Scott Olsen said earlier he didn’t mind if Ken Griffey Jr. hit No. 600 off him as long as the Marlins won.
Olsen will get a chance to face Junior, who is back in the lineup for the Reds, hitting third for Saturday night’s game.
Fredi Gonzalez tweaked his lineup a bit for Saturday’s game. He gave right fielder Jeremy Hermida and first baseman Mike Jacobs the night off, and gave Jacque Jones a start in right field and Hermida’s No. 2 spot in the lineup, and started Wes Helms at first in Jacobs’ cleanup spot in the lineup.
Fredi might as well try a new lineup against the Reds, who have scored 31 runs and are 4-0 against the Fish.
