Bess, Misi out for Sunday vs. Jacksonville

The Dolphins will be without two starters, one on offense and one on defense, when they host the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday.

The club this afternoon ruled wide receiver Davone Bess and linebacker Koa Misi as out.

Bess has been basically shut down this week with some sort of back injury. Misi also missed practice throughout the week with an ankle injury.

It's next man up:

For Misi, the Dolphins will probably substitute Jason Trusnik. Trusnik played when Misi left the game against San Francisco last week.

For Bess, the team may use more of Marlon Moore or Rishard Matthews.

The Jaguars are also going to limp into Sunday's game. That club announced that five players are out.

Running back Maurice Jones-Drew, running back Rashad Jennings, cornerback Aaron Ross, defensive end George Selvie, and running back Jordan Todman are all out.

Wide receiver Cecil Shorts, who has missed time with a concussion, is probable for the Jags. Defensive back Jimmy Wilson, who missed last week's game against San Francisco with a hip injury, is probable for the Dolphins.

Duck major overhaul coming

Individually, it is obvious he was psychologically very sick.

Posted by: oscar canosa | December 14, 2012 at 09:13 PM

How enlightening Oscar !! Did u learn that in Kookoo school?

You People are scared now, even Bond.

Duck Ross will command Ireland to perform a Loria clensing of payroll in the off-season.

Duck if you thought this year was rough for T-Hill next year he will feel like General Custer at the battle of Little Big Horn.

Oscar why should we be scared I think all the bloggers on here graduated elementary school dont you think

OSCAR...CHANGE THE SUBJECT ,PLEASE

DASHI, I RESPECT YOU AND YOUR VIEWS.

Not one of your sons, King Shula.

which one

Who are you to ask me to change the subject, ALoco? Do you know It, or do you know my aims with It? Ban me if you must.

Of course the younger one, King Shula.

I NOTICED ,WHEN DISASTER HAPPENS ,THE FIRST TO START CHEERING IS OSCAR,HE LOVES BAD NEWS ........

I NEVER HEARED A VET DOCTOR BY THE NAME (( OSCAR ))....

You People have always been too Scared to understand Revenge. Do you really think we were let the Japanese go, having killed 3,500 of unsuspecting Ours? Of course not.

Joey Philbin thinks that Anthony Armstrong and Marlon Moore are betters football players than Brandon Marshall. So I have all the confidence in the world that Binns will be a bust too.

I SECOND ,HE FIRING OF MR SHERMAN .............

I doubt Joey Philbin goes acorn hunting on the holidays

The biggest Revenge of this Country, against Powers that have had It constrained for 150 years, is coming Up.

ACORN SQUACH ,ONE OF THE BEST SQUACH AROUND ........

NICE WITH SOUPS OR ROASTED.

Terrible Stuff, but it has to be done.

OSCAR,

PLEASE CHANGE THE SUBJECT AND SPARE US YOUR RANT.

Mr Sherman no saca mas cuetas tira la pelota,La bomba para Mathews

Yur boy Henny has intentions of upstting the apple cart in South Beach throw the freakin ball deep to Mathews

No, that's it, ALoco. You, specially you, I know will think about It. I will just read now.

I hope the plane flys over on Sunday the teams playin greasy the garage manager dont buy mechanic soap

Bush is Not Even The Best RB On His Team!

L.Miller Will Get 1000 Yds In His Sleep Next Year!!

The Marsha Argument! Again, Which Brought Him HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE!! IRELAND HASN'T WASTED A FIRST ROUND PICK!! ON YATIL GREEN!! BIGGEST BUST EVER!! FOLLOWED BY JOHN AVERY!! AND JJ THE RB!! A 2ND Round Pick!!

Again, The Scout Hasn't Wasted Anything Over A 3rd On A Wr!! F he can Find Bess(& M.Moore) as A Acorn! And Drafted Hartline In The 4th!! He Can Do Better Than S.Hill With a 2nd Round Pick!! Or D.Bryant With A First!!

Check Ireland's Track Record With His First Round Picks!!
Long
V.Davis
J.Odrick
M.Pounce
R.Tannehill

Yes!! Vontae is NOT ON THE TEAM!! But he still Got a 2nd Round Pick For Him! What did we get for Jason Allen? T.Ginn?

Also! Dashi Has Said ALL YEAR!! THE FINS HAVE NO DEPTH!! AT LB!! To Bad It's Misi That Went Down! NOT THE OTHER 2 OVERPAID SCRUBS!! But The Fins Biggest Weakness On Defense Are The LB's!! Even In The Wretched Secondary!! We Had 3 CB's!! Ireland Traded 1 For a 2nd! And The Other ONE went Down! Clemons Goes Down! I Believe His Back Up Will Do Just Fine! Can't Do Worst!!

With That Said!! Expect Ireland's Next First Round Pick To Be M.Te'o!! The New Qb Of The Defense!! With The Fins Signing The Lb From Cincy In Fa!! To Have The First All Samoan LB Corp! Dashi Will Be Happy for Christmas If Ireland and Philbin Get Me This!! Get Rid Of Dansby & Burnett!!

Heck!! Te'o Is Already Going To Be Trying Out The Stadium Against Bama In Sun Life!!

Now That I Think about It!! Let's Just Keep It Competitive!! As Long as T-Hill Shows Something!! Doesn't Turn The Ball Over!! And The Line Plays Well!! Both Of Them!! Dashi will be OK with Dansby and Smith Giving Games Away In The Fourth!!

Dashi Sees The Light at The End Of The Tunnel!! But Dansby Needs To Keep Throwing Games Away!! We Need To Lose Out To at Least Have a Shot at A Top 5 Pick!! 6-7 Wins and The Fins are Pick 10-15 Easily!! And Hopefully Wommack Is Still On The Board!! But He Is The Only Other Sure Thing In The First!!

Bush should put some grease on his uniform so he will be harder to tackle and he can get a big deal somewhere next year.

OSCAR,

THE NFL SHOULD POSTPONE ALL GAMES IN HONOR OF THE DEAD KIDS..............

THAT IF THEY DO HAVE ANY GRACE............

AS FOR US ,THE DOLPHINS,IT DOESN'T MATTER,WE WILL BE WAITING IN THE BASEMENT .....

DASHI,

YOU UNDERSTAND WHEN YOU TALKING ABOUT THE DOLPHIN PLAYERS,YOU R TALKING ABOUT THE WORST PLAYERS IN THE NFL .

Gnight to all the screen names and the person that writes their schitx for them

Oh and Oscar.

If This Doesn't Prove The Need For Gun Control!! Then I don't know What has To Happen?

If You Really want To Make a Impact!! Raise The Prices Of Ammo!! Guns Don't Kill People!! Bullets Kill People!! If Each Bullet Cost $100! Trust Me!! Bullets Won't be Flying Like This is The Wild Wild West!! When It Cost You $1600 Dollars To Unload a Clip!! Trust Me!! You Will Put In More Thought!! Into What You Are About To Do!! You Wouldn't "PRACTICE" AS MUCH!! The NRA And The Gun Company Won't Allow!! For Guns Not Being Sold!! I Wouldn't Either!! Just Make It So Expensive!! Or Tax It So High! That It Makes It A Luxury To Shoot A Gun!!

Dashi misses not only THE POINT, but ALL the points. If he was a trial lawyer, he'd be broke.

It is ok to love your own opinion. It is rare that other's will.

A loco,

At least 8 Teams with Worst Records Than The Dolphins Right Now!! We are Average!! Or Mediocre!! The Browns and Jag's Suck!!

And

Sports has Nothing To Do With This Tragedy!! Out Of Anything!! This Sunday Should Serve as A Great Day To Give Awareness About Gun Violence!! And How To Spot Troubled Individuals!!

Now All Gun Competition and Hunting Season Should Be Suspended!! (Sorry Odin!)

But

To Much Mass Violence Going On!! I Don't Mind The Individual Stuff!! But Still!! U should KNOW!! U ONLY USE A GUN!! WHEN YOU ARE GOING TO KILL SOMETHING!! IT IS THE MOST DANGEROUS WEAPON ON EARTH!! IF YOU AIM RIGHT!! That Is It!! The End!!

And all You Need To Do To Carry A weapon! Is Take a 4 Hour Course!! Where You Don't Even Take A Test!! At The End!! And Some Places You Just Have To Pay The Right Price!! And The 4hour Course is a 30 Minute Review!! Never Mind You Can Buy Without A Concealed!! It Will Just Take You!! A Couple Days!! To Get It!!

AND THAT IS NOT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING!!

THE BULLETS!!

ANY ONE OVER 18(Or Is It 21)!! Can Buy Bullets!! ANYWHERE!! NO BACKGROUND CHECK OR NOTHING!! GO TO WALMART!! OR ANY STORE OF THAT TYPE!! THEY DON'TEVEN RUN YOUR LICENSE FOR THE THING THAT DOES THE KILLING!!

50 Bullets $20 Dollars!! U just need To find a Gun! Anyone can Buy Bullets!!

Bush is the face of the franchise. The only player opposing D's have to game plan for. The only good playmaker on the team. Not resigning him would be another pathetic decision by a pathetic franchise.

Bush can't consistently run effectively between the tackles without getting hurt. If his contract is reasonable I say keep him. If he wants top 5 running back in the NFL money I say let him walk. Dolphins have made the mistake for years paying big money to situational players. You want big money, be a three down back.

I have an opinion too, and years of experience watching and reading about the NFL.

But let's face it. None of us know Jack SHYT. No NFL organization would pay us a nickel for our thoughts,

We are all a bunch of blow hards hoping a few feeble minded bloggers will respect us, yet deep down we know that we can respect anyone that looks up to our hollow, egotistical and most of all trivial ramblings.

can't

Okaaaaaaay......

BOYCOTT THE FINS UNTIL IRELAND IS FIRED! WE'RE SICK AND TIRED OF THE LOSING! HELP MAKE THE CHANGE!

Boycott supports the team by coming here. LOL. People are dumber than dumb.

my girlfriends pussay tastes like camel sweat. i don't know what it is. i washed her out thoroughly up there with all kinds of soaps but she tastes bad. i like girls that taste like spring water or vanilla. she is a freaking great bounce though. blows my woozle 2 or 3 times a day.

Agree with Mando! Phins irrelevant!!!!!

Ireland MUST GO!!!!!!!

Glad Parcells went, time for Ireland to say... bye, bye! Hasta la vista baby! ADIOS!!!!!

It is good thinking that they have been playing Thigpen in the slot because all our other receivers do not fit that role. Now, there are questions about Thigpen's hands and route running, but, who knows, sometimes injuries uncover a better Player than the incumbent.

The best way for a Governmewnt to control its People is to not give them Weapons of any kind.

The Greatest Weapon in the History of Mankind is Internet.

AGREE WITH DASHI AND OSCAR ON THE GUN ISSUE...YOU CAN'T GIVE A DEADLY WEAPON TO SICK,IGNORANT,UNEDUCATED AND VERY UNBALANCED MINDS..........

I HOPE THE NFL SUSPEND THE GAMES THIS WEEK....

Did Aloco get COHERENT @ 5:28 am....guess it takes a rested mind to consciously misspell words @ a 1st grade rate.....I'll assume that @ 5:28 am....Aloco (character) was just to tired to think.....and instead of INTENTIONALLY misspelling words....or leaving them out altogether.....in his tired/lazy state...he actually wrote like a regular person.....

good for him.....

We seem to be getting a clearer picture of what Head Coach Joe Philbin wants from his team. Asked about the availability of Bess for the Jax game, Philbin answered that his experience shows that players that don't practice, don't do well on Sunday. Forget Bess.

Asked about availability of new WR Armon Binns for Jax, Philbin responded that he seemed a quick learner and with another practice to go, Philbin left the impression that Binns could see the field Sunday.

It is becoming increasingly clear that, for players in Miami, good showings in practices are the clearest path to playing in games on Sunday. No practice: no play time. Don't know the playbook: no playtime. Don't know your responsibilities: no playtime. Can't practice at game speed: no playtime. Screw up in games: no playtime.

It is a culture change for the Dolphins for sure. Philbin is insistent in his demands for discipline, responsibility and accountability. But fans here have noted that his refusal to yield to anything less than his core beliefs may have hurt the teams in games this year.

Free agency is coming up and fans are clamoring for notable free agency signings to fill some big holes. But will Philbin (and Ireland, who apparently shares player acquisition philosophy with Philbin) deliver on some of the big names touted by fans?

Philbin's locker room, practice and game play rules seemingly don't sit well with veteran players, especially those bordering on the outspoken and particularly diva-leaning personalities. Just think about B. Marshall, C. Ochocinco and V. Davis.

Philbin wants stand-out players; he just doesn't want them to STAND OUT. His (and Ireland's) record so far this year doesn't look too swell. Hopefully, it gets better for 2013.

Phins 78 @ 5:28 PM....

Great post...and I couldn't have said it better myself.....

DC said said a few days ago that "you can't learn everyone's writing style"....and he is right to a degree...but if you pay attention enough (and I do)......you can pick up on certain quirks that regular posters use...I try to put as many quirks in my writing style as I can.....since impostering is ramped on this blog....I try an do it to prove my innocence to the ACTUAL REAL posters should I ever have to....

earlier this week....DC armed me with some disturbing information.....during Sunday's game...I was impostered in BLUE....and I became LIVID......even to the point where DC began to question if I was real or a TROLL....I had no idea I was having that kind of negative effect on the blog.....and if he thought it....I am sure some other regs could have come to the same conclusion.....perhaps I was a bit to aggressive in my defense....in DC's opinion....

Like I have said before.....if you don't have you're name on this blog...then you don't have anything.....which is why i DETEST those who post under multiple names....and take both sides of the argument under different names....and make up names either to agree with their already fake names....or to attack posters under multiple names......

Like you Phins 78.... I bully the bullies....and If they don't like being called out (which I will do when I see enough similarity in writing style).....then they need to pic a name and stick with it.....

I'll be the 1st to admit....i'm not the most likable in real life or over the net....I don't laugh if the joke ain't funny....and I don't dance if I don't hear any music.....

So I have ZERO problem with YG...OSCAR....or anybody else having issue with me...or my opinions....I just don't understand why they can't do it under ONE NAME.....whichever name that is going to be......

Anyway....no matter how many names you TROLLS want to use (even mine on occasion)....i'm not going anywhere...so unless the HERALD BANS me for continuing to expose the FRAUDULENT product that the put before us (troll names linked directly to the HERALD)......then I will be here....so get used to it.....

Billcale.....

That was an outstanding post @ 7:50.....

I'be been in Philbin's pocket since before his hire.....but over the last few weeks....even I have started to waiver just a bit.....his practice philosophy was starting to sound a bit like the dreaded Sporano.....

But they way you put you're post (even as balanced as it was)....has made me re-think the whole Philbin philosophy...and I am AGAIN...1000% on board again.....

Great POST........

still hope Ireland goes tho....

Thanks Kris. I'm with you. It's been hard this year to hang on to a belief that Philbin is THE guy but I do believe his no-nonsense approach will accrue benefits in the future. To me, it is distinctly different from the methods employed over the past decade or more which ended in failures. I just don't know how long fans or Ross will give it as at times this year it has looked like much of the past.

I believe winning solves all of these problems. From Philbin's philosophy to even the name changing on this blog.
I also believe our questioning of Philbin speaks volumes to our team leadership. Dansby seems to be our most outspoken team leader and to an extent Reggie Bush. Neither player likes what Philbin has done and has spoken out against it (Dansby & Burnett more than Bush). If we had TRUE VETERAN LEADERSHIP on this team we would have a whole different perspective of Philbin and his style. If we had Ray Lewis and he bought in and preached Philbin's philosophy none of us would question it.
I'm sure players didn't like Bellichik's style of coaching at first but when your future HOF QB barks to the same tune it makes it a lot easier. His philosophy is my way or the highway. Philbin's philosophy is my way (team first) or the highway. If we had any player that had such a presence that people listened and cared to what he said then we wouldn't have this issue. Sadly we don't have that player, thus we don't have the proper leadership to bring this team together but rather we seem divided between the young guys and the vets

Yes, D20, you are right. The Miami Herald ran an article this AM on the Pats:
http://www.miamiherald.com/2012/12/15/3143080/bbb-the-patriots-way-works.html

The interviewer asked Tom Brady about playoff possibilities. Brady's answer:

"That's a hypothetical," he says of any questions seeking his prognostications. "We don't answer hypotheticals at the Patriots. Belichick would stand up here and say, 'You moron. Why would you answer a hypothetical question like that?' ''

'Nuff said.

MiamiD20.....

I agree with what you're saying to a certain extent....but Dansby's play doesn't warrant his UNQUESTIONED LEADERSHIP in the locker room....

Perhaps PAY does....may it because he has played for more than a month with a "torn bicep"....so maybe he wins the locker "tough guy" award....

No question...thru the media...Dansby has been anything but a good Soldier...but it is his LACK of play making that forms my negative opinion of him....with ALL things considered......

Why stop with (ammo) Dashi, Why not go after knives or rocks and cars. THIS ITEMS KILL POEPLE TOO!!!

Just looked at stats... Looks like Tannehill and Luck are having nearly identical seasons. Virtually the same QB rating (74 vs 72). I wonder what Tannehill would have done throwing to Wayne, Hilton, and 2 stud tight ends (you can read about them here http://www.indystar.com/article/20120828/SPORTS03/120828035/Indianapolis-Colts-rookie-tight-ends-Coby-Fleener-Dwayne-Allen-no-problem-doing-dirty-work

How good can this guy become? No reason to think at least as good as Luck with a supporting cast.
