FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The Patriots have something to play for and the Dolphins are playing for pride. Well, playing for something is kicking pride's behind.
The Patriots have two touchdown runs by Stevan Ridley, including one on fourth down, and Tom Brady has that TD pass to Wes Welker.
The Dolphins?
They've got a lot of work to do --in many different ways.
The live blog continues in the comments section.

Nice pass by Tanne....
Got to give credit were credit is due....

A QB with double vision means twice the receivers to throw to.

Kris, I just wish we could see that more than overthrows to recievers down the field...just sayin!!!
Posted by: superPHIN | December 30, 2012 at 06:25 PM
He hit on Matthews? According to who? He has zero touchdowns, how is that a hit? The Ireland curve? He is so bad at finding playmakers, we pretend people are hits?
Ty Hilton is a "hit". Matthews is just not quite as big a bust as Clyde Gates. He is not a hit.
Posted by: Andrew | December 30, 2012 at 06:25 PM
That should have been a personal foul head hit when player is down. Wtf
Posted by: h8dpats | December 30, 2012 at 06:25 PM
The pressure on RT has all come from the R side.
Posted by: oscar canosa | December 30, 2012 at 06:22 PM
No possible way, all from the left side , according to Craig M.

Earl....
Really, dude? Let's see you take a hit to the noggin like that. Keyboard coward.
Posted by: navydolfaninva | December 30, 2012 at 06:25 PM
Andrew,
There are no WRs worth taking in this draft. This draft is weak on offensive playmakers thus the smart move is to take a pass rusher. However, there is no denying Warmack is dominant and our OL has been bad today without Long. We can add receivers and TE for the same value ont the second and third round and in FA.

NE's yiddishe owner is better than our yiddishe owner.

Posted by: David | December 30, 2012 at 06:26 PM
If T-Hill is taught properly and given th corret weapons to use he will be a pretty good QB. He has the throws, poise etc but needs experience, coaching and players around him.
Posted by: reg | December 30, 2012 at 06:27 PM
Was that Keith Byers?

Posted by: The Fins Suck | December 30, 2012 at 06:28 PM
Bush leads the league in fumbles. He is gone next year. Philbin is probably fuming right now.
Posted by: Orlando Dolphan | December 30, 2012 at 06:28 PM
We're officially the bad news bears
Posted by: heem502 | December 30, 2012 at 06:28 PM
Orlando, yeah because that plan to get a WR in the second and third round worked so well last year.
Posted by: h8dpats | December 30, 2012 at 06:28 PM
Amazing. This guy thinks that Ireland is a great GM that has made the wrong decisions cause he was listening to a bad HC. But now that he has a good HC "to bounce off ideas" he's gonna get the picks right.... Oh boy. The levels of stupidity. But then again, he writes in third person and caps the first letter of every word he writes. I should not be surprised.
Posted by: jtlawson5 | December 30, 2012 at 06:28 PM
That play sums it up
Posted by: Are you kidding me | December 30, 2012 at 06:28 PM
Superphin.....
Comedy of ERRORS....OMG.....
I agree...Tanne has to hit those bombs....he good @ those intermediate IN cuts tho....kinda like another QB who shall we shall not name....
Posted by: Kris | December 30, 2012 at 06:28 PM
Eifert is worth a first round pick. Miami has to stop dumping all their resources into the o line.
I agree though that Ireland's true failure was passing on WRs like Dez Bryant in previous drafts.
Classic dolphins, nice fumble Reggie. Getting shutout today will sum up this season nicely. We can't score so everything else is irrelevant.
Posted by: Andrew | December 30, 2012 at 06:29 PM
well i think bush has played himself out of a contract for next yr
Posted by: rattlersteve | December 30, 2012 at 06:29 PM

Tough tinsel-Reggie just lost a lot of money
Posted by: David | December 30, 2012 at 06:29 PM
Heem,
No, we're not the bad news bears. We just look like it today. Hell, watching today's game you'd think the 1-15 team was better.
Posted by: navydolfaninva | December 30, 2012 at 06:29 PM
And You wonder why They Bench Bush!!
Fumbles and Dancing!!
L.Miller Doesn't Fumble!! And He Doesn't Dance!!

Posted by: CadillacDeVille | December 30, 2012 at 06:29 PM
BUSH SUCKS. Extremely overrated
Posted by: Mike Acc | December 30, 2012 at 06:30 PM
They're already on vacation and so am I. Fix this horrible offense please, they are unwatchable and most players ought to be ashamed of themselves.
Posted by: Phil M | December 30, 2012 at 06:30 PM
If we're the Colts, we cover that fumble in endzone and people rave about brilliant play by Luck
Posted by: KS | December 30, 2012 at 06:30 PM
hope we dont give up a 99 yd touchdown last last year lol
Posted by: rattlersteve | December 30, 2012 at 06:30 PM
Burnett needs to drive the QB into the ground. It's in the game.
Posted by: Angry Elf | December 30, 2012 at 06:30 PM
Fasano is being evaluated for a concussion.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | December 30, 2012 at 06:30 PM
H8pats,
They did not take a WR and TE in the second round last year. This year Ireland will focus on bringing in some playmakers but he cannot reach for a receiver in the first round.
Posted by: Orlando Dolphan | December 30, 2012 at 06:30 PM
With all due respect Orlando, how do you know there are no WR's worth taking in the Draft. Surely there has to be afew who can help Tannehill progress?
Justin Hunter
Keenan Allen
Tavon Austin
Steadman Bailey
To name afew

Armando, first Unemployment of the year 2013.
Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie has already told coach Andy Reid he’s fired
Posted by: Tony in Miami | December 30, 2012 at 06:32 PM
Bush plays like he is...an all or nothing back...he gives you one play and then fumbles it the next...he is what he is folks....
Posted by: superPHIN | December 30, 2012 at 06:32 PM
