Coming to you live from South Beach, pulling my daughter in a wagon to Flamingo Park pool, this is David Neal, guest blogging for vacationing Armando.
The Dolphins have signed defensive tackle Kheeston Randall, a seventh-round pick, to a four-year deal. After not participating in the signing blizzard, the Dolphins have signed Randall and sixth-round wide receiver B.J. Cunningham this week.
The only certainty is Oregon's Josh Kaddu won't be the next one -- the school's on the quarters system and, by NFL rule, he can't even take a physical before June 16. I heard the third rounders around the league might take a little time also as agents actually are loathe to be early in that slotting.

Mira, llego David!

We signed a new DT? Great. I still plan on winning the QB contest. Fins up!!
Posted by: Pat Devlin | May 20, 2012 at 10:10 PM
lol on the last post the guy claiming to be QB Pat Delvin! heads up home boy lets just say u are Pat Delvin even though we both know u ain't him. i don't care if u come out in training camp and pre-season and let's say on every pass u complete it so let's say u go 500 for 500 in pass attemps and completions so that is 100% on 500 passes with let's say 0 interceptions! and 30 td's and 5,000 yards u still wouldent be the starting QB lol u probly wouldent even make the team lol!
Posted by: robert | May 20, 2012 at 11:43 PM
ok everybody this is my take on the QB postion tell me what u think MR. Armando Salguero! ok 1st off i do not know why the dolphins went out and signed david garrard the guy is old he throws alot of int's and he is not a primetime starting QB he is a above average backup and a average to poor starting QB he been in the league for lkike what 10+ years he is 35 years old about to retire and he has never been to a superbowl and never been to a AFC vhampionship game and i don't think he has ever been to a divisional playoff game! i think he has only been to a wildcard playoff game if i am thinking correctly but i knmow he has never been to the AFC championship game so that means in over 10 years in the nfl he has never won a divisional playoff game which is pothetic and the dolphins bring him into compete for the starting job are u kidding me? what u think armando? i think it's stupid as hell and the dolphins have no brains
Posted by: robert | May 20, 2012 at 11:48 PM
here is another question for u Armando Salguero! 1st of all the dolphins need to fire i think the hole upper organzation staff of the dolphins! they all suck and what i mean by that is starting at president vice president genral manager the hole scouting department from the scouting manager to the very bottom of the bucket get rid of them all! now the only people that need to stay on the team that is envolved in like coaching staff and upper personal is basically the coaching staff! so keep the new head coach philibin and his entire staff! but everybody else that is in personal get rid of everybody period end of story! then what the dolphins need to do is bring in somebody like the big boy himself ex steelers coach bill cowher hire him to be the general manager i think he would know what to do with the organzation! the reason why i say this is because he has always had the power in his system he ran everything from top to bottom had 100% control so he knows what it takes to be a GM! then i say let him hire everybody within the scouting department and everybody else in the top of the organzation except for the vice president and president! now for that postion i would say for the dolphins owner him self to become the new president of the dolphins so he can become more involved as the dolphins owner more hands on the handsoff and just trying to make money because u needs to be hands on in the nfl as a owner to be a winner! but most importantly the dolphins need to bring in a new chief exceuctive officer known as a CEO! currently his name is Mike Dee but the dolphins need to get rid of him and move on and bring in the new CEO AND ALSO HE SHOULD HAVE ANOTHER POSTION on top of CEO so the new CEO AND ALSO THE NEW CHIEF EXCECTUIVE OFFICER OF ALL PLAYER PERSONAL AND COACHING PERSONAL AND DECISIONS! WHICH WOULD BE CALLED C-E-O OF -P-C-P-D! LOL I KNOW IT SOUNDS UGLY BUT U KNOW WHAT THE NAME OF THE PERSON TAKING OVER AS CEO OF THE COMPANY AND LIKE I SAID ALL PLAYER AND COACHING DECISIONS! AND HIS NAME IS THE GREAT AND LEGEND OF DOLPHINS HISTORY THE GREAT DAN THE MAN MARINO! BABY DAN MARINO! now with all that hype of him comming back to be with the dolphins and to be there on game day and not in the booth but out there on the field standing next to head coach philbin! i think dan marino could turn the dranchise around and also fill dolphins stadium to the max of 82,000 fans! but like i said put BILL COWHER AS THE GENRAL MANAGER AND LET HIM TAKE CONTROL OF ALL PLAYER PERSONAL DESCISIONS LIKE DRAFTING,SIGNING FREE AGENTS SIGNING CURRENT PLAYERS TO NEW CONTRACTS NEW COACHES IF NEEDED! STUFF LIKE THAT A GENRAL MANAGER DOES BUT BEFORE ANYTHING IS SET IN STONE BILL COWHER WOULD HAVE TO GO TO DAN MARINO AND GET ALL PLAYER AND COACH DECISONS APPROVED! SO THIS WAY IT HAS TO GO UP THE LADDER TO GET IT APPROVED SO THIS WAY IT DON'T STICK ON 1 MAN SHOULDERS THIS WAY IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG IT AIN'T JUST THE COACHES FAULT OR THE GMS FAULT IT WILL BE THE COACHES THE GENRAL MANAGER AND ALSO THE C-E-O DAN MARINOS FAULT! SO THIS WAY ALL 3 GUYS HAVE TO LOVE THE DECISION THEY ARE MAKING BECAUSE OTHER WISE IT WILL GET VETOED BY EITHER THE GM OR BY MARINO! BASICALLY THIS WAY IT AIN'T THE COACHES FAULT FOR ANYTHING EXCEPT FOR WHAT GOES ON DURING GAME DAY HOW HE COACHES THE GAME AND HIS PLAYERS PLAY THE GAME IT AIN'T HIS FAULT FOR ANYTHING THAT GOES ON OFF THE FIELD! WHAT U THINK AMRANDO
Posted by: robert | May 21, 2012 at 12:11 AM
@Robert Are you smoking crack? Yea let's bring in Bill Cower to run the Dolphins LOL he was in the NFL for something like 20 years and only won one Superbowl and the Superbowl he one was fixed by the refs.
You are the most ignorant person on this blog and you have no business talking about the Dolphins. Go back to playing madden because you know nothing about the real NFL!
Posted by: roberto is a joke | May 21, 2012 at 12:21 AM
HEY Armando Salguero WHAT U THINK ABOUT THIS AND ANSWER MY QUESTION AND DON'T IGNORE ME PLEASE LIKE U BEEN DOING WITH EVERY QUESTION I ASK U! OK WHAT DO U THINK ABOUT THE DOLPHINS GOING TO A 2 MAN QB ROSTER? SO THE DOLPHINS GO OUT THERE AND PUT RYAN TANNERHILL THE 1ST STRING AND MATT MOORE THE 2ND STRING,OR PUT MATT MOORE 1ST STRING AND RYAN TANNERHILL THE 2ND STRING IF TANNERHILL AIN'T READY YET! I JUST DON'T SEE THE NEED FOR A 3RD STRING QB IT TAKES UP A ROSTER SPACE U COULD USE FOR A RB,WR,OL,OR,DE! PLUS IT ALSO TAKES UP BIG MONEY IN THE SALARY CAP! I MEAN THINK ABOUT IT U DON'T EVER USE YOUR 3RD STRING! I MEAN CRAP IF YOUR STARTER GOES DOWN IN A GAME U BRING IN YORU 2ND STRING! THEN IF YOUR STARTER IS OUT FOR THE YEAR U GO OUT AND SIGN SOMEBODY OFF OF WAIVERS TO TRY AND COMETE AND EITHER START OR TO BACKUP YOUR STARTER! SO YET AGAIN THE GUY THAT WAS YORU 3RD STRING QB IS RIGHT BACK TO BEING YORU 3RD STRING QB! SO IN MY OPION IT IS A COMPLETE WASTE TO HAVE A 3RD STRING QB! NOW U MIGHT SAY WELL WHAT HAPPENS IF U LOSE BOTH QB IN THE SAME GAME AND U NEED TO BRING IN YOUR 3RD STRING QB WELL GUESS WHAT THAT HAS HAPPENDED LIKE MAYBE 3 TIMES IN THE HOLE 50+YEARS OF THE NFL LOL SO CHANCES ARE THAT WON'T HAPPEN AND IF IT DOES HAPPEN THEN GUESS WHAT JUST PUT IN A RB OR TE AND WR THAT CAN THROW THE FOOTBALL BECAUSE EVERYBODY GREW UP IN THERE LIFE AND THREW THE FOOTBALL ALMOST EVERYBODY WANTED TO BE A QB WHEN THE GREW UP PLAYING FOOTBALL LOL! BUT IF U CANT THROW IT THEN GUESS WHAT THEN JUST RUN THE BALL EVERY PLAY AND BASICALLY LOSE THE GAME IT'S ONLY 1 GAME AND ODDS ARE EVEN IF U HAD A 3RD STRINGER TO PUT IN THE GAME THE CHANCES ARE U WOULD LOSE THAT GHAME ANYWAY LIK 99% OF THE TIME LOL! BUT LIKE THE DOLPHINS THEY SHOULD JUST KEEP 2 QBS TANNERHILL AND MATT MOORE! BUT LET'S SAY THEY DO DECIDE TO KEEP 3 QB'S WHICH THEY PROBLY WILL DO! I THINK THE DOLPHINS IF THEY WERE SMART THEY WOULD GET RID OF DAVID GARRAD BECAUSE THIS WAY THEY WOULDENT HAVE TO PAY THE GUY THE 2-3 MILLIOIN DOLLARS THEY SIGNED HIM FOR! SO THAT WAY THEY GET RID OF HIM AND THEY DON'T HAVE TO PAY HIM THIS YEAR OR NEXT YEAR IF THEY SIGNED HIM FOR NEXT YEAR ALSO BECAUSE I THINK THEY SIGNED HIM DFOR 2 YEARS! SO I HOPE THEY CUT HIM NOW AND GET RID OF HIM TO SAVE THE TEAM 2-3 MILLION BUCKS OFF THERE SALARY CAP THIS YEAR AND NEXT YEAR! PLUS TO TOP IT OFF I WATCHED PAT DELVIN PLAY LAST YEAR IN PRACTICE AND ALSO PRESEASON AND TO TELL U THE TRUTH HE PLAYED PRETTY DAMN WELL FOR JUST COMMING OUT OF COLLEGE THE YEAR BEFORE! HE HAS A GREAT ARM AND THROWS THE BALL VERY WELL WITH A TIGHT SPIRAL AND HE IS ALSO ACURATE! SO I THINK HE WOULD BE A VERY GOOD 3RD STRINGER IF THEY GET RID OF HIM HE WON'T LAST VERY LONG HE WILL GET PICKED UP VERY QUICKLY WITHIN HOURS AND THEN HE IS LOST FOR EVER BY THE DOLPHINS! BUT ANYWAYS IF THE DOLPHINS KEEP HM AND MAKE HIM THERE 3RD STRINGER IT WOULD ALSO HELP THEM NEXT YEAR ALSO! BECAUSE THEN IN 2013 THE DOLPHNINS CAN GET RID OF MATT MOORE AND SAVE ANOTHER 4 MILLION OFF THERE SALARY CAP SINCE HE IS A FREE AGENT NEXT YEAR! SO CUT GERRAD THIS YEAR AND THEN CUT MOORE NEXT YEAR THEN WE WILL HAVE RYAN TANNERHILL AS THE #1 QB AND THEN OUR #2 WILL BE PAT DELVIN! AND OUR #3 CAN BE NOBODY WE COULD MAKE REGGIE BUSH OUR #3 EMERGENCY BACKUP QB IF EITHER TANNERHILL AND DELVIN BOTH WENT DOWN TO INJURY IN 2013! I KNOW REGGIE BUSH CAN PLAY QB I THINK HE WAS A QB IN HIGHSCHOOL AND HE ALSO THROWS THE BALL ALOT IN COLLEGE DURING ALOT OF TRICK PLAYS AND HE HAS DID A COUPLE WITH THE DOLPHINS TRICK PLAYS THROWING THE BALL PU IT THIS WAY HE THROWS THE BALL 100X'S BETTER THEN RONNIE BROWN DID FOR THE DOLPHINS LOL! SO WHAT DO U THINK ABOUT THIS SITUATION Armando Salguero?

WELL I WROTE A HUGE STORY BUT THEY PUT IT ON THEN ERASED IT I DON'T KNOW WHY BUT HEY IF U CAN STILL SEE IT I KNOW U WON'T READ THE HOLE THING GUYS BUT IF U READ THE LAST LIKE 10 -20 LINES U WILL SEE WHY I GOT SO MAD ABOUT THAT CRAP
Posted by: robert | May 21, 2012 at 05:01 AM
my freshamn year in 96 i made the varsity team in try outs. i hate great 2 years but the best was the 3rd year and the 4th year was awsome till something bad hapopend and screwed my life all up! now the best part the 3rd year I led the state in sacks and we lost 1 game the hole year now you have to say that is awsome when you lead state of florida hell yeah guess how many sacks I had my junior year I had 31 sacks! Now I know what your saying holy crap how did you get 31 sacks when high school football you only play between 8-10 games a year! which in my district we played 9 games a year which like I said my 3rd season when I was 16 we went 8-1 during the season and I had 31 sacks as a deffensive end! well in 1 game i got 12 sacks in 1 game! holy crap yes I know! but guess what 12 sacks in a high school game ain't even the record 14 is the record can u believe that!!!well the next game i got 10 sacks so anyway i got 22 sacks in 2 games! now with that said i had a total of 31 sacks the hole year. now finally the last year I played which was when I was 17 and I ended up getting 20 something sacks but anyways that is when my football career hit the big one when I was playing in my game and I ripped my ACL,MCL,PCL,and,LCL! Now with all that said yeah i totally messed my career up so yes i do know alot more about football then you! i had a free scholarship to just about any school in the country for my football career! i accepted to go to OHIO STATE BUCKEYES because they are my faviorate college team but i had every college offer me to come i even had notredame come to my house USC,FSU,ALABAMA,MICHIGAN EVERYBODY! BUT YEAH I CHOSE OHIO STATE UNIVERISTY GO BUCKEYES BABY! BUT THEN IN MY 8TH GAME I REMEBER THAT CRAP LIKE YESTERDAY EVEN THOUGH IT WAS 11 YEARS AGO! I WAS TRYING TO GO THROUGH THE LEFT TACKLE WHEN ME AND HIM WERE CONTACTED TOGETHER THE GUARD DECIDED THAT HE WANTED TO PLAY NASTY AND OUT OF NO WHERE I FEEL A PAIN JUST SHATTER MY KNEE! WELL I WAS TOLD THAT WHEN ME AND THE LEFT TACKLE WAS LOCKED UP by him holfding me! THE GUARD DECIDED TO CHOP BLOCK ME ON MY KNEE AND BY DOING THAT HE MADE ME TEAR ALL 4 OF MY LIGAMENTS IN MY LEFT KNEE! YEAH WELL JUST BEFORE I GRADUATED I WAS TOLD BY MY COACH THAT THE PLAYER THAT TOOK MY KNEE OUT AND BLEW ALL 4 LIGAMENTS IN MY KNEE THAT MADE ME LOSE MY 100% PAID FOR SCHOLARSHIP TO OIHO STATE UNIVERSITY! ALSO I PROBLY WOULD OF BEEN MAKING MILLIONS IN THE NFL RIGHT NOW! BUT LIKE I WAS SAYING YEAH THE KID THE TOOK MY KNEE OUT ON PURPOSE ACTUALLY WAS BANNED FOR 2 YEARS WHICH IS WHAT HE HAD LEFT HE WAS A SOPHOMORE SO THEY TOOK AWAY FOOTBALL FROM HIM IN HIGHSCHOOL BUT THAT AIN'T NOTHING CAUSE HE SUCKED WHAT HE DID IS TAKE AWAY COLLEGE FOOTBALL FROM ME FOR 4 YEARS AND MAYBE EVEN THE NFL FOR 15 YEARS! I WAS TOLD BY EVERYBODY HIGH SCHOOL COACHES COLLEGE COACHES THAT SCOUTED ME AND PEPOPLE THAT WATCHED ME PLAY FOOTBALL ALL TOLD ME THAT I WAS ONE OF THEM LUCKY PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY HAD A SHOT TO MAKE IT BIG IN THE NFL! BUT ALL THAT WAS TAKEN AWAY FROM ME BY SOME JERK THAT COULDENT STAND SOMEBODY BEING BETTER THEN HIM! BUT THE SAD THING IS THAT NOT ONLY DID HE TAKE AWAY MY FOOTBALL DREAM OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL AND NFL FOOTBALL! HE ALSO TOOK MY COLLEGE DREAM AWAY! BECAUSE AFTER THAT I NEVER WENT TO COLLEGE! I THINK THE MAIN REASON WHY IS BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE THE MONEY TO GO TO A UNIVERSITY LIKE OSU OR USC OR FSU AND ONCE THEY TOOK THE SCHOLARSHIP AWAY DUE TO THE FACT I COULDENT PLAYFOOTBALL ANYMORE! AND I COULDENT LIVE UP TO GOING TO SOME STATE COLLEGE LIKE IRCC OR FAU OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT IT WOULDENT OF BEEN THE SAME I COULDENT BE AROUND IT I WOULD OF BEEN SO DEPRESSED! SO DON'T TELL ME ABOUT FOOTBALL JERKOFF I KNOW WAY MORE THEN YOU DO! BECAUSE I LIVED IT!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: robert | May 21, 2012 at 05:16 AM
. ALL U JERKS THAT SAID I DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT FOOTBALL WHY DON'T U READ THAT HOLE ESSAY I JUST PUT UP THERE AND IT WILL MAKE U BITE YOUR TOUNGE AND MAKE U FEEL LIKE A REAL JERKOFF! YES THE STORY IS SAD BUT U KNOW WHAT IT'S THE TRUTH AND IT PROVES HOW MUCH U DON'T KNOW A DAMN THING AND HOW MUCH I KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT FOOTBALL! FROM SOMEBODY LIKE ME THAT PLAYED POP WERNER HIGH SHCOOL FOOTBALL THAT BASICALLY BROKE ALL FLORIDA RECORDS WHEN IT COMES TO SACKS AND DEFFNESE! ALSO HAD EVERY COLLEG WANT HIM ON THERE TEAM EVERY COLLEGE GIVE ME A FREE SCHOLARSHIP TO COME THERE AND PLAY FOOTBALL I ACCPET TO OSU TO PLAY FOR THE BUCKEYES AND THEN SOME LOSER PUNK KIDS CAN'T STAND THAT I HAVE SCOUTS AT EVERY GAME LOOKING AT ME AND WANTING ME BADLY TO DECIDE TO TAKE OUT MY KNEE AND MAKE ME BLOW NOT JUST 1 LIGAMENT BUT EVERY SINGLE LIGAMENT IN MY KNEE ACL,MCL,LCL,PCL! NOW U CAN COME BACK FROM MAYBE FROM LIKE AN ACKL TEAR BUT WHEN U SHRED EVERY LIGAMENT IN YOUR KNEE I'M LUCKY I'M NOT A GIMP! NOW IN THE YEAR 2012 IF A NFL PLAYER WAS TO TEAR ALL 4 LIGAMENTS IN THERE KNEE THE CHANCES OF THEM RETURNING IS LIKE A 1% CHANCE! SO FAR THERE HAS ONLY BEEN 1 PERSON TO TEAR 3 LIGAMENTS IN THERE KNEE AND BEEN ABLE TO COME BACK AND PLAY AT A DECENT LEVEL AND THAT WAS GOOD OLD QB DAUTE CULPEPPER WHEN HE CAME BACK AND PLAYED FOR THE DOLPHINS ON HIS 1ST YEAR COMMING OFF OF HIS BIG 3 TEAR KNEE SURGERY! NOW HE WAS A qb IMAGINE IF HE WAS A DE WHERE U HAVE TO PLANT TURN TWIST AND GET HIT IN YOUR KNEES ALL THE TIME HE WOULD OF BEEN DONME IN THE 1ST GAME AND HE DIDN'T HAVE 4 LIGAMENTS RIPPED LIKE ME HE HAD 3 OUT OF THE 4 LIGMENTS U GOT IN YOUR KNEE! BUT I MESSED MINE UP IN 1999-2000 THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE TE\CHNOLOGY AND EASY SURGERY LIKE THEY HAVE NOW! NOW IT'S ALL ATHRISCOPIC SURGERY THEY TAKE A TUBE AND A CAMERA AND IT'S EASY 1 2 3 AND U ARE WALKING 3 days and jogging a couple weeks after! shoot back in 2000 they had a knife tools and a mri machine they looked at before the surgery! then after surgery u ain't walking for a month and u ain't jogging for a year! and u don't have just 1 surgery like u do now u have like 5sugerys 1 every month or 2! shoot i had 7 surgerys total! on my knee so 7 surgerys to repaid 4 ligaments so that way i can walk and i am not gimping around so don';t tell me u knwo more cause u dont!

2 things…
1. Robert you are a complete tool. Please do not infer other people are stupid when you do not know the difference between “whole” & “hole”. BTW Armanda is on VACA so he won’t be answering.
2. Woodrow Wilson was a racist who aired a KKK film “Birth of a Nation” in the White House. He screwed this country up more than any other president in US history. You “might” know beer but you know jack sh*t about US history. For that you are an even bigger tool than Robert.

oh yeah just to let u know i also had a 5.0 GPA which is the highest u can get. now alot of people think the highest u can get is a 4.0 GPA but that is only true if u only taken regular classes! now if u are in all honor classes and take extra college courses u can get a higher GPA and be maxes out at 5.0 GPA! so i just figured i would let u know how dumb u really are. and by the way i was #1 in my class of 2000! so go get a life! now the sad part about it is i had a full scholarship for football and i couldent get a full scholarship based on my grades it's because i'm white and not hispanic or black! which they offer alot of special needs scholarship money to people that ain't white! which is pretty sad i think it should be for everybody not just for every race but white people!

I just worry that changing to a West Coast style offense won't be as easy as some think. It normally takes a couple of years for everyone to adjust to it because of the timing between the QB and the receivers. Also, our O-line may struggle with the new zone blocking scheme. Hopefully, our Defense will be okay since we basically ran a hybrid-style D last year. If the rookies step up (and some 2nd & 3rd year players too), we may surprise a lot of folks this year. But, we haven't even had a Pre-season game yet, so it's all speculation at this point...

Posted by: oscar canosa | May 22, 2012 at 09:38 AM
West coast offense is the easiest offense their is. That's why we are using a college playbook.
