Miami No. 1 in road rage? Now I'm burnin' up!
I have one thing to say to the latest road-rage survey folks, who ranked Miami No. 1 in the nation for the third straight year: Whaddya talkin' about? Wait'll I get you on the Palmetto! Heh.
Surely one can't take these practically groundless surveys too seriously, but the third annual In the Driver's Seat Road Rage Survey claims it's a rough road for Miami -- the roughest of 24 markets explored.
Miami drivers ranked No. 1 for the second consecutive year for seeing other drivers running red lights every day, it said. Drivers in Miami are also most likely to observe other drivers cutting into their lane with little or no warning and speeding on a daily basis. And, Miami motorists tied for the No. 2 spot with Houston and Detroit for texting, emailing and/or using a BlackBerry while driving every day. Now that I believe!
I say for every louse out there, a dozen more are considerate. A half-dozen? What do you think?
Rounding out the five worst of the bunch: Boston, New York, Baltimore and Washington.
One interesting tidbit, ladies. It seems women are just as bad as the men, according to the research.
