Disappointing, heartbreaking loss for the Dolphins (again)

This one hurts. No, really.

The Dolphins led this game 16-3 at halftime. Even that was somethinng of a disaster because they gave up a late field goal to end the half when they played coverage at the goal line, apparently not realizing Carolina could move for a field goal with two seconds remaining.

Anyway, despite that lead, the Dolphins collapsed in the second half.

They didn't score a point in the half.

They gave up two touchdowns, including a two-yard TD pass from Cam Newton tight end Greg Olsen with 43 second left to play.

Panthers 20.

Dolphins 16.

Dolphins fans have seen this before. Miami led New England 17-3 last month and lost.

2011 6-10?

You have a cat, also?

M. Oscar Canosa--

You WILL care about bees when you are enslaved by them.

I think they are laughing at you my friend.

You are all over the place tonight, with Reggie Bush and his stats.

Now you are trying to rope in your mates comments too.

I don't care, I've come across Henne, Beck, Sporano, Pat White et al.

You all are the worst kind of Americans to be honest, those whom refuse to accept the facts and live your life in denial.

I call it as I see it matey boy !!!

Keep the insults coming please, trhey make the Pats whipping the Broncos less painful.

Tom Brady is Peyton Manning's DADDY!

The amazing thing about today is that Miami wins if Wallace holds on to the ball at the end. Amazing. And of course, he doesn't.

Yeah started 0-7, finished 6-3 in 2011.

Yes, my cat speaks English and some Korean.

lol marco told u im not falling for it anymore

where you guys Cam Cameron fans by any chance ?

franchise 100 percent false, wallace wasnt in end zone time runs out if he catches it

They sure have an advantage in that Denver altitude. Not here, apparently,

Brady has beaten Manning 9 out of 13 times.

10 out of 14 now

I was once stung by a bee, It died soon after.

You should be focused on your future role as a Slave to Bees. All of us are facing this reality.

I shall accept the inevitability of the situation and serve them to my best ability. Resisting them will be futile. You should be planning for this now and stop worrying about football or vampires.

(In case you are worrying about vampires)

Marco you just explained how coaching can influence the game to an amazing degree. Some people think it is only up to the players on your roster. It's a combination of both.

cam lost me his first game in first half when he passed on points and went for it from 4 yard line on last play of half trent green

dusty bottoms = Board Moron

For Miami to be 7-9 they will have to when two more games. Which ones?

Won't beat Pats, won't be Pitt, couldn't beat Buffalo at home much less in Buffalo, and won't sweep Jets. I see one more win at best, one of the two JET games.

And when this begins you know the blog is back in the toilet.

31-0 half by pats vs denver. insane

It's not the Coaches, man, it's the Players. You get great Players, you don't have to coach them, they coach You.

Agree w/oscar The players stink.

what was manning doing with that throw, made no sense

Given enough time Bellichik eventually puts a hitch in almost every offense's giddiyup. Even Manning tonight.

manning bothered big time by cold

Imagine if the dolphins actually "HAD" some of the 'character' that fillbean is CONSTANTLY, CONSTANTLY being attributed to having?

Philbin might be a Walker.

Manning, 115yd thus far.

hes looked awful tonight

Manning hasn't had 115yds passing since peewee league football.

So Dumb

this will be a cake walk for brady denvers d is done

Helluva a team.

denver woke up a little too late should of been throwing all game

Beat The Falcons, helluva team.

Ok a win would have been nice of course, we bleed aqua folks so winning is always the best thing BUT it is painfully obvious the people in charge of leading this team, whether is the front office and especially the coaching staff, is just simply not up to the task and not deserving to keep their jobs.

This game was lost at the end of the first half. Giving Carolina that gift changed everything, simply inexcusable and it was all on the coaching staff. On paper you can argue we had the better team and BTW I do not think Carolina coaching-wise had a good game either, it is just that our coaches are so bad that the Panthers came out on top when they tried their best to give the game to us.

In no other sport is coaching this vital. Take Denver tonight, Jack del Rio should never get another head coaching gig anytime soon. He played safe and got burnt. How do you lose a 24-0 lead with Manning ad your QB. Same John Fox school of losing, and the main reason Denver will not win a SB with them at the helm.

We need Patriots people in our organization folks. We need that attitude. We need people that has an eye for talent. Their 3rd pick Logan Ryan is head and shoulders better than any pick we had in out entire draft, and yes I'm counting bust D. Jordan, who lets make no mistake he IS a bust for a team that traded up that high for him. In fact Ireland did not have to trade up to land Kiko Alonso and make the D better. Or could have picked OL Lane Johnson who is doing a fine job in Philly protecting a QB in Foles who today is ahead of Tannehill.

But I digress. It is still about the coaching. Isn't it nice that we did not even mention the whole Martin fiasco so far this weekend, you know why? Because we can now see clearly that this inept coaching staff is among many reasons THE main reason of this wasted year.

Mr. Ross you need to fire everybody, luckily I think there is enough talent in this team to avoid the dreaded full rebuilding. Either bring someone like Pioli or Dungy. Pioli would bring McDaniels who does have previous HC experience, and Dungy would call L Smith. Either choice would be a fine one.

Belichick lays low in the First Half. Then he delivers in the 2nd half according to what he saw in the 1st.

Someone needs to smuggle a Belicheat 1/2 time speech to Philbin, so he can LEARN how to motivate a team at the break.

Philbin will never beat Belichick.

0-4 after this year.

0-6 should he survive next year.

The former Green Bay game planning assistant can't play chess with Belichick.

Grandpa Philby is simply over matched.

surprised he didnt go for it again there

One hell of a Game.

beautiful move by bellicheat, didnt take ball took wind

Philbin aka Coker aka Crypt Keeper aka Stuie from Family Guy aka John Clayton aka Dr Jack Ramsey aka Charlie Brown needs to pack his non adjustment making self and Gtfoh! Disrespecting the legend Shula. Bring Mike Shula in as OC or HC!

Neither Lamar Miller or D Thomas is a worthy starting RB. Philbin and Ireland need to go!

So for those who think coaching is not that important, do you really think Belichick would not have this team better prepared?

Seriously. I thought we would be blown out. Sturgis is a fail. Officiating, again, cost us probably 7. Wallace dropped the winning td pass. Offensive line can't.run block leaving us one dimensional. 16 points won't. Win anyone too many games in the NFL. I think we played as well as this problematic team can play.

With the Players we have, he might win 2 more Games than Philbin, at best.

The long pass plays were better, but still not good enough. Worst running game in NFL. I thought it was rediculous the way the clock was handled at end of game and Coyles should be fired tomorrow for being content to give up an easy field goal cause he's scared of a field goal. Did he not see the time left?

I am planning a joyful experience with vinegar.

Part of the reason the running game sux is that way Sherman call the run is way too predictable, from his timing to the actual formation. If us fans can call them the opponent's coaching staff must be laughing.

Daniel Thomas should not be fed the ball that much, everyone knows that except our lousy coaching staff and front office. Anyone knows where's Jonas Gray?

I agree however; the way the end of the half was handled is grounds for firing. We play not to lose, see how that worked for Denver tonight. Same with us no killer instinct, Wallace is right about that.

If I ever had any doubt this coaching staff was clueless and inept, those doubts were confirmed with today's game. To give a gift FG at the end of the half when your defense is getting it done, is just inexcusable. That series and the 4th and 10 crushes what was a solid day for the defense. With the offense. No running game and RT deep ball accuracy continues to plague this team and leads to frustrating defeats. If today's game isn't a blueprint on getting a staff fired then nothing is. I gave this staff the benifit when it was pieced together but it's not getting it done. Changes need to occur. We need a staff with a killer instinct and willing to gamble to be great. That's what makes teams into champions

Yes, I'm still upset with how the coaches missed those tackles on that 4th and ten. You'd think they were standing on the sidelines or something.

Could anyone please explain to me why Philbin called 3 time outs while the Panthers were driving at the end of the game? Therefore allowing them to take their time, call all their best plays and be better rested at the end of the drive. That final TD is on Philbin! When will we smarten up and realize this guy is not head coach material.
