Incognito on his way to Pro Bowl

The concern about the well-being of the Dolphins offensive line has been an on-going thing but at least the Dolphins got some measure of positive news on that front late Sunday when The Herald learned guard Richie Incognito has been added to the Pro Bowl roster.

Incognito will be replacing Baltimore guard Marshal Yanda who will be indisposed. Yanda will be preparing for and playing in the Super Bowl instead.

Incognito, who started every game at left guard, is not generally considered the best Miami offensive lineman. That is probably center Mike Pouncey.

But Incognito's obviously in the right place at the right time.

Incognito confirmed the news on his twitter account. He tweeted, "Aloha ... 1st Pro Bowl," Sunday evening.

"I want to thank my mom and dad for supporting me in everything I've ever done," he later said. "With them this is not possible. Aloha."

The Herald just learned of this on Sunday(today)? We've been posting this since Saturday(yesterday).

Wow! The blog's even ahead of you guys. LOL...

Sign Jake Long and we have the best OL in football.

Yesterday when I learned of Incognito becoming a pro bowler I didnt know whether to believe it was true. Couldnt find confirmation anywhere on the Herald. LOL...

Herald also just learned Obama will be sworn in tomorrow.

Could you imagine TanneBust without a great OL? YIKES!

So I guess now the fickle dumb fans will say we should have drafted Flacco #1. The Matt Ryan talk is now put to bed.

Probably doesn't deserve it but he is a solid LG that I would love to keep on this team for a standard price.

Very glad Baltimore beat the divas, I mean Patsys. I'll be able to casually enjoy this Super Bowl without needing to route for or against someone. On top of the all-Harbaugh SB and Ray Lewis last game. This will be a very entertaining 2 weeks.

Wish Pouncey was going to the PB, kid deserves it more than Incognito though I give Incognito credit. You may hate him if he's not on your team but he still gets recognition around the league

Well, Flacco was certainly worth a #1 pick.

Where are all those bloggers that wanted Matt Poosy Ryan? LOOOOLLOOOOOLOOOOOOOLOOOOOOLLL

Dumb fkheads for sure.

It isnt that everyone in the State of Florida are idiots. Its just that most of the people who are in charge in the State of Florida are idiots. LOL....

The only thing missing from Ryans press conference was a tampon.

Sorry, but the Ryan/Long debate will never fully die until Tannehill soon gets this team to playoffs and/or wins a playoff game. Until this happens, it only gets postponed for another season.

Tannehill leading this team to a sb appearance before Ryan leads ATL to a sb appearance would be an "OFFICIAL SQUASHER"!

Matt Ryan > Dan Marino

Derek < vomit

Derek smells like my butt

Dan Marino never won nuthin.

18 years Dan Marino won nuthin!

Derek only won dicky.

Wes Welkers curse hasnt just hit miami, his CURSE has carried over to NE and tom brady!

He has as many SB championships as miami has in the last decade....WHICH IS................

How do you like those sour apples NE?

HA HA HA!!!!

AH Yes the "Pro Bowl" or in other words the "Joke Bowl"

I wonder if Incognito can spit on somebody and actually get away with it.

Miami has many miles to travel before they are as good as the New England Patriots. Sounds like the sour grapes are right down here.

Nope, sour grapes have been stale down here for some time. But maybe you should go listen to the crying that is NE football if you dont believe me.

The Patriots have nothing to show for the DOMINATION over the last 10 yrs but SB losses and AFC title bounces, Miami at least has enough sensibilty to not even raise those hopes that high which is why nothing is expected year after year.

But NE is much different which makes it all too SOUR TASTING!

IRONY, you're wrong on Welker!!! You haven't done your research. FOOL!

IRONY, check Welker on Wikipedia! It's written for simpletons.

REDSKY, please enlighten me and name the Imaginary SB that welker has won in his career then????

You look dumber and dumber with each post

The Pats Dynasty is the longest in NFL history.

The Pats are a Dynasty all right

Offer Flacco 18mill/yr. We have the cap space and he's the REAL DEAL!!

Welker has won 1 SB .

I see now that redsky actually learned how to read facts that he figured out that he in fact did NOT do his research on WELKERS SB wins.

ITS OKAY REDSKY, education is open to all, even simpletons like yourself.

Which SB would that be? LMAO

Are you and redsky Brothers known by the same alias name by chance??

IRONY....I told you to research your erroneous posting. You are the one that has stated Welker is worthless. I have simply stated Wikipedia states he is not.

Hey Patriot fans you had a great run but all good thing must come to an end. You are on the decline while we are on the away up. If you think that Brady will get better next year forget it, and if you think you are going to find another Brady also forget it. Let’s see how much of a genius Bill Belichick is with an average QB..

So start getting ready for 10-6, 8-8 , 7-9 season because the party is over and payback is a beach. So come down in December to see your Patriot and for the weather, sunny with a chance ass kicking.

REDSKY, where in my post stated BY me of the fact anywhere in it did I call wes welker WORTHLESS...

I SAID he has never won a championship in NE than miami has done over the last decade.

Is english a second or third language for you or something?

Your IQ is not at all EDUCATIONAL at the moment.

Coach Philbin is weak - he also looks weird i hate what the dolphins have become and know their logo will be weakened also

Irony, I never stated Welker won a SB. Where did you get that? Read what I said, are you illiterate, you effing moron. I only stated Welker was a great player and his record stands for itself! The Dolphins traded away a Hall of Fame Player!! You say that's wrong?

So let me get this str8t

you took my words and mixed them to say wes welker was worthless and not understanding what i said you turned it around on me stating he is a good player and Im the effing moron.

*lmao* IQ's not improving!! and your not convincing me!!!

IRONY, even at 60, I guarantee you my IQ is not lower than yours....I'm not saying you're stupid. Please don't misunderstand me, but I'm trying to dumb down my writing to your grade level! I even tried that "Choo Choo" book, 'I think I can, I think I can" and you didn't get it. I'm sorry you just don't understand. Maybe if your mom or dad or, your kids! They may be able to explain. Just have them read all the comments. Other than that, you're a great guy!

And heres some BAD NEWS for all you welker lovers as well,

HE is also a ball dropper on critical downs as well as marshall was here in miami(see tonight and last years SB)

So im sure all the prime time love over re-uniting welker in miami will cross many miami fans minds after tonights game and into free agency.

Well, if welker couldnt win a championship in NE having steller talent and an ELITE HOF QB in brady, how in GODS name will he do anything in miami with recievers like hartline and bess as his only support here in miami NOT TO MENTION A young QB going into his 2nd year if they should sign him to a big contract.

Are you 100% sure you didnt dumb down your understanding in reading my statement about welker earlier???...

Think about it long and hard before you answer, you can even cheat and go back up and read it if you'd like??

If Wes Welker becomes a hof'er none of us will probably live long enough to see it.

There still very good #1 and #2 wr's not in the hof. A "slot wr" is a huge longshot to enter the hof, even if name is Wes Welker.

I dont see wes welker turning into the burner everybody believes he is in NE

He is a system type of reciever and he is good in NE's system because he and tom brady have spent so many years working with each other

I think he will stay in NE given his desire to win a championship and I dont see anything in miamis needs that would pay welker the money he wants in establishing a VERY GOOD slot reciever[ probably the best] as your prime target for young tannehill.

T-Hill needs a young reciever he can grow with like welker has with brady, welker wont have that in miami considering he will be 32 next year.

Miami would be smart to pass unless they could package a welker deal with say... a wallace deal??!!

IRONY, I dumb down everything for you. But that's ok! I don't mind, I know you have the BEST intentions!!!.... Look, U don't know me, I'm busting your stones...I've been busting everybody's stones for 5 years! I know you're a Dolphan! Seriously, IRONY, I know you're going to tell me the truth....what do you think of the Dolphins new helmet logo...AND the fact they haven't consulted us as fans....if they want to improve the stadium, wouldn't it stand to reason that they'd include the fans....for example, invite local artists to create a new logo, uniform? Local architects, universities, for stadium upgrades?

YG4E, IRONY, we traded Welker away years ago....stupidly!!! He's done! Yes, he can still contribute, but only in a small way! The crying shame is that the Dolphins had him in his prime and did not recognize his talent! It's too late now! Welker is waning, but it is an example of continuos screw ups by the Dolphins. Trading Welker was the first irritant for me. But I'm older than most of you. After that we missed out on numerous standout QBs and others! Bad GMs and coaches since Shula left.

Mando! Great SB matchup! How's the media going exploit it? After all, you NEVER let the facts get in the way of a good story!

Mel Kiper and his mock draft has the 1st pick being an offensive lineman.I think maybe Kiper has been around longer than Parcells and dosent understand todays NFL.

Incongnito to the Pro Bowl? You wouldn't know it from some of the fans on this blog. I like Incognito because he plays mean and dirty and even blocks pretty good. Like most of the opposition that comes in to Sun Life and pushes the team around. Obviously most other players and coaches respect him as well.

You can see now how much Cam Cameron was dragging down the Ravens O. They are flowing now and a mighty dangerous group they are.

I marvel at how we are still here after falling in the hands of those beauties of HCs, Cam and Sparano, consecutively.

The super-Harbaughs Bowl.

In other news, The World is Round.

Same as the super-Athletes, there are some super-Coaches coming out, Harbaughs, others like Greg Schiano TB.

To the Football Fan, this herenow is the most exciting Time ever for us. Players with unreal potential, Coaches that not only are disciplined but smarter than most of their predecessors, Plays that have never been seen before executed by outasitte Players. Good stuff.

I think last nights result proved that D dtills wins championships! That said a decent offence often helps 😉

Again, Envy will lead you nowhere. So will Hate.

most people agree that tom brady has an awful lot to do with the stranglehold the pats enjoy over their AFC east rivals, with that being said, miami's offense is 2 stud recievers, a dominating tightend, a relentless powerback, and a highly competitive gunslinger behind the competition and that's just for starters, we could certainly use help on the O-LINE, and then there's the defense, luckily the defense is pretty good already, and hopefully olivea vernon becomes the other pass rusher, but the secondary needs attention. if miami somehow signs 2 stud recievers and a top tightend in freeagency and then uses it's first pick on the powerback, we will have GREATLY improved the offense, even though tannehill makes me nervous, i'm going to say sign a cornerback with 2nd pick, the rest is yours to color in, at least in my scenario miami's offense will be up to speed and possess what most of this years playoff teams have...and the powerback is the key...turner,gore,peterson......we need that powerback.
