Live blog: Dolphins at Patriots

The season-finale ... can you believe it?

The Colts beat the Houston Texans today so if the Patriots win, they can secure a first-round bye. That means they are unlikely to rest their starters. With the Bills beating the Jets, the Dolphins will finish second in the AFC East.

The inactives for the Dolphins against the Patriots today are Pat Devlin, Davone Bess, Nolan Carroll, Josh Kaddu, Patrick Brown, Kyle Miller and Kheeston Randall.

Koa Misi is back in his starting job. The starting corners are Dimitri Patterson and Sean Smith.

The Patriots are activating TE Rob Gronkowski today and planning to play him some. Their inactives are Markus Zusevics, Alfronzo Dennard, Nate Ebner, Jake Bequette, Nick McDonald, Kamar Aiken, and Marquice Cole.

We have a live blog brewing today. It begins in the comments section below. See you there soon.

I have a feeling Brady's setting us up with all of the passes to Hernandez. If the corners fall asleep there will be a big td pass to Loyd.

And of course no flag on illegal contact.

Odds on another 3 and out?

Odds we run, pass, pass, punt?

Oh yeah ... We can see where this is going

so there's no flag for fair catch interference? thigpen got hit

Dolphins player should've sold the interference by falling

Wilson, like Smith rely on luck to defend. A CB needs to turn once ball is in the air

Always defer. If your ahead at the half you can protect or improve your lead. If your behind, you get first opportunity to score. You win in the second half, not the first.

Definition of a troll:

Anyone that doesn't agree with Krissy. LOL.

Well blow me over with Dodo feather ... we passed first!

Coach, You Predicted That?

3 and out better than pick six or turnover at this point.....

If Joe Philbin is playing the wind and not Tom Brady and his record breaking offense, then he's playing the wrong thing.

Hard to argue against that angle Armando.....but to this point its 0-0....with a NE Missed FG to side that Philbin gave them...

SO,,,,So far...Philbin and WIND-1...

Evil Genius Belicheat and Brady-0....

If jerod mayo takes tanny's helmet off after whistle and punches him the face, it would be a holding on tanny with these stupid refs

Terrible throw into double coverage by Tannehill. Haven't seen him do that a lot this year.

Awful pass

Phil Simms: SHUT THE HELL UP! We know you have a man crush on the Patriouts!!!

Hartline wide open open that play

Hartline wide open

Intercepted. Our line is giving up a lot of pressure today.

he has Hartline open for 3rd. down

Terrible throw by Tanne.....

Terrible decision....

double coverage....

Tannehill had not thrown a INT in 136 previous passes.

Watching that 3rd down play you can see the difference between Ryan Tannehill and Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck throws 70 yd TD pases on 3rd and 23 against top 10 defenses. Ryan Tannehill looks around and gets intercepted. Andrew Luck is good at football and Ryan Tannehill is bad at football. All we had to do was suck for Luck for 1 season and we screwed that up. Now Indianapolis has Andrew Luck and eyes on the Super Bowl every season for the next 15 years. And we have...Ryan Tannehill and 7-9 seasons. Oh well. Life as a Dolphin fan.

Here we go

.with a NE Missed FG to side that Philbin gave them...

Just what game is this zero IQ blogger watching? He can't even remember accurately what happened 3 minutes ago.

It's going to be a long day for the defense.

Intercepted. Our line is giving up a lot of pressure today.

Spot on....OL is struggling early on....

Where was the Safety in the middle...?????

Can You Guys Please Explain Why Dansby Is Worth $10-12 Million a Year!!

That Drive Was Just Throw Where Dansby Should Be!!

Thus the difference between Welker and Hartline.

No pressure from our defensive line.

Should be playing for 11 and five goddamnit

Someone explain to Kris that NE did not miss a field goal. Explain it slowly.

We play so well from behind-well our innovative play calling and one of a kind receiving corps will win the day!

When your wr's cant get separation, I believe sooner or later yout qb will start pressing. It has to really be difficult to play the qb position with Miami's wr's.

losing the battle in the trenches on both sides right now. not good

This game is important for tannehill. I would like to see him be able to do good against the pats.. Since they are going to be the team to beat for the next few years

Now this is a SERIOUS question: how can we play in the same division as the Patriots for more than 10 years, watch how they school us year after year on offense AND defense, and NOT LEARN A FREAKING THING? How can we NOT build a team or a scheme of some sort to compete? Are our coaches really THIS incompetent?

IMAWriter- I agree that Welker is a better receiver than Harine but let's face it the big difference is Brady.

Are they gonna lay down all game? Pats are treating them like beatches and Miami is letting them. Again

Eariler Kris said the Colts beat the Titans today. It's there, go look.

My point is this dufus is clueless beyond belief.

You are fixated on Dansby

Need pressure on Brady

turnovers kill..welker just plain murders this team.....And ppl think that if hartline walks, that could happen again..*lmao*

Oscar, I Mean Ray!!

When Are You Going To Say Something Constructive Today!!

And Don't Comeback with Some Corny Comment!! When Are You Going To Say Something Constructive!!

Dashi is correct Dansby is clueless out there

TJ, I might point out in 13 seasons, Peyton played in only 2 Super Bowls. It takes a complete team playing hot.
I'm fine with Tanny, but look at the weapons Brady has.

This defense doesn't believe in bailing out the offense after a turnover. They never seem to hold in that scenario

Thigpen is the best player on the team

Guys no way we win this game. No way

Aré you blamin Hartline for being open? I don't get it

Another thing.

I didnt know there was a fins wr on the entire roster worthy of doubl;e coverage. LOL

And The Pats Get The Call!!

Nice return.....

but the infamous holding call..

its gonna be uphill....

Tannehill had not thrown a INT in 136 previous passes.

Mando, when you play the the likes of the jags and the bills...t-hill looks good, but put him with a defense that can play...sorry, aint gonna happen!!!

Dansby was lost on the TD pass and at least a couple other plays on that drive.

The tone has been set for this game. We can see where the calls are going. We KNEW our team wasn't going to compete ... but we sure as hell aren't going to even make it respectable if the calls are pro-Patriot.
