Miami Dolphins defeat Patriots, 24-20

Well, the dynasty isn't exactly dead ... But the Dolphins put a significant dent in the New England Patriots armor this afternoon.

Dolphins 24. Patriots 20.

It ended when Michael Thomas, signed last week, intercepted Tom Brady on fourth down with mere seconds to play. The Patriots in typical fashion had driven from their own 20 to inside the Dolphins red zone.

Ryan Tannehill, meanwhile, outdueled Tom Brady. He engineered the drive for the go ahead points. He hit the go-ahead TD. He finished the day 25 of 37 for 312 yards with three TDs and no interception. Tannehill's rating was 120.7.

Yes, this is the Dolphins biggest win under Joe Philbin.

I was wondering if we would hear from Thelonious tonight.

LOL @ Marco!

Everytime we win, Armando's idiot, Tard Troll comes on here and down plays it. Talks about the level of competition, etc, etc.

Well, I for one would just LOVE to here what the Fvck Stick has to say about us RUBBING Tom Brady's nose in it-LOL!

Huh......? What........?

Oh, he's posting under was of his more common NAMES as a Pro Dolphin Fan?

(Big Sigh).......it figures.......ROTFLMAO!

We ALMOST put a smack down on the in the 1st game. This one was more like it ;) Anyone realize how close we were to **SWEEPING** the washed up patriots?

I hope we can make the playoffs, if for no other reason than to knock Brady and the rest of the cheaters out of them! Bellicheat and Brady cheat, the refs cheat for them, the O-Lineman cheat and hold as do the defenders.

Us......? We just Win Baby!!!!

Looks like the game is goin our way so far..

I can save you TONS of grief. Just post as your normally do. With one exception. Because things get lost in the translation. Instead of typing the word Hottie, replace it with Palmie (which is what you really mean anyway).

Presto...many of your pestering peers will go away.

Steelers up 7-0, ya ya.

Mando you were correct about T-hill but never really explained it to us. Not only that but everyone at the Herald picked the Phins to win. `

Question.. Are we the hottest team in the AFC right now?

Am I the only one that noticed the FG flop was actually going to be a fake? Watch Sturgis, he is leaning & starting to run right & Shely, the end blocker, flared out in a pattern.

That would have been a gutsy play!

I think there is 'something wrong' with every team in the league with the exception of Seattle. The playoffs this year will not be remotely predictable. Any team getting in the AFC will have equal chance to go to the dance.

Goin our Way... 14-0

BTW, according to ESPN, Grimes went to the sideline with cramps. Doesn't appear to be anything serious.

Belichek was just miserable in his post game news conference. LOL

The Bungles have to be saying to themselves...Thanks Dolphins for ticking off the Steelers. They are taking it to the Bungles. WOW

patriots- 1 penalty for 2 yrds. you think there might be some funny business going on with the NFL and the Patriots? what a joke! They were holding us all freakin game, especially Wake. NIce win boys! Next up Buffalo. Not going to be easy. Lets get some!

Exactly why I always say, never blame the refs for a loss when your team plays poorly.

After the Pats took a 10-0 lead, we outscored them 24-10 the rest of the way.

Craig Mouthy Moron's idea of talking respectfully to others is calling everyone who disagrees with him a putz & telling them they're always wrong.

Look t his posts tonight. Sounds like nothing more than a single, lonely, middle aged, overweight slob.

If this douche didn't come here, it'd be a MUCH nicer place to visit. But, theres always one as*hole.

Mouthy Moron Craig is that as*hole!

Right you are PAL....

Keep talking YOUR issues, rather than football, cause it's. Clear you don't know anything about it.

I know you take great pleasure in trying to ruin if for people after a Dolphins victory but it's not going to work. I'll give you the floor and let you continue to badmouth when I'm gone.

'Night Daytona

Captain Obvious. I think Craig M's wife just dumped him. She finally came to her senses. Now he is stuck with Rosy the Hottie, like Odin.

Gotta be frustrating, but he earned it LOL

Charles Clay only got me one point in fantasy but what a huge point it was.

1 rec for 6 yards and a Miami Dolphins 1st down!!!!

Speaking of Clay....

Where is loser In the Breeze who scoffed when I told him Belichek would take Clay out of the game, just like he did Graham.

Some of these bloggers like Breeze and Kris have no integrity. They can't man up, or girl up, when they are proven dead wrong.

Hey, deity, you were right. It WAS written.

Am I the only one that noticed the FG flop was actually going to be a fake? Watch Sturgis, he is leaning & starting to run right & Shely, the end blocker, flared out in a pattern.

That would have been a gutsy play!

After watching the replay online, it was DEFINTELY a fake. The in game replay focused only on the snap/hold, but, it's very clear that it was going to be a fake FG.

Pretty surprised Philbin would have risked field position to Brady in that situation when he could have tried to tie it up.

Moron, we mock you when you're here.

We know idiot, everyone is YG cause he is the only one who doesn't like you.

What a gullible doofus you have to be to believe that!

Get a life momo!

The fins are on their way to controlling their own destiny. Pitt is up 24-0.

It tells you how good the fins are playing. The Dolphins went into Pittsburg and outplayed the Steelers and now the Steelers are dominating the Bengals.

If the Steelers hang on, it is simple beat the Bills and Jets and they are in.

I treated myself and my darling wife to Whole Foods Organic NY Steaks, Yukon Gold potatoes with herbs, and a fine Cabernet... Celebrating the victory.

She is not really a fan, so now my she is wanting her celebration, which I will fulfill wholeheartedly with pleasure. She is taking a long shower, which usually means she wants the full treatment :P

Thanks Fins!

I really feel that if we get into the playoffs, the fins can beat the Colts or Bengals at their house. So it is not necessarily a situation where the fins get in and then killed in the first round. They have a chance to get in and win 1 game.

Hit it Z...

SoundS good to me OD...

Steeler win was insanely gutsy...up in the snow, against Big Ben (who is killing the Bengals right now).....but today was truly magical. How big is that missed field goal now against the Ravens?

I have changed my posting handle over today

Lets keep a positive vibe fellas...

That's better FOTR...

Now go f*ck your old lady till she is dry...

Then Beat your chest and say thats what the Jets and Bills got commin in the next two weeks baby!

Ryan Tannehill is the best QB to enter the NFL since BEFORE the Long draft in 2008.

Matt Ryan is a daffodil compared to Tanne.

You look at 4 games (Bills, Panthers, Bucs, and Ravens). If they could have won 1 of those games or if the Browns could have recovered that on side kick against the pat last week. We would be talking about the fins having a chance to win the division. Today's win would have put them 1 game behind the Pats. That game at Baltimore would have been huge next week.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda. But that is how close the fins are to having a shot at the division.

20 point game...

Would you take $120 Million Flacco or Tannehill? Me? Tannehill No contest. Tannehill can throw just as well and is a serious running threat. Plus he is one tough mudda fuh that doesn't complain ever. Flacco is a hairdo in the wind.

Shanahan wanted to stay put for Tannehill! That is the root of the current soap opera in Washington. YOU DON"T GivE UP THAT MUCH FOR ANY PLAYER!!!! Because, you just don't know. RG3 may never be the same again.

It's time to start calling the dwindling number of Tannehill bashers exactly what thy are: Morons.

If you are one of those people that is how you will now be treated. As a buffoon. A clueless nitwit.

Ryan Tannehill is progressing beautifully. There is not a coach or analyst out there who will not tell you he has an extremely bright future ahead of him.

If you refuse to see that you are now officially branded an imbecile. And will be called out as such here.

Phil SImms is a pretty straight shooting analyst. He knows something about being a QB in the NFL. He was gushing about Tannehill pregame and then during the game. Tannehill has ARRIVED!

I certainly hope you gentlemen practice excellent hygienic habits and proper facial care. I recommend using NEUTROGENA products, which rinse clear and do not clog the pores!! Always follow with a quality MOISTURIZER that has a SPF rating of 30 or higher to combat the devastating aging effects of the sun!!!

You skin will be radiant!!!

Yool C, absolutely.

I have heard one analyst after the other praise Tannehill--even before his recent run began. They also recognize that he is playing behind a subpar offensive line, which makes his work all the more impressive.

Ryan is a winner. He IS our franchise quarterback. As far as I'm concerned, those that are still negative about him (a shrinking number, to be sure) need to be exposed here for the idiots they are.

I echo a lot of the comments I'm reading. What an unbelievable win. My friends and I just sat there at the end of the game completely floored, wiped out, and speechless. If you've been a Dolphins fan long enough you realize that these are the games we typically lose. Again, it's fun to not only have games in December that matter again, but to win them against the typical heavyweights of the NFL has been special.

Thill was hangin out with Moses to bring us to promise land...

The Dolphins are pathetic...any doucheb@g who brings up the word play offs in here is even more pathetic.

Dolphins lose to The Panthers and The Steelers.

Of course they're going to win once in a while.

2-5 in their last seven.

Truly just a dreadful team.

Lmao that Tannereach and Wallace aren't working well together.

Kris says Tannehill is 'meh'. A reach. A project player. Kris knows a lot about football. Let's wait for him to chime in before we jump to conclusions.

If I was banging Tannehills wife 3 times a day I'd play QB like that too!

Must be a very bad day for you As$ hole...

Winners Phins...

Loooooosers Pats and trolls...

The truckers at the truck stop are callin your name...

Dolphins fans should talk playoffs, PLAYOFFS !!

Talk playoffs as much as you can delusional Phins fans.

The Dolphins will be 5-7 in two weeks and there won't be anymore playoff talk this year or for some time to come.

The Dolphins will go 7-9 and Ireland will take the fall for the Incognito situation but Ross will keep Philbin.

With Philbin in the fold, The Dolphins will never attract a top tier GM or GM prospect as any GM or GM prospect with a resume' will want to bring in his own people, not told whom to work with.

The team is talent deficient.

Without Grimes and Wake, all things being equal, the Dolphins would be 2-8.

Next year will be year one for this franchises latest new new new new regime.

...and another losing season.

Shocking, in 10-15yrs, there could be talk of looking for:

All dolfans would welcome him putting together this king of great career resume.

Trolls give good head...

Must be true; that's what it says on the bathroom wall..

Trolls are Looooosers just like the Jets...

Now there is a joke...

Phins lose today...I am correct.

Posted by: FIRE ROSS KILL MARTIN JAIL POUNCEY | December 08, 2013 at 01:04 PM

He hasn't been back since! What a putz loser.

Mando, wassup with Jared Odrick's Sideshow Bob hairdo?

I the last two weeks, Tannehill, has plundered 5 SUPER BOWL RINGS.

2 from Big Ben, 3 from Brady. Both future HOF qb's.

While Kris has not commented, he has refreshed the blog page well over 50 times today.

So he is here. He is just not sure how to save face.

A king among men...
