Dolphins lead Rams 10-6 going to third quarter

The Dolphins have yielded over 300 gross yards to the Rams. They've struggled along the offensive line and have been gernally outplayed all around.

But they lead the St. Louis Rams, 10-6.

The reason?

Ryan Tannehill is having a good day, completing 11 of 15 passes for 108 yards including a touchdown to Marlon Moore. And following the TD, the Dolphins picked up a key turnover when Marcus Thigpen recovered a fumble that led to a Dan Carpenter FG.

The Miami defense has kept the Rams out of the end zone and rookie kicker Greg Zuerlein, who had not missed a kick in 15 tries before today, has missed twice today.

Touchdown!!!

No more tipped passes on throws like that.

Nice drive opening 2nd half. Takes the starch out of Rams.

how about that guys!!!!

TAKE THAT FISHER...and all you FISHER LOVER's.....

PHILBIN half time adjustments just shoved it down the FISHER's THROAT....

Great calls by Sherman Today. Wow!

That was a beautiful drive. Nice calls by Sherman.

One of the things lacking with Sparano regime was halftime adjustments.. This openin drive showed INCREDIBLE adjustments!!! I'm liking this coaching staff!!!

ok wasn't 8 minutes but i'll take it!

YES!!! F#cking love this kid!!!

beautiful play fake and pass to fasano for the TD!!!! that's what i like to see: long drives that end with TOUCHDOWNS!!! Allllllrrriiiiiitttee Miami!!!!

What a call!!!

They're scratching and clawing!

2tds passing, Tannehill's qbr is what now Armando? I know its well over 100.

TANNEHILL'S 1ST 2 TD PASSING GAME DOLFANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey look at that, just like a broken I was right twice today lol

if he doesn't throw a pick today his QBR is going to be hugely improved

where are the tannehill trolls now??????????

Don't understand why we don't run more screens!! D Thomas

And the scary part is that Tannehill is going to just keep getting better!!!

atleast two dropped passes by WR too...

Multiple Td's game for the rookie that gets better every week!

Also can we give credit to m.Sherman's half time adjustments!

He screened the hell out of the rams on that drive. Would love to hear the conversation between him and T-Sizzle at the half.

Probably told him to stop making so many adjustments at the line! If u don't see nothing check down! Let me school fisher's d the second half!

Just keep the foot on their throats! Don't go soft. Lots of football left

great drive, and very important we overcame the penalty and scored a TD, gives the offense confidence and our D some much needed rest and will hopefully get an early stop.
great designed play by the coach and well executed.

Sherman stepped up and figured out he needed to slow down the blitz. Screen passes worked great. Shuttle pass is just like a draw. Rolled THILL out twice and it worked. He needs to keep Fisher and their front line on their toes.

THILL Looks really strong! What a rookie QB!! Total command of this offense.

Go Miami!!!

Wow, Red Zone efficiency!
When Tanny gets a few playmakers, the comparisons tomTroy Aikman will come.
HOPEFULLY.

The screens are the 2nd half adjustments guys. Imagine that, we now make 2nd half adjustments in Miami!

My life is kinda awesome right now. I have snacks and a quarterback...Go Miami Go!!!

his QBR so far is 124.8

Loved that shot of our player (didn't catch how0 with his arm around the official.

Wake should b salivating right now!!!!!!!

AGREE Marc...@ 2:54...

I said PHINS. 24. Rams 14. I like the adjustment by philbin. That shows. He is a good coach. Great game by our PHINS.

YG u mean we are not like the Spo dolphins?

Predictable all 4 qtrs!

THATS 17PTS UNANSWERED NOW! LOL

Sweet post Ostrich

Mando, write an article on how we finally have a coaching staff that makes halftime adjustments.

That entire drive was the finest play-calling I've seen by a Dolphins OC in a long time.

Armando,

What's the FINS record for rookie TDs in one game?

still can't run the ball at all though that needs to be fixed if we want to sit on the lead, that said i wouldn't mind if Sherman rolls the dice and just keeps throwing. It's not as if they've been able to stop Tannehill. But the run is not so good. D Thomas would be helping soften this defense.

THIS COACHING STAFF IS SMART. THEY DONT SHOW THE ENTIRE HAND IN 1 HALF. SAVES SOMETHING FOR ADJUSTMENTS. LOL

ARMANDO....

don't forget to CITE me when we put this game away...THIS QUARTER..

Time to let the d loose!

Armando: you should hold a contest to come up with a name for this stout defensive line.

EXACTLUY!!!!!!!!!!!

Solai!!
Beautiful move and hand combat.
Fisher's Titans teams were heavily penalized.

Vernon was on the field, but he is limping a lot.

i cant believe that conversion. brutal

What a combo with Starks & Soliai at DT....

Man...Great play by Bradford & Jackson.

Armando can you tell me why we are blitzing so many people on a 3rd and 13

Coyle getting out coached. No doubt. But that's growing pains by the rookie coach!

Armando, that was perhaps the most cogent comment you've made here today! LOL
Just joshing.
Seriously, a GREAT series of plays.

We've gottas stop them here.

Nice tackle...but why so far off...that was a soft pick pass....

O.K it is time to start giving Steven Ross credit. He ignored the fans and media and stick with Ireland. Many of us were asking for Ireland to be fired but his decisions have been solid.

Ireland has built a stout defense that with a little tweaking could be great. He is responsible for drating Tannehill, bringing in Bush, Wake, Dansbi, and keeping Soliai and finally many of his picks have developed. Great lower picks like Carrol, Reshad Jones, Jimmy Wilson, Brian Hartline, Davon Bess, and Vernon. The #1 picks have also been great Long, Tannehill, Pouncey, and Odrick. I like the direction the Dolphins are going.

Wake wake wake wake wake!!!!!!!!!!

What a D!!!

Wake up!!!!!

This is starting to be an avalanche for Miami. I don't think St. Louis can get out of the way.

clemons is playing well...Again!!!

DEFENSIVE ADJUSTMENTS AS WELL...

BRINGING BTHE PRESSURE since the FIRST SNAP....

Yes!
Yes!
Yes!

What happen to that wreck less talk u haters were talking in the first qtr!
