Complete Dolphins schedule right here

The 2013 season is important for the Dolphins.

It's the 40-year anniversary of their last Super Bowl win. It's the year we're supposed to see Ryan Tannehill become a franchise quarterback. It's the year Joe Philbin is supposed to have enough horses to win. It's a make or break year for general manager Jeff Ireland.

And this is how it is going to stack up according to NFL and media sources:

I think the bigger question is if we can sign him. One source say he thinks he may want 7 yrs / 56 million. No way Ireland goes that route.

Nope. Dont want him at that, not paying him till he's 36, no way, no how!

HEY DOLFAN RICK WE HAVE PERMISSON TO TALK TO KC OFFENSIVE LINEMAN TO HELP OUR BLOCKING

So, if you've noticed only 2 games Ive labeled as definite losses. All of the rest Ive labeled "must wins". At worst we need to 9-5 with the must wins. This gives us 9-7 at worst for the season

However, if we can go 10-4 with the must win games, we're 10-6 and most likely in the playoffs.

Actually, I see that I have 3 games listed as likely losses. So, we can only losses 4 of the must win games at most and go 10-3 with the must win stretch of games to finish 10-6.

This schedule's a very tall order Dolfans.

Our saving grace is 5 of those must win games are against the Bills-Jets-Browns.

Were gonna play'em one game at a time YG. "Any given Sunday". Ya know.

We can lose 2 of the first 5 but then only 3 of the last 9 and at least 1 of the last two unless we win 3 of the first 6 and 4 of the last 8 but then we'd need to split the division or better.

Meanwhile my damn Rays are in extra innings and I'm getting verrrry sleepy.

10-6/11-5, December is brutal

Colts game & Saints game could swing the season IMO. If you can get one of those, It puts you on another playing level IMO. A young team like this would get a lot of confidence.

And on the flip side, lose to the Browns, Bills, or Jets and the season is likely Fu$&ed

LOL@babble

Unnecessary but funny.

How many people thought we would lose to Buffalo Thusday night?

ANY GIVEN SUNDAY...

Also, having an early bye week sucks.

I can nearly 100% guarantee all dolfans one thing. Every nfl team fan in the league, looked at their team's schedule, and checked the Dolphins off as a win for their team.

Even the Bills and Jet fans marked us for a split in the two divisional games. LOL...

Hey Dolfan Rick
WE have permision to talk to Albert about a trade and give up a 1 of our #2 picks since we lost Long to the Rams through Free Angecy what chiise di we have
we need a Running back in the draft next week
It is Ryan Tanehill's year to get us to the playoffs with the Free Agent WRS
Wes Walker went to the broncos, i CAN SEE US SPLITING OR BEATING THE PATRIOTS TWICE THIS YEAR ANDMAKE BIG BABY TOM BRADY CRY THIS YEAR SINDE HIS FAVORATE WEAPON IS GONE BYE BYE !!

So according to the fans of all the other teams on our 2013 schedule. The Dolphins will finish 2-14 at best. LOL...

I'm not usually that confident YG but I think this year some of those team's fans are gonna be in for a rude awakening.

Go Fins!

Hope so Bobbi.

We cant beat the Browms.

Don't won't anymore high-priced LT's locked into longterm contracts. Want either Tavon or Eifert as the 12th pick. Further draft prospects I feel we need:
A Beast of a DE, a headhunter of a safety, a CB with zone experience and speed, a RB that can catch and bull-it-in in the Red Zone. Cound we wean some of our back-ups out and get new back-ups, or are we gonna' keep them untested forever ? Glad to see weather ruled-out of the NE games ( maybe ?). Go Dolphins !!

After 40 years wandering, I hope this may be the year the curse of the perfect season is over.

Report saying Albert wants minimum 5 year deal, 30 mil guaranteed... I don't see it happening.

Curse Of The Perfect Season Is Balogni.

Deranged Negative Fans Like You Don't Deserve A Superbowl.

Rather give up #12, a 2nd and a 3rd (dont know if that would be enough, prolly not) to K.C. for the #1 pick and take Joeckle, on a rookie salary for 5 years, than give Albert 30 mil guaranteed.

Dolfan Rick, feel bad for you. Marlins sux and no fans go to the games. Rays have had a pretty good team and no fans go to the games. Baseball is a tough draw in Florida.

Well, I don't think anyone will be able to nonchalantly cross the Browns off as an easy victory in 2013. They drafted 4th last year and draft 6th this year. Though I don't see them as a playoff team, they should be much improved in 2013.

So if you don't bring your A-game, you might be in for a rude awakening.

Curse Of The Perfect Season Is Balogni.

Another illiterate NFL fan.

Not only is 85% of the nation now illiterate. They are extremely lazy. Even with spell checkers and online dictionaries that allow you to look up a word in a second, they would rather take the easy way out and expose their stupidity.

Bobbyd12,

It does suck. If the Rays could get some fans to the games they could sign a few bats and be seriously good.

Apparently baseball wasn't meant for Florida...except the spring.

If I were the owner I would move them. Simple as that.

Chrino,

Try thinking as much as 3 1st rd'ers to move into the #1 position. #1 is 3000pts. #12 is 1200 pts, That's a difference of 1800 pts. So we need to make up 1800 pts my brother.

If 1200pts is the 12th spot,lets assume we get the 12 pick in 2014(which shouldn't happen). That's 1800 - 1200 = 600pts still to be made up.

The 31st pick of the 1st rd is 600pts. So you see how we get to the 3 1st rd picks to move up to the top spot? Are any of these tackles worth using 3 1st rd picks on? I didn't think so.

The only position worth using 3 1st rd picks on is a surefire franchise qb. Not a franchise LT.

You might want to add insensitve and rude to your list. Oh and talk some damn football!

It is just an analogy. I doubt many people think there is a lot of divine intervention in pro football, at least the intelligent ones.

Football is a tough draw in Florida too. Miami and Jax have the lowest attendance in the league.

Chrno,

Also, notice no one tried to move into the top spot when we picked Jake Long did they? Enough said.

We can only move as high as the 5th spot without having to give up a 1st rd'er. Both Joeckel and Fisher should be gone by then. Lane Johnson isn't a guarantee to be better than Martin. So here we are.

Basically two bye weeks!

After the Thursday game we don't play until Monday of the next week...and 11 day stretch.

The Falcons sent Ireland a Thank You note when he picked Jake Long.

Shula,

I think the difference football is if you win they will come.

Of course we're only talking 8 games a season in football.

So this schedule takes away the South Florida advantage in the first 6 games. Another NFL shaft to the Fins.

"who is going to run the ball?"

You know we have 11 draft picks, right?

"who is going to block?"

You know we have 11 draft picks, right?

"who can get open besides wallace?"

Hartline, Keller, Bess...and...You know we have 11 draft picks, right?

"grimes may not even start the season"

And the sun may blow up and cancel the season...and...You know we have 11 draft picks, right?

"clemons won't touch the football more than twice"

Sure, whatever.

"we need a kicker"

You know we have 11 draft picks, right?

MAN I HATE FAIR-WEATHER FANS? WHY DO YOU EVEN BOTHER TO POST WHEN YOU'RE JUST A WHINER ANYWAY???

LOL,

I can imagine. No one wanted to trade up to #1 spot in 2008 because we were the only team coveting Long so highly. It's the Falcons #2 spot everyone was interested in trading up to knowing that we would pick Long at #1.

The Falcons could have easily traded out of the #2 spot for a small ransom with Matt Ryan on the board. LOL...

We had Indy beat in their park last year. missed makeable FG. Should beat Clevland and Balt. But not Altlanta or N.O. going 3 and 2 at bye week. Then they could roll, they have to prove they can play with the Pats. Brady showed his age vs Balt. in last years playoffs. Hope the staff will watch that game. 11 and 5 or 10 and 6 if they stay relativly healthy should be good enough to make the playoffs. They may even get a reputation of the team no one is going to want to play in the post season.

Heck, we probably could have traded down to the 4 spot and still drafted Long. The Rams picked Howie Long's son at #2, Falcons took Ryan at #3.
At #4, I don't think that the Raiders were a huge threat to take Long. They took Darren McFadden.

Posted by: noreast dolfan | April 18, 2013 at 11:02 PM

Not only did we miss a makeable fg, Sean Smith lost a sure pick that turned td in the lights, and Dansby dropped a surefire pick 6.

We botched several clear cut opportunities for victory in that game.

After 40 years wandering, I hope this may be the year the curse of the perfect season is over.

Just in case you did not notice.....we won a Super Bowl AFTER the Perfect Season!! There is no curse!!

I wonder what Star's 10 yard split is in the 40. Just pondering here, but I was contemplating his ability to play DE in a 4-3.

....Looks at a glance like a difficult group of games. The league did us no favors the first 5 games to get going. 3 of the first 4 on the road with a Monday night game in the Big Easy(I highly recommend going to a game in N.O. Even in a dome it is great)
Atlanta, and Balt at home..Wow.

Obviously there is a long way to go, and we don't know how the schedule will play out. but I would imagine we won't be favored in any of those games except perhaps the opener in Cleveland. Like I said..The makeup of teams change so much every year that what the schedule says today has nothing to do with what it may come the time we play these games. But as of today . I would have to guess from last years totals we have one of the more difficult schedules in the league..

No time for excuses..Go Phins Lets surprise some people this year!

Brutal december. Why would the NFL give all our away games in freezing cities?

Greg G,
It was an attempt at levity. I am sorry it failed.

Just so EVERYONE knows, Nobody believes in odin's fantasies beside kris and dashe.

(Not even odin believes in them)

Then why are you constantly posting about them.......Huh?

Ah......Um........yeah. A little too ignorant to figure out how your actions make you look?

We Know - ROTFLMAO -Duh!

Valhalla!!!!

As Usual getting no respect on NFL network...but then when you have the number of former Pats they have why would we expect fairness. According to them the Phins will be 0-16!!!

Fins of Fury...no harm no foul...just didn't want the dumb Jet fans to think we don't know we won a SB since 1972.

When the new talent, we should be able to sweep the Bills & Jets at least.

I dont see a game on the schedule that we couldnt lose.

Odin,

Same name, every time homeboy! Too old with too many responsibilities (wife, kids, life in general) to be wastin time on here like you and YG, strokin each other up while you trash talk each other for hours upon hours!

HOOOOOOLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAA

====================================================

Yes, sure Bucky, well why didn't you just say so. Now we ALL know(wink, wink). You're just a regualar Joe, eh?

Suck my Willie Phillie and don't you Chrinio it out either!

....Greg G...And all of us for that matter. Don't worry about the NFL Network, or ESPN, whoever. Let them doubt us. We want to play the part of the underdog. Fly under the radar. It is better that way. Seriously. It makes no difference that every talking head thinks we will stink. It should be motivation to prove the football world wrong. The franchise has to do it on the field. Once we do, it will make the winning all the more satisfying.

For any team to have a great record, they need first to be good, 2nd, they need to be a little lucky. Football will always be a game of bounces. No matter how good or awful a team you are.

So a few bounces and breaks, here or there, go our way. We could easily be 10-6. But we can absolutely not become our own worst enemies.

Darryl you could not be more correct....let them all check us off as a win on their schedule. We have not even had the draft yet and these NFL network fools are picking winners and losers. Think of how things change during camp with injuries and cuts!
I for one will not be picking winners or losers until the week of the game....as Shula always said...One game at a time.
