Bush season not threatened by knee injury

Dolphins coach Joe Philbin said he didn't know what Reggie Bush's status is and the running back had already left the locker room when the media was allowed in following today's 23-20 overtime loss to the Jets.

But a source tells me the injury to Bush's left knee is not season-threatening.

In fact, Bush initially expected to go back into today's game but then the knee stiffened on him. Bush will go for a re-check Monday to make sure nothing is wrong beyond the minor damage that caused the stiffness.

He should be OK.

[UPDATE: Bush had an MRI Monday morning. He has no major issues. He may miss some practice time but he could be available as early as Sunday's game at Arizona. He should be 100 percent within a week.]

What I'm shocked at is the fact that you're not the most highly paid executive in the league because there's not a GM in the league that could make that claim after three games. In my opinion (LOL) Ross is to blame for most of this. He needs to stop listening to fans and trust football people. Let's look at what we lost last year. A very good young HC, Marshall, Mike Nolan, and Brian Daboll. When you have something that is working you make it better you don't tear it apart. Moore was flourishing under Daboll's offense. The defense is pretty good, we are deep at RB, and the O-Line has improved after getting rid of Colombo.

You give up on the 11th rated passer and team MVP Matt Moore. He was rated above Vick, Palmer, Newton, and Dalton. I would have drafted Michael Floyd. Can you imagine Marshall, Floyd, Bess, Hartline and Bush out of the back field. With a full training camp there is no telling how far we would have gone this year. We definitely would have beaten the Jets today.

It is too early to judge Tannehill. I am very concerned with his inaccuracy. I am not sure if that is something that can be corrected. I have hope because you do see flashes from Tannehill. We just have to see improvement from week to week. Right now he is not going through his progressions. He just locks on one player. If he happens to be open he often completes if and if not he throws if anyways. Growing pains for the rookie, I hope but it is too early. We will get a better idea by week 16.

This is an Observation Dashi has made since PreSeason. It looked alot worst during preseason because we couldn't even stop the Run.

Agreed that Jones and Clemons should contain better. But that would be ok if they are AVERAGING ALOT OF Yards per Catch.

That's not the Problem. The Problem is our LB's are Step Slow. The High COMPLETION PCT%. They are completing 70% against our LB's!!! That is Extremely high.

Also, notice how when ever a Team wants to convert a 3rd Down the other team single out our LB's. Whether the TE's Beat them Or WR's sitting in their Zone.

How many times can U say the LB's Broke up the PASS.

NOTICE IN THE 4TH QTR THEY WERE USING VERNON(DE) AS A LB IN COVERAGE! Because he is actually faster than our LB's!!!

Yes, The Safety's need to Play closer to the line. But We Play a COVER 2. The Safety's main job in this Defense is to not let the Big Play Happen. Coyle has been doing a Good job of this with the Safety's.

All the Big Plays are Short Plays that gain big yards. Not balls thrown over 40 yds in the Air!!!

The LB's need to cover that Area from 5-15 yds from the Line of Scrimage!!
