Miami Dolphins needing cornerback help

The Dolphins early today promoted D'Andre Presley from their practice squad to the active roster and the move is a harbinger of how desperate the club is at the cornerback spot now.

The desperation comes in that Richard Marshall continues to battle a back issue and was again nowhere in sight during practice today. To make matters worse, Nolan Carroll, who missed time last week with an Achilles' injury, sat out again today.

The issue forced RJ Stanford into duty as a starting cornerback in practice today while Marshall and Carroll sat out.

Kevin Burnett also limped off the practice field early in practice today. It didn't seem serious. But he had not returned by the time the portion of practice open to the media had ended. I'll update you later as I learn more.

Reggie Bush, by the way, spent some time on the bike today to keep his left knee loose. It is unclear if he'll be limited in practice.

He's getting his dumb*ss handed to him along with his gay brother odin.
As usual, they distort everything trying to appear "cooler" to the blog. LMAO
They are winning the daily "I look like a f*ckin tool" contest. DC & Odinsissy win HANDS DOWN!

who's the choker?"

Bruce,

You're right. Sanchez is WAY better than Marino was. LMFAO!!!!

RBs, true, same size too. Hopefully Tannehill is a little more athletic, but I'll take it even if he's not (Ryan's looking pretty good these days). I guess 2 stud WRs can do that for a guy!

impostering....

We can now add illiteracy to your list of "accomplishments"

Sanchez has played his best in 4th quarters and playoffs. He beat us in OT.

which poster commonly put lol at the end of a statement that makes no sense and isn't in the least bit funny? hmmmmm...

We can now add illiteracy to your list of "accomplishments"

Posted by: DC DUMBELL | October 03, 2012 at 03:03 PM

I'd love to see his resume!

During his rookie year, Ryan started all 16 games for the Falcons and led them to the playoffs with an 11-5 season record. He has also earned honors as the 2008 NFL AP Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Tanne now needs to finish 10-2 to equal that.

Mando,

Thanks for pointing out that we need help at CB. Even though I watched all four games I didn't realize that until you said it today.

The truth is that even if Marshall & Carroll were healthy they are not starters. In fact I'm still not sold on Smith as being a player worth re-signing to be a starter. Even with the 2 INT's he had last week he has 5 INT's since he was drafted. And it's not like he's a lock down player that teams are afraid to challenge him.

Isn't it curfewe time in Detroit to protect from thugs & drunken, drug dealing addicts with liver disease like yourself?

Dude, you should really give rehab a shot. If not for you do it for......for.......Oh, I forgot, your family disowned you.

Anywhoo, I don't live anywhere NEAR Detroit you freaking Dolt! As for Ombama, I'd put him right next to you...........the reject line!

So you see you homers are wrong to think that we have to accept losing just because he's a rookie.

We've waited long enough and should win NOW.

Should have been 11-5 this year. We gave away 2 of the wins already so our best hope now is 9-7.

Also, which poster uses ROTFLMAO, BUWAHAHAHAHAHA & ValHalla & is also not the least bit funny? hmm....

"This blog is garbage.

I was hoping to have some engaging lunch discussions but just sifted through 3 pages of black guys v white guys v jews, Canadians (who had professional football before the Americans) v Americans, swag v no swag.

There's only about 4 guys in here even remotely concerned with discussing football and the rest are just spending time here waiting for their social assistance cheques to come in.

Personal productivity will be way up this afternoon."

Mark,

Well said. This is an exercise in futility. Adios trolls....

Here's a lil tip for you then.

Stop acting like a degenrate, classless pee-on & you wouldn't give that impression.

2-Watt i do not know what team you are rooting for but please do not come in here talking crap and rooting for the Jets. If you are a Jets fan you should stop writing on a blog and go hide your head in the sand because all your talking you are only one game in front of the dolphins and you have no season to ook forward to not even a rebuilding season just alot of huge contract. Here is a question at what postion starting this weekend are you better than the dolphins. I see not one postition that the Jets are better than the dolphins(starters this week)

Sanchez in 3 seasons played in 2 AFC Championship games.
Marino in 17 seasons played in 2 AFC Championship games.NUFF SAID!

Isn't it curfewe time in Detroit to protect from thugs & drunken, drug dealing addicts with liver disease like yourself?

"According to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, the Texans have waived quarterback John Beck so they could bring back safety Troy Nolan."

Now this is funny. Next up will be Henne getting cut so the Jaguars can sign Gibril Wilson...LOL!!!

When typing, do you sit in front of a MIRROR by chance?

My best educated guess would be an UNEQUIVOCL YES ;)

ROTFLMAO!!!!

Oh yeah....and Val-Fvcking-Halla to you Sweet Cheeks!

Bruce,
when Sanchez gets a quarter of the way to Marinos passing yards, TD's, wins, or anything for that matter, come back in here and talk. Sanchez will be done in 4 years..

maybe Jeff Fireland can kill it with a pick off the free agent list that's currently out there?? didn't he kill it in free agency earlier this year?? just like he killed it in the draft?? what an idiot...

Football talk....

Do you believe that the Bengals have a more physical and therefore better defense than the Cardinals had??

Without looking @ any stats....my gut tells me they do....I watched the Bengals play the Skins...and they handed RG3 his @ss...No mercy....

Stats be damd....I think this will be a FAR better test for our young rook....facing this D....

Cards are still a PAPER TIGER to me...

Stats are for LOSERS !

Well, that must mean your about the 3rd grade level then.

You came on today with your dumbshyt troll routine, fvcked uyp the blog and had your A ss Handed to you.

So now you're going play the indignant bullshyt?
I don't think so PUNK! Crawl back under your ROCK and cry like a little beatch.

You are DISMISSED!!!!

Oh yeah-ROTFLMAO and ValHalla!!!!

lol

The Dolphins are going to have a losing record this year.I said before game one and I still keep my bet on the table for those that are looking at this too biased. In the last game you had excellent individual efforts on a relative basis but still the same result.Mr C and Mr Sal of this blog and the Miami Herald experts were the only prognosticators that picked the Cardinals over the Dolphins.I wont bet on the next one but I will bet on the entire season any takers?

Bruce,
ok well since neither have won a superbowl thats the only thing you can compare buddy. So when Sanchez makes it to a Superbowl then compare him to Marino..

Bruce get your facts straight i know marino went to at least three afc Championship game and won one. and for you to even compare marino to sanchez or put them in the same sentence is wrong. I like Marino as a QB but i know him personally and we had our differences(leave it at that) i am not a marino homer but there is no way you put marino and sanchez together and compare them

WE NEEDED CORNER BACK HELP WHEN THEY ALL WERE HEALTHY!!!

62-7
Bhwaaaaa Haaaaaaaaaa Haaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

.

and you compared stats... Marino 2 afcc to sanchez 2 afcc.. with just one exception Marino went to the SB

we may have just been blown out by 35 even though it shoulda been 42. At home scoreless but this team has no quit

jets are going to the superbowl!

Mcelroy is a probowler.

TO is the answer to all our problems in NJ

Reality Check...Is Armando saying Marshall will not play in the game Sunday? missing practice is one thing but are we talking about missing the Cincinnati game?

Odin, nice attempt at looking less stupid. A for effort. F - final grade. You & your boy DC are the ones looking dumb. Notice all the others who loathe you. You & DC are the ONLY ones challenging me. Go figure huh?

Oh, I'm sorry. Im using the grading scale used in schools. Since your an illiterate retard who didn't ge through Kindergarten, you wouldn't get it.

I give up....

Going home....we'll try this again later...

when Sanchez gets a quarter of the way to Marinos passing yards, TD's, wins, or anything for that matter, come back in here and talk. Sanchez will be done in 4 years..

Mattyb,

I think Sanchez is done now as a starter. Aside from the fact that I hate the Jets more than anything imaginable I believe he is the worst starting QB in the NFL. He's completing 49.2% of his passes & this is his 4th season as a starter. Those are Tebow-like numbers. Through Tannehill's first four games as a pro he's completed 55.9% of his passes with only two WR's that can actually catch a football

lol

DC have you gotten one thing right in your entire life?

Tannehill is much bigger than Ryan.

Posted by: Johnson Smith | October 03, 2012 at 03:01 PM

Matt Ryan 6'4" 224lbs
Ryan Tannehill 6'4" 222lbs

Dude, seriously, when grown men speak, stay quiet over there at the kiddie table. Or I won't give you dessert.

Reality Check...Is Armando saying Marshall will not play in the game Sunday? missing practice is one thing but are we talking about missing the Cincinnati game?

Mark,

Mando doesn't know. It's only Wednesday & last week Marshall didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday & still played Sunday. He didn't play WELL but he played...

The only stat that matters is the W's.

Dashi thinks Tanny cant get the W's.

Matt Moore can get the W's.

Kris and other regulars, I'm sorry, but I had to do this today. I wanted to be entertained, so I brought out my circus animals. Apologize. I will put them away in a bit, but I'm enjoying them at the moment. Sorry again to the blog.

No need to panic all teams deal with injuries. Marshall was listed as questionsble last Sunday as well. Has the injury improved or is it worse? They must know if it's improved.

DC, if you needed to look like an idiot in front of the blog today for entertainment, you are far more pathetic than originally suspected.

Seek social interaction with something other than a PC monitor. Now I feel sorry for you.
