Dolphins beat Colts, 24-20 to stay unbeaten

INDIANAPOLIS -- This is what fine teams do. This is how good teams close.

The Dolphins and Colts engaged in an wildly entertaining and close game. And it came down to the final minute. And the Dolphins emerged victorious, 24-20, to improve their record to 2-0.

Feels good, right?

The Dolphins did it on the road. They did it in keeping Andrew Luck from authoring one of his trademark comebacks.

They did it throwing the ball to Mike Wallace and Charles Clay and showing just enough of a running game to make the offense balanced.

Why does Daniel Thomas keep getting carries ....Is he dating Shermans Daugher??

Wake up buddy. People that serve are not serving the nation. They are seving big business. Nothing more. Every war since WWII has been nothing but a facade for corporate profits. WMD? Terrorism? Propaganda. We are the #1 terrorists in the world by our own definition. None of you give a hoot how many innocent people die by our drones and bombs, you only cite the few guilty of the many innocent. Inexcusable and immoral.

If you haven't figured this out yet, then you are among the 92% totally clueless and naive population. Congrats.

The bozo isn't ruining it for everybody on here...

Some of us seem to be pretty adept at ignoring, and not so bent on complaining and drawing constant attention to the bozo...

Not an attack, just sayin.

Don't believe me. Fine. Believe Bob Woodward maybe?

Pulitzer Prize winning journalist that broke the Watergate case also exposed the phony wars of previous administrations. You won't see it on Fox or CNN. You ignornant fools need to learn how to read books, the last refuse of freedom of speech where adverstisers don't control the content.

Iraq had nothing to do with 911, yet we killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people there and overthrew their government. And you wonder why we are despised abroad? How would you feel if we were the victims of the same thing? Not good.

Woodshed, this is all you need to say to Daytona;

"You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties you want me on that wall, you need me on that wall. We use words like honor, code, loyalty. We use then as the backbone of a life trying to defend something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you," and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest that you pick up a weapon and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to."

You are quite welcome sir! As a front line Marine combat engineer, I had a lot of time to state death in the face. It can become quite a zen like experience, trust me on this.

The only thing that gave me more satisfaction than killing terrorist on my own was saving fellow Marines. My hope is that every Marine I have ever saved went back to business and killed another terrorist.
For those that have studied the multiplier effect in econimics, you will understand why I felt my efforts were just.

As far as children and women go, I never met a kid a didn't give candy or a woemn I didnt carry groceries for. I live my life by a very strict moral code. It would be hard to explain that to you FIRE ROSS. Oops, I meant to say Madison, my bad. LOL

If Kris is an example of those serving to protect us, THEN WE ARE IN TROUBLE.

I agree he is a seriously brain dead individual.

Our lack of talent in drafts will be our downfall.

Those who add silly acronyms like LOL to there posts really have no confidence in what they are saying. They are telling a bad joke and trying to add laugh tracks to make it funny.

Hey Daytona, so when I said douche you automatically thought of yourself, that's telling.

Thanks for letting us know that Pavlov. LOL. You are so wise in the ways of blog communication. I bow before your almighty knowledge. LMFAO!!!!

Whoth is Daytona. I don't see his nick around here.

Woodshed, you killing terroriss does not justify even a little that the majority of who we kill are perfectly innocent civilians.

If 4 Americans die in an Embassy attack, it is all over the news for weeks. But the drone attacks that daily kill innocent women and children and families, don't ever make the back page.

Hiding from reality, hiding behind the flag, is just as sick as the religous fanatics you are fighting.

You are all equally stupid and in major denial.

And those that post under many names have zero faith in their own opinions, and zero integrity. Man up for God's sake and use one name and face the music. God you're gutless.

I, like dashe, always use one name.

There can't be a better FA pick up than Ireland's one of Grimes. You were kidding around with this but Ireland is well on his way to being GM of the year.

Coach Philbin, I just read a remark about some idiot saying things about your son, I hope and pray you and yours are well. Great job and I niticed the media gives us NO LOVE.... thats ok you just keep getting the team ready and when they want face time with you.... never mind you are too classy for that stuff!! Ryan and co. just keep finding a way, BIG D!!!! Ohhhh yeahhhhhh!!! LOVE MY PHINS!!!! God bless you all!!

These two road wins are huge. If we can go 8-0 or 7-1 at home this could be a huge year for the Dolphins. 7-1 or 8-0 gets us to 9 or 10 wins and we have very winnable road games. I believe that we can win at the Bucs, Jets, Bills, and Steelers. If we can stay healthy the fins can win 11 or 12 games.

Whatth kind of name is fukkking Daytona. Is it a man or a woman?

Mike, you've been posting nothing but smack for months. Do you think anyone buys your fake sympathetic post?

Great game today. Lots of work to do if we want to win in the playoffs.

1. Grimes is a badass
2. Miller will be really good if he gets a few more holes. Love his patience and exposive factor.
3. Tanney has the "it" factor

1. O-Line: Bigger holes, more time for Tanney
2. Secondary: Cover the TE's, get healthy

Cleanup the negatives, and we have ourselves a contender.

I came on the blog right after the game to revel in victory with the other diehard's who've been waiting to field a contender but exited almost as soon as I arrived to watch the Manning Bowl because felt the site HIJACKED!!

My definition of HIJACKING the site consist of taking the MAIN TOPIC which is Dolphins Football and swaying it so off topic it becomes an incoherent mess moving the conversation to personal attacks on ones beliefs, family and heritage which pushes the envelope, takes everybody to the edge were it devolves to the point that you wonder/hope that nobody is truly paying attention to what some of you are saying in terms of attacks on this Country or about 9/11 being an inside job, Jewish conspiracy ect...

As a full fledged memeber of this blog I KNOW it simply borders on the IDIOTIC (as were all being HIJAKED by an IDIOT) but to somebody browsing it may seem Offensive ramblings of some zealot. Funny thing is this HIJAKER loves to make reference about politicians loving our supposed NAIVE beliefs but wonder how much the FBI would LOVE YOU?

It may escape you that after Sept/11/2001 the Patriot Act become Federal, Legislative and most importantly Judicial rule of law! So we really don't just have to stand for your very Anti-American B.S.! From were I sit your stupidity isn't just that (I can deal with stupid) but bordering on the down right CRIMINAL! I have in the course of my life encountered many a sad sack of a person but your the very text book definition!

fin4life he has ASPD it's clear as day. Sad sucker has no clue how pathetic he is.

Cool it, f4l, he's just a troll for Armando. When we serious posters come here, he disappears.

Oscar, your posts are as random as they get.

oscar how many names do you actually post under? I doubt you are Daytona because he once claimed you and I were the same person, and it's pretty obvious we're not.

I'm just curious about that?

Dion Jordan cannot be so cautious. If the QB still has the ball in his hand, you hit him, hard.

Oscar, your posts are as random as they get.

You are severely disillusioned and don't even realize the Patriot Act is unconsitutional. Just one of the many laws the Bush Admisistration broke.

Nothing offensive here. Try to open your mind and not hide behind the red white and blue. Do some of your own homework. By OUR own definition of terrorism, we are the biggest terrorists on Earth. That is an undeniable fact. You wonder why we are not popular when we are all over the world imposing our will with violence all for nothing but corporate profits? It's ugly and criminal. We here about our people getting killed. We don't here about all of our 'oops' missions where we have killed now thousands of innocent people. Look now at Syria, why do WE have to be the enforcer? Obviously, more pipleine gains.

If you can't see that you are either dumb or in denial or both.

Do your own homework and forget the nonsense propaganda your wonderful government feeds you. Can you?

He's afraid of me because he knows I can have him BActed. More now that we know his true name. Daytona. heheheh

Clabo sukked today. Of course, he was going vs Mathis and with no help. Still, no excuse for him.

The Patriot Act is a constiutional crime.

This Nations 4-Fathers couldn't have foreseen the tech. explosion. So while I may not agree with the Patriot Act in principle I have slowly but surely seen it's need in the World were shaping.

Hey, Daytona, how's the Beach?

Let me recite to you some Benjamin Franklin:

"Those that sacrifce freedom for security deserve neither"

Look it up. Sorry bro, I respect his philosophy far more than yours.

You obviously know nothing about our forefathers beliefs.

The problem with most of you fools is that you are severly undereducated and don't read anything beyond nonsense website snippets.

Tannehill just keeps winning and winning, nothing spectacular, and getting better.

So far, Shermans prediction is becoming validated. Tannehill looks like the most improved QB this season.

I'm curious to hear what your educational background might be. A degree in Google "I feel lucky"?

Miami is terrible, they'll start 0-5....... WRONG!!!
Andrew Luck is a real QB, RT can't win......WRONG!!!
Miami and Wallace will get in sync..........WRONG!!!
Our D-secondary can't stop Luck.............WRONG!!!
Miami will be lucky to win 5 games..........WRONG!!!
(unless you think they can't win 3 more)...PfffffffT

Keep on hating... PLEASE!

It seems to be working well ya bunch a Douches...
(you know who you are)

Do your own homework and forget the nonsense propaganda your wonderful government feeds you. Can you?

I'm educated enough to see and read (can also walk and chew gum at the same time) and comprehend that what you accuse this Country of is simply rule of law in the new World we live in or would you rather have the Chinese impose International Policy or the Russians for that matter (no longer saddled with Eastern Europe) and there vast Oil reserves in the Caucasus which they've quietly stopped pipe-lining while throwing there hat back in the ring were it relates to Nation building/influencing regions . I know for a simpleton who probably spends little time outside the confines of his community you find reason in your rather simple interpretation of our Foreign Policy but I live in the real World and am on our side!

Where is that e-Talian that was here earlier, Mike Parsley or something. Hey, man, your emigration is crap compared to the one of Us Cubans and Jews.

Although less and less, in General, our OLine sukks.

Bush already needs an MRI on his knee...I said week 4...I was off 2 weeks...the run game hasn't looked great for the fins...but do we miss Bush??? Nope...

"Those that sacrifce freedom for security deserve neither"

Thomas Jefferson also had a saying about executing traitors on the White House lawn! Listen save the History lesson because again I'm educated enough to know it's open to interpretation. We can sit here all night (and by the way you hear something not here it) and pervert/distort what they actually meant but at the end of the day it's just your interpretation!

I wanna be like Mike. Forgot about him. He got a pretty good Game although he fukkked up a couple of times.

Most everyone fkked up on one play or another oscar... The D was flat as heck for most of the game IMO... But we got the win and that's what the good TEAMS do...get the win...

Folks, I am aware of the problem with the insults and trolling and so forth. It is not anyone who's already been banned. It is someone who is spending his final night on the blog.

Got that blank@blank? Your last night on the blog.

We could always bet better, Daniels! Don't you think?

Dropping the hammer...KaPOW!!!

It is all about perfect execution, all Game long...

Got that blank@blank? Your last night on the blog.

Make no mistake, I've been around and about.

Posted by: Frijole Livre | September 15, 2013 at 08:58 PM

Whatever man!

Without a doubt Oscar...we are far from where we "need" to be...IMO if the D played like they talked all week...and the offense didn't have a patented Dolphins slump...we could have won easily...instead of the panic they put me through on a weekly basis...

I hope i am not setting myself up for failure....but I think I actually believe you....

This is inhuman!, cried Jim Langer, after he had 2 SB rings on his fingers.

Great game. Their offensive line defended Luck far better than I expected but the offense rose to the occasion. Tannehill did well and just keeps improving. Love that his QBR exceeded Luck hugely. The fact that the wrap up media showed almost all the plays of Luck and none of Tannehills longer throws just reflects the tendency of the media to shape what they report to support their pre-existing assumptions.

Bottom line - Great win by an emerging serious team. Go Phins!!!!

The D tightened up when they had to...and that was enough today...but man I thought they looked pretty bad for most of the game...

carrol and wilson did a servicable job but i really hope patterson is back next week. tannehill had one of his best game.

i'd like to see 2 things change. one, especially if the run is working, use it more!! and 2, use the up tempo more at times.

jordan learned a lesson today. when you get to the QB bury him. but the rook looks good out there. when he drops he really shuts down an area and he can get to the QB. i hope they start increasing his play time. vernon does great holding the edge but his pass rush abilty is almost nonexistent.

it's the same haters who said all 3 of these things. i hope they show class and admit they were wrong.

i'd take Henne over tannehill anyway.
we should cut or try to trade clay.
we should cut or ry to trade thomas.

wrong, wrong and pretty much wrong!!

True enough, Jack! The people want to hear about Luck, and not Tannehill. In order for Them to notice you, you have to get into their Imagination.

Maybe there should be a clear list of rules that actually get enforced.

I mean, if regulars can endlessly post about sucking and swallowing, well..it becomes difficult to know what exactly is off limits.
