This one is a smelly rotten egg so far.
The Dolphins have three turnovers, including two interceptions by Ryan Tannehill. And those turnovers have led to 10 Tennessee points.
The club is also playing sloppy -- with penalties and no discipline on contain lanes.
Richie Incognito was benched temporarily after a drive-killing personal foul penalty. Reggie Bush has spent a lot of time on the bench -- coincidently, after a fumble.
The Dolphins are getting their clock cleaned right now, 24-3.
The worst half of the season.
The live blog continues in the comments section. See you there.

Anybody still think we'll come back and win this game? LOL!!!

Money talks!!!
Posted by: sagneul | November 11, 2012 at 03:12 PM
Dolphins are an 8-8 team.
10-6 was unreasonable.
You people need to get over the emotional and unintelligent reactions to both wins and losses and stop being idiots.

fans call for miller, when they get miller they call for bush. flip flop fanbase LOL

Very depressing game today. Geez, what a step backwards!
Posted by: Armando Salguero | November 11, 2012 at 03:12 PM
If it's any consolation, the defending SB champs are getting SHELLACKED in Cincinnati.
Posted by: navydolfaninva | November 11, 2012 at 03:12 PM
Kris,
When others don't realize someone faked you, you turn into a hostile ahole about it and ridicule them,
Yet you do the same thing. Stop being such a hypocrite.
Posted by: ringer | November 11, 2012 at 03:12 PM
The announcer just said they own Miami today. That is a fair statement.
Posted by: dj starface | November 11, 2012 at 03:13 PM
On a brighter note, Armando will be posting the Fourth Qtr blog in 2 minutes.
Posted by: Angry Elf | November 11, 2012 at 03:13 PM
Andrew, you don't have a clue what you're talking about. Enjoy crying like a little beyatch. I'll continue to tell YOU exactly what's going on (obviously you're not smart enough to figure it out yourself).

Im so confused why harghbah, fisher and manning did not what to coem to loserville???
Posted by: GUPPIES | November 11, 2012 at 03:13 PM
Yeah, Tennessee lost badly last week, therefore it is ok that they are beating the tar out of Miami. Great logic. You work for Jeff Ireland?
Posted by: Andrew | November 11, 2012 at 03:13 PM
Add to this disgrace that we have a short week to Thursday...
Posted by: AisleBBach | November 11, 2012 at 03:13 PM
4th consecutive losing season. Give Ireland a raise and an extension.
Posted by: Moron Dolphins | November 11, 2012 at 03:14 PM
best in the league against the run!!!
Posted by: GUPPIES | November 11, 2012 at 03:14 PM
Where is Matt Moore? I know the game is over but let's see if Moore can at least mount some kind of comeback. Let's stir up a QB controversy. At least it is something to look forward to because the season is over. Forget about the playoffs.
This is an embarrassment.
Posted by: Orlando Dolphan | November 11, 2012 at 03:14 PM
Unbelievable!!! This is the worst game of the season. Far worse than the opening day loss.
Posted by: dj starface | November 11, 2012 at 03:14 PM
You guys should know we cant win a home game.
Posted by: Shula 73 | November 11, 2012 at 03:14 PM
Ok DC, thanks for telling me that what's going on with the Dolphins is positive. Keep lying to yourself. You sound like a Republican predicting a Mitt Romney landslide. It's sad.

CAN WE PLEASE WAVIE SEAN SMITH
Posted by: DEREK | November 11, 2012 at 03:14 PM
Andrew,
I'm guessing you think that the Giants should dismantle their team and fire all of their management because they are getting trounced by the Bengales, right?
Posted by: Jordan | November 11, 2012 at 03:15 PM
Pushed around and now they have officially QUIT! Gonna be some big changes this offseason!
Posted by: Angry Fin Fan | November 11, 2012 at 03:15 PM
Ross-I'm glad you gave to New York-now give to South Florida and Fire Ireland-Speak out like Bud Adams did and say we are not going to take it anymore-no talent no confidence-no players-no execution-defeatist play calling-where's the offense like Texas A + M who beat Alabama yesterday-allowing a 100 yard rusher-105 yards
Posted by: David | November 11, 2012 at 03:15 PM
Boycott this garbage.i will never give the dolphins another cent,,how many years of crap could we put up with...go.get hit by a car ross, philbin, ireland

professionals quit when they are losing big. the defense has laid down.
Posted by: austin | November 11, 2012 at 03:15 PM
What happened to our mighty D run defense?
Posted by: oscar canosa | November 11, 2012 at 03:15 PM
This game got ugly before the refs got involved. This team lacked focus today. Maybe they needed someone from TN to argue with like they did the Jets (yes, I know rivals etc...).
There is no excuse for undisciplined plays or mental errors. Was good to have a silver lining for a couple of weeks where we deluded ourselves into playoff talk. At least it is more than clear this team needs a lot of work.
Guess all the feel good stories will be put back on the shelves and the season can progress like we thought it would. But at least they have some pieces in place. Go Fins, just not today!
Posted by: nyfinfan | November 11, 2012 at 03:15 PM
can anyone tell me whyh our secondary is playing so so soft(as well as bad)???

Posted by: I think so | November 11, 2012 at 03:16 PM
the changes should happen now. why waste any more time with ireland....the verdict is in.
Posted by: austin | November 11, 2012 at 03:16 PM
No, the Giants just won a Super Bowl and are 6-4. They have recent success to point to as to why they are doing things the right way.
The Dolphins haven't been good in years. Comparing us to the Giants is the kind of intellectually bankrupt comparison I expect from Dolphins apologists.
Posted by: Andrew | November 11, 2012 at 03:16 PM
MORON, PROFESSIONAL teams have heart. They don't like to get embarrassed. Go back to watching gymnastics since you're OBVIOUSLY don't know ANYTHING about the NFL. This is a TRAP game. We overlooked this team. Happens every year in the NFL, to far superior teams. It's 2 games out of NINE the team didn't show up. Yet you whine like a little BEYATCH about it. Suck it up baby boy. Or maybe you need me to put my dick in your mouth.
Posted by: DC Dolfan | November 11, 2012 at 03:16 PM
Andrew,
Titans also beat Pittsburgh. Is Tennessee better than Pittsburgh?
FIRE TOM COUGHLIN!
Yep, sounds stupid, doesn't it?

PLEASE GO TO THE FOURTH QUARTER POST NOW.

Jordan, the Giants has won 2 SB in last 10 years... they shouldnt... the dolphins should... Stupid questions, stupid answers

Tannehill runs the 'prevent offense"

PLEASE GO TO THE FOURTH QUARTER POST NOW.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | November 11, 2012 at 03:17 PM
Don't worry about the Dolphins. We have a chess master GM Jeff Ireland who is undoubtedly preparing for a monster draft. Expect him to fill the Dolphins holes at defensive back, linebacker, defensive line, offensive line, and receiver with ease. Just a few more losing seasons, and it's PLAYOFFS BABY!
Posted by: Ireland's Republican Army | November 11, 2012 at 03:18 PM
Why is bush still out?
Posted by: thepirate19 | November 11, 2012 at 03:18 PM
Yep, comparing Tom Coughlin and his two rings to the Dolphins makes sense.
Miami LOST last week, DC, they should be fired up too, no? How do you overlook a team at 4-4. Resorting to threats of sexual violence. Not suprised, very indicative of the kind of stupidity and ignorance that could lead someone to think it's ok and shows progress to get blown out by the Titans.
Posted by: Andrew | November 11, 2012 at 03:18 PM
Alright little girls (Andrew), unwind your panties. In case u didn't notice, the Phins have a brand new coaching staff, rookie HC, rookie QB, and a lot of smoking debris let over by your bed buddy Sparano. This is gonna stake awhile. If you can't take the heat, get out the kitchen.
Posted by: Angry Elf | November 11, 2012 at 03:18 PM
We may not win a game again until we play he Jaguars in week 14 and this is such a bad loss that they may not win another game. The Titans are a horrible team and they crushed us at home.
It may be time to start cleaning house. Let Long, Starks, Smith, Bush, and Fasano go.
Posted by: Orlando Dolphan | November 11, 2012 at 03:18 PM
Andrew is that your mom shouting you, or is it the carer in the orphanage???
Posted by: Reg | November 11, 2012 at 03:18 PM
Fins are getting a SHELLACKING that will change the team's psyche for the rest of this season.
Posted by: Swamy | November 11, 2012 at 03:19 PM
Miami was completely outcoached and outplayed through three quarters. I hope we can attempt some defense and actually make a play on offense that doesn't end in a turnover.
Posted by: dj starface | November 11, 2012 at 03:19 PM
pretty frustrating game. When the Dolphins have a bad day, its pretty comprehensive.

Please dont compare miami to Stel or NYG, please be serious... stupid questions, stupid answers
Posted by: sagneul | November 11, 2012 at 03:19 PM
What is Tannehill's QB rating today? He has been awful! Is he the next Blaine Gabbert?
Posted by: Orlando Dolphan | November 11, 2012 at 03:20 PM
wow what a way to lose a game when you are in the playoff hunt. smh im not mad i just disappointed. when you lose the turnover battle and have more flags then the other team you are going to lose the game. BIM
Posted by: head | November 11, 2012 at 03:21 PM
All this team can do is dink and dunk. I thought Tannahill was the answer, but he is like all the rest. I'm sick and tired of excuses by the coaches. I always use to look forward for Sundays and the fins. Now I think I'll go shopping with my wife. Oh, by the way, my wife is a dolphins fan.
Posted by: mike stevens | November 11, 2012 at 03:21 PM
This is Jake Locker right? What is the over/under when they get Brady?
Posted by: willnyc | November 11, 2012 at 03:21 PM
The Giants went through some rough years with Eli, and their fans were calling for Coughlins head. Fortunately, cooler heads prevailed, and they stuck with it. A few years later, 2 Superbowls followed.
You can't judge a new regime based on the failures of the predecessors. I understand people calling for Ireland's head, simply because of his tenure here (though I personally like much of the talent he's provided for the team).
