The postseason awards are starting to filter in now and at least one Dolphins player is being recognized for a great season:
Cameron Wake.
Wake was today voted to the 2012 All NFL team by Pro Football Weekly and the Professional Football Writers of America. This is deserved as Wake had a career-high 15 sacks in 2012. I am assuming the big award, the All Pro awards by the Associated Press, will also recognize Wake in the coming weeks.
I am one of the 50 people that vote for All Pro and I voted for Wake. So we'll see. Meanwhile, the PFF/PFWA All NFL team and awards are below:

Denver
Pats
Seahawks
9ers.....
Although......I woudn't be mad if ATL won.....I need Matty ice to win a playoff game....so I can stick it to Craig M......

Correction.....
Pack over 9ers....
And that should start the demise of the Harbaugh era in San fan.....
It will still take a few years to come to fruition....but the 1st brick falls tommrow.....

Fans like Mark In Toronto are why there's been such a "Dark Cloud" hanging over this franchise for so very long.
If you were the football gods, would you award a franchise with fans like Mark In Toronto a nfl championship? Case closed.

This post season will NOT close the door on the Ryan/Long debate, because Ryan will not be in the SB. He may finally win his first game and 'catch up' to Long, but he won't win two.
The team surrounding Ryan is FAR superior to what the fins have had the last few years. Had Ryan been a fin, these very same fans saying we blew the pick would be hollering Ryan is a bust and none of the pundits had him worth a #1 over all.
Posted by: Food for thought | January 11, 2013 at 06:49 PM
How many people do the Fins have for evaluating the draft prospects?
5,10 or more?
They need to double whatever that number is.
Posted by: NPA | January 11, 2013 at 07:16 PM
Food for thought....
How will Ryan "catch up" to Long.....
Has Long won a playoff game me or any other FIN FAN has never heard of....
I could go on....but I think you need to start you're research there.....before we can have a rational and mature debate....
Posted by: Kris | January 11, 2013 at 07:35 PM
Long didn't win no playoff game. Neither did Ryan.
I agree no question Ryan has been surrounded by a far better offense than he would have had here.
No way he could have done as well on this team.
He has two aplha recievers, and an all world TE and a great running game. If he doesn't come through now...he never will.
Posted by: Ranger | January 11, 2013 at 08:29 PM
Atl should win this weekend. Seattle is good, but not good enough to win two cross country games in a row, especially with the time zones going against them.
If Seattle wins, it would mean Ryan is a pretender.
Posted by: Ranger | January 11, 2013 at 08:32 PM
Wow.....looks like I missed to fireworks today. Wow!!
Kris, why are you sticking it to me if Atlanta wins again? I've actually changed how I feel about the game. I believe now that Atlanta will win....I'm just not sure how.
I've got the Pats, Broncos, Packers and Falcons this weekend. If you guys were smart, you would bet the other way.
Posted by: Craig M | January 11, 2013 at 08:46 PM
Kris never fails to display his hostility and bitterness. He is not a happy camper.
Could it be his work? The wife? Both?
Posted by: Dr. Eloy Quixote | January 11, 2013 at 09:05 PM
Jake Long didnt make a difference...
Posted by: Gregg in Hollywood | January 11, 2013 at 09:09 PM
Matt Ryan would've had us in the playoffs every year. And we could've used those draft choices we wasted on Chad Henne, Pat White, and Ryan Tannehill, too.
Posted by: Gregg in Hollywood | January 11, 2013 at 09:12 PM
Matt Ryan has done less with more. If he didn't get ATL in the playoffs last year with all that offensive fire power, how does he get our lame offense into the playoffs?
Posted by: Ranger | January 11, 2013 at 09:14 PM
Picking Long over Ryan set this franchise back 10 years. Dont know if we'll even have a Matt Ryan in 10 years. As bad a decision as Culpepper over Brees.
Posted by: Monte | January 11, 2013 at 09:17 PM
Matt Ryan is going to the HOF.
Posted by: Gregg in Hollywood | January 11, 2013 at 09:23 PM
Where exactly would you rate Ryan as a QB? I don't even think he is in the top ten.
Peyton
Brady
Rodgers
Eli
Ben
Rivers
Luck
RG3
Cutler
Shaub
Stafford
Newton
Kaeprnik
Brees
Really, Ryan is very average.
Posted by: Ranger | January 11, 2013 at 09:24 PM
Gregg,
Ok, we both know you don't believe a word of what you are saying. But have fun trying.
Posted by: Ranger | January 11, 2013 at 09:25 PM
Tannehill only needs to show minimal improvement to be a superior offensive weapon than Matty Cold
Posted by: Ranger | January 11, 2013 at 09:26 PM
Gregg, probably if he stays healthy.
Posted by: Monte | January 11, 2013 at 09:26 PM
Ryan is 3rd behind Brady and P Manning.
Posted by: Monte | January 11, 2013 at 09:30 PM
Monte has a shrtless Matty poster on the ceiling above his bed. So does Gregg (Monte)
Posted by: Ranger | January 11, 2013 at 09:32 PM
Yes, I am a big fan of Matty "Ice". I think he could be one of the best ever.
Posted by: Monte | January 11, 2013 at 09:39 PM
Yes, I can see Matty winning 8 superbowls, only if he wins 7 first.
Posted by: Ranger | January 11, 2013 at 09:43 PM
Atlanta sold the farm for Julio.
0 Superbowls.
Washington sold the farm for RG3.
0 Superbowls.
Moral of the story?
Posted by: Ranger | January 11, 2013 at 09:47 PM
Jake Has More ProBowls! And More All-Pro's Than Matt Ryan!! Yes, It's About Winning! Ryan Hasn't Won Anything! If That Is The Case Flacco is a Better QB than Matt!!
Matt Ryan is A Average QB With A Great Team!! When You Look At That Draft Class!!
The Top 5
J.Long
C.Long
M.Ryan
D.Mcfadden
G.Dorsey
JETS' Took V.Gholston at #6!! Talk About BUST!!
Look At The Top 3 QB's!!
Ryan
Flacco
Henne
The Fins Did MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION!!!
Matt Ryan Isn't Even The 2nd Best QB In His DIVISION!! CAM IS!!
M.Ryan Has Only Been To The ProBowl 2x!!! AND THAT IS WITH 2 B.Marshall's And A HOF TE!! To THROW AT!!
MATT RYAN IS NOT THAT GOOD!!
MATT RYAN IS WAY OVERPAID!! FOR SUCH LITTLE PRODUCTION!!
Jake Can Still Become a HOFer!! MATT RYAN WILL NEVER BE ONE!! NEVER HAD A SHOT!!
Posted by: Dashi | January 11, 2013 at 09:48 PM
Irescum sold the farm for D Thomas
0 Superbowls
Posted by: Bud | January 11, 2013 at 09:52 PM
Matt Ryan is a solid AVERAGE qb. Matt Ryan has no more upside.
Ryan T > M Ryan
Posted by: Ranger | January 11, 2013 at 09:54 PM
Even considering allowing Jake Long to walk proves drafting him was a huge mistake....
Posted by: Tony Nathan | January 11, 2013 at 09:56 PM
ranger lol
Posted by: 2 watt | January 11, 2013 at 09:57 PM
Dashi.....
Matt Ryan will play for 15 years for the Falcons....and WILL win a SB.....
Jake Long will most likely be on another team next year....
I don't have to make a case for who should have been drafted....the GM's of both teams will make it for me with the money they are willing to pay.....
Posted by: Kris | January 11, 2013 at 10:06 PM
Do you guys even remember what winning feels like.....or are we so beaten down by losing seasons that we have forgotten what winning feels like.....
13-3 = winning
6-10 = losing
Playoffs = winning
No playoffs = losing
#1seed = winning
Again...home EVERY JANUARY = losing
Posted by: Kris | January 11, 2013 at 10:19 PM
Kris,
I'm Not Making A Case!! ABOUT QB OVER LT!!
NO ARGUMENT THERE!! QB EVERYTIME!
MY POINT IS PEOPLE CAN NOT SAY MATT RYAN IS A BETTER QB!! THAN JAKE IS A LT!!! NEVER!!
If M.Ryan Was With The Fins! He Would have a Bad Arm! Or A Bad Knee!! Sporano would've Got Him Injured!! And Then Kept Playing Him!! Till He Tears Something!!
Plus. Usually A Coach Change Means A QB Change!!
So M.Ryan Would've Been Walking!! ALSO!!
And Jake Not Coming Back This Time!! Is All Speculation!!
PHILBIN PROTECTS HIS PLAYERS!! (He Shut Jake Down Quick!)
Main Reason!! Dashi FEELS Dansby Is Lying!! Philbin Would've Rested Him!! INSTEAD OF RISKING FURTHER INJURY!!
Like He Did With Dansby And His ANKLE EARLY ON!!
DANSBY IS A LIAR!! AND A HYPOCRITE!!
Posted by: Dashi | January 11, 2013 at 10:23 PM
Good points about coaching Change/QB change.....
It's rare that a QB survives that....
Posted by: Kris | January 11, 2013 at 10:31 PM
What's up losers?
Posted by: CadillacDeVille | January 11, 2013 at 10:32 PM
Haven't been in for several days has anything changed since the end of the season?
By anything I mean anything for the Phins?
Posted by: CadillacDeVille | January 11, 2013 at 10:34 PM
I finally figured out why Parcells would never take a QB with the number 1 pick:
Because if he has a little success, and the fans buy into him, then you are stuck with him for 15-20 years if he is healthy like Marino, Ryan, Rivers, Stafford, Bradford, Manning, Brees, Rogers etc.
True Peyton has won a SB, 1 SB in 15 years. Same for Brees but what about the other years?

Do this team really have a franchise QB?
wake he is a beast
Ross is a fool. And you guys think Philbin has proven himself to be a really good head coach in one season and he is already better than Fisher? What a bunch of morons! Let's judge T-hill and Philbin at the end of next year season, but I forgot JI is still picking the players. Next season. So that won't be fair either because knowing JI
He might just get one player right. He wasn't even a good scout in KC! Ross doesn't like to spend money. Doesn't have any. He spend all his money buying all those empty seats. Hahahahaha. You fools.

QBs and players in gerneral typically take a step back in thier 2nd year: The Sophomore Slump
But so what if Tanne takes a step back?
Tanne acts like a man and that is the most important thing.
And Philbin would make a great GM, he'd probably be a better GM than coach.
