Dolphins beat Seahawks 24-21 in final seconds

Call it a comeback.

The Dolphins were down twice in the fourth quarter -- once at 14-7 and then at 21-14 -- but fought back each time and just battled through a victory.

Dolphins 24. Seahawks 21.

The game was a coming of age moment for Ryan Tannehill. He authored a seven-play, 65-yard drive in the final two minutes to give the Dolphins a chance at Dan Carpenter's 43-yard field goal.

The Dolphins are 5-6 and end a three-game losing skid.

Craig I completely agree but I think we have to bring him back. No choice because of the points you bring up. I just think they need to focus on upgrading the other side. I believe Smith can be a fine number 2. I just dont think he can handle the pressures of being THE guy. I think if they get someone to take over the role he has now he will blossom as the 2 guy.

Lol,,,,lmao, he just reposted one of my posts and I have no idea what he said after it because I scrolled right by. What a fool.

Orlando,

Depends what he wants I guess. If he's looking for a five year contract for decent money then I think you let him walk and go in another direction. By no means do I think that Smith is irreplaceable. There will be other guys in FA and guys in the draft. To me, at this point, he's 'just a guy'. He makes as many bad plays as good. I don't see him as being a guy that makes much of a difference to our defence. If there's a well thought out plan I wouldn't shed any tears if he was gone next year.

A big thanks to the refs for giving us this one.

Orlando Dolfan,

Pickings are slim at corner in this draft. The talent level doesnt really justify taking a corner high 1st rd. Say if we draft 10th even, instead of drafting a #1 corner, we just drafted another #2 coner.

Not that anything's wrong with having another legit #2 corner, because Carroll isnt that, just using a 1st rd pick to get him is way overpaying.

Especially the real talent you have to pass up to overpay for him. The pass rushers and wr's have more value than selecting a corner early. Last I heard we could use help in those areas too.

Dashi, join in the fun man. Ignore all of his posts, dont even read them. Help us waste his time. You shouldnt even know hes attacking anyone. Make his posts disappear by not reading them.

Guys take a look at what the Giants are doing to Rodgers tonight. One pick already and has looked very ordinary so far. That's what a good pass rush can mean to your defence and can really throw the other QB off. We did a better job today but if I had to bet money, it will disappear next week versus Brady and he will put 35+ points up against us. It needs to be there on a more consistent basis for us to win more.

Where r the Daniel (we traded 3 or was it 4) draft picks for him. It was 2 and he is our rB of future Miller inactive ha ha ha

Phins78,

You say you will stick to football and then make 3 posts mocking someone who has pointed out that just maybe you are a gasbag. In case you haven't figured it out already, this makes you a hypocrite.

Subsequently, to date, the Packers aren't getting to Eli and he's making them look bad. That's what happens when the QB has all day to go through his reads.

Have you ever seen a worse 5-6 team? lol

Ron and G'Ville!

Answer The Dashi's Question!!!!

Who's Snooki?? And Who's JWOWW??? We have a Situation! With U 2 Blowhard JERSEY SHORE(JETS) FANS!!!

Better Yet!!!

Who's Spit? And Who's Swallow??

Cause WE ALL KNOW!! DASHI'S NAME IS ALWAYS IN UR MOUTH!!!

Giants are manhandling them so far. I have $500 riding on this game and the Packers +9 points. Not looking good so far.

How do you ignore them? Look at the names at the bottom and if you dont recognize the name as someone who talks Dolphins just scroll by it. You know whos who. DC,Craig, Odin, YG, Kris, me, and a few others talk Dolphins. The rest are useless morons who should be ignored. They/he is not here to talk football.

In 11 games we played one good team.

Yesterday's Gone 4Ever,

I would be shocked and disappointed if the Dolphins don't go 7-9. They have 5 wins already and two of the games remaining are at home against the Bills and Jaguars. If we can't beat those two teams at home then they have bigger problems than we thought. 7-9 is pretty good for starting a rookie QB. If you can win 7 games this year and add 2 playmakers on each side of the ball, then there is no telling how good we will be. I would not get hung up on dropping down a few spots in the draft because I think that we have our franchise QB. There will be plenty of playmakers between 10 and 20 in the draft.

Craig, we all know you are lieing.

Agreed Craig, thats partly why Brady is sooooo good imo. The guy never gets touched. Then look at the games he gets pressured, turns into a normal qb.

Hey my buddies are at this game and had an extra ticket but I declined. Was regretting it at first but sitting in my warm house instead of the nose bleeds in the cold meadowlands changed my mind. So happy I didnt go!

CraigM,

Not to be a negative Nancy, but these are the Giants that have won 2 sb's in 5yrs. We arent even close. We just decided to spend a 1st rd pick on a qb.

We arent even close to Giants equal on either side of the ball. Giants have thier moments, but the difference between decision making in Miami and NY, isnt even conversation worthy.

Good points orlando

Phins78,

So you've decided to side with odinslime and dashe in your mouth?

Ok.

Orlando,

Under the circumstances, 7-9 is a pretty big accomplishment. Rookie QB, rookie HC, new coaches, new schemes, trade of Davis and Marshall....pretty damn good accomplishment in my book. I had them at 4-12 this year, so they will have far surpassed my expectation. My plan had Moore at QB, so I didn't expect good play from Tannehill. To me it's all a bonus.

Now everything changes next year. Honeymoon is over for Philbin, Ireland and Tannehill. Five picks in the first three rounds. I would think next year that the Dolphins have to be in the playoff round right until the end or in the playoffs for Ireland to keep his job. This year is about progress and I think we've seen some of that.

Phins 78,

Agreed. U don't have to pay attention to the Troll!!

But Like Dashi Told him earlier!!

Home/Truth/Oscar/Bill/Redsky/ a 1001 More! Is Not Even a Shell Of Himself!!!

We should be 7-4.

YG I have to disagree and this is purely from a history standpoint. The Giants turned it around quick, as did the Saints. Mediocre teams turn it around for manyr reasons. A couple of good breaks and you're a playoff team. And in the NFL , the parity league, anything can happen from year to year.

You say we are nowhere near the Giants. I live in NY and a lot of my friends are Giants fans. People wanted Coughlin fired half way into the season of his first super bowl. Ya never know.

We're going to the Super Bowl! YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PLAYOFFS????? Some of you (guy's) are sick and more impotantely (pun intended )SAD.

YG,

There are a couple of top tier CBs in this draft. Milliner from Alabama, Rhodes, and Banks are legit. I agree that the draft seems to be deep this year with Pass Rushers and the jury is still out on Vernon. He did not do much today. I am not sure about this WR class, there don't appear to be any Andre Johnsons in this draft. Never the less, I think that it is about finding playmakers at this point. If there is a superstar when you pick you take him no matter the position. I can't think of a position that we should pass up a top playmaker.

YG,

What does us drafting a rookie QB have to do with pass rush? I'm talking about how to win in this league. The blueprint it right in front of us. But you're right, let's ignore it and do it our own way. It's served us very well to date.

WE HAVE A TON OF MORONS ON HERE. On this site Who don't seem to understand football QB development how teams draft. Winning mentality development of a team and many others. Today was a HUGE win for Tannehill maybe in his career as a whole always big to get your first come from behind victory. This years draft coming lacks ANY kind of elite talent the best place to be drafting is just mid way because there are a lot of very good players especially on D. Picking top 10 in this draft as Tony Pauline and Todd McShay said is NOT a great place to be. LOL I love proving and making people look like morons. It's like my day job on here embarrassed some of you call yourself Dolphins fans. I.e Bill Connors. Jon (the loser) and Yesterdays gone forever

We'd be 9-2 with Moore.

We should be 7-4 and have played only 3 horrible games out of 11. In all other games we either won or were in it until the end.

Aaron Rodgers is not a top tier QB. He's not in the same class with Brady, the Mannings, Ryan, or Brees.

none of you

I keep hearing guys talking about Vernon being the answer at pass rush. Well I watched the game closely today and I didn't even see him and I watched in person last week in Buffalo and he was invisible. Sometimes I think some of you guys just want to be right without even thinking things through properly. Yes he's a rookie and yes he's shown flashes but the evidence that he's ready to be a starter next year just isn't there.

Dashi.

I see odin has been a HUGE influence on you.

Bush, Thomas, Bess, and Tanne get game balls.

I guess Carpenter can get a game ball for the winning kick, even though his weak leg allowed a return TD.

Dashi and Odindouche always say the same exact things.

But Dashi don't you see? The only reason he keeps posting every day is because you and others continue to amuse him by answering his stupid posts. He doesn't even care about football, hes just trying to get a rise out of people because it excites him. And when you answer his posts he laughs at you. You empower him by falling into the trap. Please tell me you see this.

If you guys would stop talking to him he would either go away or be forced to talk football. But you dont ignore him, you keep giving him reasons to continue his shtick. Im starting to think some of you enjoy the back and forth which makes me question why you complain at all about trolls ya know?

Reggie leads the league in rushing TDs over 15 yards. I'd say 20 yards but one of them was about 19 yards I think.

ATTA BOY justin

Justin,

So why don't you leave then. Sounds like your kind of fixated on the whole conversation. If you've got nothing to contribute and it's just bugging you then why are you still here. What exactly does that say about you?

Craig, it's "you're."

You been drinking Justin? You seem like a bit of a dimwit. Is that what you want us to believe or is this how you really are?

The following nancies are more hysterical than a woman:

DC Dulfan
Craig M

Justin great points to start. Dont agree with the bashing of others opinions but you had some good thoughts before that.

Craig,

I agree on Vernon. I hope that he is the answer so that we do not have to fill another void. I do not want the fins spending one of their first 5 picks on a DE or spending big money on one. I think that we should stick with our front next year and concentrate on puttig talent around T-hill and improving the secondary. The jury is still out on Vernon but at least we have Odrick who can help us get by until Vernon develops or we draft a DE high in the 2014 draft.

Thanks Cartman. Glad YOU'RE here to correct me. Can't be right all the time.

Love the drinkin

Give Craig a break, he is Canadian.

Ross is buying boatloads of his own tickets. Must've been 50,000 empty seats today.

Justin,

I guess you missed Phins78 brilliant explanation of a zone defense. He has a few steps on Coyle so I hope Coyle reads his comments.

I'm waiting for the gang of scuz (Phag78, Dashe, Odin, Kwissy) to broaden our horizons on the etymology of the word FootBall. We already know which way odin and dashe will take it ;)

Fixated!! On The Dashi!!

Must've Hit a Nerve!! Ha! Ha!! Dashi said it once! U've already reposted the same thing about 10 times! Since!! That is VERY REVEALING!!

AND U STILL HAVEN'T ANSWERED MY QUESTION U TUBESTEAK EATING MF'ER!! WHO'S SNOOKI? AND WHO'S JWOWW??

SAME QUESTION!! AS SPIT OR SWALLOW!! U QUEEN!! Yet U are FIXATED!! ON THAT ONE!! Wonder Why?? MR. RAINBOW FLAME!!

Spineless Coward!!

NOBODY IS ON ANYBODY'S SIDE!!!

Only u are DELUSIONAL ENOUGH TO HAVE SIDES ON A BLOG!!

Talk Football Fool!! Not Dashi!! Or Odin!! Who Hasn't been here!!

What is up with the Fixation On Dashi and Odin? Please Explain!
