What must happen for the Dolphins to be Super Bowl good?

The NFL season ends today with the crowning of the Super Bowl 47 champion.

Tomorrow we begin a new season. As I write here many fans and even some teams will study the Ravens and 49ers to see if they can find clues or reasons both those teams are Super and everyone else, well, isn't.

So I gave you my opinion. What's your's?

What must happen for the Dolphins to become a Super Bowl team? No, I don't believe the distance between them and the playoffs is that great. Three or four more wins and the Dolphins are a playoff team. But a Super Bowl team?

That gulf is wide, in my opinion.

Still, can the Dolphins bridge that gap in a couple of years, as the 49ers went from 6-10 in 2010 to the NFC championship game in 2011 and the Super Bowl today?

What must happen for that to happen?

YG.... I LIKE WHEN A POSTER LIKE DUSTY WRITES HIS BOTTOM LINE IN A VERY SHORT POST,NOT WRITING A NOVEL POST FOR US TO READ AS IF,WE WERE WAITING FOR HIM TO POST ..

I LIKED THE FACT HE GAVE US THE NUMBERS ON MOSS AND MARSHALL........

ALoco,

Only the tourists suffer from the Miami heat. Native Miamians are very very smart. We stay inside with the air conditioning.

ALoco, didnt you know? It was the invention of the air conditioner that led migration to the hotter states. LOL...

lol oscar prob true, yesterday is a little lost today, dude got served but cant admit it. hartline very valuable to this team i think

ALoco,

Marshall's last year in Miami he had 6 tds, he dropped about 4. Catching 3 of those he would have had 9.

In Chicago he had 9 recieving tds. You do the math. LOL...

((HARTLINE IS VERY VALUABLE TO THIS TEAM))......

HE'S THE ONLY PLAYER ON THE OL WHO GOT (( ONE LOUSY TD )).

PLEASE ,GO GET REAL WR ...

I love miami

Marshall was good for 3-4 dropped tds a year in Miami. LOL...

Stop living in the past we must and will get fresh new talent on this team the buck stops here so let mr Ireland do his job

licing in kc i get everyone here saying they would love to fla. then when im at my condo in fla i get people saying they would love to live in kc where they get different seasons

ALoco,

Like posted earlier, Hartline's a "move the chains luxury" for a team already very proficient in scoring points.

In Miami, we struggle to score points. Hartline's a present luxury we can not afford.

yesterday wrong again, just not your day bro. marshall had 11 tds with bears and dropped least 3 there. none bigger than one vs green bay

There is so much talent to choose from I really can't wait I'm going nuts it's our time dudes it's finally our time

Fins 77

You left out that Miami has more mosquitos than the Amazon jungle.

Cockroaches bigger than dogs.

10,000 lizards for every human being

The worst drivers in the country

Good weather is not hot, humid weather that leaves you sweating in the shade.

dustybottom,

I live in Ohio for a full year. There are only 2 seasons there, 8mths of winter and 4 months of what we call in Fl, "Spring". Winter begins in the last week of September and ends in like the 2nd week of June. LOL...

Get ready for your socks rocked off with this off season it's going to be great

YG...AGREE ON HARTINE @ 5;35 PM..

I THINK DUSTY HAS IT RIGHT ON MARSHALL AND YOU SHOULD SAY SO AND SHOW RESPECT FOR HIS GREAT POINT ABOUT MARSHALL/

The Everglades is the largest swampland in North America. They paved part of it, put up a few parking lots, invited every poverty stricken nation in, and called it Miami.

dustybottom,

If you researched, I bet you'll find Cutler targeted Marshall far more than he would have been allowed to be targeted in Miami.

You'll find 2/3 of all of Cutler's completions went to Brandon Marshall. Research son, Guess it reallyu isnt your day.

While gathering facts, gather them all son, not just the ones you like. It doesnt work that way. LOL...

Nahh, these Balseros here bother nobody. They are just in the "invento"(basically bartering), their drink and Women, and going to the Beach.

Man I love New Jersey just fine would not live anywhere else Monmouth county rocks

I LOVE SNOW....IT'S LIVING.............NOT SWEATING ....

i hate new jersey with passion

Spring...summer....fall.....and winter sounds right to me !!!!!!!!!

NJ IS A BIG PARKING LOT..

NEW ENGLAND IS A HEAVEN ON EARTH ..

Why do you hate new jersey

ALoco,

dustybottom only introduced the facts that he liked about Marshall. He witheld the facts that would defeat his argument.

Dustydottom like snake you put in pocket because snake says, "I wont bite". Then snake bite and you ask snake why?. Snakes say, "I'm a snake, you should know not to trust me". LOL..

Dusty bottom is a Moran

only been twice but both times it was horrible. dirty, people rude as can be. ugly ass women. bad food

I DON'T HATE NJ..MY BE B/C I WENT THERE FOR A DAY AND ALL I SAW IS PARKING LOTS .....

Winter in the north is very depressing. Northerners no tell you before you go there. They only tell you "change of seasons is very nice".

I suffer severe depression from dreary northern winters. Suicide rate in northern cities peaks during winter. Northerners no will tell you this. LOL...

dusty almost=I.I hate NJ almost as much as I do that "Magic Kingdom" World.

yesterday its hard to talk about facts when u never get any right my fellow fins fan, u made up that marshall only had 9 tds when he had 11 for bears. and if a wr leaves and gets targeted more by his new team that doesnt mean he wasnt needed here u silly sob. im glad marshall was dealt but tell the facts not your bias opinion

Well I guess you haven't been in the right part of the state some parts are not so nice or safe

oh yeah they also cant spell in jersey, thanks for reminding me nj

YG... SNOW ONLY IS 2 -3 MONTH IN NEW ENGLAND,WHEN YOU GO OUT AND CLEAR THE SNOW FROM YOUR HOUSE DRIVEWAY.IT FEELS GREAT ......

IT'S LIVING.

YG IS ANNOYING DUSTY ,THE SNOW MAN ,,

I can't decide weather we should sing Wallace or Jennings one of them will be a dolphin

NJ....

IT'S SIGN ,NOT SING ..

id take either. would love wallace though. but i think from the rumors that miami is wanting jennings first

ALoco,

In Ohio, snow is like 6mths. I only saw the sun 3 times the entire winter. Thats ghoolishly depressing. It was nightmarish. LOL...

The rams claimed Titus young today

Soon after it opened(70s), we went to visit Disneyworld. Lincoln was Plastic, that submarine never submerged, and there was not a Beer available for 5 miles around. Nevermore.

jeff fishers first bad move there

Sing sing a song make it happy and not so long

ALoco,

You guys get rammed up the a s s pretty well with the "noreasters" my friend. LOL...

Oscar I hate that place too it's so freakin lame rather go to the beach

Very true nor'easter are nasty as hell man

You guys have no lives whatsoever.

YG...WHEN SPRING COMES TO NEW ENGLAND IN APRIL WITH NICE WEATHER UNTIL NOVEMBER ...IT FEELS LIKE HEAVEN BEING OUTSIDE ..........

IT'S LIVING........

IN MIAMI ,THE HEAT KILLS PEOPLE

I vote Ross should withold unvieling of the "NEW LOGO" until after free agency. If it's gross, it could become a deal breaker. LOL

NJ..WHEN NOR'EASTER COMES,WE DON'T GO TO WORK AND CLEAR OUR DRIVEWAY BY MACHINE ALL DAY.IT'S CALLED LIVING ,,,,

I live just outside NYC and haven't had to shovel snow in over two years. There's barely been a trace of it.

You guys keep repeating this but apparently don't have the Weather Channel or any friends or relatives outside South Florida.

I've lived in Miami (native) and in the Northeast. Sorry, but I'll take the latter--including a little snow.

ALoco,

Up north, the winter kills people. Probably more cold related deaths than heat related deaths in Florida.

We have a great invention called airconditioning. You should try it next time youre down. LOL...

Nj,

I read an article yesterday that said Wallace was the wr the Dolphins are targeting. I can't remember which writer it was, I've read so many.

Even though I've been saying Jennings most the sense, I kind of like the sound of that.

Wallace would mean there serious about a game changer and maybe they'll be looking at other free agents and draftees like that as well.

The whole "constantly shoveling snow" thing is just as dopey and erroneous as some fo the criticisms of Miami, such as "nobody" speaks English.

Neither one is even close to the truth.

Jeff,

Driving in the snow sucks. Ice underneath, then you have "blackice", then your car rusts out from all of the rock salt to melt the ice and snow.

If buying a used car, I always check the Car Report to see where the car comes from. LOL...

Jeff,

You say that you live in NYC, try spending a winter in Buffalo in the snowbelt. I lived in that same snowbelt with the lake effect in Ohio.

Then you would be shoveling snow all winter long. LOL...

MR. OSCAR CANOLA,

DID YOU DO AS YOU WERE TOLD AND GO TO PUBLIX TO HONOR AND PRAISE MAYONNAISE?

IT IS CRUCIAL YOU DO THIS TO AVOID THE TERRIBLE CURSES OF THE MAYONNAISE GODS THAT COULD BEFALL YOU!

I SUGGEST YOU GO AT ONCE AND BEG MAYONNAISE FOR FORGIVENESS. THEN YOU WILL RAISE A CONTAINER OF MAYONNAISE ABOVE YOUR HEAD AND WALK AROUND THE STORE TELLING ALL TO OBEY THEIR MASTER.

JEFF,

I DON'T SHOVEL SNOW, I AM NOT SUPERMAN ,I HAVE A SNOW BLOWER .

wallace would be huge
