Naanee remains on the Dolphins at this hour

Throughout the day many of my twitter followers were asking me when the Dolphins would get rid of Legedu Naanee. They were also asking the same about Dan Carpenter.

Carpenter missed a kick against Arizona Sunday, his third in two weeks, while Naanee had a memorable fumble that was scooped up by Patrick Peterson and returned to the Dolphins one yard line. The mistake was erased when Arizona quarterback Kevin Kolb threw an interception in the end zone two plays later.

Nonetheless, this evening the questions about Naanee's future took on a different approach. My followers were claiming a report said Naanee had been cut.

Well, that was a fake twitter report from a bogus account. And as of this evening, Naanee remains on the team.

"The Miami Dolphins front office has not had any discussions with me nor any of my six clients on the team today about any roster moves," agent David Canter texted me.

So move along.

Nothing to see here as of this moment.

Please take out the garbage

It's time to move on from this guy Naanee. Cut Armstrong too. Both are a waste of space. Sign Gaffney. He isn't dynamic but can move the chains and is a dependable #3

Hey Mando... What's up with Rashard Matthews?.. He looked pretty good in pre season play...

I still remember the alligator arms play in the PreSeason final at Dallas and felt he should have been axed then and there. This coming on the heels of a PreSeason were he really didn't distinguish himself from sub par competition. I just don't get it at all must be a great Locker room / team guy. At this point I give Burress a look at least he gives Tannehill a redzone target. Guess Philbin is really going to make a statement about the type of players he'll tolerate.

Naanee was a NoNo and he's not long for the Dolphins as a WR. He may stick on the current roster only to play special teams where he has value. But as a WR in the NFL he just doesn't pass mustard.

Legadu is a Dolphin, and Marshall is a Bear

I thought Burress was a better option than Chad anyway...

Is the rumor true that Nick Novak is on his way to battle Carpenter this week?

Briam Hartline 25 for 455.

Devon Bess 20 for 297.

Brandon Marshall 23 for 352.
=======================================

Ok "Fire Coach Spo", I waited till tonight. Now what?

Let me guess, now you're going to say, it's a long season, wait till week 16.......RIGHT-lol?

Ok, but just for the record, one more "Marshall" stat for you. He has more drops this season than Bess and Hartline combined.

I'll keep the 50 million and run with the two 2nd rounders everyday of the week and twice on Sunday.

Now, if we can just get rid of this Naanee guy and ban the no. 19 jersey FOREVER! I don't believe in jinxes, but MAN! Enoughs-ENOUGH already!

Legadu is Latin for fumbles at key times

Dashi thinks we should've kept Brandon Narshall.

3rd rd picks are useless with Ireland.

As bad as Naanee is as a receiver, I really think that he caught a break from the refs when they called that play a catch. Looked to me like he never had anything close to possession of that ball.

Marshall is a head case for sure. Can't believe that people are calling for him.Don't you remember? Wow!

Ahhhh the "hissy fit", I remember it well odinseye. I believe you and I had words during the draft :) You were going nuts jerkin your knee that day! lol

That wasn't me........was it?

Yeah......I dunno.........my memories kind of............kind of foggy on that one. I can't quite recall(Sheepish Blush).

So.....ah....Yeah, moving right along.......That Naanee, he's got to GO!

Odin ;)

you-all coming after carpenter's head need to stop. The guy has been solid for four years until recently. You wanted run everybody out of town when they struggle.

I like Carpenter. He has had a good career for Fins. Heard earlier that they were bringing in some competition for him. Probably just a rumor

Marc is a troll as uses multiple names. The first post on this blog he forget to sign back in, in blue. He also talks to self.

It's easy to see. Check the end of the last blog and the begining of this one.

He was obviously bust watching the game earlier, but as soon as it was over.........Troll City!

Yeah, but other than that, it was a pretty good day of football talk here.

Nice going "Marc"!

I don't ever forget to log in. That's another Marc. Odin. I know you well

Click on my name and you will see every post I've ever made over the years. I've never posted as anyone else. Sorry buddy. As for trolls. You all still breed them as you respond.

You and me both! The rule states you must make the catch with both feet down making a football move and that play wasn't close. There was a nearly identical play last night to Ramses Barden which was called correctly.

Ok Marc, my apologies.

When I saw the unsigned one at the top I jumped to conclusions.

I thought someone(A Troll)might've high jacked your account.

My Bad!

No sweat homie

odin,

I am not going to start the Carpenter talk because he's been one of the more consistent over the last few Yrs. but hasn't all the misses caught your attention going back to the 1st PreSeason game Vs. the Bucs were I believe he missed a few badly as well?? At this point I'm wondering if there isn't something personal going on with him in all seriousness. As far as Legedu you remember I thought he wouldn't make it out of Dallas after the John Avery like alligator arms.

It's Lega-DON'T for the Dolphins

2012 Season:
Charles Clay 1 rec 2 yds
Anthony Armstrong 3 rec 12 yds
Legadu NayNay 1 rec 19 yds 1 fumble

These 3 maniacs between them have 5 receptions for 33 yards and 1 fumble TOTAL FOR ALL 3 OF THEM THRU 4 GAMES?

WTF?????

Marshall does look better in Chicago. And who knows for sure, but it could've simply been the QB play.

Whichever the case may be, he wasn't worth what we were paying him. He didn't earn his money. And specifically, at Crunch Time, he was Horrendous. And I don't care what you want to say about the Quarterbacks throwing him the ball, it was bouncing off HIS HANDS in the ENDZONE and all over the field.

I don't care if Charlie Brown was throwing him the ball. When it hits you in the hands, you CATCH IT. Fact is, Marshall didn't. while here he led the league in drops AND dropped TD passes.

For 50 Million? Puh-Lease!

PS: I wouldn't want Marshall talking to Tannehill on a telephone, long distance from China, let alone on MY TEAMS SIDELINES!

GOOD RIDDANCE!!!!

#19 is not cursed. Ted Ginn is in the history books as a MIAMI DOLPHIN and Marshall is a pro bowl mvp as a DOLPHIN.
Brandon was dropping passes in Denver. Nanee just sucks.
There was someone here who warned us when we signed him. No one listended. Lol.
Sign Plax. Armstrong and Nanee handicap the team.

Pat White HAD MORE RUSHING YARDS IN COLLEGE THAN CJ SPILLER and he threw for 6000 yards on top of that. We could not find a way to keep Pat White? There was no place for him anywhere? And these 3 r tards have jobs here???

Where's 7-11

Why is D Thomas still on the team?

I love all this "cut so-and-so" talk. And sign WHO? These guys are unemployed for a reason... gonna be a slow process, folks.

I'd like to see Fuller and Matthews...

Tony Soprano said, "...I spent so much time accumulating this speed I'm not giving it up now...".
Tony was talking about Marlon Moore, Roberto 'anke weights' Wallace and Clyde Gates.
Ankle weights and clyde are gone.
Why is Moore on the practice squad? Can he not beat out NayNay or Armstrong or Clay for a roster spot?

JFC

Fin4,

I haven't spoken up about Carpenter for just that reason. I couldn't help but wonder if somethings wrong. A dumb injury he didn't want to report? Caught his wife cheating on him with his Brother? I don't know, but SOMETHINGS gone terribly wrong.

He was well on his way to becopming one of my favorite Kickers ever(if there is such a thing-lol). Besides his distance, accuracy and how we could count on him like Money, I loved his toughness and how he would stick a shoulder in there onn tackles.

Now this? I'm at a COMPLETE loss.

I'll tell you this though, in all seriousness, when a Kicker Starts missing big kicks(or costing games-I hate typing that), the Old NFL saying of "Not For Long" comes into play pretty quick.

I love Carpenter and I would hate to see it happen. But he better get over whatever it is thats Effing with him and QUICK!

And quit it with the revisionist history. Someone saif Marshall looked better in Chicago. He has had ONE good game and that was tonight. Put the whiskey bottle down and go to bed.

Odin, Marshall would have been excellent with Tannehill, but, (and everything after but is S#IT), maybe if he was still here Hartline would not have blossomed like he has, who knows. All I know is Marshall is gone, ain't c'ming back, neither is 85! So, for immediate, affordable help, try out Plaxico, he is excellent in the Red Zone, where we need the most help! We have nothing to lose!!! He's a FA, we don't have to trade any picks for him and he is healthy. Get rid of Naanee, Armstrong and Egnew and pick up Plaxico, maybe Gaffney and give Hogan a shot.

Mike Egnew get him out there

Tanne needed to play big- and he did!
That's what a man does.

The issue with w Marshall was mostly a mental problem. Hartline and Bess were always better team players. Never heard either complain when their targets dropped when Marshall came in. Team first no talk all walk

Odin,
2 years ago Carpenter missed 4 FGs in a game that we lost by 2 points.
2 weeks later we recovered a fumble by Roethlisberger in the end zone for a win and the ref called what? No play? I don't even know what the ref called but that WOULD HAVE BEEN our 9th win of the season.
I know you don't care. This whole nightmare starts with Favre sign ing with the Jets who the release Pennington the same day...

Odin,
I know it's you and only you.
I know it's always been you and only you.
I78 @ Deleware River...

We can do it lots of times not just one time.
We can do it for the next 10 years.
I won't live long after 10 more years

F'ing Brandon Marshall.
His dropped TD pass of 2 weeks ago is forgotten.
Fine.
He still trails Hartline.

Caddy, you LONGING for Odin? I'm jealous, I laid claim to that Michiganer years ago. Get in line big boy!

Caddy, with his 253 yd game, Hartline set a record for Fins receiver. I'm glad he finally has a chance to excel!!!

Okay redsky.
I'll get in line.
It's not like you're Odin or anything.

In 2009 I exhalted Hartline, Look it up
In 2010 I exhalted Hartline, look it up
In 2011 I exhalted Hartlne, look that up also

And quit it with the revisionist history. Someone saif Marshall looked better in Chicago. He has had ONE good game and that was tonight. Put the whiskey bottle down and go to bed.

Put the Whiskey Bottle down? It ain't empty.......yet!

Ok, maybe I didn't word that too well.

He's 7th in receiving yards, tied for 14th in catches, 14th in YAC and has 2 TD's.

Maybe I should have said, he's doing good in Chicago. Hows that?

Matters not to me. I'm just GLAD he's a Bear!

Caddy, no one can be Odin, nor can anyone be me, I can take your scalp off at 50 yds with a tomahawk!

redsky,
Any time any place

Odin,
First of all you have proven to all of mankind that you are the Master.

Odin,
You have stayed awake, and on point, and in disguise for so long that gay people love you!

Get rid of Naanee, Armstrong and Egnew and pick up Plaxico, maybe Gaffney and give Hogan a shot.

Posted by: redsky | October 02, 2012 at 01:10 AM

First off, I wouldn't give up on Egnew at this point regardless.

Who knows? From that Dullard look he carries 24/7 maybe he's just a slow learner. I give the Kid a free ride this year and see what happens next camp and Pre Season.

Secondly, I agree we could use some help at WR. I'm just not sure Plaxico is the right fit. Same goes for Gaffney.

I will say this, for the price we could get either one of them, they couldn't possibly do any worse than Naanee. No one can for that matter. I would AT LEAST try Moore or Matthews. Something.....anything but Naanee.

I don't know about Armstrong. Has he picked up the offense? Is he healthy? When he did get in the game he was as invisible as Naanee. I'm not impressed.

We will hammer away all week on these keys. But if you want to know the truth........(don't tell anyone I told you).........Odin's inside sources deep within the Bat Cave have informed that changes are coming THIS WEEK.

One of two moves will be made. Mark my words. Ireland and Philbin will either cut Naanee(guaranteed money and all)and bring in Gaffney. Or they will deactivate him and bring up Matthews or Moore.

Remember.......you didn't hear it from me. Shhhhhhhhhh...........Keep It On The DL-LOL!

I know for a fact that redsky is whacking it right now. Redsky you smart mf

ROTFLMFAO-WTF?

I'm sure theres a good point lost in there somewhere. But I'll be damned if I can decipher it-lol!

Odin,
You have stayed awake, and on point, and in disguise for so long that gay people love you!

Posted by: CadillacDeVille | October 02, 2012 at 01:47 AM

Well, you wouldn't be the first to have High Hopes in that regard.

Unfortunately, Odin's just never looked at another Man's Fat Hairy A ss and thoguht........Giggity-Giggity.

I'm flattered..........but ah............NO!

Odin,
I cannot put into writing what the point is.
I'm glad that Tanne is doing so well.
I'm also glad that you are so happy about it.

I'm afraid that I will have to go on disability soon for mental health issues. I'm decompressing at a rate of 3 times per week now.
The medication to stop the decompressions is so strong that it disables me.

It doesn't take Nostradamus or a Rocket Scientist!

Mark it down........Stick A Fork In Naanee, he is DONE!

I personally doubt we bring anybody in from the outside. If Armstrongs healthy they'll try him again unfortunately.

But check it, Matthews or Moore will be active this week. Probably Moore if he's healthy. Nursing a Hammy for weeks now?

I think I'd rather see Matthews. The one thing I liked about him is he plays tough. He goes after it. And as far as Naanee's contributions on Special Teams? I would be willing to bet money Matthews can handle it.

And with that, I "THINK" I'm calling it a night. I have to go a Doctor or a Specialist or some damn thing tommorow. I want to sober up.......A Little........before I "Check In".

Sigh-My-Nora!!!!

decompressing?

ROTFLMAO-I HOPE you're kidding man. THAT sounds pretty serious.

PEACE!

My physician told me that is what it is.
He also prescribed meds which I have been taking.
But they are not as effective as they used to be.
And the decompressions are not once a month anymore, they are every day or two. It is really frightening.
