Live blog of tonight's Dolphins scrimmage

There will be no television. There will be no radio. There will be no live streaming on the internet. And the Dolphins will not be providing official statistics.

But this blog will be live and in living color the whole time.

I'll give you play-by-play as well as I can. I will tell you everything I see. And I'll do it in the comments section.

Hartlines injured?

Well no question how the RB's are rated so far tonight

Thomas
Gilleslee
Miller

Hartline has easily been the most effective and explosive WR in camp so far.

Yay tanny! Somebody's ready to show off tonight!

Thomas has great hands, he is going to catch a lot of balls and push the secondary on its butt.

JOHN JERRY..BINNS AND NOW HARTLINE.WERE GUNNA START THE SEASON WITH TH JV UNIT AT THIS RATE

We are getting great updates from Mando and YG is here destroying the blog as Usual.

At least wait til after the scrimmage to Troll.

Yeah, that's my boy on that bootleg.

So binns hurt, hartline hurt, but why isn't Wallace playing? Makes me worry!

Correction: TD to Keller was from Tannehill. I was reporting on Hartline at the time.

Goal line:

Miller gain of 1 from the 3

Thomas has great hands, he is going to hold a lot of balls and pat the secondary on its butt.

Why not take your own advice instead of waste our time with this useless post? Sheesh.

As long as Hartlines injury isnt serious its fine. Tannehill and Hartline are already on the same page so it may give Wallace and Gibson more touches and speed up the process there. But yeah not good if serious or lingering

Second down, play action complete to Rodriguez and on third down, Miller off left tackle for the TD.

I tell you, Lamar doesn't wake up he riding bench.

Miller TD!!

Wow, so Tanne/Keller made the td and not Devlin? Devlin is what 1 for 6 tonight?

Second team O vs. Secon team D.

Matt Moore incomplete fromthe 3 yard line on first and on second down, Gray sneaks in for the TD

Armando,

If you can, after the game it would be cool if you can post the stats.

It is always about you YG.

Stick to Football.

T-Hill is throwing TD passes and you are talking Dashi.

Literally!! Giving an explanation on 1 definition of the word Dashi.

T-Hill with 3 TD passes tonight to 3 different guys. Can't wait to watch these guys next week against the Cowboys.

was anything posted on Hartline injury?

Pesonally I wouldn't name myself after fermented seawead soup. That has too many weird connotations.

i know it's not over til it's over but is it over?

DSW,

Agreed.

This is sounding like the best the offense has looked all training camp.

Punt and Marcus Thigpen drops it inside the 10 yard line. Two wrongs: Don't field it inside the 10 and definitely don't drop it.

Miller will start. Thomas is a short yardage back imo. He has no shiftiness, runs like a clydsdale. And is already fumbling during practices. Miller has the potential to be a top rb in the league imo

Word on twitter is brian hartline has a calf strain... anywhere from a one week to a six week recovery depending how bad.. i guess wel see

I don't know but what Armando is posting doesn't go along with what others are posting.

Why would Hartline play if he even had the slightest reason not too? this isn't the Super Bowl it's a scrimmage and half the people on here are ready to jump ship.

Must be the fast.

I haven't heard anything about Ellerbe yet

And now Thigpen seems to return a punt 65 yards for a TD. Of course, no tackling but it looked really good.

That's because if they lose the scrimmage, they have to start the season at 0-1
Duh!

Mando - this blog is more fun than the games.

Of the 3 backs

Thomas is the best blocker, hands down
Thomas has the best hands, hands down
Thomas has the most experience, hands down

I like the other guys, but Thomas will start.

Gilligan is by far the top RB in camp so far.

I'll wait for the front office to address it

First team O vs. D and hurry up.

First down a completion on a slant to McNutt for 12 yards.

On second down Koa Misi sacked Tannehill for a loss of 6 yards.

Guys they're doing goalline work, some against the second team. They better be scoring! ;)

If Brian Hartline does indeed have a calf strain like im hearing on twitter.. if its bad enough where he took his pads off were lookin at atleast two weeks out probably if not more.. ireland needs to make a move

No way Daniel Thomas starts.

Only one problem. He is not the best RUNNER with the ball. That kind of puts a damper on things, being a running back and all...

SACK

DION JORDAN

2 MINUTE DRILL

Son, please catch the god-amed punt.

Completion fromTannehill to Lamar Miller for a short gain.

And then out of shotgun, Samuda playing right guard gives up a sack to someone. He basically whiffed on the play. Looked bad.

Michael Egnew with a catch from Matt Moore on first down for a 10 yard gain.

Devlin is going on his 3rd season and that makes 3 seasons he couldn't even beat out the current back up.

No way it's 6 weeks if he's still standing on the sideline. That would be a high grade strain and they would have his leg elevated with ice. Or they would pre ice it on the field before elevating and compressing it. I wish we could see what hes doing.

Slant by Moore INTERCEPTED by Kelcie McCray who steps in front and goes 39 yards for the TD.

First big Scrimmage and the critics are out in force

Gillislee fumbles. That's back to back turnovers on offense.

So much for the turnover margin.

Only one problem.

Only one problem yes, you haven't checked his stats. One of the most productive runners during his college years and has done quite well in the pros. His issue is staying healthy, not running, catching, and blocking.

That's because if they wait too long, the Fins might turn out to be good, and then they won't have anything to say. =)
Carpe Diem!

Phins78, are you a doctor? or are you pulling a da Shi?

Btimms who is jumping ship? Believe it or not this is the most rational and objective blog we've had since the last time armando was here. Hahaha seriously though, this is tame and you wont want to be here when armando leaves.

Unless he is injured Lamar Miller is the starter.

L.Miller has been a Star RB his Whole Life. Has way Better hands. And Pass Blocking is about the same if not better than D.Thomas According to Philbin.

D.Thomas only became A RB after his 2nd Year In College. He was a QB before then.

But keep spewing your factless ignorance.

Explain to everyone how you want L.Miller to get hurt.

Mando can you post an update on hartline? is he getting iced? standing? you have me scared.
