Dolphins beat Colts, 24-20 to stay unbeaten

INDIANAPOLIS -- This is what fine teams do. This is how good teams close.

The Dolphins and Colts engaged in an wildly entertaining and close game. And it came down to the final minute. And the Dolphins emerged victorious, 24-20, to improve their record to 2-0.

Feels good, right?

The Dolphins did it on the road. They did it in keeping Andrew Luck from authoring one of his trademark comebacks.

They did it throwing the ball to Mike Wallace and Charles Clay and showing just enough of a running game to make the offense balanced.

If so, apologies here.

Falcons got pretty beat up today, and their OL isn't looking good ... we may have a good shot at 3-0.

Come on now Kris, everyone knows the Marine Corp is a department of the Navy......the mens department. LOL

Semper Fi to you brother!

Well, the worst we could be now is 2-14.

Look I'm the phins biggest critic and yes I'm very hard on Sherman predictable play calling. But they can do better at utilizing their playmakers. But great game by Thill and the RB Clay can't
criticize a win that's right but people have the right to voice their opinion we pay to state our opinions on this great blog, I'm a Phins fan till the day I die even on the other side I will be a fan, but I will make negative opinions but its facts though, Sherman is not very good coordinator at times he makes poor a s s play calls in certain situation that are head scratchers. Cline Dion Jordan hasn't played like a #3 first round pick, I would like to give JI credit but he is not a nice person needs to earn respect players don't like him or Philbin its true guys I know some guys didn't like Shula but he got out their best protential out if his players I haven't seen that yet out of this coaching staff but great win much respect to the dolphin players they showed heart..Go Phins

Brother's in arms...

Mark in Toronto,

I see Candians still haven't learned how to count. We didn't win the turnover battle.

Canadiens trying to talk Miami football? Hilarious

How anyone can join the armed services is beyond me. You are not serving your country. You are serving evil corporations, nothing more. Not since WWII has a solider served this country.

Looks like I'm whopping Dashi in FF with T Pryor as my QB lmao

The Iraq war was nothing more than making all of Iraqs oil contracts null and void so Haliburton could take them over. Legally they should have had to big the projects, but under the Bush Admistration, legal matters were of no concern.

Take a look and you'll see Haliburtons stock doubled in price because of the war. Cheney who was Haliburtons ex CEO, was loaded with stock options.

So, we killed a bunch of innocent Iraqi's so Cheney could continue eating Filet Mignon.

Mark in Toronto,

Is it true all Canadians are cowards like the French?

Unlike many of you, i never lost faith in this team's ability and its progression toward good-to-very-good-team-status.

I know this may sound petty, but I was expecting more of you to mention how spot-on my analysis has been the past few weeks. That's okay, as the Team winning is more important than my prescient evaluation of what we're doing right - - and better - - as time goes on.

Solai is out for the year..

Change names all you want FIRE ROSS. Your tomfoolery stands out due to your ignorance. When you can distinguish between armed forces then you may approach us for reasonable discussion. I'll patiently wait....

Mando,

Please do something about these stupid trolls spreading disinformation, using other people's sign-in names, and generally being a pain! You said you'd start banning folks...so, do it! Please! This blog could be awesome, but for the trolls...

4 consecutive losing seasons breeds trolls. If the Fins have 4 consecutive winning seasons the trolls will become homers.

Daytona...

You reek of desperation.....

Your act really is on its last legs....

I take pleasure in KNOWING i was part of the solution that took away one of your greatest pleasure's in life....annoying the crap out random people....

We all know its you DAYTONA...so nobody really cares anymore...you are just the ramblings of an old man....well past his prime...

and soon....you won't even have this...

:)

Lots of jet scum here than usual. What's the matter, can't find you're way back to that sewer in NJ? did your jet planes go into a nose dive? LMAO

Here is a Tweet from Omar Kelly;

"Paul Soliai says he's fine. Walked without a limp. Doesn't appear to be a major knee injury."

Fortunately, this blog is not the only means of information, and the trolls can't fool anyone.

Kris, it is obvious you spend too much time with the undereducated and lower class idiots that join the services.

I understand your dilemma. It is hard to have pride in serving when it is so obvious you are assisting cold and cruel businessman murder innocent people in the name of profits.

There can be no denying.

I WISH WE STILL HAD CHAD HENNE.

TRUE WINNER.

NEVER GIVEN A CHANCE HERE.

Kris,

Only someone as utterly dumb as you could not see there are multiple people here that you don't like. You should think about spending your time on facebook with your few dollboys here.

Hey Armando,

I thought YG was gone. How come he's still around posting under multiple names and generally being a pain in the behind. I thought we were one with this character?

More jet scum

Sorry @ 7:19...

were not debating...

that is the ULTIMATE exercise in futility....

we ALL know who you are...

and I take VICTORY in that...

enjoy posting @ me....cause you sure as heck won't be posting to me....

Aren't the NJ sewers full yet? Apparently not from the overflow I see here

Walt - no problem banning idiot, disrespectful, vulgar posters with nothing to add. Many forums bad those types, and they are better for it. This is the US of A - you can ban morons from your rum, just as they are allowed to spout BS.

Anyway enough with that, great win today. Thought we may see a blowout early, but i'll take the win over Luck any day. And i do see a bias. CBS had Luck highlight reels going all game, not much for Tannehill who played equally well if not better. Props to Wallace and clay for good games. Miller stepped up too. Grimes looks great. He gave up a long one, but he's ALWAYS going for the ball, which is why he gave up that long one. Last year smith was roaming around aimlessly so i'll take it. Oh yeah - hey JORDAN!! Tackle the damn QB!! You won't make that mistake again i hope!

Sorry @ 7:19...

I see, you are responding but not debating. LOL. How convenent.

I'm sorry that you are sorry, but you are ;)

lol @ 7:24...

Good to see a post from a FAN....

^^^ excuse my typos .. *ban *forum

Hahahahhahahhahah you idiot ........great win for our dolphins today keep up the great work, enough with the New Jersey jokes

Kris's definition of a fan?

The only two dollboys that frequently agree with him.

Even though it's trolls having fun even the thought of a Soliai injury makes it pretty evident to this fan that Ireland needs to quit screwing around and get Soliai and Stark's contracts extended.

They are a strength on this D and team leaders.

I also am not a fan of Odrick starting over Starks. We are 2-0 though so I'll hush and let Philbin run the team.

Kris responds to me by saying his victory is not debating me. LOL.

Ok. Sure. Right. Got it.

I must agree with that other poster who always says that Kris (Kry) is by far the dumbest blogger here.

He really is. Really.

Dolfan Rick,

I think the D line is better with Starks than with Odrick, and Starks should start. He did a good job taking Soliai's spot when he went out. As Starks has said, "This is my punishment."

CHAD HENNE PUT UP 92 RATING IN LOSS TO OAKLAND

The only player on Jags that didn't embarass himself.

Thank you for your service Woodshed

Daytona you don't debate people. You spout whatever you think is right people always prove you wrong. You then duck, back track, try to change the subject or just dive straight into insults. The saddest part is when you log in under different names to agree with yourself, I mean seriously who does that?

Great Game, Great Win!!!!

Had to catch the crumbs they were dropping on The Red Zone channel...

At least my boys and I got to watch the final defensive stand by the Phins.

Kris has now told me 101 times he won't be responding to me anymore. LOL.

Dumber than dumb for sure. That guy has fertilizer for brans. Maybe.

Pizza time. Enjoy the victory all, as I am. Great game, great win.

Where are the headlines deeming Tannehill the second coming???

If Luck had won the press would have given him all the credit. The analysts on fins.com are giving game balls to Clay and Grimes and Wallace.

He got beat up again behind a subpar OL and all he did was throw for 319 yards. Again he hands the ball off on a first down one yard run. No padding stats.

Boomer Esiason actually said he was disappointed his man Luck didn't get another 4th quarter comeback.

Where does this end???

The talking heads having bias is nothing new. We go 4-0 and it'll be "my man Tannehill".

The Solai thing very possibly could've been overblown by the team during the game as a ploy. I mean he may have been bumped and felt it but it's very possible he was the designated dive man. We didn't need him anyway because the Colts were passing and we're stacked on the line (Odrick is also the DT in most passing situations). What the team DID need was to get a rest and regroup. The Colts weren't letting us make substitutions because of the hurry up so Paul stays down while the D gets a rest and brings their subs in. It happens all of the time so I wouldn't be surprised.

Madison,

I don't believe in organized religion nor am I a member of the republican or Democratic Party. I joined the Marine Corps because I always felt it would be fun to kill a bunch of radical religious idealist who think that the everyone should believe exactly as they do. You know what? It was pretty fun, especially the free college education and employment opportunities that followed.

Yes Madison, I've seen the last bit of life in a terrorist's eyes and then took it away with a smile. May I ask what you have done to make our world better in the last 10 years?

dbmfins,

I think Odrick may be better than Vernon at DE as well or maybe its about even but Odrick is better at setting the edge and stoping the run.

I hope what it will eventually be is Starks at DT and the rookie Jordan at DE with Vernon and Odrick in the rotation.

Amazing that you continue to let this bozo ruin it or everyone on here, Armando. The Dolphins win a game that 'sets the tone or the season' and instead we've got to deal with this guy and his muliple names and his cracks about 'Philbin's dead son'. I thought this was the type of filth we were getting rid of on here? The guy's ruining it for everyone,

Well, here in Vegas I got them at 80-1 three months ago...Looks like a good stock! Currently they are at 25-1, and by Tuesday probably at 14-1...Go my beloved Dolphins, I've been with you since 1970

An interesting thought. I would like to see a similar package. I would replace Misi with Jordan to create confusion and mismatches though.

Woodshit,

Thanks for comfirming beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are a sick and delusional person. You talk about killing a terrorist but you avoid all mention of the thousands of totally innocent women, children and civilians in general that were fine people living a good life until we killed them in the name of corporate profits.

I see the military has done a fine job of brain washing youi. I suggest you see the original Manchurian Candidate. Good flick

Woodshed is that douche still ragging on people that serve? You know I don't always agree with why soldiers are sent to fight. That said, people who put there life on the line for others deserve that I respect their choice to do it. Trying to claim moral superiority over people willing to die for you and your rights is lower than low in my books.

13-3

;)

I'll take the win, but having only 1 draft pick starting and that being a kicker doesn't bode well for this team moving forward. Fingers crossed that Jordan will pan out. Ireland? Ugh

Amazing that you continue to let this bozo ruin it or everyone on here, Armando.

Has it ever occurred to your tiny frozen pea brain that you and your constant name calling and moronic posts in general are ruining for others? How many times have you called others Moron? A million. And what are you?
