Live blog of tonight's Dolphins scrimmage

There will be no television. There will be no radio. There will be no live streaming on the internet. And the Dolphins will not be providing official statistics.

But this blog will be live and in living color the whole time.

I'll give you play-by-play as well as I can. I will tell you everything I see. And I'll do it in the comments section.

Phins78,

No Problem.

I know who you are referring to.

I do find fun in pushing YGs Button. Anything he would ever say will never hurt me or get me mad. I can't get Mad. But Boy Can I Get YG Mad. Down To The Way I Write.

I believe Odin might feel the same way. Not speaking for him. But just by the way he talks to YG. You can tell he is laughing at YG while he talks to him.

YG is simple. Add to the fact that he repeats the same thing Over and Over.

Now, I Agree with Oscar. Some harmless joking isn't bad. But YG doesn't know when he goes from Harmless to Annoying.

I show that I am a Bigger Person than him by showing him, I don't take anything he says Personal. While he will ramble on about the same thing for hours on in.

Look at the Gillislee debate. He takes it personal that he is wrong.

I dont think Ross will ever have a winning season.

Except for that winning season he had

I show that I am a Bigger Person than him by showing him, I don't take anything he says Personal.

My how you have a short, or should I say, convenient memory.

Careful, or you might provoke some blogger to repost your countless vile and filthy posts about spitting and swallowing, which will refreshen your memory I'm sure.

Big Dawg,

I never change my name. Dashi is Dashi.

I change the Posted by. Usually as a joke or making fun of you.

But when has Dashi ever denied being him?

Name Once?

Heck, Who In This Blog Types With His First Letter Of Every Word Capital? Only Dash-I.

Dash-I don't hide.

Don't try and justify or change the meaning of what Dash-I said.

That is one of your sociopathic signs showing.

Post all you want.

Dash-I isn't insecure in myself.

You just keep proving my point.

You switch every football conversation into a Dashi conversation. While you act insecure and post under many different names. Dashi posts as himself.

And every time I tell you suck and swallow you are the one that goes Haywire.

So Suck and Swallow Dashi In Ur Mouth And Let 17-0 Drip-Out-Ur-Ass.

Dashi SMOOOCH BABY!!!!

Hi Dashi!

..Checking in to see how the scrimmage went after a beat down on the river...Holy hail storm. Anyway. I think it is difficult to measure the success of a scrimmage from behind a keyboard. These scrimmages are less then even preseason speed, or intensity. So who is too say that we can draw much from the results. I'm not privy to the practice tape, I have no idea what the coaches were looking for today(within the confines of this controlled scrimmage). From what I have read. It sounds like Tannehill did well. Gilislee showed some improvement, and the defense had some sacks, and created a few turnovers. Par for the course really.

Now we wait until Sunday. We won't know much about the first team for a few weeks. Actually another month. But it will be great to see the scrubs(scrubs is a poor choice) the number 2's and 3's play. See if there is a guy that comes out of nowhere to make the team. It happens every year, on every team in the league. who will be the longshot that impresses? Who will fall flat?

We had fun with you this weekend Dashi!
Were you serious about the marriage proposal?

PHILLIP WHEELER WAS ALL OVER THE FIELD TODAY.

FINALLY A LINE BACKER WHO CAN COVER TIGHT ENDS!!!

"Tannehill didn’t look bad, but the offense without Wallace and Hartline had trouble picking up first downs.".....from the PBP
=====================

Without Jake Long, Reggie Bush or a decent QB 1st downs will be scarce. The O will be more inept then last years.

Tannehill also fumbled.

DD it sounds like things are turning around on our offense. We know they have to go up against a top ten defense every practice. The TD's are starting to come.

F22, Are u retarded?

Jake long and reggie bush equaled one of leagues worst offense.

fin4life was in here for like 12 straight hours I wonder why he didn't stay for the scrimmage.

If Lamar Miller doesnt play like a superstar this has the makings of another 1-15 season.

We are gonna sweep the Jets this year so 1-15 is out of the question.

Ya got the talkin part done LOL

And you got the stupid posting part done.

We shall see....

By the way, where do we get that 1 win?

The NFL is worse than Iran.

I mean really, NFL so oppressive that they can't stream a scrimmage for free?

if we go 1-15 will Ross still keep Ireland?

Only way Ireland gets fired is if he kills someone. Even then, I'm not that sure he would get fired.

Listen, I hope they win a lot more then one. But Miller has some big shoes to fill IMO. And without much blocking.

Thomas should be the FB in most play applications. The recent WR/OL injuries will allow the O to progress to mid-season form by the end of camp. It will probably result in valuable talent, that would have been lost on the waiver wire, being retained.

Bumphis was a big part of making Miss State almost not suck. Never had a good QB throwing to him. I hope he gets a chance one day.

Probably the coaching staf don't want other teams wach our scrimmage

That would be because I live in Miami and my Football/Dolphins Jones took me to the scrimmage!

By the way I was on here between Noon and about 5 P.M. hardly any were near 12 Hrs.

Team looked good and very fast on D, Jordan had a couple of sacks and Vernon looked good. Rookie 3rd RD CB Davis can cover and will factor into the Season.

The training staff was looking Hartline over and hope it's nothing serious.

The entire section were I sat felt jipped that Wallace didn't play though!

If hartline and Wallace are injured, another fr----g loser season

Wallace = damaged goods

The sixty-million dollar man did not scrimmage--duh. I don't expect to see much of him in the HOF game either. Not because of injury; it's just good sense.

Let's have an honest vote,

OK, I vote YG is an UTTERLY useless Troll that ruins every blog possible.

I have 1 vote for you, I'm sure you'll get more.
==========================================

Dude, you're one Simpleton Goof! Not even worth the mindless blog hits. Utterly Worthless.

Go back over these 9 pages. Other than Nimrods multiple names and idiot posts.......Not Too Bad!!!!

Wallace did not play because Front Office embarrassed by their multi-zillion dollar one-trick pony (Run deep Mike, and please catch ball if you can).

L.A. bound-losers unraveling before our own eyes.

What's truly scary is that they haven't hit bottom yet.

It sounds like Tannehill was very sharp tonight. Especially when you consider he didn't have either starting WR to throw to.

Ireland has this nasty habit of obtaining injured players. Odrick, Jordan, Wallace.....YIKES!

And every time I tell you suck and swallow you are the one that goes Haywire.

So Suck and Swallow Dashi In Ur Mouth And Let 17-0 Drip-Out-Ur-Ass.

Odin,

You better be careful about what you say. I'd hate to see you move up on YG's list!

Whud you gots?

What Up........?

Par-Tay Par-Tay Par-Tay Par-Tay!!!!

Looking back on the past year of posts, I see about 80% of the bloggers here frequently post under multiple names.

It is not just one or two.

Maybe the solution is to discipline yourselves to stick to football, because once one of you wanders off, many follow.

It's your blog, so it runs they way you dictate it to run.

So Fin4,

Will Davis looked good.......?

Yeah, I was all over Jamar Taylor, I even had him in my mock/wish list.

But when we drafted Davis I took a better look at him. I was smitten-LOL. Pre-Draft I wasn't aware of how raw he was and how little playing time he had at the position.

Then I combined that with all the Youtube Clips. I was blown away.

I think Taylor will be a very-VERY Good to Great Corner. I think Davis can be just as good, if not better.

BTW - I saw your "Sleeper Post" to me on the last blog. Coming from a poster like you, I take that as a GIANT Compliment.

Thanks ;)

Inside Info,

What you say might be true.

I doubt it though. THAT's just my opinion.

But here's a FACT for you: 80% of the problems here come from just one poster using multiple aliases.

FWIW - It's FACT!

Dmitri baby. He and grimes with a top 3 front 7 will be great.

If the oline holds up we will win the division this year.
Martin samuda pouncey incog clabo is the best combo
Or thomas for samuda. Jerry, louis, garner yeatman are backups

Phins78,

My post @9:21 wasn't directed at you. I know it was right under your post. But I just want to clarify it was directed to YG. Not you. The Blog was just moving fast at the time.

odin,

I must admit Davis looked real good! Jordan can fly off the edge and could easily have had another sack of Tannehill coming off the left side. By the way Tannehill was moving at a tempo that if equaled in live action during the Season will make us a very tough out on anybody's schedule. Wish I could have recorded some of it and loaded on facebook or something didn't hit me till I was on my way. By the way our interaction on football is one of the reasons I weed through the BS here and you do know your under the radar players my friend!

Odin,

You better be careful about what you say. I'd hate to see you move up on YG's list!

ROTFLMAO!!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Woodshed,

I Doubt That. Dashi is CEMENTED at the Top of EVERY List YG Makes. Everyone else is playing for #2.

I have YGs Number. I know which buttons to Push.

YG does as Dash-I say.

YG dislikes everyone here, but he HATES Dashi.

I don't know about anybody else, but I can admit when I'm wrong.

I've been wrong about Dion Jordan playing strictly as a DE/Pass Rush Specialist.

I do have one qualifier(Excuse-LOL). Jordan bulked up to about 248 for the combine and had his body fat down to 3&. I was convinced the Kid would just be too small to play DE. Because of his low body fat percentage, I thought he would have a tough, long, drawn out process in gaining weight.

I was wrong there too. Barry Jackson has reported that Jordan has been eating 4 meals a day and snacks too. He's got his weight up too 260. Apparently without any chemical assistance. Also, Jordan himself said he feels great with the extra weight and it hasn't slowed him down any.

Too me, this is GREAT news! Jordan's up too 260 and got two sacks in the first team scrimmage.

That's exactly what I would expect from the 3rd overall pick in the draft!

Wake is one of the BEST. He's proven that he's willing to teach these youngsters anything he can.

Vernon is progressing very well!

Now Jordan begins collecting sacks!

You can expect ugly from the first team scrimmage of the year. But you can also expect a lot of good things from this team. It could be better, but I like the way things are going so far.

Wake, starks, soliai, ellerbee, grimes, jones are all probowl calbur players and vernon odrick wheeler are playing better than all of them right now. If dmitri wins the 2nd corner spot and jordan plays like a top pick wow.

Devlin threw more passes than Moore.

But it Isn't a Competition.

They shared the same amount of time with the #2 Offense.

But it isn't a Competition.

Devlin Turned The Ball Over Less Than M&M.

But it isn't a Competition.

odin/Dashi,

In watching the scrimmage it was evident that nobody on the interior of the OL has their job set in stone outside of Pouncey and were looking to the future here. If Cogs was a 5 Mil or more OG I would venture to say he would be a Camp caualty but given Cap # sticks for this his final Season in Miami.

D.Thomas looked athletic and in the shuffling not for nothing but from left to right Thomas, Samuda and Pouncey (with Pouncey and Samuda switching as well) the line moved quickly. I can't remember seeing a faster group for us really.

Don't take it to mean the best ever for a minute loooong waaay to go but for sure the fastest I can remember.

Odin,

DJ will still see time at LB.

The Coaches just want him to learn 1 position first. Philbin said DJ and OV will be used the same way. They will rush the passer, but they will also cover on certain downs.

Wake and Wheeler on One side, OV and DJ on the other. Can't Wait. I hope Misi gets better but I don't see him in the Fins future.

Now I am also amazed at how Quick DJ is adapting. This kid has the potential to be a Beast. A Franchise DE.

We definitely have gotten faster at every position this offseason.

Fin4life,

What did our goal line offense look like? Are they using multiple TE sets often? With Keller, Sims and Clay all looking good this camp I'm curious what the strategy will be to get them all involved.

You can expect ugly from the first team scrimmage of the year. But you can also expect a lot of good things from this team. It could be better, but I like the way things are going so far.

Posted by: odinseye | July 30, 2013 at 12:58 AM

I don't know how much of an explanation Mando gave you guys but Jordan lined up at DE and also at OLB next to Vernon were they blew up their side of the field and were on Tannehill at break neck speed, critique Martin all you want but Solder (intended victim in Season) couldn't have stopped it and will force Pats to slow them down running or keeping extra blocker in, I suspect you'll see some Vs. Romo depending on how long he goes Sunday night.

I'm sure there will be more of that with Jordan on both sides to come for sure this Yr. but tonight just off the one side and wow did they get in on Tannehill fast who conversely made a nice play dumping it off to J.Lane who almost went in for the score. I can't stress to yu how quick this team looks and that's without Wallace playing and wait till you get a load of Keller underneath will bring tears to your eyes!

==========================================

Yeah! What Jay said!

WOW!!!!

Odrick playin de is the key to our run d. He is great defending the run as a de. When vernon played more at the end of the year our run d feel apart. I like vernon and jordan rushing the passer on third down or obvious passing downs but odrick at de to stop the run

Fin4,

You were there, so you can probably help.

Devlin had slightly better numbers than Moore. But stats don't always tell the story. Playing with back ups, limited reps, etc, etc.

In your opinion, who looked better out of Devlin and Moore.........?

F4L,

Thanks for the Insight on the O-Line.

You know if I kept pointing out something last season other than Dansby sucking was how Slow and Fat our Guards Played.

Jerry and Cogs Can't Pull, Don't Hit The 2nd Level, And Got Beaten A lot In Passing Situations.

The Main Reason I want to see the young guys play. D.Thomas and Samunda are way more Athletic. They also look like smarter players. Jerry and Cogs make a lot of Mental Mistakes.

Sherman loves throwing Screens, That is a big part of a Sherman Offense. I can see D.Thomas and Samunda leading L.Miller on a Screen. Ben and Jerry, Not so much.

Alot of the work with the starters was in redzone situation(don't have to tell anybody what an issue that's been forever and a day) Tannehill looked efficient in 2 T.E. set (Egnew looked terrible and missed a block that could have sprung Miller) The RB who looked the best in the simulatd scenario was Daniel Thomas in all honesty but the work was done mainly through the air and believe that's the way Philbin wanted it by the D we were in as well.
