The Dolphins have given up a pair of field goals to the Rams and their kicker Greg Zuerlein.
The Dolphins, the NFL's top run defense, has given up 63 yards on four carries to Daryl Richardson. The Team was allowing an average of 61 yards per game before today.
The offense, meanwhile, has been inconsistent.
So Miami has its work cut out for them.
This one may not be easy.

YG,
Good point. Well Done Tanne...just do the simple things well pls.
Posted by: TAO | October 14, 2012 at 02:05 PM
You are right Kris. That was a great pass. He put air under it up and made it an easy catch for Marlon Moore. Tanne does not seem to get rattled.
Posted by: Orlando Dolphan | October 14, 2012 at 02:05 PM
OMG!! We recovered a fumble!!!
Posted by: nyfinfan | October 14, 2012 at 02:05 PM

Yes!
Yes!
Yes!
Posted by: Dashi | October 14, 2012 at 02:06 PM
Guys, all Marlon Moore did on that play was run down field. That TD was more about Jenkins not playing than Moore doing something great.
Mando,
Come on....Moore hasn't done anything in three years. Let us enjoy the moment!!!
Posted by: We Have RB's | October 14, 2012 at 02:06 PM
Mando, true, but Marshall would have dropped it.
Fumble! Ours.
Vernon down...God giveth.....
Hope he's OK, he's seems to be having a fine game.
Posted by: IMAWriter | October 14, 2012 at 02:06 PM
LOL @ Dashi @ 2;04...
Posted by: Kris | October 14, 2012 at 02:06 PM
Olivier Vernon look like he injured his left leg/ankle on the kickoff.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | October 14, 2012 at 02:06 PM
WOW!! Are we lucky or what?
Posted by: Harmel | October 14, 2012 at 02:06 PM
Mando, oookkkkaaaayyyy!!! So should Moore give it back? Should he not celebrate? What a weird post..
Posted by: robbyhernz | October 14, 2012 at 02:06 PM
Oh no! Vernon is hurt. He was hveing a great game so far.
Posted by: Orlando Dolphan | October 14, 2012 at 02:07 PM
What happened to Vernon???
Posted by: We Have RB's | October 14, 2012 at 02:07 PM
Woohoo!!! crap we cant afford to lose Olivier though. Hes having a breakout game!
Posted by: Chase | October 14, 2012 at 02:07 PM
Did we recover a fumble?? wow how things can change on a dime.
Posted by: TAO | October 14, 2012 at 02:07 PM
Good this about Rams is that they're like the Fins in that they don't know how to protect a lead!!
Posted by: robbyhernz | October 14, 2012 at 02:07 PM
Dashi...how about a truce...at least for THIS game?
Posted by: IMAWriter | October 14, 2012 at 02:07 PM
Sucks OV went down!
But the momentum is shifting!
Let's get T-Hill's first multiple Td's game
Posted by: Dashi | October 14, 2012 at 02:08 PM
Bess drop...Ugh
Posted by: Marc | October 14, 2012 at 02:08 PM
Lets hope it isnt serious with Vernon. He's been a beast today.

Posted by: Reg | October 14, 2012 at 02:08 PM
Hope it's not serious with Vernon!
Posted by: robbyhernz | October 14, 2012 at 02:08 PM

Posted by: TAO | October 14, 2012 at 02:08 PM

Thanks, Kris, but even a blind squirrel....LOL
Carpenter...PLEASE!
Posted by: IMAWriter | October 14, 2012 at 02:10 PM
At least Carpenter is solid under 45!!
Posted by: robbyhernz | October 14, 2012 at 02:10 PM
Janoris Jenkins let his WR go AGAIN. If I'm the Dolphins, I call double moves on that rookie all day. Easy pickins'.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | October 14, 2012 at 02:10 PM
Carpenter BABY....
Posted by: Kris | October 14, 2012 at 02:10 PM
Bess has to make that catch on 1st down.
Posted by: We Have RB's | October 14, 2012 at 02:10 PM
I can't remember a drop like that by Bess all season!!!
Posted by: robbyhernz | October 14, 2012 at 02:10 PM
Come on Carp.
Posted by: Yesterday's Gone | October 14, 2012 at 02:10 PM
Bess killed that drive with the drop...
Posted by: Chase | October 14, 2012 at 02:10 PM
Wow, Carpenter looked surprised...but mostly RELIEVED.
Posted by: IMAWriter | October 14, 2012 at 02:10 PM
ugh terrible series
Posted by: tannesupporter | October 14, 2012 at 02:11 PM
Never been so nervous for a FG under 45. Good job Carp
Posted by: TAO | October 14, 2012 at 02:11 PM
Alright Carpenter made it. We have to hit our field goals because this is going to be a close defensive battle today.
I gotta tell you though that Rams defense is stout. We cannot run the ball on them and they are getting pressure on Tanne.
Posted by: Orlando Dolphan | October 14, 2012 at 02:11 PM
Good day today!
When carpenter is making kicks and our special teams producing turnovers! now let's just shut them down!
Posted by: Dashi | October 14, 2012 at 02:12 PM
what's better than a 3&out? an turnover on the kickoff!!! Finally got a bounce our way!!! Wish it would;ve ended with a TD, but glad Carpenter made the FG. (For some reason this site is loading real slow so i'm tryin 2 get all my thoughts from the past 10 minute out now lol) Go Phins!!!!
Posted by: Okizzle | October 14, 2012 at 02:12 PM
Heck, that was a good play call. We don't make the down or the FG, they get it way back there. 2 for 1.
Posted by: oscar canosa | October 14, 2012 at 02:12 PM
Should have been 7 with that kind of field position but AT LEAST we got points.
Posted by: We Have RB's | October 14, 2012 at 02:12 PM
Armando you can critisize someone on the defense on every play that is completed, so give it a rest will you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: Reg | October 14, 2012 at 02:12 PM

Now I see the point you were trying to make Armando....
Good observation....
Posted by: Kris | October 14, 2012 at 02:12 PM
Come on guys, even good recievers at times have drops. I give Bess a pass on this, let us drop it. Carp came thru, still 3 easy gimme points.
Posted by: Yesterday's Gone | October 14, 2012 at 02:12 PM
Stop bagging on THill. I see that he missed 3 throws. I see Bess dropped one. I see penalties from Long and Incognito as drive killers. I see bad protection a few times as well.
He has made some nice throws including the TD. He throws well on the run. Roll him out more often and slow down the Blitz!!
Posted by: jpao | October 14, 2012 at 02:12 PM
If Tannehill could move the friggin ball we wouldnt have to resort to 50 yd FG's.
Posted by: Harmel | October 14, 2012 at 02:12 PM
Mando looks so cute in his picture.
Kisses Mando ;)
Posted by: FLPD | October 14, 2012 at 02:13 PM
What a turn of events. The Rams were dominating us in the 1st quarter. Got to credit our guys for hanging in there.
Posted by: We Have RB's | October 14, 2012 at 02:13 PM
O wish Sherman would allow Tanny to roll out more and make the decision to throw or not.
THIS is the team to try this. Their pass rush hides a suspect secondary, no?
Hope Vernon comes back.
Posted by: IMAWriter | October 14, 2012 at 02:14 PM
We have 4 rushing yards today....
Posted by: We Have RB's | October 14, 2012 at 02:14 PM
SEAN SMITH juked out of his shoes
Posted by: Marc | October 14, 2012 at 02:15 PM
Sean Smith can't play zone
Posted by: nyfinfan | October 14, 2012 at 02:15 PM
Smith is playing down to competition after Fitz and Greene... That catch was way too easy...
Posted by: robbyhernz | October 14, 2012 at 02:15 PM
Closing out this half with no more pts allowed would be huge.
Posted by: TAO | October 14, 2012 at 02:15 PM
No pressure
Posted by: Marc | October 14, 2012 at 02:16 PM
Yeah too much of a cushion with Smith playing zone
Posted by: ncfinfan33 | October 14, 2012 at 02:16 PM
getting carved up....
Its gonna be a game....
