I think Tampa got ripped in this deal. If Revis was the one player they needed to become a contender and winning now, it would be a good deal. They are not. Jets get two 1st rd picks this year and picks next year. Rex will be gone and they will clean house. They will pick a QB high next year.

jets suck either way

Whew, thank god this Albert deal fell apart. Not worth giving up a pick and a huge long term contract when we can get someone younger, cheaper, better in the draft.
Maybe Ireland was just low balling them to see if they'd bite.

Ya had enough.....?

You don't want no more a dis, Aye.....?

Say Uncle.

Matter fact, CALL me Uncle. Call me Uncle Odin and I'll think about it.

You are dealing with posters that are very childish, immature, and perverted. it's a waste of time, although you show dignity in making the offer.

What can we deduce about a person whose favorite words are:

Bucs give up 1st and conditional 4th next year. Gave Revis 6 year deal which make him highest paid CB in NFL. NO guaranteed money!!

no guaranteed money!?!?! greatest contract ever then for bucs

great trade for bucs with that contract, cut him whenever he loses his ability

Peace with ALoco?

You ain't seen nothing yet you moron.

Ummmm....that his name is Dashi?

Why draft Lacy when you have Will Yeatman and Javorski Lane on your roster?

That would be my backfield inside the 10.

odin ,the donkey .........

Ted (at 4:38),

Did I miss something? Where did you read that the Brandon Albert deal fell apart? It looks like it is happening for sure.

Early to rise, early to bed.
In and between I cooked and cleaned and went out of my head.
Going through life with blinders on, it's tough to see.
I had to get up, get out from under and look for me.
There's a new girl in town and she's looking good.
There's a fresh freckled face, in the neighborhoood.
There's a new girl in town, with a brand new style.
She was just passing through,
but if things work out she's gonna stay awhile....ba ba bum bum bummmm

What Can We Deduce That A Person Is Only Attracted To The Words

And Trolling Dashi's Name Is? Yes, A Rainbow Warrior.

Notice It Is Always You Talking About Dashi. Not The Other Way Around.

More Than 95% Of The Words I Use On This Blog Are About Football. While You Only Love To Talk About Dashi.

The Interesting Part Is Dashi Has Only Used The Word Pecker Once. But You Apparently Have A Woodyard For It.

Again, You're Gay And Admit It. FF!!

Can someone confirm what Ted stated at 4:38? Is the Albert deal dead?

IS DASHI GAY ?????????????

From what I've seen on this blog, unless you react like a drooling imbecile about the word "gay" and gay people and express frothing hostility, paranoia, and juvenile contempt for a group of people who have absolutely ZERO impact on you then you, yourself, will be labeled as "gay" by the gang of Closet Queens that infest this blog.

YG, You're Gay!!

Seriously, Kiss My Pecker,

Enough of the gay sh*t already! Can someone confirm if the Albert deal is dead per Ted at 4:38?

Dash, maybe instead of outright lying or twisting your words around to cover previous statements, you should just Man up and own your comments.

There is no shame in being wrong. There is plenty of daShame in trying to be a weasel all the time.

How Hard Can It Be For A Football Player To Come Out?

It Is Like Someone Coming Out On This Blog?

How Hard Can It Be YG?

Does anyone know what Javorski lane Weighs?
His conditioning may be a factor in drafting a back.

dashi thinks he's smarter THAN ALL OF US....

HE'S A DUMBO ............

Nothing Is Confirmed With B. Albert.

The Fins Agreed On Compensation. What They Haven't Agreed With Is On A Contract. Ireland Is Already Spending A Draft Pick Don't Expect Him To Also Overspend On The Contract. B. Albert Is Going To Have To Want To Come To The Fins.

B. Albert Already Lives In Sfla. So The Fins Should Get A Home Town Discount.

Either Way The Fins Need To Fix The O-Line.

Ireland's Job Is On The Line. Yes, Free Agency Was Nice. Now Lets Get The Draft Right!! By The End of The 2nd Round!! Ireland's Fate Will Be Decided.

B. Albert Included.

I Have Never Been Condescending To Anyone Here.

Dashi Knows I'm Not Smarter Than Anyone.

That I Know More Football Than You. That Is Not My Fault. You Might Be A Better Historian. I Give You That. Dashi Doesn't Remember Watching Football In B&W, Or Blowing In 2 Colors, Black And Green. You Probably Have A Better Recollection Of Watching Al Michaels, Or Pat Summeral.

Age Doesn't Mean Experience.

But You Already Knew That.

*Or Blogging In 2 Colors, Black And Green.

My Bad Auto Correct.

Someone has not yet learned from the Long incident that home town discounts are fiction.

Albert deal isn't dead.

So how do you explain these disgusting and offensive posts?

Like I said, own up to your words like a Man instead of lying and try to weasel out of them.

You are in major denial about yourself.

But We Have Also Learned That Ireland Won't Overspend. Not Even For His #1 Priority.

Yes, Jake Was Wearing Down. And He Wanted More Money Than He Deserved. But Jake Was Destined For The Ring Of Honor From Day One. Jake Only Need To Play 10-12 Seasons. At Richmond Webb Level. 12-14 Years For HOF Level.

I am Ireland's Biggest Supporter And I Can't Justify Tuna Picking Jake #1, Then Ireland Losing Jake, Without Replacing Him.

B. Albert For A 2nd Makes Sense, But At The Right Price And The Right Length. You Want To Be Able To Move J. Martin To LT, After His First Contract. 3-4 Years About The Length Of B. Albert Contract. And Draft A Rookie RT High Then.

#1 Fantasy Scenario

2- Traded For B. Albert

#2 Fantasy Scenario

2-L. Warford
2-T. Armstead

Revis Traded.

6yr/$96 Mil.

Jets Only Get #13 Pick. And 4th Round Next Year.

Jets Better Get A Good Pick. I Want The Jets To Keep Sanchez.

Dashi, I just don't see Lacy going anywhere in the bottom 20. 4.63 is damn slow for an NFL RB. Unless you are Jerome Bettis or Csonka, which he isn't, it doesn't make sense to pick him so high.

We have far bigger needs at #1 than a 4.63 RB.

It is best not to overanalyze. Ireland replaced Smith with Grimes. He prized Long, he will replace him top priority.

It is best not to overanalyze. Ireland replaced Smith with From ESPN:
The Chiefs and Dolphins have been talking about a trade involving the left tackle for several weeks. Last week, the Chiefs granted the Dolphins permission to talk to Albert about a contract. Those talks remain ongoing.

While both sides are interested in getting a deal done, I think it's about 50-50 that a deal actually gets done.

Latest news:

The much-discussed potential trade of Branden Albert from the Chiefs to the Dolphins doesn't appear likely at the price Albert is currently seeking.

Although the Chiefs and Dolphins can probably agree on compensation - the Dolphins sending a second-round pick to Kansas City - the hangup is that Albert wants the kind of money that the Dolphins aren't willing to spend.

If the Dolphins weren't willing to pay Long that kind of money, it's hard to see why they'd be willing to give up a second-round draft pick for the privilege of paying Albert that kind of money. So the Dolphins may need to look elsewhere for a left tackle. And Albert may have to settle for playing this season for the Chiefs, making $9.8 million, and hitting free agency next year.

I thought you told me Thursday that the deal for Albert was done. That was Thursday. This is Sunday. Still waiting....

I told you at the time that the physical they were supposedly putting him through was just them doing their due dilligence. You argued with me on this point.

The talk is Albert wants $8-9 million a year. The Dolphins are NUTS if they make this move. If they are dumb enough to do this (ie. give Albert the type of contract they wouldn't give Long AND trade a second round pick), then Ireland needs to be fired. IDIOTIC!!

no frank deal is done. just waiting on albert and fins to agree to contract. rumor here in kc is albert wants 8 per. mia 7

I told you guys the Albert deal fell apart. For all the reasons being reported now. It would need to get done very soon and it ain't happening.

craig u cant be that dumb. deal is done, for second rd pick. now albert and mia have to agree on deal which right now albert is asking for a lot. but u already knew that,m u dont seem that clueless

yeah bobby deal wil be voided unless albert brings his price down which i dont see. now what in draft? millner has to be first rd. then ur gonna have to draft to fill needs sadly enough

You told me the deal was done and would announced Friday. This is SUNDAY. You're wrong bud....a deal's not done until it's done and this obviously isn't done.

ted only chance now is albert just decides he wants out of kc that bad so take less amount. he lives in mia and taxes could help. we shall see. fans were pissed on radio when they said deal was done for second rd pick. so if albert cant agree sure kc fans will be happy

Craig are you that naive that you would believe what idiot dusty says? Jeez. He is another blog blowhard know nothing.

PFT has the scoup. Ireland isn't going to offer Albert more than he offered Long.

yup guess u are that dumb craig. deal been done for couple days. just like revis deal a contract then has to be done also. again though u have to know that or u shouldnt even be on here talking football

I've said all along that Ireland wouldn't pay the price it takes to land Albert (the pick and the money). Makes ZERO sense. JPAO argued with me this week that it was a good deal to make and we'd be able to get Albert to agree to a deal for $6.5-7.5 mil a year). I've called BS on this all the way. The guy wants to get paid BIG TIME! He's not worth it.....move on!

wow karl your a genius. u idiot once deal was agreed on they gave mia permission then to work out a deal. how dumb are some of u, i know craig knows this but not sure with your legally retarded ass

Dusty these ignoramouses don't think a second about taxes when they are making that much money. They are already multi-millionaires set for life.

he worth 3 years 21 mill but not what hes asking for. huge hole to fill if alberts price doesnt come down.

dusty bull f8cking shyte the deals done. That's my point! The deal is contingent on Albert agreeing to a contract the Dolphins are comfortable with. He's obviously not prepared to do that. So back-pedal, make up whatever bull shyte you want. There's NO deal.....like I said to you on Thursday.

and please irelanbd tell me the rumors are false on u chasing a smith if deal falls through. hope that is a smokescreen

Craig, yes it makes ZERO sense. Maybe in the end Ireland wishes he paid up for Long, but I don't mind him holding his ground, that is his job, not to let blockhead ego headed players to take advantage.
