 8. Although Ireland will still say we're making "progress"
Posted by: amsmith965 | April 27, 2012 at 08:15 PM
lol u guys think sprano is still the coach. philbin isnt a fool, tannehill wont see the field and u should be glad about that. let him sit couple years
Posted by: dusty bottoms | April 27, 2012 at 08:15 PM
Oh! Now dusty wants him to sit a COUPLE YEARS!! I can't help it, you guys are Fuckin morons.
Posted by: inimounts | April 27, 2012 at 08:17 PM
It's no longer a joke....be a bummer for GUNNER in 2017!
Posted by: inimounts | April 27, 2012 at 08:18 PM
You so called fans act like total tools. Enjoy how the draft is unfolding. This team is filling out nicely. Stop your whining and be real fans by supporting your team.
Posted by: ME finsfan | April 27, 2012 at 08:23 PM
I don't think the phins see themselves as wr starved as their fans. They still have Bess, Hartline, Moore, Gates, & Wallace. I see them trying to develope this group this tear while getting defensive help in the 3rd round.

Uh. This is real life not madden.
2. The knock on tannehill is game experience. Guess how he he gets more of that dum dum.
He doesn't get experience if he gets beaten up because he can't be protected.
3. He will get approx 7 mill a year. If he's a bust, I don't want to find out on his second year and 14 mill to late.
You should actually look at the rookie wage scale before saying stupid things.
4. The qb gotten 14 picks after tannehill has already been named starter to a team that already has a starter unlike us.
McCoy wasn't starting caliber. That QB is 29 and has to be started right away.
5. Anyone wanting him to sit has both never played football, and has not watched the last five years of rookie qbs in the nfl
Two stupid statements in one sentence. Bravo.
6. No matter how bad philbin and Sherman are at their respective positions this year, if tannehill sits, it guarantees them two years at least, even if they make cam look like a hof head coach.
More idiocy and not a single fact.

ME fins fan, so you're saying "support the team" by ignoring the fact that these guys ate idiots and we are going to finish in last place for the next 5 to 10 years?? I didn't realize that's what being a fan meant.
Posted by: amsmith965 | April 27, 2012 at 08:25 PM
3rd rd Brandon Boykin CB Georgia
3rd rd Mohamed Sanu WR Rutgers
Posted by: B33RCA53 | April 27, 2012 at 08:26 PM
Thanks ESPN had the pick coming from CAR. Threw me off. It went to Chi from CAR to us.
Posted by: Phins13 | April 27, 2012 at 08:30 PM
U know what really sucks? Im at the gym so I'm stuck with ESPN. Berman stopped being funny and knowledgeable three years ao and bill polian is about as lifelike as a cactus and equally as dreary. He doesn't like anybody, how did he ever pick players??!
Posted by: inimounts | April 27, 2012 at 08:30 PM
Dammit b33r are u pulling names out of ur ass?!?! Both those players are reaches in te third, the words 'sanu lights up revis!' are unlikely.
Posted by: inimounts | April 27, 2012 at 08:32 PM
Omar says Long is out the door, won't be resigned. Rookie will take his place and switch back to his natural position at LT, after he plays RT this season. We can get MAD trades with Jake.
Posted by: Samantha | April 27, 2012 at 08:33 PM
Not a sexy pick
Posted by: thepirate19 | April 27, 2012 at 08:35 PM
cant get any trades with jake if hes a free agent. and martin isnt a lt, at best a rt. franchise long
Posted by: dusty bottoms | April 27, 2012 at 08:37 PM
A good o line and no blockbuster wr. Should be fun.
Posted by: thepirate19 | April 27, 2012 at 08:41 PM
Sanu would probably be a #1 WR on the phins this year...
Boykin reminds me of Will Allen with ball skills and KR/PR ability
Posted by: B33RCA53 | April 27, 2012 at 08:45 PM
Mando,
Thx for the hard work on the blog. Do you see any TE's @ a good value in the 3rd rd for the phins?
Posted by: Eric | April 27, 2012 at 08:46 PM
I'm just hoping they fall into the 3rd rd both are projected 2nd rd
Posted by: B33RCA53 | April 27, 2012 at 08:46 PM
Thye should trade back into 2nd round and get lavonte or curry
Posted by: Crtz | April 27, 2012 at 08:51 PM
Dwayne Allen in 3rd would be a great pickup

Crickets..
Posted by: WestTNFinFan | April 27, 2012 at 09:37 PM
We now have the worst wr core in the damn league. Don't care what offensive system u run...now we take a lazy Oliver Vernon. What are we counting on Naane to be our number 1. LOL!
Posted by: Stra8balla | April 27, 2012 at 09:41 PM
Why the trade
Posted by: jrljr2 | April 27, 2012 at 09:43 PM
Could someone explain the trade ? What do the Dolphins win with this trade ?
Posted by: marchcool | April 27, 2012 at 09:47 PM
What did they get for the trade?
Posted by: WestTNFinFan | April 27, 2012 at 09:47 PM
Ok I just saw it. The dolphins got an additional pick in later rounds (6th or 7th) from chargers.
Posted by: marchcool | April 27, 2012 at 09:49 PM
It just goes to show that these so called "experts" Kiper, etc. don't know their a** from a hole in the ground. The tackle the Dolphins took is PERFECT for the type of blocking scheme they are going to employ (zone blocking). They are all crying "he needs more strength and punch" this guy is a perfect bookend for Long. Now go get a couple WRs or TEs that can run. That Sanu dude from Rutgers is a bad a**.
Posted by: Fatty Parcells | April 27, 2012 at 09:52 PM
78 and 183
Posted by: hjreyes | April 27, 2012 at 09:52 PM
they are going wr and none of the teams in front are taking one this round. good trade for fins
Posted by: JP | April 27, 2012 at 09:52 PM
Wtf we got garbage for Marshall and now we just turned that into a 6th round pick. Ireland is an idiot. What did that gain us. Nothing
Posted by: Tony | April 27, 2012 at 09:53 PM
Slid 6 spots and picked up another.. WR next please!
Posted by: WestTNFinFan | April 27, 2012 at 09:53 PM
to be specific the 13th pick in 6th round. The dolphins got also the 26th in that round. So the dolphins moved back a little bit in 3rd round and got that additional pick from chargers at 6th.
Posted by: marchcool | April 27, 2012 at 09:54 PM
Tony,
What have we lost by sliding back?
Posted by: Jordan | April 27, 2012 at 09:56 PM
All the world is a stage. Jeff is the Ashton Kutcher of GM's.
Posted by: Mayvon Trartin | April 27, 2012 at 09:58 PM
Has anyone seen our draft grade yet, I keep missing it.
Posted by: PA finfan | April 27, 2012 at 09:59 PM
Ireland's big move. Move back to 78 to get 183 ??? I guess he felt like he had to do something to show he was there.
Posted by: Jimmy Tyson | April 27, 2012 at 10:00 PM
O. Vernon was ranked like 175 in some boards !!
Does somebody has information about this player ?
Is he good, bad, a potential bust ?
Posted by: marchcool | April 27, 2012 at 10:00 PM
sanu or streeter WR position???
Posted by: finzfan13 | April 27, 2012 at 10:01 PM
I jumped the gun. Thought they gave up 3rd pick for a moment
Posted by: Tony | April 27, 2012 at 10:02 PM
We got an extra pick and still gonna get the wr they wanted
