Cameron Wake is All NFL

The postseason awards are starting to filter in now and at least one Dolphins player is being recognized for a great season:

Cameron Wake.

Wake was today voted to the 2012 All NFL team by Pro Football Weekly and the Professional Football Writers of America. This is deserved as Wake had a career-high 15 sacks in 2012. I am assuming the big award, the All Pro awards by the Associated Press, will also recognize Wake in the coming weeks.

I am one of the 50 people that vote for All Pro and I voted for Wake. So we'll see. Meanwhile, the PFF/PFWA All NFL team and awards are below:

Do we really have to go through the newbies again?????

SuperPHIN,

I would say The 49ers have The Best O-Line In Football!

K'Nick is Good. But The Scheme And O-Line Helps!!

Plus, Harbaugh is a Great Play Caller!!

I Didn't See K'nick audible!! Once!!

I REALLY Like This Name!! We Going To Ride With It For A While!!

SORRY DUMB@SS

DOES THIS ANNOY YOU DUMB@SS??

I FORGOT WHEN IT COMES TO SPELLING CORRECTLY AND MAKING SENSE, PPL HAVE YOUR WHIMSICAL POSTS TO LOOK AT I GUESS!!

THANKS FOR THE REMINDER DUMB@SS!! *LMAO*

The Harbaughs were pretty impressive and I cant help thinking how Reggie Bush would improve the Packers a lot.

Instead they took an old QB that may have 1 or 2 years left in him. Where do the Broncos go from here?

Orlando Dolphan | January 12, 2013 at 09:19 PM

I was watching and noticed this conversation and you guys obviously don't follow the draft because Elway took Brock Osweiler out of Arz St. in the 2nd-RD To be the eventual heir apparent, the pick comes with strings given he had less College starts than Tannehill but benefits from learning from a legend.

Reggie and His Dancing would really help the Packers. Never mind the Packers have No Cap Room!! And Reggie Can't Even Gain 1000 Yards As The Feature Back!!

Remember Jennings and Finley will not be coming Back, Because they Are Going To Be Over The Cap.

And The Packers Have Bigger Problems!! They Have No O-Line!!

Osweiler = Brady Quinn's alter ego air apperant more likely

I'll put money on the fact that when Manning finally has enough sense to retire and quits risking his 5th neck surgery, denver drafts yet another QB in the first or 2nd round.

10 million is steep but theres no-one in the draft this year that would equate to wallace's talent level at anything but a risky gamble, one that I wouldnt have faith in irefiend would make early...

superPHIN | January 12, 2013 at 11:38 PM

AMEN!! And my exact argument for about a month now aside from a deep class on D in the draft were the value of the WR pos. is around late 1st on some with probably 2nd-RD being were the top 3 to 4 go if that many before RD-3.

I agree, reggie bush doesnt solve any pressing need for the packers next year especially if they lose jennings and finley...bush would just be filling another randell cobb role with less production....and no way does the pack overspend to pay reggie the $$$ he wants....

I cant help thinking how Reggie Bush would improve the Packers a lot.

Vazman | January 13, 2013 at 12:15 AM

Great observation and the dynamic the Pack lacks, if you noticed the way they've tried to use Randall Cobb this Yr. you'll see that Bush can play that multiple role while in the 1 back formation putting Cobb full time in the slot with Jones and Nelson outside. The BIG DRAWBACK is we all more or less understand we will go WR in FA but am wondering if Philbin won't go with his man Jennings whose obviously breaking down now instead of going with the younger more explosive Wallace whose my target 110% in FA!

Agreed on Osweiller.

The 2 Biggest Qb Bust, This Year!!

Weeden and Osweiller.

All The Others To Me Have BETTER POTENTIAL! And Look Like The Real Deal!

Luck
RG3
T'Sizzle
Wilson
Foles
Cousins

All Legit Qb's!!

People Forget The Packers Took a Qb, RIGHT BEFORE HENNE!

Brian Brohm!!

Before People Go Calling Henne A Bust!! They should remember B.Brohm!!

MORE POTENTIAL!!

If today's two games have one overarching message - - and they do - - it is a message so loud and clear that it must be heard as a cry for immediate action:

FIRE IRELAND!

Reggie and His Dancing would really help the Packers. Never mind the Packers have No Cap Room!! And Reggie Can't Even Gain 1000 Yards As The Feature Back!!

Oscar/Home/Aloco Is My Bottom B'tch | January 13, 2013 at 12:22 AM

The one thing you fail to realize is that the Pack would put Bush in the multiple set role we expected when we traded for him and believed when Philbin became H.C. He isn't your traditional RB and was replaced more than anything by Darren Sproles to be that guy in N.O. because of injuries and salary.

LOL,see the best at draft.BYE

I Trust Philbin To Make The Right Decision!! Like He Did With Flynn!!

As Ireland's Only Fan!

Even I Don't trust Ireland Choosing Wr's. But I Do Trust Philbin Will Make The Right Decision!

FIN4LIFE,

I 100% agree with you, people always want to look and say we should concentrate on drafting a POTENTIAL #1 reciever instead of signing one at a more expensive contract but taken into effect that irefiend will still be here and given his track record on drafting offensive talent(Gates, Wallace, Clay, Moore, Egnew)...it would be more beneficial to sign a WR that has proven #1 reciever talent in wallace then trusting a cheap and not nearly as good one in this years draft.....

At some point gambling BIG $$$ on proven playmakers has just as much potential to work out too ( Like Vincent Jackson in TB or Sidney Rice in SEA)

Trading Marshall to Chicago didnt exactly hurt them either as much of a pain in the ass as he was for us...just sayin

AHomo,

I have never wanted to see Ireland fired as much as I do right now.

I long for the days when the Fins were a regular part of the equation during the playoffs.

We must get that preeminence back. We cannot with The Water Boy.

Superphin.

Ireland Hasn't Drafted A Wr Higher Than The 3rd. So We Don't Know!! If Ireland Will Blow A High Pick!! It's Not Like The CB Position! Which he has actually Used High Picks! (And when You Look At It!! Those Guys Weren't Bust!!)

Now On FA WR's!!

The Only Time Ireland Spend Big $$$ On A Wr!! He Got Marshall!! Not Bad!!

People Forget!! Ireland brought Marshall In!!

Yes, It Has Only Been 1 Season!! Without Him!!

But Bash Ireland!! For 1 Season Without a #1 WR!!

Marino Never Had A True #1!! JJ NEVER GOT A #1 WR(remember Y.Green)!! Wannstedt best Wr was C.Chamber!!

Can We At Least Give Ireland!! Til After The Draft!! Before We Attack Him On The Wr!!

Agreed on Osweiller.

The 2 Biggest Qb Bust, This Year!!

Weeden and Osweiller.

All The Others To Me Have BETTER POTENTIAL! And Look Like The Real Deal!

Oscar/Home/Aloco Is My Bottom B'tch | January 13, 2013 at 12:38 AM

You just NEVER KNOW Aaron Rodgers was considered another Cal system QB like the one he replaced Kyle Boller remember him? The guy supposed O guru Billick pressed Newsome to trade back into the 1st-rd??

You yourself brought up Louisville QB Brian Brohm who over his career put up better #'s than Rothlisberger in that USA Conf. they played in before moving into the ACC in 2014.

Heck, Ozzie Newsome has repeatedly said he was 50/50 on whether he took Flacco over Henne at pick-18 in 08. I think if the talent and desire is there it helps to caddy for a legend or am I the only one who notices how many of Farve's tendencies Rodgers picked up with those under handed forward passes ect...

You Really Are Slow Ahomo!! Took You Long Enough!!

WHERE YOU FROM ALOCO?

THE TRUTH!!

YOU COWARD!!

Philbin wanted Matt Flynn to be his QB. Ross refused to foot the bill.

I'm Not Saying I Know, F4L.

But QB's Have Certain Qualities That Make Them Good.

Weeden is 30 Yrs Old!! Already In His Prime! And He Was A System Qb In College! With Great Wr's!

Osweiller is Actually Way To Tall To Be A Qb!! And Was A Average Qb In College!!

On Sitting Behind A Great Qb! Look At Henne!! Doesn't Matter who is Training You!!

You Are What You Are!!

Osweiller has a Funky Delivery!! And Is Not A Good Athlete!!

Too Tall and Stiff!!

Aloco was serving himself his Capt. Crunch in his Pajamas warming up in front of the basement stove dreaming of the next $3.00 tip at his Denny's gig in order to buy himself some pepperidge farm Cookies while delighting himself on the blog talking all things Boston.

Fool!!

wait!!! wasnt parcells still here when that marshall trade went down??, how do we even know that was irelends decision at all??? people tend to think when parcells was here, he made all of the decisions on FA and Draft day projects.

do we now pick and choose what miami has done right with irelands decisions and what parcells did wrong?

so ireland takes success with marshall trade but parcells takes failure with Pat White pick?

And it has produced what in irelands time in miami? 4 losing seasons!

F4L, Good One!!

I Doubt Ahomo gets that much in Tips Though.

Rumor On The Streets Is Ahomo Sucks C'CKS FOR COKE!!

DaShe is either on pesronality disorder drugs or needs to be on them.

Oscar/Home/Aloco Is My Bottom B'tch | January 13, 2013 at 01:11 AM

I believed Weeden benefited from the WR's he had at Okla St. and have actually never seen Osweiler play. I'm simply saying that at QB you never really know given Peyton or Luck come around once every 15 to 20 Years and by the way who did Henne sit behind?? By the way alot of what you just said about Osweiler were the exact comments regarding Phillip Rivers the difference being Rivers was a 3 Yr. College starter in the ACC.

Ahomo is acting LIKE A COWARD AGAIN!!

Hey, COWARD!!

ANSWER MY F'ING QUESTION!!

STOP POSTING GARBAGE UNDER DIFFERENT NAMES!!

Don't Tell Me Your Taking ANOTHER Pole Smoking Break!! To Feed Your Habit!!

Peyton won't see another year like this. He played fantastic all year but by the end of the season his arm got tired. He was a shell of himself today. He reminded me of Marinos last couple of years.

Peyton, take the high road. Retire. You can't beat Father Time. Your best is now behind you.

Kudos to K'nick in SF. He has been playing like the real deal since his first start. Very impressive. He made Rodgers look like the neophyte.

Waaahh!! Waahh!! Waaahhh!!

Ok, now THAT is HILARIOUS!!!!!

AMAZING | January 13, 2013 at 01:14 AM

It was widely reported that they saw each other (Ireland and B.M.) at some function during the 08 Off-Season and Marshall (who apparently can be very affable) charmed the pants off Ireland who went to bat for him and I for one have NEVER had a problem with his decision on what was one of the top-5 talents at his pos.

The problem lies in us not having a Coaching staff with the internal fortitude to deal with him. Shula would have NEVER traded Coke head Duper in his Prime and dealt with Mercury Morris and his issues during their title runs. JJ once famously said when asked about his cast of characters that he would draft the devil himself if he thought he could play. So there goes my 2 cents on the decision to deal Marshall.

It was said he went to Philbin and said he wasn't a W.C. WR and wanted out and I wasn't there but if true I would have told Marshall to fall in line and shut the F up given the money we were paying period end of story and non of us truly know what he might have done for Tannehill's confidence and development as opposed to the group of scrubs we set him up with.

F4L,

P.Rivers Has A Quick Delivery! Like Marino! And T-Hill!

Yes, T'hill has the same Delivery. (Before I Get Hated On!)

Osweiller Has a Tim Tebow Delivery!

That Is What I Mean By Funky.

They Throw Like Pitchers!! They Wind Up To Throw!!

T'hill, like Rivers, Has a Compact Delivery!

It Almost Looks Like They Are Short Arming The Ball!! They Bring The Ball Up To Their Ear, and Just Move Forward! Like A Infielder!! They Need To Have The Ball Out In A Hurry!!

Qb's That Throw Like Pitchers Have a Hard Time In The NFL! Look at Leftwich!!

It Takes Them Like 2 Seconds To Go Thru The Windup!!

Enough Time To Get Sacked!!

Plus At 6'8" Everyone Is Going To See Where OW is Looking!! He Better Not Stare down Wr's!!

ALoco | January 13, 2013 at 01:27 AM

It seems we do this you and me every Yr. at least once and it's always with you taking shots at people then playing coy and it gets tiresome with your juvenile remarks which have a double meaning only somebody forced fed your B.S. for prolonged periods of time can get.

Tell me when has Marshall helped his team make the playoffs? Never. He racks up the stats but he becomes a sour puss if he isn't always the go to guy, and that is why, even with Cutlets, he still doesn't have a playoff game.

Fair enough given I won't argue the merits of a QB I haven't even seen play a a game but you must admit as good as Kaep was today he throws like a pitcher on a mound the only thing missinf from those striaght line lasers are a leg whip. My point is the game is changing and teams looking to get over the hump are adapting to different styles but given you've obviously seen this kid I won't dispute you. I believe the last time I saw Arz. St Sun Devils in a game was Vs. Miami in around 93 or 94 up at Sun Devil stadium or the former Fiesta Bowl Stadium. I rememeber because it was the last time Rusty Mederis tried to play after his knee injury killed what would have been a great NFL career and back then last Yrs. Sun Devils were Babies.

Loser's run.

Anyone seen my cousin?

F4L,

Agreed. K'nick has a Long Wind Up. But the Scheme and His Athleticism Helps!

My Thing With OW, Is That I've Seen Him A Couple Times. Once, Against N.Foles!

And Foles looked Head and Shoulders Like The Better QB!!

Maybe That Is What I'm Really Looking At! But Agreed! If Somebody can Maximize His Potential!! It Should Be Peyton and Elway!!

OW, Just Doesn't Look Like He Wants It!!

If you are going to Correct Your Incompetence!! Do It Right!!

Forgot, BLOGGERS!!

And MOVIMIENTO!!

Comé MIE-RDA!!

It Looks Like The Only Jackas-s IN HERE IS YOU!!

*Correction

Watching yesterday's games only makes me hope that we have our QB even more. If Tannehill can develope into a mold of Flacco and Kaepernick I would be more than satisfied. He has the smarts to be Flacco and the mobility to be Kaepernick (though, obviously, not as fast as him). Only thing he needs is accuracy; unfortunately that's a big component to being a successful QB. Decision making, leadership, and ability to deceipher a defense will all be fine. If he's able to hit a WR in stride like Flacco was doing down the sideline to Torrey Smith I would be ecstatic and we will have found our QB.

If he doesn't improve next year, and develop by year 3, we will be back to square one. The acceleration process of a QB now, along with the potential of all the young QBs, puts Tannehill in a tough spot where he must succeed or succum to being nothing more than an afterthought in the NFL and another hated ex in dolphan's eyes. We will forever hate the likes if Culpepper, Henne, Green, etc. for years to come until we finally find that QB

Odin aka Douchi was here last night, aay?

We need a new QB. After watching the playoff games its clear how superior these QB's are. The thing also is that Tannehill made little if any progress. He got shut out in the season finale and played terribly. Tannehill isnt Kaepernick or Flacco. He's Chad Henne. BTW, that was Kaepernicks's 6th game? He is something to be excited about. Tannehill looks like another journeyman QB.

Tannehill does not even look remotely as physical, fast or accurate as Kaepernick. And we chose Tamme?(spelled correctly)
