UGGLA'S DAY OFF
Manager Fredi Gonzalez said he talked to Dan Uggla about a week ago for a scheduled day off against Phillies starter Jamie Moyer. Uggla, who blasted a game-winning grand slam last night, is hitting .095 in his career against Moyer. Uggla is 2 for 21 with 10 strikeouts against Moyer. Gonzalez said Uggla is available to pinch-hit.
Alfredo Amezaga, who hasn't exactly fared much better against Moyer, starts for Uggla. Amezaga is hitting .182 (2 for 11) against Moyer.
SULTANS OF SWAT
With the three home runs they hit on Wednesday night against the Phillies, the Marlins surpassed the
100 home run mark faster than any other Marlins team in franchise history.
Florida reached the 100 home run mark in 65 games – a new team record. The previous Marlins record was 100 home runs in 88 games last season.
Jorge Cantu’s solo home run off Cole Hamels on Wednesday gave the Marlins 100 home runs on the season. Florida now has 101 home runs this season after Uggla’s grand slam to win Wednesday’s game.

It looks like the Phillies never rest there players, and amezega plays 3 times a week ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

As I am a baseball lover, I try to watch games whenever I have time. But, for me, and without doubt for thousands of other fans all over the world, I love the Washington Nationals and I do my best to attend their games though we notice that Nationals tickets got a little pricy and hard to be found especially when we talk about some hot games. The Washington Nationals tickets are a little pricy but this should not prevent us from fallowing our favourite team and support it, and this is what means to be a good fan.
