Dansby playing with a torn biceps muscle

Karlos Dansby didn't quite hold on to that possible interception a couple of weeks ago and was perhaps half a step late and his arms weren't in proper position to get a possible pick against Buffalo on Thursday.

Maybe that torn biceps muscle that he's been playing with the past three games had something to do with that.

Dansby on Friday broke an unwritten team protocol and probably sent Joe Philbin into something of a panic for announcing on his weekly WQAM radio hit with Jorge Sedano that he's been playing with a torn biceps.

Dansby, who has been listed as probable with a biceps injury the past three weeks, says he suffered the injury against the Jets on October 28.

He's been wearing a brace that helps him play but also limits his range of motion ever since. Other than the missed interceptions opportunities, Dansby's tackles have not suffered significantly.

Dansby further said he plans on continuing his season although some other players have opted to have surgery as soon as they suffer the injury.

No word yet on whether Philbin will talk to Dansby about disclosing the injury. Philbin, in case you missed it, has a blind spot about injuries. He hates discussing them. He doesn't want his players discussing them. It's a thing with him.

So we'll see.

We, settle for nothing Else than the Best.

DarrylDunphy , agreed we have a very good defense. Tannehill's 3 n outs and turnovers has the D on the field all game long. No D can overcome that. The D is a strength.

God, you people are BORING!

See, Psychological and Social forces are at work constantly on Us and determine our present and our Future. Look at Shula, when his wife Dorothy died, he was never that same Great Coach he had been(apparently she was a good influence and source of motivation in him). Right?

Is that sufficiently boring for you, ZZZZZ, or you want more details? Gente chismosa(Cubans).

Nobody answers.hehehe

I dont think Tannehill got the offense into Buffalo territory until the 4th quarter on Thursday. So the D had bad field position all game but held the Bills to FG's on most drives.

I agree with most of you about Long, not top 5 OL cash, no way. With that said why on earth did Ireland did not try to deal this guy prior to the deadline, I mean fken unbelievable.

Last year he too could have dealt other players who were perennial headaches and chose not to (Marshall, Davis), and what is worse he still dealt them anyway and got virtually nothing in return. Our team was and is still obviously a rebuilding effort but Ireland saw a ray of light and sniffed the playoffs just like we all did.

This organization can NOT afford one more year of Jeff Ireland, he's putting his job stability before the team's success and he should not be allowed to mess all the picks that we've gathered at such great pains. Our position would be much stronger had he made the painful but necessary moves within the right time frame. Last year after an 0-6 start he did not take advantage to blow the team up and instead rewarded an undisciplined bunch led by a moron of a coach to the most worthless 8 wins in memory.

Fire Ireland!

Same with Philbin. For our interests, we have to find out why did his Son died(natural cause, drug abuse?). Now, from there we have to also know what was Philbins part in his Death(did he teach the kid well, etc). And then, what are the consequences of this loss on Philbin, as a Football Coach(which is what matters to us). Wil It make him a better HC or not?. We, have to be thorough, for our own protection. Sorry. Armando!! YOU will be in charge of finding the previous out!!

It is true that the defense and even special teams are the two areas this team has played well enough to win. Even in the Buffalo game with as bad as the offense played the defense kept them in the game and gave them a chance to win it. It's been that way all season. The offense has never stepped up to win the game. They've played well enough to get the win but it was always the defense (and special teams) that gave them the edge. Is it talent on the offensive side of the ball? How much of it is on the o-line and how much is on the backs and receivers? Is it a combination of the lack of talent and a rookie qb? Is it coaching?
If the defenses they face are putting 8 in the box to make Tannehill beat them then Sherman needs to do a better job of calling plays that will loosen up the defense and make them play more honest. But, I've also seen times where Tannehill changed the play at the line and he made the wrong call. Perfect example was on a run by Bush that was stopped for a loss. Tannehill changed the play to the run and Bush was tackled before he could get going.

Players that should have been dealt prior to deadline:
-Long (could have used picks to get one or even two of Texas A&M OL in 2013)
-Dansby (ok but not worth his salary)
-Fasano (outrageous salary, we have plenty of blocking TEs for way cheaper like Yeatman, Mastrud, etc), besides you've got to know what u have in Egnew, so far looking bust solid tho.

Draft well next year under a different GM and this team will have a chance. Instead Ireland did not deal ANY of the mentioned above and I promise you he will trade up and make yet another dumb move (see D. Thomas, Egnew, heck even Martin).

According to what I saw Today on TV, 95% of the NFL Head Coaches sukkk Big Dikkks. I hope we have found out our Coach in that 5% range of Good.

how many bloggers here sukkk biggg dikkkks? about 95%

If dumba$$ ireland is still there he will make it a point to make suck a%$ long the highest paid ol in the nfl. IDIOT!

GABBERT IS AN OFFICIAL PUST...............

WHILE OUR QB SPOT STILL IN THE MUDD ........

THAT TELLS ME, THE PROBLEM WASN'T HENNE,IT WAS THE EX PIZZA MAN 'S COACHING..............

You fully well know I insult nobody, oscar canosa at 12:33AM. When you get mad, you go ahead -let you anger go do something +(that makes People think and not get upset to where you react like animals and don't reason like Humans do). In this case, it is a mixture of 2 or more psychological defense mechanisms but basically, it's called Altruism.

Ireland is not an idiot, close when it comes to talent evaluation but on administrative moves like dealing with the salary cap he has helped the Dolphins. Regarding making talent evaluations, I'm sure he thinks he's good even though the record shows how bad he is at bringing in a tight end out of college. Egnew and Clay were wasted high draft picks. The receivers need to be upgraded, cornerback and an outside linebacker are huge needs also. Lets be honest about RB Thomas, he is very average and was drafted in the early rounds.

FACTS;;;;;;;;

OUR DOLPHINS STILL IN THE CELLAR......IN MY VIEWS IT'S DUE TO THE WAY IRELAND RUNS THE TEAM ,BY STTING HIS OWN AGENDA AND HIRING A COACHING STAFF BELOW AVERAGE LIKE SHERMAN ........

RELEASING HENNE ,WHEN HE'S BECOMING A GOOD QB AFTER 3 YEARS TO GET HIM READY IS A PROVE OUR GARAGE MANAGER DOESN'T KNOW HOW OR WHEN A PLAYER SHOULD BE RELEASED ...........

TO KEEP ;
DANSBY
THOMAS
FASANO
BESS AND.......
LET GO;;
DAVIS
MARSHALL
HENNE ........................ THE CELLAR.....

OUR DONKEY BRIGADE WITH THEIR HEAD DONKEY ;;;KRIS STARTING TALKING DRAFT CRAP LIKE EVERY YEAR ....................

THE DONKEYS
THE CELLAR
THE GARAGE MANAGER...........

Another Excuse from the overrated Dansby. Just another way to excuse his lack of playmaking. He's not worth the money he gets and we should trade him first chance.
