OK, so maybe it isn't the most exciting game on the schedule.
But the Jaguars scored ... a field goal.
And the Dolphins scored ... a field goal.
Game's tied 3-3.
The live blog continues in the comments section. Who knows, maybe somebody scores a touchdown this quarter.
How exciting!

This is awful, I'm joining the crowd. BUST

At least this disaster might get Ireland fired.
Posted by: Earl | December 16, 2012 at 01:58 PM
The only rational thing to do when the Dolphins play so poorly is sign Jeff Ireland for another few years.
Posted by: Ireland's Republican Army | December 16, 2012 at 01:58 PM
We officially SUCK!! Ireland/Philbin, watch out. Your job is on the line.
Posted by: DC Dolfan | December 16, 2012 at 01:58 PM
OMG...This is unwatchable.
Posted by: We Have Draft Picks | December 16, 2012 at 01:58 PM
If Matt Barkley falls to us in the first round why not?
Posted by: dj starface | December 16, 2012 at 01:58 PM
The Jaguars are simpley a joke.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | December 16, 2012 at 01:58 PM
what a meaningless game, so pathetic
Posted by: richard3000 | December 16, 2012 at 01:58 PM
Only 3 TDs to WR for the Dolphins on the year. That is an unbelievable stat in this era of football.
Posted by: Chris in the 623 | December 16, 2012 at 01:59 PM
Everybody play versus Miami excellent...can some tell the sprinkle guy to open it right now please
Posted by: Tony in Miami | December 16, 2012 at 01:59 PM
I know we need more talent but what I'm seeing is a poorly coached team.
Posted by: cocoajoe | December 16, 2012 at 01:59 PM
LOL Thank goodness the only worse than us is Jacksonville
Posted by: nyfinfan | December 16, 2012 at 01:59 PM
Whoa...our OLine can't block AND can't jump on the ball. Tannehill pulled a Marc Sanchez with a dumb fumble
Face it, our team is f*cking garbage....who's ready for the 2013 draft!
Posted by: MiamiD20 | December 16, 2012 at 01:59 PM
So we got a scrap heap free agent covering their first round pick?
Posted by: dj starface | December 16, 2012 at 01:59 PM
Even the refs are sucking today
Posted by: jtlawson5 | December 16, 2012 at 01:59 PM
Boo.. Jags got robbed.
Posted by: Millions | December 16, 2012 at 01:59 PM
team with little talent and very boring
Posted by: gocanes1 | December 16, 2012 at 02:00 PM
DC,
You still under the impression that Tannehill's learning from all of this stuff? When is enough, enough? You said yourelf today, 'the kid's regressing'. When do we see the evidence of the 'learning'?
Posted by: Craig M | December 16, 2012 at 02:00 PM
"The Jaguars are simpley a joke." What does that say about this AWFUL AWFUL dolphins team?
Posted by: Earl | December 16, 2012 at 02:00 PM
Ha!!!!
Posted by: We Have Draft Picks | December 16, 2012 at 02:00 PM
WTF? LOL HAHAHAH!!! FINALLY A CALL GOES OUR WAY!!! TAKE THAT HENNE!!!!
Posted by: dj starface | December 16, 2012 at 02:00 PM
We CAN'T lose to this team. Please!!!
Posted by: We Have Draft Picks | December 16, 2012 at 02:01 PM
I'm not sold Tannehill can't develop into a competent starter, but I still draft anothe QB this upcoming draft to cover bases and push him for playing time.
Posted by: Darkoak | December 16, 2012 at 02:01 PM
It's like these two teams are competing to see which screws up more.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | December 16, 2012 at 02:01 PM
Dashi, going back on what I said. NO WAY to T'eo, and neither to the positions I mentioned. We need to draft a QB in EVERY DRAFT 1st round until we find our franchise QB. This is ridiculous. EVERY YEAR PEOPLE!!!
Posted by: DC Dolfan | December 16, 2012 at 02:01 PM
The Dolphins may be a poor team but their practice squad is the best in the NFL!!
Posted by: Ireland's Republican Army | December 16, 2012 at 02:02 PM
Craig, he's officially on my BUST BUBBLE!
Posted by: DC Dolfan | December 16, 2012 at 02:02 PM
Our QB sucks. Their QB stinks. Both drafted by the same GM. But somehow Ireland still is our GM.
Posted by: jtlawson5 | December 16, 2012 at 02:02 PM
WORST DOLPHINS TEAM EVER!!! At least the 07 Fins had injuries to blame.
Posted by: Earl | December 16, 2012 at 02:02 PM
Which doesn't bode well for Mike Sherman OR Jeff Ireland by the way.
Posted by: DC Dolfan | December 16, 2012 at 02:03 PM
Come on DC....you can't pull that stuff. Last week he was your guy....through thick and thin. 'Learning from this stuff'. Now we're drafting a QB? Come on!...
Posted by: Craig M | December 16, 2012 at 02:03 PM
So penalties and turn overs begin again. Hard to win even against bad teams when we do that.
Posted by: Darkoak | December 16, 2012 at 02:03 PM
Charles Clay has a knee injury. Questionable to return.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | December 16, 2012 at 02:03 PM
The key to making any fins player better is to put them in another teams uniform.
Posted by: Razo | December 16, 2012 at 02:03 PM
EPIC !!!!!!!!!!!!! A STOP ON 4TH DOWN !!! LOL
Posted by: Ignignokt | December 16, 2012 at 02:03 PM
Armando, you said: "TWe the Dolphins are the he Jaguars are simpley a joke"..we the Dolphins are the laugh of the Joke
Posted by: Tony in Miami | December 16, 2012 at 02:03 PM
Don't blame it on Jeff Ireland. All he can do it pick the players, he can't play for them.
Posted by: Ireland's Republican Army | December 16, 2012 at 02:03 PM
Be nice to see Philbin getting in somebody's grill rather than standing there clapping with a dumb look on his face.
Posted by: cocoajoe | December 16, 2012 at 02:03 PM
Armando,
I nominate the ENTIRE game as the worst play of the season.
Posted by: nyfinfan | December 16, 2012 at 02:03 PM
This is just a bad team. If any one thinks this will turn around with the same owner, same GM, and any of the same players(except for a few) you are fooling yourself.
Posted by: Are you kidding me | December 16, 2012 at 02:04 PM
The refs LOVE us today!!! We are VERY lucky.
Let's go Tanne!!!
Posted by: We Have Draft Picks | December 16, 2012 at 02:04 PM
Charles Clay was playing in the game? Who knew?
Posted by: Earl | December 16, 2012 at 02:04 PM
Good thing we didn't dress Egnew for this game. ANOTHER great call by Philbin....these are REALLY adding up.
Posted by: Craig M | December 16, 2012 at 02:05 PM
Philbin seems like the kind of guy that whacks off while wearing a condom.
Posted by: TRJ | December 16, 2012 at 02:05 PM
Going for it on 4th and 1...Jax has no respect for our offense.
Posted by: Hopeful 'Phins Fan | December 16, 2012 at 02:05 PM
I really liked Kirk Cousins coming out of college. It looks like the Redskins picked two better QBs than we did in last year's draft. I am starting to feel what the old Saint fans used to feel.

That was Ron Wolf's philosphy BTW and one I agree with
Posted by: cocoajoe | December 16, 2012 at 02:06 PM
Jags "worst defense in the league" playing in our back field all day
Posted by: Earl | December 16, 2012 at 02:06 PM
As I wrote earlier this week, the Dolphins playing DOWN to their opponent. They have 36 yards of offense.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | December 16, 2012 at 02:06 PM
what kinds of play calls are these on offense?--the 3 yd pass over the middle, that Tannehill throws 140mph?
Posted by: benz | December 16, 2012 at 02:06 PM
Dashi,
There's your 'Mr. Nothing' with a couple of big stops. Still want to tell us the LBs suck or did you joke on your pop?
Posted by: Craig M | December 16, 2012 at 02:06 PM
From Wikipedia:
At Baylor, Jeff Ireland was known for making difficult kicks but missing the easy ones. Against Rice University in 1991, for example, he made a 58-yard field goal, then missed field goals of 43, 45, and 27 yards. Baylor, a 20.5 point favorite, lost the game by three points. Baylor was ranked 8th in the Associated Press poll at that time, and has never been ranked that high since.

Craig,
That must be the problem. I'm sure Egnew is the play making TE we need.
Posted by: We Have Draft Picks | December 16, 2012 at 02:06 PM
I hope we lose. The only way Ireland is fired
Posted by: Clue | December 16, 2012 at 02:06 PM
Can we ever pass the ball more than 8 yards?
There we go...Thigpen for 15!!
Keep passing the ball up the field!!
Posted by: jpao | December 16, 2012 at 02:07 PM
If T-Hill throws for 400 ill drop the bust tag. Maybe
Posted by: Sandoval | December 16, 2012 at 02:07 PM
Ireland was a kicker??? No wonder he knows nothing about football...

Posted by: cocoajoe | December 16, 2012 at 02:08 PM
Who knew that Thigpen is our Number 3 WR???
