Dolphins add another DB with final pick

I wanted cornerbacks. I got three in this draft with the latest being Don Jones out of Arkansas State University.

Jones, 5-11 and 191 pounds, has two interceptions in his career.

At the Arkansas State pro day, he ran a 4.42 and 4.40 40-yard dash, according to NFLDraftScout.com. He also recorded a remarkable 42-inch vertical jump, which has skyrocketed his draft stock. For his senior season, he recorded an unofficial 72 tackles with one interception and two passes defensed.

Jones missed the 2010 season becasue he transfered to a JUCO due to academic reasons. He had been a running back in 2009.

Jones, who played strong safety, is expected to get the opportunity to play cornerback.

No argument from me on that !!! I was tired right after the initial post!!!!

Ciao cuz...that's it for m as well....

What Lebatard doesn't understand is that there is so much f'ucked up s'hit hsppenning in the world nowadays. Who the hell wants to sit around boorishly sitting around until its jammed down our throats.

We all need and outlet and nfl provides that for some. Hell, some even find it in drugs or other illegal activities.

I mean, I for one don't want to sit around waiting for the Fox or Nsnbc news channel to come around and make me a mindless, brainless, robot pawn. Ive already seen what those people look like.

Msnbc

The 1% minority of the super rich, controls at least 90% of America, and 100% of our Federal, State, and Local government.

Hell, nfl football is the only escape for most of us. Now Lebatard wants to take that away. LOL...

Lebatard calls the nfl a magic trick. Little does he know, the "American Dream" is the greatest magic trick of them all.

Even when you think that you have it all, our govt has a slight of hand called "eminent domain". Its where they f'uck you without legally having to bring the grease.

Just one thought before I have to split..

LeBatard's article speaks to many sports, and he points out the deceptions and injustice in sports as in life.....

He couldn't mention all of them, but let me add one here:

Toilet tissue probably costs more in Publix than at Walmart....but, no matter where one shops, we still have to manage to wipe our own a-z-z when all's said and done.....

..so much then for life's inequities....

There's even a great slight of hand going on right now that's happening right under your vwery noses.

Its called the Sex Offenders List. Yes, many deserve to be on it. But, IMo, the true purpose is to slowly condition the masses into little by little, having their Bill of Rights taken away.

Think about it. For thousands of years there's been one type of sex offender or another. But there was never a true need for a list.

Even with today's Sex Offender List, sex offender crimes have not risen nor fallen below the norms of the past 2000yrs. So take a much deeper look at the true purpose before its too late.

Or one day we may awake saying "Heil" to someone, and it wont be Hitler!

Bodine is the first interesting poster I've seen here.

Also, with that sex offender list thing. I think that if someone did something so vile and depraved to be on a list like this.

Why in the hell didn't they just lock them up for 20yrs to life anyway? This list on its on merit just doesn't make any sense anyway.

Except to condition the masses into slow acceptance of their bill of rights slowly being taken away. I highly doubt that I'll awake one morning saying Heil anything to a sex offender. But.... on the otherhand..........

It'll be a much higher authority. Sex offenders could just be test subjects for something much more widespread to come. Call me crazy, but that's what it feels like to me. Its practice.

Here's how efficient our govt has become:

They finally caught and killed the greatest Houdini hide and seeker ever, in Osama Bin Laudin.

Found Sadaam Housain in a freaking hole.

Found the Boston Marathon bomber in less than a week with originally nothing to go on.

So what you gonna do when they come for you, bad boy?

Funny how YG4L is calling Gruden a hack, but if memory serves me right(And trust me it do's)YG4L was Calling for Ross to Hire Gruden as coach a couple years ago.
Not surprising really, We all know his Flip/Flopping

Oh yeah...
LOL..

They saved a few bucks in letting Bess go. I don't particularly like the move and it wasn't financially motivated.

Bess has topped out, reached his ceiling. On a faltering team with a lame duck Coach in Sporano, Bess was a bright spot.

But not anymore. As this team improved and changed schemes, Bess was exposed for what he is......AVERAGE.

That's not good enough anymore and the powers that be decided Bess was an over-priced, average, PROGRESS STOPPER! That's the real reason he was let go.

Having said that, WTF was the deal with how they let him go? It seems we could have done a little better than swapping a few picks. I was definitely disappointed with that.

You can bet there's one peculiarly interesting story behind this move.

We haven't heard from Armando for almost 14 pages worth of posts. Hopefully he's "On The Case"-LOL!

Oh yeah...
LOL..

Quit stealing "My Stuff"...........C'mon Man!

If this was a Comedy Club, we'd have to Fight!

Oh yeah, Almost Forgot Myself.........LOL...

Odin, Now you know what your "HOTTIES: Fel like after spend a few minutes with yu.
Just kidding., But not really.

:)

Odin.

You and your hack troll are wrong. Wisjed I could go back to 2011 when half the blog wanted Gruden and the other half wanted Cowher.

I was blasting those wanting Gruden. I was on the Cowher side of the debate and that's a fact.

Ross didn't even throw a fart Gruden's way. I never wanted Gruden. I watched the mess he made in Tampa Bay. Im a Floridian idiots. LOL...

Odin, Like I said the other might, This team could go 10, 11 wins if healthy, But tey have no Depth..
Injurys happen, I say 7 and 9(AGAIN), Healthy 11 and 5.
We'll see.

If Gruden were our hc we would be starting a new or different qb every week. That's what he did before finally being fired by Tampa Bay.

The supposed qb guru could neither develop nor find a competent qb.

When at Tampa Bay, the Dungy built defense allowed maybe 10pts a game. The problem was, under Gruden, the offense scored 5pts per game. LOL...

YG4L, You change your opionions so often you might be right, but I'd bet you "FLIPPED/FLOOPED".

I'm really looking forward to this season. I don't see any gigantic leaps deep into the Play Offs. But I do see a Team that seems to be ready. Forget knocking on the Door, we should be able to kick it in with this Crew.

I can't wait for the first time we face a QB with a 3rd and Long situation.

Starks and Odrick in the middle, Wake and Vernon on the edges.

Ellerbe almost centered up behind them, a little deeper than usual. Wheeler and Jordan feigning Blitzes as the QB makes his pre snap reads.

Grimes and Taylor on the outs and Jones and Jordan Kovacs ready to bust some heads.

Ok, so maybe Kovacs is a pipe dream. But check it out! We have enough speed and skill to stay with our base 4-3 personnel on 3rd and long. Not saying we would......But we COULD!

Think about it. We were 3 Dan Carpenter field goals away from 10-6........BEFORE all these latest upgrades!

Depth Odin, Depth.

Dumb ass, an opinion isn't a fact, so why the hell cant it be changed. Is it because it not allowed in your wonderful world of false illusions?

Odin,

We're only a legit LT and RT play away to being at least a 10-6 playoff team. No s'hit!

****Drunken Poster ALERT****
**************************

Sober up YG, that was DEFINITELY BODINE that mentioned you wanting Gruden. He was OBVIOUSLY pissed at you over the Betard issue.

I choose to ignore the entire issue, I never mentioned YOU, Gruden or Betard!

LOL...LOL...LOL...LOL...LOL...LOL...LOL...LOL...

Im off to bed. Not going to sit up past 1:30 AM to play dumb games with even dumber people.

You guys have a great night.

No YG4L, A change of opionion is welcomed, but when you change opinions every day, Well that just leads to...., Well you know.Flip/Flop.
Iam not the firt guy to observe this, It's been going on for years.
Just saying.

Good night YG.

Bark,

Depth is Definitely and issue with this team. That and the YOUTH are probably the biggest concerns.

Having a young team is great. But you need **SOME** Veteran Leadership and Experience(depth).

Considering it's year II of the Ireland/Philbin Rebuild, I'm happy with the Progress. We filled in just about all the blanks this year.

Next year we'll be able to focus on nothing but Play Makers, BPA's and Upgrading the upgrades(The last being the BEST way to fortify and add depth)!

The only rules I ever observed here was:

No subject is taboo.

Armando's even removed that.

What, do you girls have some sort of secret rulebook that even the Herald doesn't know about?

No doubt its on Tannehill this year. I give the fo a good solid B to B+ on the weapons they've surrounded hm with this year.

The most important reason I believe the kid rises to the occasion this year? The kid has hat "IT". Maybe a bad analoogy, but after all, the kid's "IT" ot him marrie to a super model. Didn't "IT"?

YG4L first post of the day.
Dude your gonna have to do better then 11 hours of posting to beat Odin.

YG,

Why are YOU trying to talk down to ME? I've been nothing but Kool to you since the draft began. We even had some good dialogue.

Oh Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

YG is "Flip Flopping" on me. HELP!

Somebody HELP ME!

LOL...

Sorry YG, I couldn't help it. SERIOUSLY now, why are suddenly turning on me? I haven't said anything negative to YOU and all I have done is talk football with YOU.

What's Up Man....?

Odin like I said, ould be 11 and 5 or 7 and 9, Depends on the injrys.
Then again every team has the same problem..(Except New England)(For some reason)(LOL)

Odin, RE:YG4L POST @ =1:39, You know after 11 hours of posting(And drinking I'am Sure) he's.... Well he's F.Up..

A large portion of it is ALL in Tannehill's hands.

Pro Football Focus had him ranked high in medium to deep ball accuracy and I believe they had him as 1st or 2nd when facing the blitz.

He did this as a Rookie and these two Categories are Fvcking Huge!

Tannehill slowly and steadily made a believer out of me. All things considered, I see him taking a Giant Step Forward now that he's been surrounded with MORE talented players. His defense was good last year and it should be even better. I believe they'll be getting him the ball back and providing him many more opportunities.

It's all on Tanny now and I think he'll be up to the task!

Valhalla!!!!

He's got the weapons now, No Excuses.
Hopefully he'll excell..

I agree. We are a playoff team if he is a top 15 QB. He has all the tools and I thought he played his best ball at the end of the season. Even in that stinker against the Pats he threw catchable passes when he terrible protection and nobody was getting separation. He did the most with what he had. Now that he has more, he should improve significantly.

RBs Miller and Thomas have to be Productive.

What QBs on play-off teams are the fins gonna have to beat..
In the AFC
#1 Tom Brady
#2 Peyton Manning
#3 Rapelestberger
#4 Rivers
In the NFC
#1 Rodgers
#2 Eli Manning
#3Koeponik
Guys lets fcae it, You gotta have a great QB to even sniff a Super bowl.
Jut saying, The Fins are light years away.

But Heck,. I've been cheering them for almot 50 years, Why stop now. GO FINS.

BARK:

YOU're LOOKING AT THE QBs.

LOOK AT THE WEAPONS SURROUNDING THOSE QBs AND WHAT T-HILL HAS AND THERE's NO HOPE FOR HIM TO KEEP UP.

Everybody forgets that our o-line wil be better with the new OG draftee. We also got the best blocking TE in the draft. I am sure our RB and DE positions will improve greatly and last there are several LT our there to be had.

rivers is on a playoff team?

Its obvious Ireland is still trying to catch lightening in a bottle. So that someone will think he is smart.
This will be his last draft in the NFL.
