« The perfect plan for the Dolphins offensive line | Main | Quickie OTA practice reaction »

Open OTA workout today so tune in

The 2014 Dolphins squad, at least a vast majority of them, should be at training camp today for an Organizational Training Activity.

If you want play-by-play of the two hours of practice between 10 and noon you should follow me on twitter -- @ArmandoSalguero.

Otherwise come back here this afternoon for the quickie posts on what happened.

Things to look for today?

1. Brandon Gibson's progress from his knee injury (torn PCL) last year. Is he working? To what degree?

2. The offense. What are they running? How much is the classic Air Coryell descendent that you're likely to see as something of a departure from the West Coast offense offensive coordinator Bill Lazor has planned? How much read option will we see (the Dolphins will run some of it)?

3. Starters. Is Ja'Wuan James already inserted into the right tackle spot? How are the guards looking? How are the cornerbacks setting up?

How anyone can listen to Manzeil and Tannehill and come away with the impression that Manzell is smarter is beyond me.

Takes an idiot to like one I guess.

Finally some action on the field to talk about. Time for the cream to rise to the top. No more excuses and speculations.

2 watt

Ha, ha

just as Home stated

Turner is not a starter at this level

Turner basically played against high school caliber players at his small school program

Turner = another Bust

Starks just plowed over Billy Turner, again. But maybe that’s to be expected this early

#Dolphins DE Dion Jordan eats up LT Nate Garner for a would-be sack on QB Ryan Tannehill.

Hey, he overthrew Wallace. That's pleasant ;-)

It's like the first practice bud, lol.

Home Is A Piece Of Human Garbage | May 27, 2014 at 11:00 AM

Home isn't human, change your name.

Tannehill misses Wallace deep again

What a freakin' loser this (Reel Dolphin In Sight w Home) guy is. If I ever met him, I might have to ask, "How's Rosie Palm doing?", because they are obviously very close. Go away, already!

All the Time

Go Fish!

Now lil Finny is doing it too

Finny picking off the awful Tannehill in his 1st practice!

Cortland Finnegan just began the final 11-on-11 session picking off Tannehill. Hakuna Matata.

Shoulda drafted Home's pick - John Manz!

Dashi, yes, am I also encouraged by Tannehill. The timing will improve and it should already have improved if Wallace actually gave a dam.

Home, what a jackarse... so stupid on so many levels...

What happened to LOL, Homey?

Yes, that is right. You do as Dashi says. Always have you big box looking MF'ker.

As always, Dashi comes and destroys the big Home-o. But unlike you, Dashi doesn't keep score. It would be futile.

Just as long as Dashi and Home know the truth. That is all that matters. Dashi has been putting it in ur mouth since 2012 home.

Your best bet Home is to troll everyone else and not respond to Dashi. We don't want to annihilate you AGAIN.

Don't slip. Know your role. Stay in your lane. Or I will have you sleeping in the Hudson.

That was sincere. He overthrew Wallace instead of underthrowing him

Misses either way, but, lesser of two evils I guess

Burn ur Tannehill jersey's

"AWFUL" practice for Tannehill

no improvement

worse than last year w no pass rush,no pads, in shorts and red shirt

Shoulda drafted MANZ

Tannehill is terrible

Manziel worships Gangsta Rappers and is one of those idiot white kids you see at the mall trying to look and talk as if they grew up "in the hood." He'll probably spend his first bonus check on gold dental implants and an Escalade.

Dude is a MORON.

still need
a qb

Wallace and Hartline kow Tannehill sucks and cannot throw the football accurately past 60 ft

Tannehill is regressing even further

of tpuke

Finny says "this is too easy"
"you got any reel QBs"

Check it out

Moore just got in and guess what!!?

Omar Kelly ✔ @OmarKelly
Matt Moore floats a TD pass to Armon Binns for 80. How Binns got so far behind Jamar Taylor is unknown. Great play on a deep ball.

Wow. You guys really read a lot into tweets from a freaking practice in shorts.

And you expect to be taken seriously? Jesus.

"@OmarKelly: Is it a coincidence how mediocre Ryan Tannehill performs without Brian Hartline? Question I'll let you ponder."

the FBI and HOME would call that a clue
. . . Tannehill Still Sucks!

Moore w perfect deep throw for 80 YD TD

Dion Jordan apparently took his offseason quite seriously. He has the ability to be a terror.

Is there any worse QB than Tannehill

seriously enuf of this clown show

this guy flat out sucks

get over tanny and move forward

awful practice for Tanny

Cortland Finnegan intercepts Ryan Tannehill on first play of team.

Reel Dolphin In Sight w Home so you're one of the douches taking my tax dollars on unemployment. I guess that's why you're able to post on here every few minutes. LOSER!

Tannehill is the most physically talented quarterback the Dolphins have ever drafted. Yes, I love Marino, But even Dan wasn't as physically talented.

The Dolphins picked a QB in the first round in the greatest QB class since Dan Marino was drafted.

Tannehill showed growth from his rookie year. Even though he had the worst O-line in Dolphins History.

After this season, only 3 QBs have thrown for over 11000 yds in their first 3 years in the NFL. Dan Marino, Cam Newton, and Ryan Tannehill after this year. Matt Moore and Chad Henne in over 6 years in the NFL haven't passed for over 10k.

Armando Salguero @ArmandoSalguero
Tannehill overthrows Wallace on deep route. Seen this before.

Don't blame Home

Home NEVER wanted Tannehill while u were doing all the Tannehill sucking

Home wanted w o a doubt Kuechly and of course John Manz @ #19

Home 4 GM

no never collected unemployment

Omar Kelly ✔ @OmarKelly
Tannehill is back after Matt Moore killed his rep. First pass is a first down to Charles Clay. No blankie for Tannehill today by the way.

coaches cannot believe how "awful" Tannehill looks

Moore come in and "Kills It"

coaches giving Tannehill another shot

Reel report on Tannefail will be published tomorrow by Omar Kelly

no stoking this POS QB anymore

Lauren Tannehill seen stroking Matt Moore's inner thigh and telling him, It's not really working out with Ryan"

Reel Dolphin In Sight with Home is an idiot! It does not take a degree in English to figure out that Hoyer is the one with the degree! Stop calling yourself anything reel.!!!!!

Is Brock Jensen the starting QB yet?

Reel cant even spell his own name right. You should ask Manziel to marry you!

Take it wasy, English is a 2nd language for Home... after all, he grew up in Boston. Been there many times and still can't figure out what fukkin language they're speaking there...

Finnegan describes his style as "im a jerk on the field"

Home is simply just a jerk-off...

Dolphins second-year DE Dion Jordan is up to 265 pounds.
Jordan weighed in at 248 at the Combine two Februaries ago. Dolphins beat writers observed that it looks like Jordan took an "air pump" to his arms and shoulders over the winter.
At this time last year, Jordan was rehabbing a shoulder injury which didn't allow him to work out. He's 100 percent healthy now and has been at the Dolphins facility for over a month. The Dolphins are expecting a big sophomore leap from last year's No. 3 overall pick.

no never collected unemployment

Posted by: Reel Dolphin In Sight w Home | May 27, 2014 at 12:19 PM

It's true. You have to have a job and ACTUALLY WORK to qualify for unemplotment benefits.

That pretty much explains that.

Did someone say "jerk-off"?

haha, right on cue!!!

a stellar
practice from

lol Rdubs

After my wifes surgery being able to do that has become much harder. I try to stay awake after she goes to bed, but I always end up falling asleep. But I was successful on Saturday night. So I decided to check out a clip from The Avengers XXX. Hawkeye and Black Widow did the trick. I wish I could find the whole movie without having to sign up for anything or download illegally! I am sad sad man and I dont care :)

The thing to keep an eye on during the OTA's imho is how these guys are buying in with a oouple of new coaches and Cogs gone and in Philbin's 3rd season.

Posted by: Dolfan Rick | May 27, 2014 at 10:23 AM

And how are you going to keep an eye on that? Trusting OmarMando drool?

First practice lol, getting high or low on anything at this point is wasted energy.

RT is another Chad Henne.

He is useless.

Hahaa, man, try going to the can in the middle of the night like most other married men....

Avengers XXX, catch any of the She Hulk?

Last year under throw and now over throw. Got three months to get the timing right. Looks like Tannehill has gotten stronger and Wallace is slower. Should has practiced during the off season.

Wow a new guy. Welcome Evan.

have not has

Mike Wallace is here catching from the jugs machine after practice.at least the jugs is accurate.

I will say I'm encouraged by somethings I've read..

Dallas Thomas getting first team reps because like I said before, expecting Turner to start day one is unrealistic for a guy from East Idaho State.

Them trying to rectify the MLB position.

Dion Jordan's impressive physical display is very reminiscent of what we heard about Odrick and Vernon a year ago at this time.

He's going to light it up... at 265, he can still play OLB at that 6'6 frame too.
