Mike Pouncey back with the Dolphins

Mike Pouncey left the team last Thursday when he became ill with a mysterious condition trainers could not immediately identify. He spent the next five days in the hospital.

Well, he's baaaaack.

Pouncey was on the practice field and stretching with teammates today. No, he's not practicing. Today will be more about conditioning for the Dolphins center. His status for Sunday remain uncertain.

But the fact Pouncey is back is a big plus for the team and certainly is a lift for the offensive line. Pouncey, by the way, is back in time for his interview with NFL investigator Ted Wells, who will talk to him before departing South Florida.

Cornerback Dimitri Patterson was also present at practice and participated at least on a limited basis during the time open to the media.

dashi whats ur point to that, u said he took over a vet playoff team

dashi they had 2 pro bowlers on d that year

I was at the San Diego game and I dont know what the paid attendance was but there werent 30,000 in actual attendance. It was empty.

All right...choke um down you turkeys. You guys want me go factual on your non sense spewing selves? LOL...the facts. The are very comparable stats.

Brady 2,552 yds 58.7 comp % 14 TD 7 INT 83.6 rating

T-Hill 2,474 61.2 comp % 14 TD 11 INT 81.5 rating

You either need an elite defense and good QB to win or aan elite QB and a good defense to win a SB

Todays NFL you need a top 10 QB to even have a chance.

Brady in his day was HOF for sure. This year T-hill and Brady have simmilar stats. There is some decline for sure.

6 games for T-hill to step it up and get us in.

i didnt think so vegas

Tanny > Brady

Pre K is out.
Probably an explanation for all the idiotic comments on this blog.

clee is flacco a top 10 qb?

clee is kaep a top 10 qb?

Yea, I was sitting there in the Stadium. It's a72,000 seat stadium. I guessed about 62,000 were there. The outer parking lot was totally filled so I believe the numbers.

Dashi,

Wow we agreed about Jordan's ability to catch Newton this Sunday. I hope to see this game time.

I doubt philbin and Coyle will play him that much. He is being under used. This D line rotation doesn't work too well eh ?

so bobby says 62 and vegas mike says 30,lol one of u was really drunk and seeing double

marco we can put wallace in also on d and he can catch newton. takes a lot more than just speed to stop newton

Here you go trolls and pretend fans eat some more dirt. Don't ever tell me they are the same QB or he's better than T-hill. LIES.

Henne 1,889 yds 4 TD's and 11 INTS rating 72.2

we agree on that henne by far one of the worst qbs in nfl

Dusty,

He was last year in that offense and the defense was elite. Granted a power running game helped him.

Flacco and Kap steped up in the big games.

I think T-hill could be like either except we don't have SF or Balt defense. Cant throw us on his back and win a game.....yet.

Imagine what we T-hill can do with a decent line that could give him a real pocket to pass from? People we have our Franchise QB. You guys are just too thick headed to see it and would rather whine incessantly about how he misses deep passes.

Dusty

Flacco was top 12 last year but stepped it up in playoffs.

ok clee so qbs who arent top 10 can step up. so dont have to have top 10

NO in Bradys second year as a starter he won the SB and had 28tds and 14 picks. He fumbled and lost the ball 5 times.

Thill has a TD turnover balance over his two years off -7. Thats poor.

But yeah he is a good QB guys, yes yes. Thill Forward Fast sure.

Dusty,

Come on now. Jordan plays D and has the size and speed to match his.

Im afraid of what Newton will do to us and I feel Jordan isn't getting his chances. Who the hell is the stopping Newton ? it isn't the current LB's or safeties we have.

Wallace on D, nah, maybe PR duties.

Dusty--fair enough top 15 QB then-- but the norm is a Brady, Manning and Breese.

With a great defense, Eli, Flacco and very rare (Dilfer) can get it done.

I am with you. T-hill has upside, but going no where with him untill our defense is top 5.

my point is marco jordan isnt gonna stop him

Who will need Dusty. Why do you count Jordan out from being used in a 'spy' role ?

We spent a 3rd on this guy, give him his reps. The other LB's on this team are playing so badly. As it stands we lose against the Panthers, if we play like we have on D the past few games.

i agree marco, play him and the corners we drafted, etc. season is over so play the young guys and see what we have before new gm comes in

Yeah Dusty yeah !!!

I can't believe Nolan Carroll is still on the roster. We dunk Sean Smith and Vontae and keep Carroll ?

The money we spent on Patterson was a joke too. The reason so many gave up on him was his durability.

This regime held so many players back to give the vets time when given the chance the young guns have been great.

Matthews, Clay, Brenner and Garner.

NOT ONLY WILL THE DOLPHINS WIN SUNDAY BUT THEY WILL SCORE THE MOST POINTS IN A GAME THIS YEAR(34) THIS WILL BE DUE TO A PICK SIX AND TANNEHILL THROWING 3 TDS(WALLACE 2 AND MATTHEWS 1 AND STUGIS WITH 2 FGS 46 AND 35YDS) CAROLINA SCORES 17 WITH CAM THROWING 3 INTS 1 TD 1 RUSHING) HE WILL BE SACKED 4 TIMES. TANNEHILL WILL BE SACKED 5 TIMES BUT STILL MANAGES TO MOVE THE BALL BECAUSE THOMAS/MILLER WILL COMBINE FOR OVER 150 YARDS. WALLACE FINALLY HAS BREAK OUT GAME WITH OVER 100 YARDS AND 2 TDS ON 7 REC. BOTH TDS OVER 40 YARDS.. AND YES I'M OFF WORK AND JUST FINISHED A 12 PACK ALONE !! GO FINS!!

Greg. Glad my comment amused you but facts are facts. I was referencing the guys on offense he has played with his entire career. Troy Brown, Antwan Smith, Jermaine Wiggins, Deion Branch, to name a few. I made the point earlier that in 2007 Brady had great talent around him but for the majority of his career the names i gave have been his core talent or lack there of. Bottom line is that Tannehill will never have the success of a Brady as tannehill doesnt possess the pocket presence or reads defenses the way Brady can. Agreed that coaching is a huge difference and the pats have a HOF coach and we have one whos visited the HOF
