The Dolphins offense had a nice opening drive and Ryan Tannehill got his first NFL TD on a 2 yard run.
Good.
The bad?
The Raiders just pieced together a 64-yard screen pass TD in which Reshad Jones was held, Chris Clemons took a bad angle to the ballcarrier, Koa Misi got pancaked and Karlos Dansby could only trail helplessly as he watched the score.
The game is tied, 7-7.

Do we not have a screen pass in our arsenal?
WTF Sherman. Help out your Rookie Boy and slow down the defense!
Sherman talks tough, but he's been Coaching like Cam Camoron. The Head Coach Camoron!

Mando,
How do you know the Raiders didn't adjust? Looks like they started stopping the run. If Miami can't run, Miami can't pass.

Nanee is this years Marc Colombo.

Thid team is worse than a bad fu#k!
Posted by: Dolphin 77 | September 16, 2012 at 02:06 PM
I guess Raiders dc has focused the efforts to taking away Hartline and the running game. Now the offense has seemed to fall flat. Bess scares no one and Naanee seems just scared.

BUSH HAS HEART BUT HE'S 5'10" 175 LBS. HE GIVES IT HIS ALL IN THE 1ST QUARTER BUT THEN HIS LEGS ARE JELLO. IF YOU'VE PLAYED SPORTS YOU KNOW THE FEELING. HE WORKS OUT LIKE A BEAST TO GET UP TO 205 BUT HIS NATURAL SIZE IS 165 LBS. HIS LEGS ARE SHOT AFTER THAT FIRST 40 YARDS HE ALWAYS GETS IN THE FIRST FEW DRIVES.
JAKE LONG IS A BUST
Posted by: the result | September 16, 2012 at 02:06 PM
next week the Jets will eat Dolphins alive, they don't waisting time in cooking the fish
Posted by: tony in miami | September 16, 2012 at 02:06 PM
This offense just cannot move the football...its just not physically possible to sustain no huddle drives...they need to get back to clock control killing drives
Posted by: superPHIN | September 16, 2012 at 02:06 PM
No TE worth a damn.
Anthony "Hands of Stone Fasano.
Sad.
Posted by: e PLURIBUS EUNUCH | September 16, 2012 at 02:06 PM
Naanee can't block for shyt. Did you see him taking running plays off?
Even the ones coming his way?
The guy really is useless.
Posted by: Coalition To Get Coalition Out Of The Closet | September 16, 2012 at 02:06 PM
Misi continues to play well.
Posted by: originalorangecrush | September 16, 2012 at 02:06 PM
Why is Naanee still here?... I thought Rashard Matthews was active?
Agreed. He has no business being on this roster. I've see enough to know he's terrible. Let's see Matthews & Moore.
Posted by: We Have RB's | September 16, 2012 at 02:07 PM
What a joke.
Posted by: Amin NYC | September 16, 2012 at 02:07 PM
At least they only lost 2 yds on that drive instead of 14... we're making progress now!

HAHA...SEAN SMITH

SEAN SMITH has a terrible day EVERY day. Training camp is over. Back to trailing every play
Posted by: Marc | September 16, 2012 at 02:08 PM
JAKE LONG IS BEING SHOVED AROUND. MIGHT AS WELL PUT IN A NO NAME 3RD STRINGER. COULD NOT DO ANY WORSE.
Posted by: the result | September 16, 2012 at 02:08 PM
Has Sherman morphed into Tony Sparano?
There is no attempt to counter the pass rush.
Raiders hitting the middle, in hopes of tipped passes, our O-line not responding.
This weakness will haunt us the rest of the year.
The thought of having to draft ANOTHER left tackle, instead of a top flight receiver is depressing beyond belief.
Posted by: IMAWriter | September 16, 2012 at 02:08 PM
Great cover by Smith
Allow a 20 yds game
Posted by: tony in miami | September 16, 2012 at 02:08 PM
Gosh, we got to have the worst lack of pass rush and secondaryu coverage in the league.
Posted by: Yesterday'sGone | September 16, 2012 at 02:08 PM
One play and they're already in Janikowski's range.
Posted by: navydolfaninva | September 16, 2012 at 02:08 PM
hey sean smith makes an appearance again, in someone elses highlight
Posted by: nyfinfan | September 16, 2012 at 02:08 PM

Posted by: Liberal Heterosexual | September 16, 2012 at 02:08 PM
NANEE IS HORRIBLE. HOW HORRIBLE DOES EVERYONE ELSE HAVE TO BE TO NOT BEAT OUT THAT GARBAGE???
Posted by: the result | September 16, 2012 at 02:08 PM
This is Smith's 4th season & he's just not cutting it.
Posted by: We Have RB's | September 16, 2012 at 02:09 PM
Parcells should be in The Hague, being prosecuted for crimes against Humanity.
Matt Moore will start by fifth game, and will be subbed-into this game no later than start 4Qtr

Posted by: Liberal Heterosexual | September 16, 2012 at 02:09 PM
Actually, pretty nice play calling by the Raiders.
That was a high percentage call on 3rd and 10
Posted by: JackSparrow | September 16, 2012 at 02:10 PM
Ugh, big league hit on Bess...
Posted by: Sandoval | September 16, 2012 at 02:10 PM
YG, you'd be correct, at least so far this year.
You left out O-line.
I said patience guys, earlier, but mine is wearing thin.
Our secondary is afraid of getting beat over the top.

GET IT TO MILLER
Posted by: the result | September 16, 2012 at 02:10 PM
Dansby still sucks.
Posted by: Amin NYC | September 16, 2012 at 02:10 PM
Final 5 minutes of the second quarter. Dolphins have to avoid a repeat of last week.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | September 16, 2012 at 02:10 PM
Sean Smith a loud-mouthed, twitter-addicted mediocrity.
Posted by: e PLURIBUS EUNUCH | September 16, 2012 at 02:10 PM
OK...let's play a game on how long this drive will last...I say 37 seconds.
Posted by: navydolfaninva | September 16, 2012 at 02:10 PM
NO PROTECTION WHATSOEVER. HORRI BLE
Posted by: the result | September 16, 2012 at 02:10 PM
Forget Long. Give Starks an extension.
Posted by: We Have RB's | September 16, 2012 at 02:10 PM
I am holding my breath everytime I see Tanne go back. I hope the pressure from that left side is not getting in his head. It would be nice to have Daniel Thomas to run up the middle. Bush sits there dancing around to much. He needs to hit the hole.
BTW-Nice play b Dansby
Posted by: Orlando Dolphan | September 16, 2012 at 02:10 PM
Smart bt Tanne....

Posted by: Kim Kardashian | September 16, 2012 at 02:11 PM
Ok. I Made it through 1.5 qtrs with now complaints. I can't take it any more. The offence does not have the playmakers to make the no-huddle style work. I know it might get better as we go but for right now when the D is holding up they're end, we have to adjust.
Posted by: The Biocentric | September 16, 2012 at 02:11 PM
Get the RB's out in space with short passes.
Posted by: We Have RB's | September 16, 2012 at 02:11 PM
imawriter,
Cant counter a pass rush when constanly in 2nd and 3rd and longs. Defenses dont have to honor much. Plus the recievers cant get open early enough.
Posted by: Yesterday'sGone | September 16, 2012 at 02:11 PM
Poor Tannehill. Mediocre O-line, terrible receivers.
Posted by: Jon | September 16, 2012 at 02:11 PM
