Titans lead Dolphins 31-3 to start fourth quarter

Chris Johnson just went over 100 yards, marking the first time the Dolphins have given up a 100-yard game to any running back in 22 games.

On another note, the Dolphins are getting destroyed, 31-3.

Northing has gone right today. This has been a total team collapse so far.

And the live blog and game continue. Join me in the comments section.

We, and I mean WE, have nothing against the Jewish People. You can keep on posessing this Country, the World, its Arts, Science etc,. But we will NOT allow for you to handle the Miami Dolphins. Why such a trifle, you might say? It is Our wish. If you want to discuss this further we are all willing, you know?

Maybe Ms. Ross can organize another Teblow suck fest.

Oscar the pass defense lost that game IMO and I picked the Colts to win for several reasons.I expected them to win but I didnt make a pick. The Dolphins are not a playoff team.

I thought I'd take a walk and maybe feel differently. Nope. This franchise is the worst and Ireland needs to go now.

Oscar you post that you have a PHD why do you think they lost against the Titans?

Lets Go Heat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate to break it to you, but the owner of the Miami Dolphins is Jewish.

Since nationality was brought up lets clear that as well.

I'm AMERICAN. I was born and raised in America. I'm a damned PROUD American.

But, I my Fathers family was originally from Ireland, moved here in 1867. And my Moms family was originally from Italy and moved here in 1907.

As are most if not all of you I am a mutt who also has a little American Indian, and French Canadian in my blood.

I stuck up for Italians because my Grandmother was Italian and had just passed when the morons in here decided to start making bigoted remarks about Italians. I cared then because I was hurt by her passing. I've been able to move on and don't care what hateful people think anymore.

But for you haters you can now start making fun of Indians and the French. That's sure to pi%^ off this American! ;)

..I have said this before. I may not be qualified to speak on this mattter. But this is my opinion from experience in SFLA.. So many things to do that are better options on a Beautiful day why would you go to a Dolphins home game v the Titans? Way more options that sound much better then sitting in that stadium watching this team at this point.

This has nothing to do with the diehards..They are going to go. The casual fan, the out of towner...Why would you? To support what? The team has a ways to go before earning the trust of a broader base. It is easy to say after todays loss, and hindsight is a great excuse. But I would rather be doing something else in SFLA if I were down there today. The Titans?? It just doesn't sound that appealing. I don't blame the SFLA fans one bit. I actually applaud them...Put out a better product.

Phins 78...

The problem is TOO MANY FANS put TOO MUCH STOCK in that undefeated team CRAP.....

I wasn't even BORN when the FINS pulled of this feat....and if you were old enough to enjoy it BACK THEN...then your OLD NOW...PERIOD...

Not an insult...not a JAB....just a FACT....

The FIN FANS need to move past 72...and start demanding we BUILD FOR THE NOW...and for the FUTURE.....

YG4E if you posted that they would possibly overlook the Titans.I found something we agree on.

And you want to know why no one goes to the games...no playmakers on this team... They should be ashamed of themselves and give back their paychecks...I never post but this was disgusting. This team will win nothing in the next 50 years until the mentality changes.

Andrew is a moron, backtracking from his," People who support Matt Moore are morons", argument.
Btw idiot, I'm an Atheist.
God sure made you stupid lol.

King Shula, this is NOT the same Team that played only 2 weeks ago. Why not? We have to find that out if we are to remain realistic in our thinking regarding this Sport. I don't like to be delusional.

Kris, you don't have to apologize. I wasn't old enough to enjoy it, I was a 1 year old when it happened. I'm 41 now,,,,and yes that is old in years, but I guarantee you I'm in better shape than most who are half my age. But yeah, the memory is starting to go :) j/k

King Shula....

How does a 4-4 team LOOK PAST anyone.....

they don't.....

This has NOTHING to do with "looking past" a team...and EVERYTHING to do with NOT being good enough to compete....

But 32nd in the league when two weeks ago we were in the 6th playoff slot. Today they were still fighting for that spot and no one showed up. It's just really disappointing. I would have at least liked to see some support for the guys, I'm sure they could have used it as fuel...

Posted by: Phins78 | November 11, 2012 at 04:53 PM

See Phins, now THAT'S something I can agree 100% with. You won't get an argument about being disappointed from me. If you're saying it's disappointing, then we're in complete harmony. Heck, being on the blog, I think the most diehard Dolphins fans live outside of Florida. But what can we do? And yes, it's a vicious cycle. I just hope Philbin can turn things around so people will start coming back and supporting them. I want a full house, making noise, cheering on the team too. I guess we're just arguing about which comes first, the chicken or the egg.

Anyway, good discussion folks. Tough day, raw feelings. I'm going to take my mind off this horrendous loss and cook some dinner. Later.

God didn't want the Dolphins to win today.

King Shula,

Its awfully difficult for a team to get up for a team they watched lose 51-20. I believe even had we ben a sb championship team, we could have lost or won by 3pts today.

But this current team is nowhere close to good enough to win overlooking anyone. Not even Girl Scout cookie teams.

Look at this in the past 20 years 23 Football Players have commited suicide due to encephalopathy. We don't want that, do we?

Righto Kris...........When I heard the NO-ATL announcers start saying "The 1972 Fins can celebrate," I FINALLY realized ENOUGH ALREADY! Tired of being trapped in the past...........I want a Real Owner, GM, Coach & QB ASAP.

Blow it up or Move to L.A...............The TannySmell experiment has definitively failed.

Phins, join the mutt club. I'm so many different ethnicities I don't even know them all. EFFE the haters. Gives you a good sense of the World. And mutts will rule the World one day, so if we're not already the majority we'll soon be.

...I never post but this was disgusting. This team will win nothing in the next 50 years until the mentality changes.
Posted by: uwe | November 11, 2012 at 05:03 PM

You never post, but your posting?

So what, your a liar? An idiot? Clueless?

Which is it?

Forget it, don't even answer. Just go back to "never posting" PLEASE.

Sheesh!

And Kris that still doesn't explain it fully. Yes fans need to move on and want a new winner. But there are always a million excuses why Dolphins fans don't show up to games , the not winning in a long time being the main reason. Yet there are teams who never won, even as far back as 72' , they have no history, they have no hope it seems, and the fans keep going.

The only excuse that makes sense is that there is so much to do. I don't want to hear this they are losing crap. They were the 6th best team in the league 2 weeks ago and still no one comes out while the 32nd best team in the league gets 10,000 more fans than we do.

Has to be location. And in that case I believe my original point stands, Miami fans are among the worst in the league no matter the excuse. The numbers don't lie.

We had one bad game and yall crying already...fake ass dolphin fans..smh get off the bandwagon.

Saying 72 dolfans are stuck in the past is a great falsehood. Its the 72 Dolphins team that celebrates everytime a team loses to become "defeated". It isnt the 72 dolfans.

I cherish being able to watch the fins win sb cahampionships in the past but Im not "stuck in the past". Only thing Im stuck in is "the present". Just as this farnchise has seemed to be stuck over the past 15yrs.

Saying 72 fans are stuck in the past, is an outlandish statement, and made using very little critical thought. Just like as most posts in a football blog are made with.

Sun Death stadium is vastly overrated...........poor sight lines, broiling hot, too far from the field, you name it. There are at least a half-doz stadiums in league FAR SUPERIOR to that open-air oven.

Why go see an inferior product & be annoyed by drunks & pay outrageous prices?

Whose mentality, pal? Really interested to know.

This has NOTHING to do with "looking past" a team...and EVERYTHING to do with NOT being good enough to compete....

Posted by: Kris | November 11, 2012 at 05:05 PM

I think your basically correct. They can compete, but not at the level of a playoff calibre team.

Add in the 4 turnovers and it spells Blow Out.

Nothing more, nothing less, it's a rebuild year with all new componenets. Rookies and all. There's going to be untimely setbacks along the way.

You guys need to realize there are very few Americans in Miami. The vast majority were born abroad and have absolutely no interest in football, and never will, winning or losing.

It's that simple. Good luck getting someone to speak English with you at Miami International.

Heck, AA Arena is always packed, mostly by Cubans. Why is Sun Life Stadium not?

You can have lunch at the food court in the malls of Dade and Broward Counties and not here English spoken at any table next to you.

Jeff Ireland has stocked the Dolphins with great players. Can someone explain why they play so bad?

The Messicans Stole Our Team!

The same happened to me in Italy, Kugle.

You can have lunch at the food court in the malls of Dade and Broward Counties and not here English spoken at any table next to you.

Posted by: Kugle | November 11, 2012 at 05:14 PM

Not "HERE ENGLISH", really? It's hear not here english. LOL

Are you serious....

FIN FANS world wide will celebrate with Shula and Morris....tonight as they sip Champaign and make the SC/NFLN circuit......

I understand that many FIN FANS may not live in the 1972....but you need to acknowledge that there are many that do....

go back a few pages in this blog....you will see Angry Elf posting...about it in REAL TIME (when the falcons lost).....

Blow it up or Move to L.A...............The TannySmell experiment has definitively failed.

Posted by: Elijah The Truth Teller | November 11, 2012 at 05:09 PM

You figured that out after just 9 starts?

Wow, I'm sure some NFL teams will be calling you up with all kinds of job offers. Anyday now, just wait. Keep waiting..........

What an idiot lol.

kris,

I'll actually be glad when another team does go undefeated/untied with a sb championship. That how over it Im becoming.

Its a great accomplishment but has zero benifit on "what have you done for us lately". The 72 dolphins arent coming thru that locker room again. At least not to play m game days.

For the Dolphins to improve:

Ireland needs to be fired
Philbin needs to be fired
Sherman needs to be fired
Coyle needs to be fired
Tannehill needs to be moved to WR or benched
Ross needs to sell the team to someone with a clue

It sure smells that the Coaches have not had this Team prepared for the last 2 weeks. What you think? Philbin? Playing possum for NE?(there, I gave you a rationale for you to feel better).

Bill,

Why even bother hiring another hc. Im sure according to guys like you, he's only being hird to be fired anyway. Right? LOL

Ross only cleaned half the house when he fired Sparano. Irescum is the dirtiest part.

This team is a real disappointment. It really does have a solid nucleus of players (THILL, Thomas, Miller, Bess, Hartline, Pouncey, Long, Martin, Jerry, Incognito, Wake, Solai, Starks). But they have too many holes and they really tend to crumble in tough game conditions.

Too many penalties. Too many broken coverages. Not able to convert short yardage. Unable to consistent put pressure on the QB. No ability to go deep. No receiving TE.

They are a 5 win team. I knew that going into the season and saw it as a rebuild. But I let the first 7 games lead me into a false sense of optimism. This team is being rebuilt and it won't be complete next year. Just too many glaring needs.

YG @ 5:21.....

Agree...I was hoping the Falcons would do it this year....we have no "real" ties to the falcons....Sure there are plenty of "imaginary" ties and connections....but no real ones....

It would be far better they do it...then the PATS do it....

For the Dolphins to improve:

Posted by: Bill | November 11, 2012 at 05:21 PM

EVERYBODY and their brother knows Tannehill doesn't have the skills to play WR in the NFL. Much like the totality of your post, you are a lost cause.

Move Tannehill to WR?

I thought Ronson was an idiot lol. You just moved into first place. If this was a special olympics events, you'd be a champ. lol.

Oscar,

I dont believe preparation has anything to do with the last two weeks.

I believe lack of a true wr corps, the db unit, and Jake Long is 99% of the problem. 1% of it's everything else.

I'd say there are about 50 people in the office I work at. I don't believe more than 7 are American. 90% of the employees at banks, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, retail stores are foreign born in South Florida.

And people wonder why the stands are empty? They would be empty if we were 9-0 too.

A good owner, a good GM, a good head coach and a good QB. The rest of the pieces will fall into place. We have NOT had that combination since Joe Robbie and won't have it till Ross fires Ireland. I have been wrong on Ireland, I think it's time to make a change. He has left some gaping holes on this team and the negative environment engulfing this team will not go away until he is fired. How can you blame a single fins fan for staying away, it is a gut wrenching experience spending money and watching this team. The only opinion we have that ownership will listen to is lack of attendance. It's been along time since we got our monies worth and as a fan I will not justify the owners lack of insight by giving him my money. If sitting back and excepting a below average product is being a TRUE fan then I guess I am a bandwagon jumper too

LOL don't look for amy admissions or apologies. But the Numbers don't lie. Florida Football Fans suck.

This game was a disaster. OK....they happen and it is what it is. But there are some clear things that have been exposed the past few weeks:

Bush is on the decline and he fumbles too much. No need to resign him.
Long should be resigned but he on the decline.
Incognito just has too many penalties. He is really hurting drives and he needs to go.
Smith is an absolute joke. He needs to go.
Wilson is not an NFL CB. It's a shame he is on the field at all.
We really need a big time WR because dink and dunk is not working.
Dansby is overpaid and inconsistent.

Irescum does NOT coach Wake, Pouncey, Long, Starks. Yes?

at least we aint the sorry arse jets! they are getting pounded by the seaducks!

Okay guys, I'm done. This was a nice distraction from the days events. Whatever the reasons or excuses, Miami fans don't show up for Marlins games, Dolphins games, or Panthers games and they didn't show up for Heat games until the team begged and eventually proved they were in contention. Same with the Panthers, fans don't show up until they are playoff bound. I don't know why and don't care, it just sucks! lol

kris,

I would never want to see the Pats go unbeaten with a sb championship. Espn would claim him god of the universe and build a shrine to worship at his feet.

I was hoping I was wrong but now I have to admit the trolls are right. There isnt anything good anywhere near the Dolphins FO.

Just telling it like it is, Howie.

The truth stings like an acid bath.

You keep wishing & hoping & clapping-louder & looking for Unicorns, if it makes you feel better.

Only reason to resign Long is to trade him. At least we get something back for our 1st overall pick.

Philbin benched Bush. Then he benched Cognito. Which resulted in an immediate sack.

But I thought it was fantastic. At one point he wanted to bench the entire team.

The good thing about it, when things got out of hand, Philbin started playing all the rookies and young guys. Good move when your rebuilding.

Would have liked to see Devlin instead of Moore. And a little sooner too. Good move on pulling Tannehill at that point too.
