Ryan Tannehill says he feels 'fine'

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Ryan Tannehill went down in the fourth quarter when he got sacked from behind and rolled up by Jerry Hughes.

The Dolphins quarterback left the game for a series then returned for a couple of series before being pulled once Sunday's 19-0 Buffalo victory seemed sealed. But Tannehill expects next week when the Dolphins play the Jets in the season-finale, he'll be the starter.

"No, i feel good," he said when asked if there was a chance he might miss the game.

At another point in his presser Sunday afternoon, Tannehill said he felt, "fine."

I'd pay money for Jerry Hughes to run into the owners box and sack Ireland.

Very good he's not hurt.

He HAS taken a lot of sacks and hits this year. Very lucky and tough guy.

This warranted a story?

It is shameful that Ireland put such a horrid OL together. Even before the events that led to the two OTs to leave, the line was dreadful.

In my opinion, a total and complete mis-building of the team by Ireland. Even worse, the DL has not been very good this year either (at least, not against the run).

Ok now MARCO all your little fellow trolls are here to play with you....DAYTONA/YG has arrived. Have fun peeps. The REAL DOLFANS would be better off going to bed now. Im out.

MARCO I am going to love tomorrow when MIT, Phins78, BIll, Craig, dusty, Dashi and all the other DOLFANS get ya!!

Posted by: marco=TROLL | December 22, 2013 at 10:19 PM

We'd be better if he were injured. Start Matt Moore.

MIT and BILL A are gonna get ya MARCO......cant wait. Maybe big ole BIll will throw the cuffs on ya....but you probably would enjoy being raped in jail!!!

Posted by: marco=TROLL | December 22, 2013 at 10:05 PM

Rape yeah, male rape. Bill you should just use your name. More sick comments please.....keep them coming... the more attention you give me the more I love it... ha ha. keeping me attacking young Thill has made you so mad and you have gone for it sad FAGGYBITCH.

Posted by: TomJeff | December 22, 2013 at 10:11 PM

you missed the point it was in response to another poster, go read again. You see you fire off at me without the full info, you probably didn't even read that I don't hang the whole clusterfeck on Thill.

I've put Philbin and sherbit on for this loss, don't go the way of the TROLL that is swaying you !!!

Sigh, have you ever touched a girl? And are you SURE it was a girl?

Manning, Brady, Brees, Rivers, Big Ben, Rogers, Newton can't avoid the rush, get the team sorted on the sideline, run for first downs.

The Qb is responsible to get the team going. If you are waiting on Thill, always to get time so he wins, it won't happen. He played as bad as the guys around him, mirroring them. The real franchise Qb's raise the level of the players around them.

NOT ONE OFF YOU THILL FECKERS HAS STATED WHAT HE HAS DONE TO RAISE THE LEVEL OF HIS TEAM MATES PLAY.... GO TRY... I'LL LAUGH MY ASS OFF READING YOUR EFFORTS PRESENT A CASE FOR THILL.

MARC=TROLL, NICE TO SEE YOU'VE USED ANOTHER NAME OTHER THAN YOUR OWN... CHICKEN SH1TE COWARD.

Idiots, why feed Marco? You are only giving him an erection with your debates which he already knows are true. He just needs some way to get a rise, and you are giving it to him.

Is losing as many games as you win "Progress? "

You want to nail Marco? Discipline. Don't respond. Let him wail off on his own. Let him feel the emptiness.

Probably Greg, or Bill Asperger that was on the Thill pass club.

Just use your own name and stop being a coward my friend.

RT played terribly, no question

If Tannehill would have half of Brady's o-line he would be happy...

Don't think so,

Surely, surely you can think of a better comment?

Have a great Holiday! :)

Thill feels fine Mando,

Well I don't.

From the previous post . . .

Flacco is a SB MVP, please don't go comparing Flacco to Thill. I wish we had him, he back aviod the rush and throw his team back into games.

Posted by: Marco | December 22, 2013 at 10:00 PM

Wrong again. Do you write this to get a rise out of us or are you really that obtuse?

Of course you compare your young QB to the elite QBs in the league. How else do you judge where he stands? The point was that Flacco had a game not unlike Tanny's today so if Tanny sucks then so does Flacco. Yet you want Flacco. WTF?

The standard seems to have gone awfully low in Miami. Now its " the last spot in the playoffs" win a game or two above .500.. Has the standard of success dropped in "DOLFAN Land ? " Just asking..

well since we seem to play decent teams well or better, as opposed to the bottom feeders we seem to always blow it with, once/if we get in the playoffs we should be able to roll right through them winning out with no problem!!! lmao!!

Anyway, bed time. See ya everyone.

Its been straight downhill since Parcells left.

Can't say nothing about my pelican. I got a fine pelican.

Better than your pelican.

As far as I'm concerned we could use every pick in next years draft on offensive kinsman. These guys flat suck and are on the verge of getting our QB killed.

The QB sucks.

No-one cares about you PI$$ of TROLL.

Starts in the trenches boys and we got manhandled on both sides of the line today. Ireland failed to see the importance of a solid oline this year and tannehill is paying the price for that ignorance. Surprised at the Defensive line just failing to do the job all year this year. what was a strength going into the season has clearly fallen way short of expectations.

Biggest non move this year was not trading for brandon Albert. We have sacrificed the present for the maybe of Dion Jordan. This move alone should send Ireland out the door. He rode the parcells coat tails for long enough.

FIRST QUATER

Posted by: Froido | December 22, 2013 at 10:27 PM

Thill nowhere near as good as Flacco. I talking about their careers and even their play this year.

We have to disagree, I'll take Flacco, you take Thill. Sadly Im a Dolphins fans, stuck with a guy with a limited arm and ZERO abilty to Lead or make plays.

Look the pathetic arguement about the o-line play has been addresses by me. So your QB only plays well, if he gets perfect protect ? WTF you live in a fantasy world.

You fine zero faults in Thill and blame the rest of the team, like a child refsing to go to bed because your favourite show is on. Grow up and open your sleep eyes my friend.

The velour monorail arrives in the morning.

Prepare your fur.

Did anyone else notice the lack of leadership during pregame today. I noticed that Don Jones. A 7th rd pick and special teams guy was leading the charge to fire up the squad before kickoff. Ok really?. Don jones is our version of Ray Lewis to inspire the team and fire them up. Not to complain but where is Wake, or Pouncey or a front line starter to lead the charge. Not saying this is what caused the loss but it just shows the lack of leadership from this team.

So this is why you wrote 4 paragraphs of defensive gibberish? LOL

Get a life dude. What you need no blog can supply.

Tannehill should be benched. He's just not an NFL starter. He doesnt have any accuracy, doesnt command his team, and is horrible in the 4th quarters (crunch time). Moore would've had the Dolphins in he playoffs both last year and this year.

If you've have made a post on this blog within the last six months, you will be subsequently castrated.

The Silver lining:

The fins are actually the 6th seed in the playoffs after week 16.

You have to be the most ignorant person on the planet to compare Tannehill to Joe Flacco. Joe Flacco is ALREADY in the HOF from his acomplishments. He's already won more road playoff games than ANY QB in history!! And I doubt he's done, either.

Didn't mit go watch this game? Go see the franchise that is back?

How'd that work out for ya? Unless he meant back to suckin!

Joe Flacco,

NFL records
First rookie quarterback to start all sixteen games and make the playoffs (shared with Matt Ryan)
First rookie quarterback to win two playoff games[38]
Most starts by a quarterback in first season: 19
Most starts by a quarterback in first two seasons: 37
Most starts by a quarterback in first three seasons: 55
Most starts by a quarterback in first four seasons: 73
Most starts by a quarterback in first five seasons: 93
Most wins by a quarterback in first 80 consecutive starts: 54
Most wins by a quarterback in first six seasons: 62 (regular season only)[39]
Most combined regular and postseason wins in first three years as a quarterback: 36 (tied with Dan Marino)[40]
Only quarterback to start and win a playoff game in each of his first five seasons[41]
Most road playoff wins by a quarterback: 6
Most playoff wins by a quarterback in first five seasons: 9 (tied with Tom Brady)
Most touchdowns in a postseason: 11 (tied with Joe Montana and Kurt Warner)[33]
Most touchdowns without an interception in a postseason: 11 (tied with Joe Montana)[34]
First quarterback to have a passer rating over 100 in all four games of a single postseason[3]
Most consecutive playoff games with three passing touchdowns: 3 (tied with Bernie Kosar, Kurt Warner, and Aaron Rodgers)

Brady's good. One of the best in today's game. But who has had more time to throw over his career than Brady?

Yeah, I'm sure that canadian Mark was impressed if he was at the game. That guy is distorted lol

Franchise QB's NEVER get shutout...TWICE!!

Tannehill ain't no Joe (Flacco).

Tannehill no TD's in the 4th quarter of eight games this season.

Tannehill 3 yards per pass completion against The Bills.

Tannehill hiding on the bench faking an injury when the season was melting down.

Tannecoward.

The Dolphins are pathetic.

The Bills game exposed on SO MANY LEVELS why this putrid team does not deserve to go to the playoffs.

Does anyone really realze the Bills shut us out.

Canadian Mark only leaves the house to go to the adult book store.

Then it's back to the computer blog about the Phins.

Dolphins New Years Wish List

1. Fireland
2. Fire Philbin
3. Fire Sherman
4. Fire Coyle
5. Draft Johnny Manziel

I say draft Manziel simply because we're now into Game 16 and Tannehill has yet to not underthrow Wallace deep.

I just don't get it...don't get it...don't get it!

we have a solid team in place. good time to make a change at HC and GM and get this team moving forward. The coaching is horrid, agree w/Mando, can't change one without the other. go dolphins!

Why does it seem our defensive players have gotten worse, not better, in Coyle's system?

t isn't a fluke folks.

BOYCOTT THE FINS UNTIL IRELAND IS FIRED! WE'RE SICK AND TIRED OF LOSING! WE'RE SICK AND TIRED OF THE CLASSLESS, INCOMPETENT GM. BOYCOTT AND HELP MAKE THE CHANGE!

the nfl should have flexed either miami-ny or cincinnati-baltimore to 3 pm . this would have ensured that san diego played hard against kc. as it stands, if both miami and baltimore win, what incentive does san diego have to play hard since they will have been eliminated from the playoffs? of course, we can assume they will play hard because they are "professionals", but the way the nfl arranged things give baltimore a distinct advantage over miami from a playoff-scenario perspective. it's true, however, that kc is locked into the 5th seed and hence will probably rest some starters.

SOLID TEAM?

At least 16 of 22 starters are Jekyll/Hyde clones. They will have a great game to make us believe, then, once we believe crush our hearts in their hairy grossed nails hand.

What we have here is a PERRENIAL 500 TEAM assembled here. Nothing more, nothing less.

Posted by: austin | December 22, 2013 at 11:31 PM

No offense Austin, but who cares. After today, last thing I want is to watch this piece of crap team once more than necessary.
