Live blog of tonight's Dolphins scrimmage

There will be no television. There will be no radio. There will be no live streaming on the internet. And the Dolphins will not be providing official statistics.

But this blog will be live and in living color the whole time.

I'll give you play-by-play as well as I can. I will tell you everything I see. And I'll do it in the comments section.

By the way, the Dolphins released their tentative depth cahrt for the Hall of Fame Game. No surprises.

Devlin scrambles for 9 yards. Sloppy as no one open downfield.

Only one problem.

Only one problem yes, you haven't checked his stats. One of the most productive runners during his college years and has done quite well in the pros. His issue is staying healthy, not running, catching, and blocking.

...and don't forget, holding onto the football!

I like Miller very much. A great pick. I'll speak for myself thank you.

Keelan Johnson with the sack on the blitz from his safety spot and Jonas Gray follows with a 9 yard run.

you're welcome

Philbin has praised many a player two days before cutting them. Let's not be naive now.

four yard completion to Gillislee on a quick slant from Devlin.

I played multiple sports for a lonnnngggg time. Lots of injuries so I have personal experience:)

Thigpen goes right for three yards.

#1 Reason Philbin Loves L.Miller. He Doesn't Fumble.

Devlin with an incompletion.

The only REAL advantage Thomas has is that he is a bigger back. He could even sub in for a FB.

Bumphis again! This time down the right sideline for a gain of 28 yards on fourth and four. Good night for him.

Armando what are you talking about! That turnover ratio is perfect for the defense. Ha

Are they running new and different plays Armando...or does it look like the same old playbook with different players?

Dion Jordan beat Will Yeatman for a sack.

Gillislee has a fumbling problem.

1st sack for our number one pick

Yeatman is playing LT.

Next play Yeatman handles Jordan.

Devlin completes to Brian Tyms to the 2 yard line. Third and goal now.

Armando doesn't like Devlin since he became a southpaw.

And another rookie shines with an interception of Devlin by Will Davis in the end zone.

I Hope,

Good Question.

Are the Formations more Wide Open? Or Traditional?

For a Guy coming off an injury DJ is showing some flashes.

Me likes.

That's it.

tough nite for Devlin. Shame for Hartline although it doesn't seem serious. Nice work by Bumphis and keller and Jordan and Davis and McCray.

Mando, Which corner stands out tonight?

Philbin is obviously taking some long looks at fringe players. This early game might allow him to find most of his starters early and get them lots of reps during preseason packages.

Thanks Armando!!!

Really appreciate the view to us'n widout windows.

is over?

Too many earlies there.

Thanksagain Armando, much appreciated.

This meant less than nothing, except for the Coaches.

Joe Philbin has decided not to address the media following this scrimmage. Talked to the crowd and thanked them for coming. Asked for their support going forward.

Man, the season needs to start...

Thanks Mando.

I know sometimes you don't like to run play by play. But we appreciate the info.

Crowd of 22,876 tonight.

Fast is probably over by about 10:00PM today.

Why is it so slow in here every time Armando shows up? Weird. Yeah Dashi it was nice to at least hear Jordan showed up. The guy was at one time considered the best defensive talent in the draft so hopefully he can make a name for himself here.

i heard another team that had 60 k at a practice. how many do we get?

Who is Bumphis?

Armando, you are the best.

A record crowd for a scrimmage tonight. A horrible night for Carpenter. Is he choking his job away to an injured player?

Crowd of 22,876 tonight.

Thats more then they get at most games.

Now we can recap.

Everyone talking football and a certain someone just talking Dashi.

The Offense looked good in stretches. The Defense looked Better.

Can't wait til the HOF game.

Great crowd. Thill awesome on fire. Thanks Mando!

So, after one week of practice, there's still work to do. No surprise there! And, sone of the veterans are still a bit rusty. We'll know more by the season opener.

Thank, Mando, for the updates on the live blog! Enjoyed it!

surprised Jordan has gotten involved so quickly.....thought he'd be half speed for awhile

Anyone keep track of the score? Just curious.

Tannehill was 8 of 11 for 72 yards. Three TDs. Excellent night overall.

What is the score

Some people disappear when Armando shows up. And a Certain SOMEONE Acts like a Normal Person almost.

Dang! Still can't post!!!!

Sounds like Tannehill is still struggling. When do we switch to Moore?

if Hartline indeed tweaked his calf, be glad its only late July......relax

There was no score kept. So no score.

Thanks Armando very much appreciate your time and effort.

Atl.....yeah, with those stats, including 3 TDs, sure, Tannehill is struggling......go back to the Jets blog

Good QB's hit 100% of their passes in scrimages.

You're kidding right?

T-Hill was the best QB of the scrimmage by a wide margin.

M&M was splitting time with Devlin. Devlin threw a pick but didn't fumble. M&M did both.

Phins are going to win the afc east, no trepidation, I think they will dominate the afc east once and for all and for a long time.
