Dave Wannstedt's defense is playing like, well, a Dave Wannstedt defense late in the season.
The Dolphins have three TDs from Reggie Bush.
Young WRs Armon Binns and Rishard Matthews are showing flashes.
And the defense has swamped the Bills with multiple fumble recoveries in the third quarter alone.
It's a route.
And it continues for one more quarter as does this live blog. Go to the comments section now.

Get the young guys into the game and get real experience.
Nice play Hartline on that punt?????

10-10 in the Steelers game, btw....
Posted by: Craig M | December 23, 2012 at 03:28 PM
Bush won't come out for that fumble...they're trying to get him to 1,000 for the season at home. Good for Bush, good for the fans! GO BUSH!
Posted by: I Hope | December 23, 2012 at 03:28 PM
Should have went for the FG ... see what kind of leg this guy has in game situations.
Posted by: zaphod | December 23, 2012 at 03:28 PM
I would like to see next year Matthews & Binns playing together with another vertical threat receiver
Posted by: Tony in Miami | December 23, 2012 at 03:28 PM
Would have liked to see that kicker try for that FG . See what's he's got .
Posted by: Ignignokt | December 23, 2012 at 03:28 PM
Did wake have a sack/fumble or just a sack? Who has forced fumbles for Miami?
Posted by: MiamiD20 | December 23, 2012 at 03:29 PM
Buffalo in wait it out for the yaer mode....
Posted by: superPHIN | December 23, 2012 at 03:30 PM
BTW Armando , it's "rout" .
Posted by: Ignignokt | December 23, 2012 at 03:30 PM
Is it just me or are the Dolphins cheerleaders not as hot this year? Maybe it's because I'm not drinking ...
Posted by: zaphod | December 23, 2012 at 03:30 PM
"Young WRs Armon Binns and Rishard Matthews are showing flashes."
Mando,
No doubt. Would have been nice if guys emerged earlier in the season. Definitely would have helped Tannehill.
Posted by: We Have Draft Picks | December 23, 2012 at 03:30 PM
Mando, I don't think 4m is a fair offer to Reggie. He signed for 5m a year when he got here and showed he's worth that. I think 5-6 is probably a fair offer. 3 years, 17m or thereabouts???

MD20,
Smith stripped the ball & Jones recovered it.
Posted by: We Have Draft Picks | December 23, 2012 at 03:31 PM
jpao that wasn't hartline it was no92
i like the fact they tried that play, sp teams is also about catching your opponentoffguard or trying different things in games like this. Just to see if we can pull them off when needed
Posted by: reg | December 23, 2012 at 03:31 PM
Sean Smith had a big forced fumble in this game. Helped set the tone early. Give it up for the whipping boy.
Posted by: Mark in Toronto | December 23, 2012 at 03:31 PM
Nice pass.
Posted by: zaphod | December 23, 2012 at 03:32 PM
Thank you, with family unable to watch the game but pleased with results except Tannehill's completion % and yards
Posted by: MiamiD20 | December 23, 2012 at 03:33 PM
Is that Miami's first penalty?
Posted by: zaphod | December 23, 2012 at 03:35 PM
Smith stripped it after a 10 yard first down completion. He also blew one on one coverage that should have been a TD by Johnson fumbled it in the end zone.
Suddenly thereafter Smith's knee hurts.
SOFT!
This McGann is now giving up plays....must be practicing too much with Smith.

Im out, this game's a wrap fellas!
Posted by: Yesterday's Gone 4Ever! | December 23, 2012 at 03:35 PM
Another pass to the guy Clemons is covering. Surprise!
Posted by: jpao | December 23, 2012 at 03:36 PM
Patterson is a keeper. The Browns are retards.
Posted by: We Have Draft Picks | December 23, 2012 at 03:36 PM
Pittsburgh needs to start winning their game right about now.
Posted by: zaphod | December 23, 2012 at 03:38 PM
Secondary gets exposed....Again!!!
Posted by: jpao | December 23, 2012 at 03:38 PM
That prayer pass over McCann killed momentum on third down.
Posted by: nyfinfan | December 23, 2012 at 03:39 PM
"Secondary gets exposed....Again!!!"
Jpao,
That's why we started Patterson today who was signed this week. McCann, Stanford, & Carroll need to go.
Posted by: We Have Draft Picks | December 23, 2012 at 03:41 PM
Jets losing ... New England struggling with Jacksonville ... all we need now is a miracle in Cincinnati.
Posted by: zaphod | December 23, 2012 at 03:42 PM
I'd like to see Thigpen used more in the offense next year. The kid is a heck of athlete.
Posted by: We Have Draft Picks | December 23, 2012 at 03:43 PM
Cowboys losing to the Saints??? Love it!!!
Posted by: We Have Draft Picks | December 23, 2012 at 03:44 PM
Up 24-10 only way to lose is to throw INTs or fumble.
So instead of running the ball, Tannehill is going to throw out of shotgun?
Posted by: Armando Salguero | December 23, 2012 at 03:44 PM
We need defensive secondary along with WR, WR, TE, a Siller like RB
Posted by: David | December 23, 2012 at 03:44 PM
Just run the f#cking ball jerk offs!!!
Posted by: We Have Draft Picks | December 23, 2012 at 03:44 PM
Run Lamar run
Posted by: David | December 23, 2012 at 03:45 PM
Who knew that running the ball MIGHT be working today????
Posted by: We Have Draft Picks | December 23, 2012 at 03:45 PM

Mando,
Exactly.
Posted by: We Have Draft Picks | December 23, 2012 at 03:47 PM
They've been running out of the shotgun effectively all day mando.
Posted by: Mark in Toronto | December 23, 2012 at 03:47 PM
Screen pass to Bush or Miller would be a nice safe play call along with Run, Run, Run.
With our secondary there is still plenty of time to make this a nail biter.
Posted by: jpao | December 23, 2012 at 03:47 PM
guys i still want T-Hill to throw a few times esp to some of the young guys (if they're open) cuz i think that will help us evaluate them
Posted by: reg | December 23, 2012 at 03:48 PM

Mark,
You run the ball here so the clock keeps running. They haven't been able to stop the run all day so there's no reason to do anything else.
Posted by: We Have Draft Picks | December 23, 2012 at 03:48 PM
How did we lose to this team this year????
Posted by: We Have Draft Picks | December 23, 2012 at 03:50 PM
Our OL is the best!
Posted by: Scotty | December 23, 2012 at 03:51 PM
WRs take 2-3 years to develop. And we know what Ireland think is a speedy receiver that could help this team (Gates). Do you really trust he'll make the right decision this time? FA is the answer. Get someone that is proven already. Then is on Philbin.
Posted by: jtlawson5 | December 23, 2012 at 03:52 PM
Mando-what one of kind player did we take instead of Spiller?
Posted by: David | December 23, 2012 at 03:53 PM

Jtlawson,
Agreed. If it's not Wallace then sign Greg Jennings.

Never a dull moment
Posted by: nyfinfan | December 23, 2012 at 03:54 PM
odrick?? and spiller was picked before our pick
Posted by: reg | December 23, 2012 at 03:55 PM
David, not sure what you mean, but Spiller was drafted before anyone on the Dolphins was, no? Bills had a higher pick.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | December 23, 2012 at 03:56 PM
Come on Odrick-defense
Posted by: David | December 23, 2012 at 03:57 PM
It's pretty scary how much better Patterson looks than any of the clowns we had playing after Marshall got hurt.
Posted by: We Have Draft Picks | December 23, 2012 at 04:00 PM
Armando,
Are the Texans a paper tiger?
Posted by: nyfinfan | December 23, 2012 at 04:00 PM
NY, until somebody beats them, I think the Pats are the best team in the AFC.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | December 23, 2012 at 04:01 PM
They didn't pass once out of the shotgun, WHDP. Their whole run game were draws and screens today. They just continued what they were doing all day. Nothing wrong with the approach or formation.
Posted by: Mark in Toronto | December 23, 2012 at 04:02 PM
don't like to see players getting injured, so i hope the cast is a precaution rather than a broken bone.

Mark,
I'm not a fan of throwing the football when you have 14 points lead & your running game has been as good as it's been all year.
Posted by: We Have Draft Picks | December 23, 2012 at 04:04 PM
C'mon Steelers.
Posted by: jpao | December 23, 2012 at 04:05 PM
Steelers not helping.
Posted by: zaphod | December 23, 2012 at 04:05 PM
Suisham is 1-3 on FGs today, including a miss from 24 yards. Any chance this guy is a Jets fan or Carpenter's half-brother?
Posted by: Craig M | December 23, 2012 at 04:07 PM
Bengals 4th and 1
Posted by: zaphod | December 23, 2012 at 04:08 PM
Agreed, WHDP. And they didn't pass. They've played this four minute offense and defense quite well. Not giving up any cheap chunk plays.
